What happened to them? Our reality TV stars then and now

The winner of the scandalous show “Hunger”: what is he doing now?

Immediately after the show I entered the Shchukin School. At first I tried on a budget, I easily passed 4 rounds. And the last one failed. I was squeezed in front of 20 teachers and could not interest them.

Then I thought: “Well, here it is. This is probably how it should be, who will take me to the theater?! I called the producer of the show “The Voice” because she helped me with my application. I say that I didn’t do it. She was very surprised because I walked so smoothly. After some time, she called back and said that tomorrow there would be enrollment in a paid group - 8 places. Tuition cost $5,000 a year, but as a Hunger winner I get $1,000 a month for life. So I could pay for my education with the money I saved.

But I began to resist. I didn’t want to go again, since they didn’t take me already. But suddenly I realized that I couldn’t lose twice. There's nothing to lose. And it became so easy for me...

I came to the exam relaxed and screamed at Yesenin, “Oh, you sleigh.” They say to me: “Loud, loud...” And I immediately realized that I had passed. I studied on a paid basis for two years, and then I was transferred to a budget program.

When did you start filming?

In my third year, in 2008. During my career, I managed to serve at the Vakhtangov Theater. And then they started filming my performances one after another. I left and have no regrets: sitting without roles in the theater is a waste of time. I have no experience in big cinema, but working with famous artists, even in TV series, teaches me a lot. In the process, we learn from each other's experiences.

Cinema or theater?

I like cinema better. Here you play only with your eyes, even facial expressions should not give away what you want to say. But in the theater you need broad gestures, a loud whisper, for example. And of course, you need to feel the audience.

There are times when you follow the viewer's lead. For example, he laughs from simple phrases or gestures. Then you can decide that the audience liked it and start working at 30%.

Have you ever had this happen?

Yes, in the 3rd year exam. We staged “The Return” according to Platonov. In the story, the hero returns from the war and finds out that his wife cheated on him. But he also had love at the front. This is a story about how war makes loved ones strangers. The production is very powerful, I even had to break a kerosene lamp.

Then I was only 24 years old, and the character had already seen the world. So I had to glue on a mustache. I was very natural in the role, but the audience laughed... And I deliberately began to make them laugh, although the director laid down a completely different mood. After the performance, he asked me: “Sanya, how could you screw everything up?”

The next day we had to play the same performance, but for our parents. I got ready and when I pressed the kerosene lamp, I injured my palm. The partner saw and gasped, quietly asked: “Did you cut yourself?” I'm o. We wrap our hand in a waffle towel, and it becomes stained with blood. The viewer watches and does not understand what is happening. But there was deathly silence in the hall.

What are your favorite roles?

I am comfortable in any role. And if this is not so, then you are not an artist. We were taught that you first need to understand the character of the hero, then make him familiar. The familiar is understandable, the understandable is easy, and the easy is interesting. These are the components of a successful role.

What to do if you don't like the hero?

I always look for positive traits in a hero and figure out why he became like that. There are no people who are born bad. Somewhere they were offended or acted wrongly... When you find these moments, everything becomes clear. Even if our character has nothing in common according to the script, I endow him with my own traits. And I can interpret the scene in different ways: either make sure that women like him, or so that the men are for him. This is acting.

Who do you play in the series “IP Pirogov”?

I play the heroine's classmate, her first love, whom they met as adults. By the way, I didn’t have such a story, because I studied in Crimea, and all my classmates stayed there.

There were two girls at school: one was younger, and the other was a classmate. The second one, as usual, we dated until graduation, and then went to different cities and no longer kept in touch. We broke up so as not to suffer and regret later. But they didn’t agree on this, the relationship itself began to cool.

According to the script, there are a lot of fights in the series. Including you and Vera’s husband. Was it difficult to play?

Danil Dunaev and I studied together at “Pike”, and then also starred in the TV series “Gone Girl”. We've known each other for a long time, and that's always good for work. We have no rivalry, so we do all the scenes lightly.

The series “IP Pirogova” has been on air on the Super channel since February 18

Margot (“Behind the Glass”)

The project “Behind the Glass” was the first Russian reality show. Spectators, who were unfamiliar with this format, were literally glued to the screens, watching how six brave people lived in a house with glass walls under the guns of television cameras. One of the most prominent participants in the show was Margot (Margarita Semenyakina), who began a whirlwind romance with Maxim Kasymov on the project. After leaving the glass house, they got married and had a son. But the marriage broke up. In an interview, Margarita told how difficult it was for her to find a job (she wanted to get a job as a choreography teacher): she was refused, citing the fact that a person who had sex in front of television cameras could not work with children. But then the dark streak ended. Margarita not only opened her own children's studio, but also met a new love.

Stepan Menshchikov (“House-2”)

Perhaps the most popular Russian reality show was Dom-2 . It's been going for 10 years now. But the audience remembered the participants of the first set most of all. Among them was Stepan Menshchikov, who had affairs with Alena Vodonaeva and Victoria Bonya during the project. But he started a family after the project. A year ago his son was born. After “House-2,” Stepan worked on television for some time: he participated in the show “Stars Change Their Profession” as a hair stylist, and hosted the “Hu from Hu” program on the TNT channel. Now he is an event host.

Sergei Odintsov (“The Last Hero”)

Reality TV stars: where are they now?

Almost simultaneously with the “Behind the Glass” project, the show “The Last Hero” , in which 16 participants lived the life of Robinsons on a desert island. The first season was won by Sergei Odintsov, a customs officer from Kursk. He invested the 3 million rubles he won in the construction of a restaurant in his hometown. After the show, Sergei resigned from customs, went into politics (he was a deputy of the city assembly) and business.

Finale of “HUNGER” on TNT channel on February 14

Reality project changed the lives of 12 Russians

“HUNGER” was on the TNT channel for 90 days.
All of Russia watched the show, in which 12 Russian boys and girls found themselves in an unfamiliar country, without money or knowledge of the language. The show aroused sincere interest from Russian television viewers. On average per day, 9.2% of people (Russia, 18–45 years old) constantly follow the adventures of “our people abroad” on TV. Thanks to the success of “HUNGER,” TNT increased the ratings of its other programs and the average share of the channel’s audience. During their entire stay in Berlin, the participants were not isolated from the outside world. On the contrary, they actively acted in unusual circumstances - they used every opportunity to reveal their talents and make the most of them. The guys learned to overcome difficulties and emerge victorious from difficult life situations, work in a team and earn money, value each other and value friendship, love and, most importantly, believe in their own strengths and that everything is possible! All of them are unequivocally sure that “HUNGER” divided their lives into two periods. “The program changed me radically,” Karina Saberzyanova said in an interview. – Firstly, I changed my outlook on life. Previously, I took food, surroundings, and loved ones for granted. Now I have learned to appreciate all this. How I appreciated it there, in a closed room, where the same people were around me.” Vlad Abramov, while still at home, developed the idea of his own radio station, which he is now trying to bring to life. “I was inspired by “The Voice” for this idea! I thought, why don’t I open my own radio station, where the DJ’s voice will pass through a synthesizer.” In addition, the “HUNGER” project helped people who had not seen each other since birth find themselves! Zuriko Nazadze, the first participant to leave the project, could not even imagine what surprise awaited him upon his return to Moscow. His sister Marina, from whom they were separated as children, came to the studio. It was only thanks to Zuriko’s participation in the TNT project that the Nazadze family was reunited. 90 days in the heart of Germany
For three months, the reality project, as always, belongs to the very heart of TNT airwaves - prime time, 21.00!
In addition to the genuine interest from the Russians, the German press and public paid close attention to the guys. All the central newspapers and magazines of Berlin, as well as the media of America, Canada, Great Britain, Austria, Norway, France, Sweden and even Italy and Spain wrote about “HUNGER”, fearing that the heroes of the show would go hungry in Europe. Provocative headlines about the TNT reality show have been on the front pages of German publications for more than two weeks. In particular, the Bild newspaper wrote: “Russian television locks girls in a container and makes them starve!” The newspaper hype around "HUNGER" prompted the German police to come on a verification visit. Police Chief Frank Brinker personally conducted a routine inspection of the participants' home and made sure everything was in order. Over time, controversial quotes stopped appearing in the Western press. A new wave of publications poured towards the end of the project. The burghers' understanding of the idea of the project was finally heard in the city newspaper Berliner Morgenpost: “Shortly before the end of the 90-day show, the players, despite the provocative title of the program, look healthy. The fact is that the Russian TV channel tried to explain this to the worried public back in November - that in fact they do not have to fight starvation in the middle of the German capital, causing widespread outrage. They are only fighting for the sympathy of TV viewers.” If you follow the truth to the end, then the participants in the reality show not only fought “for the sympathy of television viewers.” Representatives of nine Russian regions - Krasnodar, Perm, Kazan, Moscow, Tyumen, Vladivostok, Korolev, Saratov, St. Petersburg - lived in Berlin, fell in love, quarreled, staged theatrical performances, received famous guests, learned a lot from each other and, of course, , earned money. Money and love
Before leaving for Germany, each of the participants thought through their own tactics for making money.
But expectations and reality do not always coincide. It took the project heroes less than a month to understand this, adapt and start acting! In the first three weeks they earned 200 euros. By the New Year, their budget reached 500, and at the end of the show, the total income of the hungry was more than 700 euros. The reality show “HUNGER” was not without love stories, everyone fell in love: Ksyusha Kozlova with Vlad Abramov, Vlad Abramov with Nastya Rubtsova, Natalya Syutkina with the “Russian” Berliner - security guard Edik, Lyubov Gaikovich with Shura Konstantinov, and he with his In turn, he showed unambiguous signs of attention to Karina Saberzyanova, and after her departure he began to have feelings for Galina Nenilina. There were some broken hearts, tears in the pillow, quarrels, joy, happiness and fun. Three contenders for one prize

He is not afraid to admit his shortcomings. For example, he doesn’t play the guitar well, so his songs are clumsy and harsh, but very funny and truthful.” One of the finalists, Nikita Golubev, shares the same opinion: “Konstantinov must win in the final!” In any case, the wait won't be long. The last point in the voting will be put by TV viewers. Already at 22.30 on Saturday the name of the wealthy future winner of the reality show “HUNGER” will be known.
