“I am passionate about travel, photography and videography. I got this passion from my family: as a child, I often saw photographs taken by my father while traveling around the world, which my mother used as models for painting, giving the photographs new shapes and colors,” says Stefano Tiozzo about himself.
Stefano is an Italian photographer who became famous among Russians after his marriage to singer Sati Casanova. Nothing is known about the biography of Stefano Tiozzo: there is no date of birth, no information about the family. The photographer now lives in Turin, Italy. The young man’s parents also live there.

Stefano inherited his passion for photography from his photographer father, and took up photography seriously only at the age of 21, when the young man was given his first professional camera.

From that moment on, Stefano constantly sought to improve his technique and equipment and began to travel around the world, like his father, in order to convey to viewers the beauty of the landscapes he saw. Tiozzo specializes in landscape photography. Stefano considers his first and most important trip to be a trip to Iceland in 2011.
“I was literally amazed by the beauty of the landscapes, light, tranquility and people who meet in the Arctic Circle,” says the Italian on the pages of his website.
But a revolution in Tiozzo’s life and career occurred a year later, in 2012, when he managed to capture the northern lights while traveling in Norway, in the city of Tromsø.

Photography goes hand in hand with videography. Stefano took his first step in the video by filming a short video on his mobile phone camera. Step by step, journey by journey, Stefano moved from a simple “music video” to the first attempts to convey a message using the expediency of a ready-made narrative, to the first real documentary film “Torino-Capo Nord: Lonely Road Trip, or “The Story of a Long Solo Travel That Led me with a car and a camera from my hometown of Turin to the North Cape, through Denmark, the Norwegian fjords, Sweden and Finland."

Since then, documentary videography has stimulated Stefano's imagination: he likes to convey not only the beauty of the world around him through images in photography, but also the sensations and emotions that accompany the places encountered along the photographer's path through video filming.

The lovers plan to keep their wedding suits as souvenirs. Sati also noted that she was going to change her dress four times. And jeweler Daria Petra helped choose Casanova and Tiozzo’s rings. According to the artist, she and Stefano preferred unusual jewelry with a family monogram.
“Now everything is so easy, joyful and somehow childish! The condition is like that of a 15-year-old. For the first time, I’m not afraid of anything and I’m not complicating anything. Everything is simple and clear. The heart knows - this is the right person,” Sati admitted in an interview.

Meanwhile, the photographer continues to travel, constantly searching for the secrets and principles that determine whether a beautiful image can convey more than just the memory of visiting a certain place. Stefano believes that this research will never end, because it is the meaning of a photographer’s life.

In November 2020, Tiozzo organized and taught a photography course in San Giuseppe: in the program he included the theory of managing elements in landscape photography, photographic output depending on the weather, panning, multiple exposures, using Adobe Lightroom, etc.
After conducting courses and master classes, the photographer went to Hirosaki (Japan) for the cherry blossom festival to photograph this uniquely beautiful phenomenon. The photographer devoted the summer of 2020 to traveling around northern Europe: he visited Iceland and Norway. And at the end of August - September 2020, Stefano went to discover the historical, natural and cultural icons of the pearl of South America - Peru. Tiozzo posts photo and video reports about his travels on his personal website and Instagram.
However, for the period from September to November 2020, for reasons unknown to the public, a “window” appeared in the busy schedule of the Italian photographer. There was no need to guess for a long time about the reasons for this - in August, Russian singer Sati Casanova announced in the media that her wedding to Stefano was planned for October 2020. Moreover, in view of the different national traditions of the newlyweds, the festive event will be held in three versions.
First, the celebration took place in Kabardino-Balkaria, the bride’s homeland. The newlyweds wore Circassian national wedding costumes, and the singer's parents blessed the marriage. At the end of October 2017, the couple plans to hold a ceremony according to Catholic traditions (although, according to Sati, she is a Muslim) in Italy, with the groom’s family. And then the newlyweds plan to celebrate the joyful event in Moscow, in secular society, with friends.

Considering that the spouses’ only language of communication is still English (the young people are studying Russian and Italian together), and Stefano’s work is not tied to a specific city, unlike Sati, the family will live in Moscow for the first time, and eventually plans to move to their homeland Tiozzo, to Turin. It is still unknown whether Tiozzo will be accompanied by her husband. In December, the photographer will visit Argentina, and plans to celebrate the new year 2020 in Finland.

The young singer was born on October 2, 1982 in Kabardino-Balkaria into a large Muslim family. In addition to Sati, her parents had 3 more daughters. The future singer spent her entire childhood in her native village, where she studied. First at school, which she graduated with success, and then at the cultural school.

Sati's father always adhered to fairly strict moral rules, and when the young girl began performing in one of the restaurants in Nalchik, such behavior caused strong indignation in the family. After working as a singer for some time, the young girl set off to conquer Moscow.
