KVN

Natalia says about how she got into KVN: “I saw an advertisement: “Actors, singers, sound engineers and dancers wanted” - and decided: I’m not a dancer, not an actor, not a singer, which means I’m not suitable. Well, okay. And she moved on. In the first year, all groups had to prepare some kind of performance for the Autumn Ball. And when we started getting funny, I got so involved in it all - I started choosing music and coming up with jokes. The local KVN team noticed me. I’m an active girl, and active people are needed everywhere.”

A TELEVISION

First, Medvedeva participated in the Made in Woman project. The girls performed humorous acts in clubs. Over time, this grew into the successful TV show Comedy Woman.

Natalia Medvedeva performed on Comedy Woman for four years and then decided to leave the show. “Maybe a couple of years will pass and I’ll start to get bored, but I doubt it. Still, this is a stage that passed successfully, and I’m glad that it happened,” she said in an interview.

But I want something new. And I think that the audience would also be interested in looking at me from a different side that is unusual for them.”

VOICE OVER

The actress is often invited to dub foreign films and voice over cartoons. It is in her voice that the brown bear cub Kesha from the animated series “Be-be-bears” speaks.

It’s interesting that Natalia never received an acting education. “I take it more from my gut,” she says. - I need to read it several times, imagine it all. And it comes from within. INTERVIEW

About the first money

“When I first wanted something besides sweets, dad said: “Go and earn money yourself.” It didn't matter to me. I went to sell zucchini from our garden. With the proceeds I bought a cassette by Philip Kirkorov with the song “My Bunny”. It’s very funny to remember now, but then I played the tape all day. And I was terribly proud of myself and my purchase.”

About professionalism

“I have a tough approach to work: punctuality, diligence, and knowledge of the text are important to me. Because of this approach of mine, the film crew often suffers: I become demanding of everyone, I start nagging and blowing everyone’s minds. I want to work with professionals.”

About taboo

“I don’t do sex scenes, I don’t undress and I don’t kiss. Maybe I’ll take the risk of acting for Playboy when I’m 65, because I’ll be an incredibly pumped-up woman with inserted breasts and ass. But for now I will leave everything for my family, my husband, I will keep this secret. Because any actress can always undress, this is the last point she can take. And I will take it with my talent.”

About views on family

“I think that this modern trend - trying to put trousers on a woman - will not lead to anything good. When everything is upside down, it kills romance, relationships, sincere feelings.”

About balance

“I am a very explosive person, expressive, impatient. But lately I think more and more often before I say or do anything. And I don’t forget to ground myself. Sometimes I like to come after a concert and start washing the floors, toilets, and sinks. In general, I enjoy cleaning and doing household chores. This helps to maintain a balance between the spiritual and the everyday, otherwise you can fly away with all these flowers and applause.”

About achievements

“Sometimes it seems to me that I haven’t done anything yet. If, on a scale of one hundred, I note what I have achieved in life, then, probably, I am now only at the level of fifteen points. I am often tormented by the question: why haven’t I achieved more? It seems to me that I still have to plow and plow. But, of course, I don’t regret anything that happened, what I did, what university I graduated from, and in general about everything I did. I only blame myself for being too lazy - I should have worked more. But I still have time to catch up.”

The event itself had little to do with politics, but its guests included Natalya Medvedeva’s ex-husband Eduard Limonov, who now heads the National Bolshevik Party, and the musicians of Metal Corrosion, who, as is known, are also no strangers to radical politics. Due to the thorough security screening of guests, an impressive crowd crowded in front of the entrance, Intermedia reports. Not everyone managed to get to the event on time, however, at exactly 8 pm, as stated in the poster, the film screening began.

"Ursa Major" by Ms. Vyugina is built according to the classic canons of documentary films. Some amateur and professional video chronicles recorded during Natalya Medvedeva’s lifetime, inserts from her concert performances, fragments of talk shows and television interviews with the participation of the singer, and many, many monologues of people who knew her, recorded after her death. The audience watched the film with intense interest. Its creator managed to construct numerous monologues in such a way that they sounded in the film as if their characters were speaking not to the camera, but to each other.

Following Eduard Limonov's story about how hard it was for him to live with Natalya Medvedeva, there followed the emotional cry of the main character: 'This old goat got me!'

After friends of the singer and writer said that Medvedeva was a real rock star who would never be forgotten, music critic Artemy Troitsky skeptically stated that “in 20 years, if Natalya Medvedeva will be remembered, it will only be for some special occasion.” '. And “Ursa Major” ended with a touching, sentimental story from the mother of the deceased.

The audience greeted the screening with thunderous applause, but Ms. Medvedeva’s last common-law husband, Sergei Vysokosov (aka “Hog” from “Metal Corrosion”) said that he did not like the picture too much. According to him, Natalya was “praised too much” there, but it was necessary to scold her a little for authenticity.

To be fair, it should be noted that not all participants in the film praised her. In addition to the above-mentioned Artemy Troitsky, who also spoke about the “peteushny” orientation of Medvedeva’s musical creativity, there were also monologues by Alla Pugacheva, who once invited the singer to her “Christmas meetings.” However, Alla Borisovna did not scold Natalya and did not deny that she had a bright talent, she only sadly remarked: “I gave her a chance, but I could not be her nanny and deal only with her.”

Following the screening of the film, viewers were treated to the premiere of a video for the song 'I Am Myself', filmed eight years ago, but edited by the creator of 'Big Dipper' only now, and a music festival with the participation of mostly little-known bands - 'Low Frequency', 'Track ', 'E Eastern E', 'Nile 62', 'Ministry of Psychedelics', etc. Each of the festival guests considered it their duty to say a few words about Natalia Medvedeva. Sometimes simply amazing pearls emerged from the stage, for example: “These people revealed to me all the brightness and depth of Natalya Medvedeva” or: “As an actress, Natalya was not like any other woman, and as a woman she was not like any other actress.”

The concert was only enlivened by Umka, who, having been left without a rhythm section due to the drummer’s illness, managed to assemble a new accompanying cast literally from among the spectators who came to the concert and performed with him several killer rock and rolls.

Natalya Medvedeva was born in Leningrad on July 14, 1958. At the age of 16, she left for America, where she began her career as a fashion model. In this role she worked for leading fashion designers on the catwalks of the USA, Japan, and Europe.

Natalia Medvedeva's singing career began in nightclubs, restaurants, and cabarets. Having lived in America from 1974 to 1982, Natalya and her husband, the famous writer Eduard Limonov, moved to France.

In 1985, her first book, “Mom, I Love a Crook,” was published.

In 1989, she returned to Russia, where she collaborated with various periodicals “New Look”, “Foreigner”, “Day”, “Smena”, and in the same year her two novels “Love with Alcohol” and “My Struggle” were published.

In 1994, Natalya Medvedeva, together with the musicians of the group “Kh.Z.” began working on her first Russian-language musical project “Tribunal”. At the same time, the group NATO was formed, in which she took on the role of vocalist. After existing for a couple of years, the NATO project collapsed, and Natalya and her common-law husband Sergei Vysokosov (Borov from “Metal Corrosion”) began working together.

From 1997 to 2003, Natalya Medvedeva wrote the following books: “And They Had a Passion”, “The Night Singer”, “Hotel California”, “My Beloved”, the play “The Diary of Margot Fuhrer”.

On the night of February 2-3, 2003, Natalya Medvedeva died at the age of 45.
