There are some things in life that are truly important and necessary. That which is the essence of a person, his core. What he truly is.
But it also happens that a person pretends and plays some role worse than any professional actor.
What a person really is is the truth. A real and unique Universe, filled with meaning. Always existing, regardless of any external factors.
What a person pretends to be is fiction. This is also a kind of Universe. Illusory, unreliable and existing only as long as people talk about it.
And somewhere on the border of these two parallels there is a certain zone that lives by its own rules. A whole galaxy of one of the most famous and controversial journalists in Russia. “Territory of Delusions” by Igor Prokopenko.
Biography
There is such a thing as a calling. This is its own meaning of existence. A path with a real goal. Igor, who had already practically connected his life with the army, eventually turned out to be journalism.
Igor tends to avoid personal questions. He leaves them, as if brushing aside the absurd obstacles on the way to his most important and main goal, his calling. What really occupies his mind and heart, and what everyone regularly sees and hears on TV screens or reads in the numerous books he has written.

The story of Igor Prokopenko dates back to February 8, 1965. On this day, a future journalist was born in the city of Pavlovsk, Voronezh region.
Since childhood, the boy had a craving for writing, and even his initial choice in favor of a military specialty could not extinguish his desire to write. It was in this activity that Igor saw his calling and the meaning of his existence. He simply could not help but write.
After serving in the army, young Prokopenko decided to become a military man and successfully graduated from one of the best military educational institutions of the USSR - the Kalinin Suvorov Military School, as well as the Donetsk Higher Military-Political School of Engineering Troops and Signal Corps.

After graduating and receiving the rank of lieutenant, Igor served for several years in a secret air defense center.
When the future exposer of secrets and the unknown turned 24 years old, already at the rank of major, Igor Prokopenko’s army career was quickly over. He left the army without any obvious reasons and began working as a military journalist in newspapers such as Krasnaya Zvezda and Rossiyskaya Gazeta, which published articles by Igor, written by him from almost all the hot spots of the country. The journalist did not escape the first Chechen war of 1994-1996. It was then that he gained first fame thanks to his publications.
Igor himself described those years as follows:
In general, I have a bad attitude towards journalists who work in the war, a certain part of them. Because here it is very difficult to answer the question of what you are doing there and why. Because, in essence, you make a name and money from the death and death of people. This is a contradiction that I could not resolve for myself...
Son of Igor Petrenko - Korney Igorevich Petrenko
The son of Igor Petrenko, Matvey Igorevich Petrenko, was born in the actor’s second marriage to the famous and very beautiful actress Ekaterina Klimova. By the way, the couple got married on December 31, 2005.
And then she left for Thailand, where, in accordance with local traditions, a sacred wedding ceremony was held on the beach. And eleven months later Matvey gave birth.
It is also worth mentioning that the name was not chosen at random. At that time, Igor was filming a film. And the main character in this film was called Matvey. Klimova really liked this name, which is why it was chosen for their son.
Two years after their son was born, Katerina again pleased her husband with another child, who also turned out to be a boy. There is one interesting fact associated with it.
The son of Igor Petrenko, Korney Igorevich Petrenko, could not get his name for two whole months after birth. As the father himself claimed, they were able to decide on the name of their first son even before he was born, but this did not work out with the second child.
However, the baby was not named after Korney Chukovsky, as you might think. The thought was spontaneous. The artist once remembered his grandfather, whose last name was Kornev.
Career
A few years later, Igor Prokopenko got a job as a television observer of political and military news. At that time, he could already be easily seen on such major channels as ORT, RTR and NTV, where he participated in such programs as “Vremya”, “Vesti” and “Segodnya”.
In 1995, when the journalist was only 30 years old, he inexplicably reached the level of a military expert. A man who understood combat tactics, strategy and military technology with ease and professionalism.
At the same time, his first documentary film “Brooch on a Braid” was released on ORT and was positively assessed by critics, after which the popularity of the future sensational star grew rapidly. Soon he was already invited to host such programs as “Oath” on RTR and “Military Secret” on REN TV.
The young and purposeful journalist did not miss a single interesting topic. Whether it was political, historical, military or even medical, Igor made a documentary about it. This is how a series of documentary investigations appeared, covering the problem of terrorism, victory in the Great Patriotic War, the collapse of the Soviet Union, and even a film about space and the Mir orbital station.
Thus began, one might say, an entire era.
The era of hypotheses, secrets and misconceptions.
The era of Igor Prokopenko.
Igor Petrenko's ex-wife - Ekaterina Klimova
Petrenko married Irina Leonova at the beginning of the 2000s, shortly after they graduated from Sliver. It’s strange, but almost from the very beginning, the family relationship of the seemingly happy couple somehow didn’t work out.
They quarreled regularly, and at some point rumors even began to arise about Igor’s infidelities. Their marriage lasted four years and during this time they did not have children.
Igor Petrenko’s ex-wife, Irina Leonova, gained fame thanks to her leading role in the theatrical production “Woe from Wit.”
Actress Ekaterina Klimova was born in the winter of 1978 in Moscow. The actress’s family cannot be called prosperous. Her mother raised her and her older sister Victoria alone on an accountant's salary, while the girls' father was in prison.
According to Catherine, her sister has always been both a mentor and her best friend. She entered the drama school by chance. Having gone with her classmates to a random competition, she was the only one of all who was able to pass the audition. And as a result, I graduated with excellent grades.
The girl’s personal life was not as successful as her studies. Her first two attempts to start a family failed. But she was able to give birth to three beautiful children. Daughter - Lisa and sons - Matvey and Korney.
Igor Petrenko’s ex-wife, Ekaterina Klimova, always spoke well of Igor.
Igor Petrenko’s wife, Kristina Brodskaya, is a young and successful actress with great prospects. Now she is 27 and the difference with her husband is as much as thirteen years.
Thanks to her beauty and charm, she has been compared more than once to such famous foreign actresses as Natalie Portman or Keira Knightley. The girl continues the acting dynasty.
She loves to sing, was an excellent student at school and is a real pride for her parents. While still a student, she was able to get her first role in the film “My Dear Man.”
And she was able to get the main role in the film “A Matter of Honor”. Christina's game received many positive reviews. Brodskaya met Igor in 2012 during a regular filming, but she married him only four years later.

How can you doubt what this man says, looking intently at you, the viewer, from the TV screen and confidentially, as if in confidence, telling some secret not to just anyone, but to you, thereby as if initiating you into some order? the chosen ones?..
It is no wonder that in our time one can often hear a joke that the general director of the REN TV channel, based on the mystical message, the number of transcendental secrets and hypotheses broadcast, can only be an alien.
A journalist is not a scientist. A journalist only extrapolates the knowledge he has. He has the right to interpret this knowledge. There is less demand for a journalist than for a scientist. Therefore, a journalist has the right to manipulate information, because there is no solid knowledge and understanding in this area...
Of course, when they talk about Igor, you most often hear skepticism and pragmatism.
But, no matter what they say about him, the popularity and fame of this man can only be envied.
Height, weight, age. How old is Igor Petrenko
This is an actor who attracted the attention of television viewers literally from his very first roles.
He created a real sensation on television and aroused real admiration for his modest persona. Therefore, it is not surprising that fans want to know as much as possible about this person, therefore they even strive to find out his height, weight, age.

Personal life
On the pages of Igor Prokopenko’s social networks you will not see any photographs from the family archive or even the slightest information about his relatives and friends.
As already mentioned, Prokopenko is a rather secretive person, especially when it comes to his family. It costs nothing to find out about his new projects or work plans, but his personal life, as before, remains out of public access.
For many years now, Igor has been married to Oksana Barkovskaya, who also works on television. Both are married for the second time, but judging by the number of years spent together, their union is successful.

They met on REN TV. Igor is 10 years older than Oksana, and has known her almost since childhood, since he was friends with the older brother of his future wife. Oksana admits that despite the age difference and Igor’s outward composure, their relationship is truly full of Italian temperament.
The couple are raising a daughter and son. Igor Prokopenko also has an adult daughter from his first marriage, who works with him on television.

Igor and Oksana love active recreation. Skiing, skating, hiking and playing the guitar in the evening around the fire is their common passion.
I work in television and it would be strange if I relaxed in front of the TV. I have other ways to relax. I love cinema, Tarkovsky, Visconti, Antonioni and Karvay. I watch their films many times, I watch them from anywhere, they relax me...

How do bone metastases manifest and how to treat them?
If the patient has osteoblastic damage, then the effect of using bisphosphonates or denosumab drugs will be extremely small. If the damage is mixed, then the effect will be exactly as much as, in percentage terms, they are osteoclastic in nature. Such damage is treated with radiation therapy and radiopharmaceuticals.
This is precisely the reason that some patients, having spent a lot of money on these drugs, are disappointed in them. Therefore, on forums you can find negative reviews about bisphosphonates and denosumab-based drugs.
This is another reason why there is no need to self-medicate in oncology. Money will be spent, but there will be no result.
One of the complications of cancer is metastasis, which can spread to soft tissues and distant organs.
Metastasis also occurs in the bones. In fact, bone metastases are secondary cancerous tumors of bone tissue, formed as a result of the transfer of atypical cells from the main focus through the blood and lymph flow.
Typically, bone metastases occur in the last stages of cancer pathology. Moreover, about 80% of cases of bone metastasis occur against the background of mammary glandular and prostatic cancer. Such formations manifest themselves with severe pain, frequent fractures and hypercalcemia.
Treatment affects bone metastases and prognosis. in particular. The primary focus is on improving the patient's quality of life.
Therapeutic measures include:
- The use of bisphosphonates (Pamidronate, Zoledronate, Clodronate). They slow down the abnormal destruction of bone tissue and the emergence of new formations. Typically administered intravenously every 3-4 weeks. Denosumab is sometimes recommended instead of bisphosphonates.
- Radiation therapy and radiopharmaceuticals affect metastases with different types of radiation. In the first case, this is a high-energy ionizing effect, which involves 10 procedures over 14 days. In the second, the radioactive substance strontium-89 or samarium-153 is injected into the veins. Effective in situations where many organs and systems are affected.
- Chemotherapy and hormonal treatment are determined by the specific type of primary formation or hormone-dependent tumors. The goal of the methods is to control tumor growth and reduce unpleasant symptoms.
- Immunotherapy is based on the use of immune system proteins aimed at destroying cancer cells and strengthening the body's defenses.
- Surgery is only appropriate to prevent or manage bone fractures. Surgery may consist of tumor removal or stabilization/strengthening of the bone structure.
