After graduating from the Kyiv University of Culture and Arts, she received a master's degree in theater arts.
In 2013, she applied to participate in the “I want to join VIA Gro” competition, where a new group was recruited. The girl successfully completed all rounds and as a result, her trio took second place.
Having not received the coveted prize - participation in a successful team, the beauty was upset, but did not give up. She continued to play music, began to pay more attention to her social networks, and even got involved in charity work - helping orphans and trying to draw more attention to the problems of people living with HIV.
In the fall of 2020, luck finally smiled on the girl - the producer of the popular group “Fabrika” Igor Matvienko invited her to become one of the soloists of his group.

The girl knew what a loss it was for the family, and tried to study well in order to prove to her family that their efforts were not in vain. And she succeeded. First, the gifted student was transferred from a paid department to a budget one. And in 2006 she took first prize at the All-Ukrainian music competition. Boris Gmyry.
In 2009, after graduating from music school, Goncharuk went to Kyiv, where she received higher education. By profession, Maria is a director of variety shows and public events.
The path to popularity
Not knowing where to move next, the beauty decided to try her hand at modeling. In 2012, she was lucky enough to work as a model at Ukrainian Fashion Week, a significant fashion event held every year in the Ukrainian capital. Representatives of modeling agencies noticed the bright blonde and offered cooperation. Goncharuk starred in several photo shoots, and then took part in two beauty contests - “Blonde of Ukraine” and “Miss Ukraine”. Based on the results of both competitions, Maria received the title of second runner-up.
Perhaps the beauty would have continued her modeling career if she had not heard about recruitment into a female pop group led by the talented Konstantin Meladze . Without thinking twice, she sent an application to participate in the competition and successfully passed all the qualifying rounds. Beautiful and talented, she quickly fell in love with the audience and even became the favorite of one of the jury members, Igor Vernik. But this did not help her join the legendary VIA Gra.
First success
In 2014, Maria, along with another finalist of the show, Diana Ivanitskaya-Shorikova, became a member of the Ukrainian pop group “DINAMA”. There were rumors that, having become disillusioned with show business, the girls were producing themselves. In fact, the project manager was Oleg Nekrasov, the owner of the music production center Soroka Music. It seemed to the girls that they had finally caught their luck by the tail. The duo recorded songs, filmed videos, and gave concerts. An army of fans appeared, they began to be recognized on the street and asked for autographs.
In 2020, Ivanitskaya and Goncharuk gave an interview to the JL Production project, which became an indicator of the group’s success.
But there are more and more spectacular and singing girls in Ukrainian show business every day. As a result, unable to withstand the competition, the DINAMA group ceased to exist in 2017.
The present
In October 2020, Goncharuk became one of the soloists of the Factory group, replacing Alexandra Savelyeva, who went on maternity leave. For the first time in the updated composition, the trio performed at the Kremlin Palace at the birthday of the Muz-TV channel. A few months later, the group presented their new video clip, “Young Mom.”
Maria continues to actively maintain her Instagram, where she shares personal photos with subscribers, and also shows behind the scenes of show business.
Music
In addition to his musical gift, Goncharuk also has an attractive appearance. The desire to achieve recognition among a wide audience pushed her to participate in fashion shows at UFW in 2012 (as a model). A year later, she became the second vice-miss of “Blonde of Ukraine”, and then the second vice-miss of Ukraine.
Almost immediately, the project “I Want V VIA Gro” appeared in Maria’s biography. This is an international music reality show, where Konstantin Meladze planned to select 3 girls to create a new group. In the first 3 issues, castings were held in Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Goncharuk got into the program from Ukraine, the girl heard the cherished “yes” from Meladze and moved on to the next round.
In the 4th episode, the participants had to learn a dance routine together with a choreographer in 20 minutes. Meladze observed the process and, following the results of the competition, said goodbye to 21 artists. Goncharuk learned the dance together with two other Ukrainians - Yulia Lauta and Olga Khareba.

For the next round, “Struggle for Mentors,” Meladze divided the participants into groups of 3 people, and they independently chose songs. Then they had to perform in front of their mentors - all of them accomplished artists. Goncharuk, together with Diana Ivanitskaya and Ekaterina Prigoda, performed the 2000s hit “I’m crazy” by the group “TATU”. The girls were chosen by Alena Vinnitskaya. Even then, Prigoda dropped out of the competition due to health problems, so the girls had to sing a duet, they got to the next stage, where Yulia Lauta joined the artists. Together they performed the track “Don’t Leave Me, Darling!” to the accompaniment of Konstantin Meladze.

The singer was upset by the loss, but did not give up. The team existed for 3 years, Masha and Diana managed to record the tracks “Abnormal”, “This”, “Forward”, “Waiting” and a number of other compositions. By decision of the producers, the group ceased to exist; the girls spoke about this in an interview. Both started solo projects. So far, Goncharuk has not achieved great achievements in the musical field, but her fans hope that the artist’s talent will not be in vain and she will still be able to realize herself.
Personal life with Khrustalev
For a long time, the singer’s personal life was a sealed secret. But in 2020, rumors spread that Maria was having an affair with actor and TV presenter Dmitry Khrustalev. It was finally possible to verify the veracity of these words in the summer of 2020: one of the Moscow registry offices admitted that on July 22 the couple was legally married. The newlyweds decided not to organize a magnificent celebration and immediately after the painting went on their honeymoon.
Upon arrival, the newly formed Khrustalev family shared the happy news by posting on Instagram. Maria even opened up to her subscribers and admitted that Dmitry Khrustalev proposed marriage in a romantic setting in Sri Lanka.
Childhood and youth of Igor Vernik
Russian actor and popular presenter Igor Vernik was born into an intelligent family in the capital. His father, Emil Vernik, People's Artist of Russia, was a director at the All-Union Radio for a long time, and his mother, Anna Vernik, worked as a teacher at a children's music school. When Igor grew up, he himself studied at this educational institution. The boy turned out to be gifted, inheriting artistry from his father and musicality from his mother. He successfully completed seven classes at the famous music school No. 1 named after Prokofiev, and became a real young pianist. In addition, Igor loved to sing since childhood and was very upset when he was not accepted into the children's choir of the Bolshoi Theater - he simply did not fit in age. Perhaps it was this unfortunate defeat of his childhood that influenced Igor’s serious attitude before entering university after school.
Igor Vernik was born in Moscow
After finishing 10th grade, the ambitious young man did not choose one university. He submitted documents simultaneously to three places - the Shchepkinsky School, GITIS, and the Moscow Art Theater School. And I successfully entered everything! With such a wide choice, Igor settled on the Moscow Art Theater. Igor did not waste time during his studies - he immediately began to play, first at the student level, and later grew to the level of the main staff of the Moscow Art Theater. The eminent teachers liked his graduation work so much that the talented young man was invited to work at the Moscow Art Theater right after graduation - one of all the graduates of his course.
