Actor Sergei Godin was born in Moscow, into a simple family, in no way connected with the theater stage.
Since childhood, he was fond of sports, especially boxing and judo. Another passion was the sky, but he did not become a pilot, but in his teenage years he jumped with a parachute several times. Despite all his hobbies, he had a youth dream - to become an actor. His parents supported the teenager’s aspirations, helped him prepare for admission, and instilled in him a love of classical literature. Thanks to the support of those closest to him, Sergei Godin, whose biography is now interesting to millions of fans, was able to enter GITIS the first time. He graduated from it in 2007, after which the doors were immediately opened for him in all the capital’s theaters. The fact is that the graduation performance of this year’s course thundered throughout Moscow, it was even awarded the “Golden Leaf” award.
However, the actor chose a different path. He decided to get a second higher education in order to be better than other graduates. He entered the Moscow Art Theater School and studied the acting profession for another 4 years under the guidance of Roman Kozak and Dmitry Brusnikin.

His first role was an appearance in the TV series “Soldiers” in 2004, but the episode was so small that it was not listed in the credits.
