Sergey Romanovich in 2020
In 2006, Romanovich became a participant in the G8 youth summit (Russia channel). He completed three very difficult rounds, and even his poor knowledge of English did not hinder him.
Sergei’s parents gave him the opportunity to choose his profession, and when he told his family that he wanted to enter a theater university, they supported him. In 2010, immediately after graduating from school, the guy entered VGIK on the course of Igor Yasulovich.
First steps to glory
After participating in the J8 summit, Sergei was shown on all federal channels. This led to the fact that in one day he turned from an unknown young Tomsk into an all-Russian celebrity.
This is interesting!
The sudden fame that fell on the 14-year-old boy contributed to his acquaintance with the head of state. On the eve of his birthday, Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin himself flew to visit him. In addition, he was lucky enough to play a chess game with the world famous grandmaster Anatoly Karpov.
But perhaps the most significant event was that he was invited to play the role of Yuri Shatunov in the biographical film “Tender May.”
Sergei Romanovich as Yuri Shatunov in the biopic “Tender May”
From a fairly large number of applicants, Vladimir Vinogradov chose Sergei Romanovich, perhaps because the director was advised to pay attention to him by Alexey Vladimirovich Vorobyov, who met the young man from Tomsk at the Big Eight project. Alexey himself was also supposed to participate in this biographical film in the role of Andrei Razin, but he had to refuse this offer, since at that moment he was involved in the filming of the serial film “Scythian Gold”.
Despite the almost complete lack of external resemblance to his character, Sergei, who dreamed of becoming an actor since the 4th grade, showed the skill of impersonation. After participating in the biopic, the teenager’s acting abilities became obvious to everyone who watched the film. It is not surprising that, after graduating from high school in 2010, the young man decided to continue his studies at a theater university. After 4 years of studying at the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography on the course of People's Artist Igor Yasulovich, Sergei Romanovich received a diploma.
Movies
Sergei’s cinematic biography began in 2008 in the film “Tender May” directed by Vladimir Vinogradov. This film immediately made the young actor famous. The guy got the role almost by accident. His candidacy was suggested to the creators of the film by Alexei Vorobyov, whom Sergei met at G8 events.
Later, the actor appeared in the series “The Life and Adventures of Mishka “Jap”” in the image of Berchik, an Odessa thief. In 2009, he played the role of the main character's son in the TV series Prison Break, which is a remake of the American TV series Prison Break.
In 2014, Romanovich was offered a role in the TNT series “Chernobyl. Exclusion Zone". He reincarnated as an aggressive guy named Alexey, who grew up on the streets. This whole story started because of his character. A lot of money is stolen from his friend, and he and several guys decide to go to Chernobyl, where the mysticism of the abandoned city awaits them. The next season of the rating project with the participation of Sergei started 3 years later. It was shown on TV-3 channel.

Sergei Romanovich before the beard transplant
A year later, the young performer’s filmography was supplemented by another leading role in the drama “The Box” about the confrontation between two amateur football teams. Later, the actor appeared in the top-rated detective story “Method”, transforming himself into a parkour athlete. In 2020, Sergei played a minor role in the disaster film “Crew” starring Danila Kozlovsky.
Later, another bright premiere took place in the artist’s film career - the screening of the series “Olga”. Romanovich played Andrei, the boyfriend of Anya, the daughter of the main character. The role of a young boyfriend for a teenage girl went to the performer largely due to external parameters. The actor himself has long since left adolescence, but due to his short stature he looks young (height 165 cm, weight 70 kg).

Sergei Romanovich with a beard
The film won recognition from television viewers from the first episodes, and the leading actors Yana Troyanova, Alina Alekseeva, Ksenia Surkova, Vasily Kortukov and Sergei Romanovich woke up famous. The actor later appeared in the 2nd and 4th seasons of the film.
In 2020, Romanovich starred in the fantasy drama Debtor's Shack. This is a film by Alexander Kott, based on the work of Vadim Shefner. The main character Pavel (Pavel Derevyanko) gets the opportunity to travel back to the past from the distant future.
Professional career
The beginning of the creative biography of Sergei Romanovich is considered to be the dramatic role of the son of the main character in the series “Escape” (2010). In an interview, he admitted that the most difficult scenes for him were those where he needed to cry, but it was not difficult for him to cope with complex stunts.
Sergei Romanovich in the serial drama “Escape”
After filming the series “Escape” and “The Life and Adventures of Mishka,” where he had to play the role of the Odessa thief Berchik, Sergei becomes a youth idol.
But real popularity came to him after he quite realistically recreated the image of an aggressive young man named Lyokha, brought up in a hive, in the series about the Ukrainian dead city “Chernobyl. Exclusion Zone".
This is interesting!
At the age of 20, a crisis occurred in the work of Sergei Romanovich. Film critics attribute this to the fact that he unexpectedly converted to Islam.
From then on, he began to be especially careful when choosing roles. More than once he refused roles if the filming involved participation in intimate scenes.
In 2020, one of the brightest events in Russian cinema was the film “Crew”. The main role in it went to Danil Kozlovsky. Romanovich played the minor role of the son of crew commander Zinchenko.
As part of the main characters, Sergei appeared in the comedy serial “Ol-ga”. According to the website “Kino-teatr.ru”, a number of Russian journalists named this television film the most popular TV series of the year.
The actor is currently working on a role in the sci-fi tale Debtor's Shack. This is a dramatic film about aliens from outer space conducting experiments on our planet to increase life expectancy.
Personal life
At the age of 20, Sergei Romanovich converted to Islam. His parents at first thought that he had fallen into a sect and blamed his Chechen friend for everything. Over time, Irina and Vladimir Romanovich came to terms. After this event, a crisis occurred in Sergei’s film career; the actor began to choose projects more carefully, for example, he refused roles in which there were supposed to be kisses. At some point, he even had to leave for Tomsk, where he lived on his wife’s money.

The actor was married. His wife Alexandra Golovkova worked as a web designer. Since Alexandra is also a Muslim, they had a nickname according to all religious rules, and then they got married in Tomsk. The couple appeared everywhere in traditional clothes, as evidenced by numerous photos of the spouses in the media.
However, neither strict faith, nor religious rituals, nor a serious attitude towards the wedding were able to protect this relationship. The couple separated in 2020. Fans did not want to believe in the changes in the idol’s personal life, but some of the media claimed that the divorce had taken place. Reporters cited the actor’s affair with his colleague Lelya Baranova as the reason for the separation from his wife, but the artists themselves refrained from commenting.
Family and children of Sergei Romanovich
Sergei was born into an ordinary family. His parents Vladimir and Svetlana never interfered with their son’s desire to become an actor, although they were often upset by their son’s poor grades and absenteeism. As Sergei himself says, he was far from an ideal child: he often committed pranks and even sometimes hid from his father’s belt. “I always did everything in defiance,” says Romanovich about his teenage years.
However, despite his stubborn character, Sergei’s family is proud and supportive of him. A serious test for the actor’s relatives, undoubtedly, was his decision to change his faith, but after a while the conflict was settled and warm relations were re-established between Sergei and his parents. Romanovich himself, after his divorce from Alexandra Golovkova, does not yet plan to start a family.
Sergei Romanovich now
In 2020, it became known that Sergei Romanovich was leaving cinema. The reason for this was his religious beliefs. In addition, the actor has repeatedly admitted that filming exhausts a person, making him unable to be happy in ordinary life.
In order to meet his ideas about male beauty, Sergei decided to undergo a beard transplant operation. Since childhood, the guy saw himself as bearded, but the hair on his face never grew. When the chance to fulfill his dream arose, Romanovich took it. The back of the head became the donor area. From there, 4 thousand hair follicles were transferred to the cheeks and chin. The operation lasted 12 hours. The actor told subscribers of his YouTube channel about this event.

Sergey Romanovich in 2020

In 2020, the artist presented the documentary film “Mom. 150 children”, for the filming of which he visited Kyrgyzstan. The picture impressed Sergei's fans, he received many positive responses.
Now the artist is developing business in Turkey. In Istanbul, Romanovich, together with a friend, opened his own production and registered a trademark. He is going to write a book, for which he has signed a contract with a Turkish publishing house. The guy reported this from his personal Instagram page.
Romanovich plans to finally end his film career in 2020. The last season of the series “Chernobyl” started in the fall. Exclusion Zone. The final". For fans of “Olga,” Sergei also promised to appear briefly in the new season of the project.

Serezha was born in the glorious city of Tomsk into a completely ordinary family . Fans know that he has a younger brother. From early childhood, the boy was distinguished by his artistry, cheerful character and remarkable determination.
Already while studying at school, Sergei participated in performances of the Cheerful and Resourceful Club, and appeared on stage at various events.
Romanovich did not pass by all kinds of clubs - he was involved in football and karate, swimming and break dancing, and also sang in a serious choral studio and attended a theater club.
The first serious achievement in the life of the future actor was participation in the G8 youth summit , which took place in 2006 under the auspices of the Russia channel.
The essence of the event was that the organizers gathered eight schoolchildren aged 13 to 17 years from each G8 member country and invited them to discuss the problems of HIV, extremism and drug addiction. Despite the fact that Sergey spoke English rather poorly, he coped with the task brilliantly and showed himself to be a very active and interesting teenager.
In 2008, Romanovich came to the set for the first time. The young man’s debut film was “Tender May,” an autobiographical story of the cult group of the early nineties. In the film, Sergei played the lead singer of the group, Yura Shatunov.
An important point is that this lucky ticket came to the young man thanks to Alexei Vorobyov. They met at the summit described above and became friends.
Alexey was invited to one of the roles in this film, and when he found out that among the huge number of young men throughout the country, the director could not find a boy for the main role, he offered him Romanovich.
He was hastily summoned from Tomsk and successfully approved. Then Romanovich appeared on screen as an Odessa thief in the film “The Life and Adventures of Mishka Yaponchik,” and in 2009 he received a role in the TV series “Escape.” After success in big and not so big cinema, Sergei set his priorities and decided to become an actor.
It should be noted that, unlike most parents, Romanovich’s father and mother did not put pressure on their son when choosing a profession, so the guy was easily able to fulfill his dream - to direct his way to a theater university.
His choice fell on VGIK, where he easily entered in 2010 . While studying, the young man continued to act in films, so in 2012 he appeared in the TV series “Kitchen”. In 2014, Romanovich successfully graduated from VGIK and entered adulthood.
A very important point in Romanovich’s biography that cannot be missed is the adoption of Islam in 2010. Yes, yes, this absolutely Slavic-looking young man accepted an absolutely Eastern religion.
Sergei does not talk about the reasons for such an act, but he takes religion very seriously. To please her, he even began to be more careful in choosing roles. For example, now he doesn’t act in scenes where he needs to... kiss.
Despite all his principles, in 2013 the young man registered his own channel on YouTube! His videos are stories about his life, acting career, and answers to fan questions.
Quite a lot is known about the actor’s personal life . He has been married for several years, his wife’s name is Alexandra Golovkova, she is a web designer.
The girl is also a Muslim and their marriage was concluded not only according to earthly laws, but also according to the laws of God. Sergei admits that at first family life scared him and even stressed him out.
But over time, the young man felt the beauty of such adult relationships. By the way, both spouses take their religion equally seriously, including Alexandra who always covers her head with the scarf she is assigned.
They later divorced.
Interesting fact - one of Sergei’s most important life goals is to win an Oscar! Moreover, the actor even came up with an idea for the film for which he could get it.
Sergei Romanovich explained why he converted to Islam
24-year-old Sergei Romanovich, known for the films “Crew” and “Tender May,” told Sobesednik.ru about accepting Islam
He was born and raised in Tomsk, four years ago, unexpectedly for everyone, a Russian guy who had never parted with the icon of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker converted to Islam. Now he performs namaz five times a day, forbids his partners on the set to touch his body, and doubles are filmed instead of him in explicit scenes.
His mother is a psychologist, his father is a private entrepreneur, and his older brother is a financier. All are Orthodox, and the hero of our publication himself was baptized.
“Before, I never parted with the icon of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, I asked him for everything,” Sergei confesses. – At the age of 17, I went to church to the priest with the following question: “There is the second commandment in the Bible, which says: do not create for yourself an idol or any image of it. How then do we pray to icons?!” He began to explain it to me in a very confusing way, then said that these were guides. I am a maximalist in life and believed that if it was written like this, then it couldn’t be any other way, but regarding the conductors, this is just his opinion. This is how an internal conflict matured in me, I stopped going to church, praying to icons, I decided that God is in the soul, and religion was created in order to control the masses.
When I was already studying in Moscow, at VGIK, I came home to Tomsk for New Year, I was then 20 years old. I came to visit my best friend Shamil, he is a Chechen, but at that moment he did not yet observe all the pillars of religion, did not read namaz. We started arguing with his older brother about religions, yelling at each other for probably five hours. Then I became interested, I bought the Koran and the Bible to consult. I threw myself into it headlong and a month later converted to Islam. Sitting in Shamil’s kitchen, he said with faith in his heart: “I testify that there is no god except one and only god worthy of worship. Muhammad is his prophet." Now I read prayer 5 times a day, Ramadan recently ended, I kept it up: I didn’t eat or drink anything until sunset.
– Why do you think people from different countries are now joining the organization ISIS, banned in the Russian Federation?
– In my opinion, this organization was created by the special services in order to denigrate Islam in every possible way, to make it a common enemy, a scapegoat. People end up there out of ignorance and ignorance. In general, what the ISIS members are doing is, in principle, contrary to all the pillars of our religion: suicide, blowing up people.
– You recently received the title of Honored Artist of Dagestan, is this related to your religion?
- Of course not! In Dagestan there was a premiere of the film “The Box”, where I played the main role, and the President of the Republic Ramazan Abdulatipov came to the screening. The film was received there with a bang, people gave a standing ovation, the president really liked the film, so he gave the title of Honored Artist to me and another leading actor, Kirill Degtyar.
– What does this title give?
- I don't know yet! But it would be nice if they provided an apartment in Dagestan, as Ramzan Kadyrov does in Chechnya. All that remains is to become a People's Artist of the Chechen Republic.
– Would you like to meet Kadyrov personally?
- Yes! My friend Shamil and I at one time wanted to develop a project to motivate Chechen youth for self-development and conduct trainings with them. After all, in this republic young guys mainly engage in martial arts and nothing else, there are a lot of hooligans there. Shamil and I found a place in the mountains where we could set up a camp and conduct training there. But without the support of the government of the republic, this matter did not work out for us. Now Shamil has gone to Chechnya to look for a bride, his mother wants him to find a wife there.

Conversion to Islam and first marriage
At the age of 20, Sergei decided to change his faith by converting to Islam. This was facilitated by his communication with a Chechen friend, whom the actor’s parents initially accused of luring their son into some kind of sect. Then they accepted his choice, seeing that nothing bad was happening. It is not surprising that the future wife was also a Muslim. Alexandra had nothing to do with the acting world and was engaged in design work. First, the lovers performed a religious ceremony, and then officially married in Romanovich’s hometown. However, he soon realized that he was in a hurry with family life, since he had never had to take care of someone and adapt to someone.
In 2020, this marriage broke up and no children appeared. After his divorce from his ex-wife, the actor stopped commenting on events in his personal life. Therefore, when joint photos with Olga (Lelya) Baranova appeared on his page, many decided that this was his new girlfriend.
This is what our Muslim brother Sergei Romanovich “Actor” writes
And I think that everyone, one way or another, has encountered this. I’ll tell you about one such encounter that happened to me personally. It was a blessed Friday and I was going to juma at the only Mosque in Moscow in which I felt truly comfortable. And not because I’m so picky, but because when the Imam finished reading Al-Fatiha, then for another five seconds my ears were ringing from a powerful and real “Ammm-iii-nnn”! Unfortunately, I didn’t see this in other Mosques :) And in general, I didn’t see much good there.
So, when I was still going to the Avenue of Peace, after Asr, the Imam began to give a lecture “Good and bad innovations in Islam.” I couldn’t listen to this normally and at the end of his lecture I decided to ask him a question: “How is this possible when Allah Himself said in the Koran that he had completed and perfected his religion?” What his face expressed at that moment can hardly be called NUR. His best students hastened to shut me up, saying that you don’t know when he was sent, but this is all nonsense, and the Imam generally said: “Here! This is what it means when you don’t have reason.”
SubhnaAllahu (Allah is Most Pure), what I felt in my chest then is beyond words. But then I didn’t yet know that this was a normal situation and that it was practically everywhere. You already understand this now and see the situation around you. But this also has its advantages - I was so angry with them that I re-read several books about bid'a, saved the data on my phone and then, like a wolf, came to this Mosque to repeat this duel. Laughter and sin, in general :)
But let’s return to my story: so, it means that I was already approaching this mosque by tram and noticed that there were several police buses standing nearby, and there were riot police with machine guns everywhere on the street. I thought that if I didn’t go out and go there now, I would feel like a coward - so, as if nothing had happened, I approached a guy with a machine gun and asked: “What’s going on? Is the mosque closed?
Looking at me like I was an idiot, he tried to drive me away, but before I could take two or three steps, their leader noticed me. It was not difficult to recognize him: he was in civilian clothes, and he had a potbelly - you can see people like that right away. Calling me over, he asked: “Russian? Muslim? How long ago did you accept Islam? Follow me. And don’t even try to pull, otherwise they’ll immediately put a bullet in your leg.” Yes, actually, I didn’t even think, I came myself, why should I run away? So, they put me on the bus, which after about 30 minutes was packed with brothers, and they took us to the department.
They took away about 300 people that day, without allowing anyone to read Juma. No, to wait and then organize this whole circus. They decided to act differently, on principle, showing all their true essence. They took us to different departments in Moscow. As a result, we performed half of the prayers right on the bus, and read Maghrib in the cell. This epic lasted about 9 hours. We sat on the bus for three hours, then we were taken for interrogation to guys from the special services, who advised me not to go to this Mosque, since they recruit there and terrorists generally come from there. Well, then, until about 10 o’clock, we sat in the cell - a large and friendly company :)
These were my best hours of communication with my brothers: we exchanged Hadiths, someone read the Koran, and we, sitting around, listened to it, the brothers made a dua for me, which is read to newlyweds, since the day before that I had Nikah, which They were all very amused, they say, poor wife :))) When I left to read Namaz, one brother lent me his jacket so that I could do Namaz on it. And when I returned to the circle and sat on the floor, the other brother lent me his shoes so that I would not sit on the bare floor. One brother actually came in slippers, and when they scooped him up, by some miracle one of the slippers disappeared and he was left practically barefoot. But they immediately helped him by lending him his socks.
The most amazing thing is that no one was indignant. Everyone behaved quietly and calmly, and there was an atmosphere of joy and brotherhood all around :) Then, some of the brothers were released 20 minutes earlier than the rest. When my turn came, leaving the cell and finding myself at the main entrance, in the reception area, I was very surprised. Those who came out earlier and those who simply came to support went to the store and bought several five-liter bottles, bread, cookies and did not let you go until you had drunk a glass of water and eaten cookies, since all this time we had been sitting without food and water.
Alhamdullahi (Praise be to Allah), I was amazed by everything. I smiled all the way home, my chest was filled with joy and understanding. And they told me about these people - terrorists, sectarians, recruiters? But they all do not understand one thing - a diamond that has fallen into the mud remains a diamond. And I didn't say that.

Sergei Romanovich's wife - Alexandra Golovkova
Sergei and Alexandra got married when they were both twenty-five years old, and together they decided to become Muslims. Unfortunately, the marriage of the young people did not last long, but the girl never took off her hijab. On the contrary, I learned to present it in an interesting and original way on the pages of my Instagram. Now the girl can be called almost the most popular Muslim woman in Russia. Almost half a million people have subscribed to her account, and the point is not that Alexandra is Sergei Romanovich’s ex-girlfriend.
Alexandra herself is a web designer by profession and leads an active social life, travels a lot and looks great. In addition, the girl has an online store where she sells long skirts. Despite her strict religion, Sasha does not hesitate to open up to people around her and share moments from her life with the whole world, without deviating from the canons of Islam.
Now the subject of special attention for Sergei is Lelya Baranova, an aspiring actress and model. Despite the fact that young people often appear in public together, rumors about their relationship have not yet been officially confirmed.
How did a celebrity's career develop?
Sergei’s film debut took place at the age of 16, when he played the main role in the film “Tender May”. This role was a direct hit on target. After her, Romanovich began to be invited to new projects.
For six years, Sergei constantly appeared in various films and TV series. The young actor’s good performance did not go unnoticed, but did not bring much success. Everything changed when he appeared in the science fiction project “Chernobyl. Exclusion Zone". The role of an eccentric and cocky young man brought Sergei the desired popularity.
Two years later, Romanovich’s career experienced another serious takeoff. He was invited to play the main role in the comedy project Olga. The third season of this popular series was released last year.
