His grandmother Zinaida Vasilievna Kalmykova (ur. As a child, although he did not study very diligently at school No. 3 in Lytkarino[4], he read, drew, and was interested in the group “The Beatles”. According to the singer, they encouraged him to take up music. As a vocalist, he performed in a musical ensemble (rehearsed at the MIR cultural center in Lytkarino) of the Lyubertsy Palace of Culture (Lyubertsy, Moscow region). In 1978-1980, Rastorguev was the vocalist of the VIA “Six Young” together with Valery Kipelov, the future vocalist of “Aria”.
