[edit] Biography
Born on June 8, 1991 in Samara, for some time he performed under the nickname Igor Lowrydr. Dating Diana Manakhova. According to his interview, he has two higher education degrees in global economics, finance and credit. Having received his education, Igor, in parallel with concert tours and writing music under the stage name “Big Russian boss”, worked for a year in a bank, which was later deprived of its license. At the moment, the artist is in no hurry to look for new work, touring the country and delighting fans with new material.
In 2010, Lowrydr tries to get into the local rap group Guilty Splash, which does not accept him.
At the end of 2012, Lowrydr and SlippahNeSpi decided to radically change the style of their music and came up with new nicknames that have stuck with them to this day: Big Russian Boss and Young P&H.
In 2020, he held a new issue +100500.
Creation
“Big Russian Boss” is not only Lavrov, but also his colleague Pimp - Stas Konchenkov (Young P&H). The colleagues met in high school. Their first songs together could only be heard by friends, but when one of their compositions became publicly available, the very next day phrases from it began to flash on Twitter.
It was then that Igor and Stas, who had previously performed under the names Lowrydr and SlippahNeSpi, chose bright pseudonyms and began to actively work on the development of their team. It is worth noting that the image of the soloist is a parody of American gangster hip-hop. Igor looked at the appearance of the future thunderstorm of the rap scene from the American hip-hop artist Rick Ross: a colored fur coat, massive chains and rings, a lush black beard, dark glasses and a semblance of an Arab keffiyeh (scarf on the head), secured with a crown with “precious” stones.
The musician borrowed the image of performing his songs from American rapper Lil Jon. The following legend was invented: Big Russian Boss - a brutal boor and bad guy from Miami, surrounded by the attention of beauties, wasting money and using expensive drugs.
In a new look, Big Russian Boss and Young P&H began to conquer Russian show business. It all started with congratulations from the viewers of the program “MozgoYo!” Happy New Year, continued with the “BDSM” mixtape, and soon (in 2013) the album from the Boss and the Hustle Hard Flava movement, “Word of God,” was released. The genre in which this album was created was designated as “Christian rap.”
The promotion of the group at first took place in the “MDK” community on VKontakte, but subsequently the fame of the group spread beyond the rap community. About a year after the first concerts and the release of the album, information about the unusual rapper spread throughout the RuNet. At the same time, the musician released his second album “In Bo$$ We Trust” and recorded the single “Black Snow” with the performer Bumble Beezy.
It is noteworthy that Stas reacted to the growing popularity without much enthusiasm, while Lavrov was quite determined to promote from simple songs to full-fledged entertainment content. Nevertheless, the guys successfully released the album “IGOR”, deciphering the acronym as “International God of Rap”.
By 2020, according to the portal RAP.RU, Big Russian Boss entered the top 50 most popular domestic rap artists. The team released the next album “B.U.N.T.” and mini-album "X EP". At the end of 2020, Lavrov was invited to the Faculty of Economics of Moscow State University to give a lecture on brand promotion in the media space. Igor spoke to the students in a traditional manner.

Music
A couple of Samara rappers changed their previous creative pseudonyms Lowrydr (Lavrov) and SlippahNeSpi (Konchenkov) to the now well-known Big Russian Boss and Pimp (Young P&H). The musicians came up with images and a bright style for the new band.
Big Russian Boss and Pimp
Igor Lavrov, whose height is only 2 cm short of 2 meters, “armed himself” with a resinous false beard, adorned himself with weighty rings and chains, sunglasses with rhinestones, an acid-colored fur coat and a “golden” crown, which he placed on his head, covered with a likeness Arabic keffiyeh. The rapper “borrowed” his image from his American colleagues Rick Ross and Lil Jon, successfully playing off the external attributes and voices of popular performers.
The shockingly enchanting appearance of Big Russian Boss and the hoarse voice of a hip-hopper are a parody of American gangsta rap. The same legend about the origin was invented for the image: The Boss is a brutal bad guy and a millionaire from Miami, wasting money and surrounded by easily accessible beauties.
The image and debut tracks of the rap artist, full of sarcasm and strong expressions, quickly captivated Russian hip-hop fans. The project was promoted on the popular MDK public page, a community on VKontakte, which has millions of subscribers.
Big Russian Boss on stage
Soon Big Russian Boss broke out of the narrow circle of hip-hoppers and easily joined the domestic show business. The performer greeted rap fans with New Year's greetings in the MozgoYo! and pleased me with a BDSM mixtape.
Since then, Big Russian Boss and Pimp have been welcome guests at trap music parties. At the MOD club in St. Petersburg, the rappers gave their first solo concert, delighting fans with an incendiary show. In 2013, Big Russian Boss and the rap group Hustle Hard Flava, working in the genre of gospel rap (Christian rap), presented fans with a joint album, calling it “The Word of God.”
The following year, musicians from Samara presented their first solo album, which was given the name In Bo$$ We Trust. It included the popular tracks “Spank” and “Nightmare”. Also in 2014, the rappers and colleague Bumble Beezy recorded the song “Black Snow.”
In 2020, Big Russian Boss presented rap fans with an album with the pathetic title “IGOR”. To those who suspected Lavrov of immodesty, the musician gave a “modest” decoding: International God of Rap, which translated into Russian means “international god of rap.”
In 2016, the music portal RAP.RU entered the Samara star and his project into the top 50 most popular Russian rap artists. To celebrate, the team in the same year presented music lovers with the mini-albums “B.U.N.T.” and "X EP". The first collection included a joint track with Zest “Resurrected”, which received millions of views.
At the end of 2016, Big Russian Boss became a guest of the economics department of the country’s main university, Moscow State University, where he gave a humorous lecture to students on how to promote a brand in the modern media market. Igor Lavrov appeared in the audience together with his colleague Stas Konchenkov in the usual image of the bearded “international rap god” from Miami.
Big Russian Boss
In 2020, Big Russian Boss presented fans with a new project - the Big Russian Boss Show program, which is released on YouTube. As part of the show, Igor Lavrov arranges shocking interviews with Russian show business and sports stars, musicians and vloggers. Eldar Dzharakhov, hip-hop artist Slim, Dmitry Malikov, athlete Timofey Mozgov, the group “Serebro”, Olga Buzova visited the Samara star. By the end of 2020, 6 seasons of the project had been released.
2017 will be remembered by fans of the Samara musician for his appearance in an advertisement for hamburgers of the American restaurant chain Burger King and the video for rapper ATL “Sacred Rave.” In the same year, a joint video of the Big Russian Boss and Olga Seryabkina for the song “I Like” was released, which received millions of views.
Lavrov starred in the “Caste” video clip for the song “Skrepy”, where, besides him, rappers Basta, Tipsy Tip, Husky and vlogger from Vladikavkaz Ida Galich, who became famous for her humorous sketches on Instagram, appeared.
