Favorite Soviet actresses, what they looked like in their youth

Height, weight, age. How old is Tatyana Kravchenko

Tatyana Eduardovna Kravchenko was little known before the beginning of the new millennium. After the release of the television series “Matchmakers” on the screens of the Russian Federation and neighboring countries, a large audience became interested in the actress, like other heroes. They requested the most detailed information about the film actress, including height, weight, age, and how old Tatyana Kravchenko is.

Currently, the star of “Matchmakers” celebrated her 64th birthday. She says that the date of her death is still very far away. A woman lives in the present day, without thinking about the future.

Tatyana Kravchenko, whose photos in her youth and now are loved by her fans, weighs 72 kg with a height of 165 cm. The actress takes care of herself, but she does not follow special nutritional recommendations, believing that there should be a lot of good people.

The early years and youth of the actress

Tatyana Kravchenko was born in December 1953 in the Ukrainian city of Stalino, today Donetsk . When she was born she had two parents, however, when little Tanya was not even six months old, her father Vasily Tokarev , who was from Siberia, left this world. For the second time, the actress’s mother married Eduard Yakovlev, and it was his patronymic and surname that went to Tatyana. The girl was born into a complete family, but when she was not even six months old, her father, Siberian Vasily Tokarev, passed away. Mom married a second time to a man named Eduard Yakovlev. Being already an adult woman, Tatyana learned that Edward was not her own father.

Tatyana Kravchenko in her youth

From her earliest years, Tatyana demonstrated her bright, lively and energetic character as an artist, although no one in the family had been associated with the world of art before her. My stepfather was a simple worker and worked on an excavator, and my mother was a teacher at school. Only the mother of the future actress, Liliya Ivanovna Karlash, dreamed of becoming an actress in her youth. Lilia studied in a theater group and was the prima of the school theater, but the devastating war made its own adjustments to the fate of the young girl. Mother Tatyana still hoped that her daughter would be able to make her unfulfilled hopes come true, despite the fact that her husband was categorically against it and wanted her stepdaughter to get a serious profession.

After graduating from school, Tatyana decided to enter the university at the Faculty of Chemistry of Donetsk State University, but she was not able to become a student. A year later, in 1971, Kravchenko moved to Moscow and again tried to enter a higher educational institution, but she told her father that she was going to enter the mathematics department of Moscow State University.

Actress Kravchenko in her youth

Kravchenko entered the theater school named after M. Shchepkin on her first try. From the first time, without any additional castings or agreements, Tatyana became a student at the M. Shchepkin Theater School, even despite her clear Ukrainian accent . And a year later, she moved to the studio of Alla Tarasova, the eminent people's artist could not leave the talented girl and easily took the promising student to the Moscow Art Theater School. Tatyana Kravchenko studied at the course of great artists: Tarasova and Pavel Massalsky.

Soon the actress had to eradicate her bright Ukrainian accent. Tatyana worked hard on her speech and pronunciation, learned tongue twisters, did special exercises and simply tried to speak as much as possible with the indigenous residents of the Russian capital.

At some turning point, the actress presented her shortcoming as her main advantage. Tatyana understood that she did not like playing socialites and began performing simple village women on stage. Many critics and actors were amazed at how easily the actress managed to play such characters.

Already in 1976, the actress graduated from the Moscow Art Theater and immediately went to work at the Lenkom Theater . The head of the theater, Mark Zakharov, flatly refused to accept the young actress into his theater troupe. Having looked in more detail at her documents, the eminent master said that Soviet theaters are full of Yakovlevs, and therefore there may be confusion with this surname in the future of the actress.

One of Kravchenko's first roles

The director agreed to take her on only on one condition: that the actress change her last name. The girl remembered the names of all her friends and relatives who came to her mind. After a heated discussion, the actress and director agreed on the surname of her great-grandmother “Kravchenko”. Signing the work contract, Mark Zakharov said: “There are quite a lot of Ukrainians in our government. Therefore, it will be much easier for you to get a title with a similar surname...” Thus, Tatyana Yakovleva became Tatyana Kravchenko. And she received the title she deserved through thorns after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Biography of Tatyana Kravchenko (actress)

Tanyusha was born in the Donetsk region. Father - Vasily Dmitrievich Tokarev passed away early. Mother, Emilia Ivanovna Karlash, was left alone with a 3-month-old child in her arms. Soon she got married, her second husband adopted a girl. By chance, Tatyana found out that her beloved daddy was not her own, at the age of 10. One of the neighbors enlightened the girl on this issue. But Tanechka continued to treat Eduard Semyonovich Yakovlev as her own daddy.

Since childhood, she loved to participate in various events at school and won reading competitions. After receiving the certificate, not being able to enroll in her hometown, she set off to conquer the country’s theater universities. Without any problems, Yakovleva becomes a student at Shchepka, but after a while she transfers to the second year of the Moscow Art Theater.

Having successfully studied, she began working at Lenkom, in the troupe of Mark Zakharov. It was then that the creative biography of Tatyana Kravchenko began. The actress received advice on changing her last name from her colleague Oleg Yankovsky. Many popular Soviet artists took care of the young girl. She considers Tatyana Peltzer her theater mom.

Despite the large number of works in cinema, the woman was little known. She becomes famous after the release of “Matchmakers,” in which she embodied the image of her mother.

Early years

Tatyana Eduardovna was born in the Ukrainian city of Stalino (currently Donetsk). Maiden name: Yakovleva. Tatyana's own father died when the girl was three months old. She was raised by her stepfather along with her mother. Until the age of ten, Tatyana did not know that he was not her real father. My stepfather worked on an excavator, my mother was an accountant. The parents treated their daughter very strictly. Tatyana studied well, but tried to spend less time at home, attending various electives.

After graduating from school in 1970, Tatyana was going to study as a chemist at Donetsk State University, but did not pass the entrance examination. A year later, the girl decided to enter the theater institute, and this choice was met with the approval of her mother, who once also dreamed of an acting career.

Tatyana went to Moscow, where on the first attempt she was accepted into the Shchepkinskoye School. A year later I transferred to A. Tarasova’s course at the Moscow Art Theater School. Having seen Tatiana’s graduation performance, M. Zakharov invited her to work at the Lenkom Theater. It was he who advised the aspiring actress to change her last name to a less common one. Tatyana chose her grandmother’s surname – Kravchenko.

Personal life of Tatyana Kravchenko

The first time Tanya fell in love was back in her student years. Her husband was Vladimir Lavinsky. For two years, the couple lived together, running a joint household, but then decided to separate. Former spouses prefer to remain silent about the reasons for the divorce.

After some time, Tatyana Kravchenko’s personal life proceeded in parallel with Dmitry Gerbachevsky. They lived in a civil marriage for some time, and then legalized the relationship. The family soon expanded and included a daughter, Anya. But a few years later the couple separated. The reason was the husband's alcohol abuse. Today the artist lives alone. She has a daughter who is now quite old.

Family of Tatyana Kravchenko

Today the woman lives with her adult daughter, whose name is Anna. The girl is already quite an adult. She received a creative profession, but the popular artist prefers not to say which one.

Tatyana Kravchenko’s family lived in Donetsk. After the girl moved to Russia, her mother and sister remained in Ukraine. But in the harsh 90s of the last century, Tatyana Kravchenko’s relatives moved to Moscow.

The star of “Matchmakers” considers her many colleagues to be her family, some of whom she has been friends with for more than 30 years.

Children of Tatyana Kravchenko

The popular artist has an only child - daughter Anna. Now she has grown up and lives in a civil marriage with a young man. The girl received a creative profession and has been working in her specialty for several years.

Tatyana Kravchenko’s children represent her numerous roles in the most diverse films. The actress says she loves every job she does. In particular, she is in love with her heroine from “Matchmakers,” whom she copied from her mother.

The woman considers her children to be the children who are currently in the combat zone in Donbass. The artist periodically contributes money to the Relief Fund, which is used to buy necessary things for Donbass children.

Daughter of Tatyana Kravchenko - Anna

The popular artist gave birth to her only daughter in the mid-80s of the last century. The girl was named after the artist’s beloved grandmother, Anna. After her parents' divorce, the girl began to live only with her mother. At first she rarely saw her father, and then she stopped communicating altogether.

Tatyana Kravchenko’s daughter Anna studied well at school. She is currently working, but neither the artist herself nor her relatives nor friends prefer to disclose where exactly.

Anna is already an adult, she lives in a civil marriage. In the future, she and her boyfriend want to formalize their marriage and have children.

Tatyana Kravchenko: “My husband beat me. She said I’ll kill him if he continues.”

Tatiana Kravchenko

On screen, 65-year-old Tatyana Kravchenko often embodies images of good-natured heroines whose actions make you smile. The actress herself has repeatedly had to deal with tragedies. She was raised by her stepfather and mother, who were often biased towards the future star. Now, after the passage of time, Kravchenko can say without hesitation that she felt superfluous in her own home. “I remember on Sundays they played so cutely in the bedroom with my little sister, and I slept in the living room. I heard them laughing and talking tenderly. My mother and I often quarreled, and my stepfather too. Who knows what would have happened if I had not entered a theater university,” the artist admitted.

It was then that Tatyana Eduardovna swore to herself that her children would not have a stepfather. In her youth, the actress married production designer Vladimir Lavinsky. This marriage lasted only a couple of years and ended on Kravchenko’s initiative. Her husband often cheated, and she herself did not have any special feelings for him.

At that time, Kravcheko was sincerely in love with Alexander Abdulov. They often played together in theater and cinema, but in real life it was pointless to count on reciprocity.

“Of course, I was absolutely not suitable for Sasha. He loved thin, beautiful girls. I was his lover on stage, I was content with that. Of course, I loved him terribly then,” the artist shared on the air of the “Fate of a Man” program.

The actress has always been proud of the fact that she can make the viewer laugh

Kravchenko got married for the second time in the 80s. Her chosen one was producer Dmitry Gerbachevsky. The relationship between the lovers was not easy: first he had a fiancée, and then she herself became interested in another man. And yet the wedding of the filmmakers took place. Soon Kravchenko’s only daughter, Anna, was born.

The actress was not happy in this marriage. The husband often allowed himself to be rude, and sometimes even attacked Kravchenko with his fists.

“I remember one day he came so angry. Suddenly he started hitting me with his head. Yes, he beat me. I then told him that I would kill him if he continued in the same spirit. We were lucky that we didn’t hurt each other,” the artist admitted.

Kravchenko’s daughter tries not to get involved in her parents’ conflicts

After six years of marriage, Tatyana Eduardovna finally filed for divorce. She did not limit her daughter’s communication with her father. Now Anna has an excellent relationship with her dad, and she considers her mother to be an ideal parent. Kravchenko swore off getting married. “I didn’t want Anya to have a stepfather. All my love went only to her. I don’t have any other children either. Anya’s character is very similar to her father, she doesn’t like it when I scream,” said the star.

Actress from “Matchmakers” Tatyana Kravchenko reunited with her sister after 60 years

There are many bright roles in Kravchenko’s extensive filmography, but she truly became famous after the TV series “Matchmakers” was released. The noisy and slightly rude Valentina Budko, played by her, immediately fell in love with the audience. Tatyana Eduardovna herself never hid the fact that she partially “copied” this image from her mother. The actress’s relationship with her remains just as tense, although the mother is proud of the talented heiress.

Former husband of Tatyana Kravchenko - Vladimir Lavinsky

The young people met during their student days. The young man worked as a production designer. He began to beautifully look after the young laughing girl, the man gave flowers, literally tearing off entire flower beds. Soon the girl could no longer live without her beloved. She happily answered “YES!” to a marriage proposal. The wedding was noisy, student.

Tatyana Kravchenko’s ex-husband, Vladimir Lavinsky, literally blew away specks of dust from his wife. But after some time, the happy life ended. The young people decided to leave. The reason, according to the popular artist, was youthful maximalism and unwillingness to make concessions.

Tatyana Kravchenko's ex-husband - Dmitry Gerbachevsky

A few years after her divorce from her first husband, yesterday’s student lost her head in love with Dmitry Gerbachevsky. They met on the set of one of the films. Soon the young people decided to live together. After living in a civil marriage for several months, the couple legalized their relationship in the registry office. The wedding was attended only by the newlyweds themselves, an employee and two random people who agreed to witness their marriage.

The marriage lasted for 6 years, and the only daughter of the artist, Anechka, appeared in this union.

In the early 90s of the last century, Tatyana Kravchenko’s ex-husband, Dmitry Gerbachevsky, began to drink frequently. In a drunken stupor, he often began to make trouble, which led to divorce. After the separation, the man did not communicate with either his ex-wife or his daughter.
