The Fedoseeva-Shukshina family is at the center of a new scandal

Childhood

Katya was born into an ordinary family, in no way connected with acting or show business.
She is not a relative of the great Russian actor and director Vasily Shukshin, but simply his namesake. From an early age, the girl delighted those around her with her natural artistry and beautiful voice. In kindergarten, the blond little girl got all the main roles at matinees, and at school not a single creative event was complete without her participation. From the first grade, Katya studied piano and accordion at a music school, studied vocals in a pop studio, and attended art school. She has repeatedly become a laureate of music competitions and taken prizes in them. She often performed at citywide events in her native Kazan, for which she received personal gratitude from the President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev.

The Fedoseeva-Shukshina family is at the center of a new scandal

In the family of the Soviet, Russian actress Lydia Fedoseeva-Shukshina, everything is again not thank God - the inheritance of her ex-husband, writer, actor, director and screenwriter Vasily Shukshin, was taken to be divided while the widow was alive. And now, KP.RU reports, this unpleasant situation has “reached its climax.” When in the “Live Broadcast” program on Wednesday, the actress’s daughter Olga “cursed her mother’s husband, Bari Alibasov.”

It is noted that Olga initially did not approve of Lydia Nikolaevna’s choice, “stating that it was better to be Shukshin’s widow than Alibasov’s wife.” And now that Fedoseeva-Shukshina has fallen ill, “the property issue has become acute.” Since Lydia Nikolaevna owns the bulk of Vasily Shukshin’s inheritance. Which should then go to the actress’s heirs - her husband and daughters in equal shares.

But Olga doesn’t see the producer on this list, and “so that Alibasov doesn’t get anything, she decides the issue in advance - practically at the bedside of her sick mother.”

At the same time, as Olga Shukshina’s lawyer Yulia Verbitskaya-Linnik explained to the publication, this is “not about money at all” - “Olga Vasilievna does not lay claim to apartments or other material benefits.” The issue is the intellectual rights relating to her father’s works, the right to publish them, make changes, authorize theatrical performances and television broadcasts. “That’s the only thing that worries us,” the lawyer clarified.

At the moment, such rights belong to the writer’s four heirs: the main share is to the widow, the rest is to Shukshin’s three daughters: Olga and Maria from his marriage to the actress, and Katerina from his previous wife, Victoria Sofronova.

Olga and Maria, sisters, have a difficult relationship, the lawyer admits. But they have a common goal - to advance their father's legacy, "for which they always agree."

“But imagine that among the heirs a stranger suddenly appears, “to whom the name Vasily Makarovich is completely unimportant, but the money is important,” the representative frightens. Adding: in the world of art there are many cases “when great names are forgotten due to infighting among copyright holders.”

And, the lawyer insists, the sisters’ goal is to stop such a dangerous possibility.

According to the lawyer, at some point Alibasov himself suggested that Olga write a renunciation of Vasily Shukshin’s inheritance and part ways peacefully. But then he suddenly backed down: “Perhaps he was wondering what he was dealing with, because copyright is the same product. They can be given away and sold. And besides, this is a stable income,” the lawyer lists.

The author's fee is “not very large” - about one hundred thousand rubles per month. But “small” is by the standards of wealthy people. “And for a person who doesn’t work, this is good money to live on.” Plus, when it comes to television programs dedicated to the memory of Shukshin, “the fees increase significantly” and we can talk about seven-figure sums.

As a result, everyone in the Shukshin family quarreled and went to court over the “housing issue,” and now they are also dividing copyrights — “while Lydia Nikolaevna is alive!”

Vasily Shukshin, children

Vasily Shukshin is a talented writer, director and actor, not only for his time. His work stands far above time; it has no statute of limitations. The most popular and beloved film by the audience, shot by this famous person, is “Kalina Krasnaya”. There were many women in Vasily Shukshin’s life, but there was only one legal wife. There are still various rumors about which of them the great master truly loved, and with whom there were only fleeting romances. However, the legal wife, fellow villager Maria Shumskaya, never gave her husband heirs, since the marriage was more of a formality than a fact. But the children of Vasily Shukshin from actress Lydia Fedoseeva-Shukshina subsequently became very famous personalities.

Everyone knows that in his marriage to the actress, the writer and director had two daughters - Maria and Olga, with a difference of only a year. But many have already forgotten, and some never knew that Vasily Shukshin has another daughter, Ekaterina, from his union with the writer-critic Victoria Sofronova. She practically does not remember her father, since her parents separated almost immediately after her birth, and meetings were very rare. She even began to bear her father’s surname only before entering school. It was then that Vasily Shukshin officially registered it through the registry office. Now Ekaterina Shukshina is translating books. She is married to a German who is also closely associated with literature. Unfortunately, there are no children in their family. Catherine does not communicate with her younger sisters Maria and Olga.

The eldest daughter of Vasily Shukshin and Lydia Fedoseeva Shukshina Maria is now a very popular actress and TV presenter. Probably, the genes of her talented father and actress mother were reflected in her. Her sister Olga Shukshina also graduated from a theater university and acted in films for some time, but then abruptly gave up everything and went to a monastery, where she spent 15 long years atonement for her sins. She named her son Vasily in honor of his famous father. Now, having returned from voluntary confinement in a monastery, Olga Shukshina lives quietly and calmly in Sergiev Posad. All of Vasily Shukshin’s daughters know about each other’s existence, but they make no attempts to establish communication.

And in general, a practically unknown fact is that Vasily Shukshin considered his little nephews (the children of his mother’s sister) Nadezhda and Sergei to be his own children. He actually replaced their father, whom the children lost in early childhood. Nadezhda Zinovieva remembers with gratitude that Vasily Shukshin showed them the country when he took them with him on filming and on expeditions, and also helped them get a decent education, and helped their mother move from the village to the city, and much more that is impossible to list. The nephews treated the actor, writer and director like their own father.
