Childhood
Yuri Belyaev was born in 1947 in a small village in the Omsk region. Soon his parents, employees, moved to Stupino, in the Moscow region. Little Yura grew up to be a real hooligan and was registered in the children's room of the police. The parents tried to channel their son’s irrepressible energy into a peaceful direction.
At first, Belyaev tried to study at a ballet school, but his mother did not like the fact that her son walked around the stage in tights. She took him from there with a scandal.
Then Yura began to engage in athletics, pole vaulting. But the young man was hit by a motorcyclist, and due to a leg injury, Belyaev no longer attended the section. However, Yuri Belyaev, whose biography and personal life today are closely connected with acting, never planned to take up sports seriously.
He said that he was unlucky with his coach. Yes, and it was difficult to do. Considering that in those days there were no special sports shoes, no real poles, no mats: you had to fall straight onto the sand.
Yuri Belyaev would have been loitering around and sooner or later would have ended up in criminal history if one day his neighbor had not called him to a rehearsal of the People's Theater. Classes in the theater studio inspired Belyaev, he began to dream of the big stage and of becoming famous.
Yuri Belyaev now
In 2020, the actor played the role of the main antagonist in the two-part action film Petrovich. Yuri Belyaev got the role of the crime boss Prince, who comes to former riot police officer Petrovich to collect his son’s debts and learns that it was Petrovich (Igor Bochkin) who was to blame for the death of Prince’s brother during the raid.

Also in 2020, it became known that the actor began filming the drama “White Shaman”, in which he plays the role of the famous psychic and hypnotist Wolf Messing.
Path to glory
12 years have passed since Yuri Belyaev came to the theater studio until he received his diploma in acting education. He did a lot of different things before he became famous! And a loader, and a factory worker, and a janitor. I had to serve in the army for several years. Yuri Belyaev does not like to remember those years.
He really didn’t like it in the barracks, where he had to live side by side with hundreds of soldiers every day. The future actor dreamed of freedom and loneliness. Belyaev said that after demobilization he slept for some time at home on the balcony: he wanted privacy and peace so much.
Yuri Belyaev auditioned for the acting department for several years and entered only on the fourth attempt. When he was finally accepted into the Higher Theater School named after. Shchukin, he was not delighted.
Apparently, he had been pursuing his dream for so long that he was simply tired of waiting. And in his second year, Yuri Belyaev even thought about picking up the documents. He immediately wanted fame, recognition, a dizzying career. Studying was difficult and did not fit in with Belyaev’s romantic ideas about acting.

Personal life
Yuri Belyaev, his biography, personal life, wife, children, of course, are of interest to the artist’s fans. It is especially interesting to find out how much the actor’s on-screen images (mostly tough, principled men) correspond to Yuri Belyaev himself. What is he like in life?
In the program “The Fate of Man,” the actor spoke frankly about personal matters (video). He noted with regret that because of his profession, he did not see his older children grow up, so today he cannot boast of a warm, trusting relationship between them.
Yuri got married quite early, at the age of 24, but he failed to build a strong family with his first wife Galina. Immediately after the marriage was registered, many unresolved everyday issues arose, and the relationship between the newlyweds began to deteriorate.
Children were born into the family: son Alexey and daughter Olga. Belyaev immediately realized the responsibility that fell on his shoulders. He understood that children would be brought up by his example, imitate their father. True, Yuri really didn’t like the fact that he was at home in fits and starts, occasionally, and the children didn’t actually see their father. But Belyaev could not leave the profession.
Wikipedia writes that in 1998, 7 years after the first divorce, the actor had a son, Alexander, in his second marriage. The actor forever remembered the words of his second wife, who demanded that he be at home with his family at least on weekends.
When Belyaev divorced for the second time, he did everything to prevent his son from moving away from him like the first children. I rented an apartment to meet with the boy and, at the first opportunity, invited my son to spend time together.
There was a time when Yuri Belyaev hit a bad patch in his biography and personal life, his second wife left him, he left the theater. Then the actor became seriously ill.
This period in his life made him look at many things differently. And, probably, that “militant pessimism” that was always present in the actor even more ingrained in him. However, his health gradually returned, Belyaev began to be invited to act more and more actively, and life went on as usual.
Love will come unexpectedly...
Before his fateful meeting with actress Tatyana Abramova in 2013, Yuri Belyaev was sure that he would never contact the actress. Many of his colleagues seemed deceitful and unreal to him. But one day at the Kinoshock festival in Anapa, he suddenly met a beautiful stranger with charming curls.
He watched raindrops flowing down the woman’s hair and realized that some unknown feeling was arising within him.
That evening, Yuri Belyaev and Tatyana Abramova, whose wedding took place a year after they met, could not stop talking for a long time. Belyaev was so excited and interested that he gave Tatyana a real interrogation. The actress even joked that he was probably a former journalist: Yuri literally bombarded her with questions.
But most of all Abramova was surprised that the actor knew nothing about her. And this despite the fact that they once starred in the same film, only without sharing scenes on the set!
Tatyana was immediately captivated by the fact that Yuri was able to find an approach to her sons. And one day he simply handed over the keys to his Moscow apartment so that the actress could stay there while he was on tour. Belyaev made his marriage proposal to Tatyana with a caveat: after the wedding, we’ll go get married right away!
The almost 30-year age difference does not prevent Yuri and Tatyana from living in perfect harmony.
Belyaev admits that his wife captivated him with her cheerfulness, and he even loved celebrating birthdays. And Tatyana admits that no one has ever surrounded her with such love and care as her current husband.
We learned about Yuri Belyaev, biography, personal life of the actor, his wives and children, and now let's look at a photo from the personal archive of the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
