Vladimir Samoilov, actor: biography, childhood and youth
He was born on March 15, 1924 in the Ukrainian city of Odessa. The future artist was raised in an ordinary family that lived from paycheck to paycheck.
Our hero grew up as an active and intelligent child. He liked to run along the embankments, collect pebbles on the beach, and admire the local landscapes.
Vova did well at school. He had no problems with humanitarian subjects, but exact sciences were not easy for him. If a boy received a bad mark, he tried to correct it quickly.
In 1941 he graduated from high school. However, admission to university had to be postponed. After all, the war has begun. Vova could not stay away. He went to defend his homeland.
How did his further biography develop? Actor Vladimir Samoilov remained in the Soviet army until Victory was declared. In 1945, the guy returned to his native Odessa, where he entered a theater university. Since childhood, he dreamed of an acting career. And even a terrible war could not change his plans. Samoilov was one of the best students on the course. Volodya never skipped lectures or classes. Teachers praised him for his hard work and determination.
Already in the 3rd year, our hero began performing on the theater stage. He was equally good at both positive and negative roles.
SAMOILOVA Alexey Evgenievich
Alexey Samoilov is a famous actor of Russian theater and cinema. He is the youngest representative of the Samoilov acting dynasty.
Samoilov was lucky enough to be born in the year of the end of the Great Patriotic War into the family of the outstanding actor Evgeny Samoilov. The artist lived for 93 years, remaining in the memory thanks to more than fifty roles in cinema.
Childhood and teenage years of Alexey Samoilov
Being almost ten years younger than his sister, Alexey Samoilov was born in the capital of Russia. Previously, the family lived in Leningrad, but at the invitation of Meyerhold they moved to the capital. From the theater studio, Evgeny was offered housing space for seven families on Granatny Lane. It was there that the future artist spent his entire childhood. Samoilov's mother Alexei is an engineer by training, but she decided to devote her life to her children and husband, taking full responsibility for the housework. The father did not plan for his heirs to choose the same profession as his, because it requires so many physical and emotional costs. Tatiana's parents decided to enroll her in ballet school, but she still became an actress.
Alexey, who had perfect pitch, dreamed of having a piano, but his parents could not afford to buy one, since there were a large number of neighbors in the apartment. Perhaps the profession of a musician could have greatly fascinated him, but as a result, he still decided to follow in the footsteps of his father and sister. As a boy, he attended the theater with his parents. One day he went to a play in which his sister was acting. At the same time, he remembered how Tatyana was worried after silence hung in the hall at the end of the performance, but then the hall still exploded with applause, which did not subside for at least 20 minutes.
The influence of family on the career of Alexey Samoilov
Sister Tatyana was the closest person to Alexey throughout his life. It was thanks to her that he became addicted to reading. Moreover, their father had a personal library. But while still at the age of 15, he began to notice in his sister some signs of a nervous disorder, which over the years began to manifest itself even more often. Out of jealousy, he was stabbed in the yard, but Samoilov did not immediately realize the severity of his condition, so in the hospital he immediately found himself on the operating table. The parents were terribly scared, and Tatyana was on the verge of a nervous breakdown, huddled aloofly in the corner of the room. The artist was too vulnerable and emotional in life. Therefore, after the birth of her son Mitya, the parents decided to take on the main burden of raising him, so that their daughter could devote herself to creativity after a break of several years.
Professional career of Alexey Samoilov
For the first 14 years, Alexey Samoilov worked on the stage of the Sovremennik Theater, and devoted the next 30 years to the Maly Theater, from where the actor retired after his father died in 2006. Thanks to the film adaptation of many performances, his roles of Knyazev and Don Sebastian have been preserved to this day. Over the years, Alexey Samoilov realized how dependent the actor’s profession is on theater directors. It was then that he realized why his father did not want his heirs to become actors. As soon as a new production was staged, a list of actors who were involved in it was hung on the board. At the same time, approaching her, and even more so seeing your name on such a list, was very painful and difficult.
His film debut took place in 1971 in the film “Day by Day,” the events of which unfolded around his apartment neighbors. After the role of Lesha, Alexey Samoilov, the theater shokola actor, took part in the series “Past and Thoughts”. He appeared on screen in the film “Much Ado About Nothing,” directed by Samson Samsonov. The film, shot in 1973, became a real serious work, but at the same time it was the film that put an end to the actor’s film career. Samoilov still took part in the filming of some films, but only as a part-time job. Playing in the heat, as well as repeating all takes after takes and the same phrases, was beyond the capabilities of the talented actor.
Personal life of Alexey Evgenievich Samoilov
Alexey Samoilov was in official relationships with women twice, but the eyes of marriage could not make him happy. The first marriage lasted about two years. His chosen one was figure skater Tatyana Tarasova, with whom he lived in two apartments. Sometimes the spouses lived in the actor’s apartment, and sometimes in the wife’s apartment. Then the man worked at the Sovremennik Theater. The artist also introduced his chosen one to Mikhail Kozakov and Galina Volchek, and she introduced him to her popular father. Initially, everything was very good, but constant preparations and training took up all the time from the lovers, so the family soon broke up.
The second wife of Alexei Samoilov was a French citizen named Helen, who at that time was studying in Russia. The couple now has an heiress, Natasha, who currently works as an art critic. In 1985, the actor’s wife decided that she was returning to her homeland, France. Devoted to his family, Alexey Samoilov could not leave his elderly parents and sister. For a long time he lived in two states, until the couple made the final decision to separate.
After Tatyana Samoilova’s son left for the USA, Alexey Samoilov began to devote literally all his time to his sister. Unadapted to everyday life and living exclusively through art, Tatyana really needed constant attention and regular support.
In 2014, Alexey Samoilov inspiredly prepared for the anniversary of Tatyana Samoilova, the celebration of which was to take place at the House of Cinema. Unfortunately, the famous actress died on May 4, right on her birthday. For Samoilov himself, this loss became very painful, because throughout his life he loved his sister, tried to imitate her as a child, always supported her as much as possible, and also consulted with her in those moments when he could not make a choice on his own.
Theater activities
Volodya received the long-awaited diploma. The talented guy had no problems finding employment. He was accepted into the troupe of the Soviet Army Theater (Odessa). He performed on the stage of this institution for almost 3 years. Then the young man went to Kemerovo. But he didn't stay there long.

On the stage of this theater, the actor took part in many productions, including “Conversations with Socrates” and “Talents and Admirers,” which went down in the history of the Russian stage. The incredible performance of Vladimir Samoilov amazed his friends and colleagues. Throughout his career, he performed about 250 roles in theater and cinema. Even in the difficult 1990s, our hero was not without work. He continued to act in films, despite a significant reduction in royalties. For him, the main thing was art, not money.

At the end of the TV show, the results of the examination were made public, which did not confirm the artist’s relationship with Christina’s child.
Continuers of the dynasty
The Samoilov actors have long proven their professionalism and natural talent. Vladimir Yakovlevich forever wrote himself into the history of Russian cinema. His son Alexander continued his father's work. But few people know that the third generation of artists is growing up in the family. Who are we talking about? Let's figure this out together.
It is possible that in the coming years new Samoilov actors will appear in the theater and on screens. After all, Alexander Vladimirovich and his wife Irina have three sons: Arkady (6 years old), Konstantin (9 years old) and Volodya (11 years old). All of them are seriously passionate about acting. Alexander and Irina often take their children to rehearsals and filming. Boys enjoy watching art being created.
The eldest son, Volodya, starred with his father in the TV series “Two Fates”. He brilliantly played the grandson of one of the main characters, Vera. Even then, the boy promised himself that in the future he would enter a theater university.
Biography
Vladimir Samoilov is a Soviet and subsequently Russian actor, winner of two USSR State Prizes and the Stanislavsky State Prize of the RSFSR. The film “Wedding in Malinovka,” in which the actor played the main role, is still considered a classic of Soviet cinema and is loved by a large number of viewers.
Probably, in post-Soviet countries there is not a single viewer who does not know the People’s Artist of the USSR Vladimir Yakovlevich Samoilov, because the actor has played more than a hundred roles in films and 250 in the theater. But few people know that the life of this man fully deserves to become the plot of a film about war, peace, art and love.
Actor Vladimir Samoilov
Vladimir Samoilov was born in March 1924. According to the official version, the boy was born in Odessa. And according to the unofficial one, in the village of Yegorovka, which is located not far from the “pearl by the sea.” The first years of the future artist’s life were spent in this village, but then the family moved to Odessa.
Samoilov received his school certificate in 1941. In the same year, Vladimir Samoilov went to defend his homeland.
In 1945, Vladimir Samoilov entered a theater university in his native Odessa. The young man wanted to play for a long time, and the war did not change his cherished youthful dream. Samoilov was an excellent student, already managing to perform on the theater stage during his student years. It seemed that the actor was in a hurry to make up for lost time taken away by the terrible war.
Legendary actor Vladimir Samoilov and his love story
The famous Soviet actor Vladimir Samoilov drove thousands of women crazy about his Soviet Union. Typically, acting couples are not that long-lasting. However, Samoilov lived his entire life with one woman. For more than half a century, Vladimir Yakovlevich was married to a colleague in the acting workshop, Nadezhda Lyashenko.

They met after the war in their native Odessa. Nadenka was a year older and studied at a theater school. Vladimir had just returned from the front. The girl had many suitors, but this stopped Samoilov and he won her sympathy.

One day Lyashenko declared that she would marry him only under two conditions. Firstly, Vladimir must get teeth, and secondly, he will also become a theater student. For the sake of his beloved, Samoilov was ready to do anything.
When Nadezhda Fedorovna was offered a job in one of the Kemerovo theaters, he, without hesitation, followed her. Later the couple moved to Gorky. It was here that the actor’s career took off. He began acting in films and soon gained popularity.

His wife remained faithful to the theater. She preferred not to act in films. Often creative families are broken up due to the fact that one of the spouses becomes more in demand. The second spouse develops professional envy.
Fortunately, Nadezhda Fedorovna was not at all jealous of her husband’s success and popularity. On the contrary, I rejoiced at his every role, and in the cinema, Vladimir Yakovlevich managed to take part in more than hundreds of films.

Since 1968, the Samoilovs worked at the theater. V. Mayakovsky, who was sentenced to more than two decades. In the early 1990s, both left the theater. Nadezhda Fedorovna was diagnosed with a tumor. Despite the fact that the operations were successful, she was sent into retirement. Vladimir Yakovlevich also did not want to stay in Mayakovka after that.
Samoilov managed to care for his beloved wife and work part-time at the Gogol Theater. Vladimir Yakovlevich dreamed of playing King Lear on stage. The director prepared a production especially for him.
But in September 1999, the actor was taken straight from the theater by ambulance with a stroke. The illness did not allow Samoilov to leave the hospital. He passed away at the age of 76. Nadezhda Fedorovna survived him by only two months.
The actor-spouses lived together for more than half a century in happiness and love. In 1952, their son Alexander was born, who followed in the footsteps of his parents and also became an actor. His five children also continued the acting dynasty.
