Yanina Studilina's childhood
The future star of Russian cinema was born on August 6, 1985 in the city of labor glory - Omsk.
Her beloved grandmother gave her such an atypical name for modern Russians. From childhood, Yanina began to get involved in creativity. From the age of five she studied in a dance club, but dreamed of connecting her future life with theatrical art. It was amazing for the parents to see such a creative flow from their daughter, since neither of them are related to the arts. Her mother worked as a doctor all her life, and her father was educated as a lawyer and built his own business. In addition to Yanina, the family also has a son, Gleb, who is a real inspiration for the actress.

Noticing their daughter's potential, her parents rushed to enroll her in a local music school with a theatrical focus. Yanina attended every lesson with pleasure, knowing full well that all the knowledge she acquired would definitely be useful to her in her future profession.
Despite the obvious talent, many friends and acquaintances predicted the girl’s future as a model rather than a theater one, because from a young age the girl had an ideal figure and attractive appearance. Nevertheless, in 2000, she graduated with honors from a theater school and began to take the first steps towards her dream.

She tried to enter a prestigious theater school, but all attempts were in vain.

The creative nature of the future actress emerged at the age of 5, when she began to dream of fame as a film actress, TV presenter or dancer. The girl’s parents worked at the Omsk Theater, and she often had to see performances, which she memorized by heart and invariably repeated in front of the mirror at home.
Yanina Studilina, whose biography testifies to her multifaceted talent, combined her successful studies at school with dance lessons. She devoted five years of her life to them. A girl with ideal figure parameters was predicted to have a career as a model, but the future star persistently dreamed of becoming an actress and, after graduating from a theater and music school in her hometown, she boldly set off to conquer the capital.

ELLE Interview: Yanina Studilina
• Until now, I have acted a lot in TV series, which Fyodor Sergeevich, of course, did not watch. We both played in Sergei Snezhkin’s “The White Guard,” but we didn’t meet each other on the set. And so Bondarchuk came to the dubbing, looked at the material and said: “Oh, what kind of girl is this? I want to try it for Stalingrad. Snezhkin replied: “You met her.” He didn't recognize me! I saw it in life, but I couldn’t believe that the girl on the screen was me. Then I came to audition three times. Once Fyodor Sergeevich showed an album of Stalingrad veterans for a long time, we talked not about the stage, but about the war, about the feeling of time.
• Before filming, I spent almost a year in New York - I studied at the Lee Strasberg school. Once I asked a teacher: “What does war mean in general? How to play this? And he said: “Yana, go into the room, turn off your mobile phone, TV, radio - everything. Create absolute silence. Lock your room and try to sit all day. Don't do anything at all. And this will not give you even one hundredth of the sensations of the people of that time.”
• My heroine in “Stalingrad,” Masha, lives in that part of the city that is occupied by the Germans, and she has no one: neither mom nor dad. She finds herself in a very difficult situation: a German officer, a fascist, begins to show interest in her. He really treated her well. And there is some kind of chemistry between them. It is impossible to imagine in real life that you can fall in love with an enemy, especially after your parents are killed practically before your eyes. But, you know, I imagined Masha as a butterfly, and Kan as a cocoon that protects her from war. And even if only for two seconds, she can feel like a woman. This is worth living for. It's worth dying for. After all, Masha had no one: no men, no loves at all. Naturally, she wants to live, she wants a future. And tomorrow, most likely, there won’t be. And this makes the feelings stronger. Masha fights with them, she hates and despises Kan... And for the hero Thomas Kretschmann this is also a tragedy of impossibility. The story is not about war, but about real feelings that can flare up, no matter what.
• I’m currently filming another project, and they tell me: “Oh, you worked with Bondarchuk! My God!" In fact, Fedor Sergeevich, despite being an adult, can behave like a child. If he likes something, he expresses his emotions very sincerely. Jumping, running, screaming - it's so energizing! If you don’t like it, he’s calm and never scolds artists. People ask me: “What was the hardest part of the whole project?” I answer: understand that filming has ended. I cried. Yes, everyone was crying. Even now I’m talking, and I’m in tears. We had a sense of family on set.
• There are provocative scenes in the film with my participation. This was written in the script. When I found out the director’s name, I, of course, didn’t doubt it for a second, although I had previously refused jobs where I had to undress. I haven't seen many beautiful nude scenes in Russian cinema. I am absolutely not ashamed of my body, everything about it suits me. This is probably more of a psychological factor - everyone will see. But Fyodor Sergeevich did the frank scene very beautifully and correctly. I felt comfortable. There were no extra people on set at the time of filming. I'm naked, but the camera shows it in halftones and hints.
• I have a very good attitude towards the series “Ranetki”. This is an important stage in my life. I worked with a great team, and this is a tremendous experience for an actress. In a movie you can rehearse, but in a TV series everything has to be done quickly. If you give a good film actor the opportunity to go into a TV series, will he be able to handle this pace and rhythm?
• Do you know what's surprising? In “Ranetki” I have a bitchy heroine, it seemed that they would hate me. But, for example, we were filming on the first of September, there were a lot of children on the set, and a six-year-old girl flew up to me, hugged me and just didn’t want to tear herself away from me. She sincerely said how much she adores and loves me. One can only be grateful for this. It costs a lot.
• I dream a lot. Of course, you need to work and strive. But if you truly believe, then dreams come true. Well, honestly! I remember sitting on the “9th company” and crying - my T-shirt was all wet. I was still studying at the Financial Academy, but I thought: “Lord, how I dream of acting with this director!”
• My husband is sympathetic to my profession and worries. He is far from my industry, he studies economics. We met through mutual friends from the Financial Academy. He has incredibly successful and interesting parents, but he is an independent person, not like anyone else at all. He is interesting, intelligent, educated, purposeful. And it surprises me every day (laughs) - this is its main property. He's a crazy romantic.
• I have a terrible quality - I want to please everyone, always please everyone, please, charm, win over (laughs). And this, of course, is impossible.
The beginning of Yanina Studilina's acting career
As a student at the financial university, Yanina began to take small steps towards a professional acting career. She passed the casting and received a small cameo role as the girl Julia in the little-known TV series “Adventurer,” which was broadcast on television in 2005.
Yanina Studilina wanted to act in films since childhood
After some time, thanks to a happy coincidence, she was invited to work for the music channel Ru.TV. She collaborated with the channel for quite a long time, working as a presenter, but even having a job on television, she never stopped looking for an opportunity to build a career as an actress.
Thanks to her work on television, Yanina was able to attract the attention of both viewers and producers to her person. Thus, she was offered small roles in episodes of popular TV series. She played Sveta Bukina's friend, played by Daria Sagalova, in the sitcom Happy Together, and also appeared as Mila in the comedy television series Who's the Boss. The main roles in the latter were played by Andrei Noskov, Anna Nevskaya, Yaroslav Garnaev, Daria Bondarenko and Lyudmila Artemyeva.
Yanina Studilina in Stas Mikhailov's video In 2007, the actress first played a full-fledged role in the youth series “School No. 1”. She appeared before the audience in the leading role of the first beauty of the school with high self-esteem and a bitchy character. It is noteworthy that in life Yanina is the complete opposite of her character, so every time she made every effort to transform herself into the role of an intriguer.
In 2008, she played small roles in the television series “One Night of Love” and “Provincial Girl,” but she became truly famous after participating in the filming of the youth series “Ranetki.” The girl again appeared in the image of Polina Zelenova - a narcissistic and selfish girl, but despite the negative character, she managed to be remembered, and most importantly, will be loved by many viewers. Natalia Milnichenko, Evgenia Ogurtsova, Elena Tretyakova, Anna Rudneva, Valeria Kozlova and Arthur Sopelnik worked with her on the project.
Yanina Studilina in the TV series "Ranetki"
In 2009, the girl graduated from university and received a Master's degree in economics, which made her dad very happy. But Yanina was irresistibly attracted to theater and cinema; she dreamed not of dry numbers and business projects, but of roles. Therefore, Studilina received a second education, choosing the Shchukin Theater Institute. Here she studied on a course where Poglazov and Markin were mentors. In 2011, after graduating from university, Yanina went to New York and completed an internship at the legendary Lee Strasberg Theater Institute.
The series “Ranetkami”, which ran until 2010, was followed by the film “City of Temptations”, in which Yanina received a role that later had a significant influence on her future career. As in “Ranetki,” the girl portrayed an intriguer and a sensible heartbreaker, cold and calculating. Moreover, the girl got used to the character so much that later in an interview with many journalists she had to explain that the screen role had nothing in common with the real Yanina, kind and sympathetic.
