She was born on May 10, 1950 in the family of director Sergei Bondarchuk and actress Inna Makarova. Little Natasha always dreamed of a strong and friendly family. And all because for her her family was incomplete. Director Sergei Bondarchuk divorced Makarova when Natasha was still little. Mom believed that it would be better for Natasha if she did not meet with her father.
But Natasha suffered because dad stopped coming. And when one of the kind neighbors told her that her dad had gone to another aunt, the eight-year-old girl burst into tears. Five years later, the relationship between daughter and father resumed, but this period of fatherlessness left a trauma in the soul forever.

Real passions flared up on the set. Natasha fell in love with the director. And the feeling turned out to be mutual. But their happiness did not last long. There was no talk of living together. Natalya was married, Andrey also had a husband and son waiting at home.
After Solaris they separated. But very soon we met again at Shepitko’s place. It was there that Tarkovsky told Bondarchuk that he loved her. After this conversation, Natalya tried to commit suicide. She was saved, although doctors were not called so that the story would not become public knowledge.
