Actress Nadezhda Angarskaya: In the finale of “The Last Hero” she defeated the most important Beetle

The star of the Comedy Woman show Nadezhda Angarskaya became the winner of the reality show “The Last Hero. Spectators versus stars." The artist passed all the tests and left 15 opponents behind. She spent 39 days in the jungle. Nadezhda told Vecherka about her victory in the project, her fears and her dream of starring in a war film.

— Nadezhda, how hard was this victory for you? It was difficult, but interesting.

“I can say with confidence that this was the most interesting game of my life, which cost me 39 days on the island, eight kilograms of weight lost and a test of my strength. There were also emotional turmoil. When you first became related, you became attached to people, but it’s time to say goodbye and vote against someone. And, of course, not everyone is happy with your decision, and you yourself are not happy about it.

— Why did you decide to take part in the show?

“I’ve wanted to get there since last year.” We discussed this idea at Natasha Medvedeva’s birthday party (Natalya took part in the first show “The Last Hero” on TV-3, but quickly left the project, unable to bear the separation from her family. - “MV”). I went to the show with a question to myself: can I do it? I wanted to check if I was a tough nut to crack, if I had nerves of steel, if I had Siberian endurance and character. I was told that I am a fighter in life and never give up, but “The Last Hero” is not just a game. This is a test of fire, water, and beetles, which, by the way, I did not overcome. But the most important Zhuk (Nadezhda means a participant in the reality show Igor Zhuk. - “MV”) won in the final. I realized that we can do anything and everything is in our hands. You cannot despair, you must strive for more and not stop there.

— You are not one of those who are afraid to live in difficult conditions. Where does this come from in you?

— I was born in the Yakut city of Mirny. When I was five years old, my family and I moved to Neryungri, where I lived until I was 27 years old. I grew up not in greenhouse conditions, but in the harsh Siberian climate. Across the road from the house was the taiga, where my parents and I often went to pick berries and mushrooms, and even spent the night there. Therefore, I knew some general rules for survival in the wild. There, by the way, I got used to insects. Mosquitoes, ticks, midges... there were plenty of them in the Philippines, where the filming of “The Last Hero” took place.

— How long did you prepare for the television project? What do you remember most?

— A month, but it seems like I’ve been going towards it my whole life — through difficult trials that strengthened my character. I will never forget my relatives' arrival on the island. It caused an emotional outburst in me. It was the moment when you understand the meaning of life, its value, what you love and are loved.

— Did you overcome any of your fears during this project?

- I'm afraid of falling. I remember when I first started skiing, I never fell. The instructor was surprised and did not believe that I was standing on them for the first time. But in reality, I was just scared of falling and getting injured. This happened in the test at the show, when we were spun around in a top hat, after which we had to jump into the mud. I couldn’t cope with the test then and lost.

— Was it difficult to recover and get used to your old life after the project?

— Two days after returning to Moscow, I realized that I was going crazy from the flow of thoughts and information. During my absence, there was simply a huge number of different cases that needed to be resolved. I realized that I was happy on the island only because I practically didn’t use my phone. But I quickly got back into the old rhythm: I sleep normally on the bed and eat as before. I realized that I can be happy in any situation.

— Tell us about the incident with your mother, when she flew to your island on a plane.

— When I decided to participate in this show, my mother asked for a long time why I needed it. But then she agreed. Honestly? I thought she wouldn't arrive. But she is an adventurer just like me. I can’t imagine where she got so much strength to endure all the flights, and even with a child. Without sleep, they immediately came to our site. Then I had trials, I was afraid, but I walked and thought about my mother and that she was able to overcome such a path for me. Am I a weakling? Who did you leave your son with while you were on the island? David was with my sister, mother and nanny. The nanny has been with us for four years, she is already like a member of the family, and we are happy about it. Even though we are divorced, David’s dad is also often with him.

-Are you a strict mother? How are you raising your son? Do you have enough time for yourself?

“It seems to me that I am the least strict mother in the world.” I raise my son with love and affection. And I understand that I allow him too much, and then I pay for it myself. Now I have revised my policy and become a little stricter. And I have enough time for myself. A woman should be well-groomed.

— Tell us about your life now, in self-isolation.

— At first we lived for three weeks at the dacha. At first it was fun, we took it as an adventure, but now we’re tired of it. We recently moved in with my mom, and I love that we are all together. For me, in terms of work, a crisis has now come. I hope I won’t have to change my specialty and everything will soon return to normal.

— Do you play sports at home?

“I try, but it’s harder at home, there’s no regime.” Now I train three times a week, but I plan to get into a rhythm and increase training to five times, as it was before.

— Share your creative plans. What goals do you set for yourself for the near future?

— I recorded the song “The Last Hero.” Thank you for the support of all my friends, my team and those who remained behind the scenes, but are also important to me. When self-isolation ends, I want to realize myself as a singer. I will continue to host events and programs, and participate in performances. I would love to star in a movie. My dream is to play a role in a war film. I rarely watch them because I cry a lot after them.

— When self-isolation ends, what will you do first?

— I’ll start going to the gym and working there to the maximum. I want to run, jump and be happy that it’s all over. And we will definitely fly to the sea.
