Biography of Rustam
Rustam Solntsev, whose real name is Kalganov, was born on December 29, 1976 in the city of Slavyansk-on-Kuban. He lived in a family of Soviet intelligentsia, his mother successfully graduated from a trade and economics technical school, and his father, having graduated from a party school, worked as a party leader. Rustam was the second child in the family, his older brother’s name is Emil, and his younger sister’s name is Ksenia.
People who knew Rustam in childhood remember an inquisitive, well-read boy. After graduating from school, I entered a university at the Faculty of Law; after graduating, I did not work in my specialty. According to Rustam, he was always drawn to popularity and media exposure. Then Rustam went into the modeling business and went to Milan.
After returning from Italy, he worked on the MuzTV channel, radio Europe +, and was also a qualified PR specialist.
In May 2005, Rustam comes to the “House 2” project. Immediately after appearing on the project, the man becomes the most scandalous participant. After the conflict with Sam Seleznev and Anastasia began, Dashko attracted special attention.
Rustam began to weave intrigues, create scandals and conduct provocations. The end of the conflict was facilitated by Sam's blow to Rustam's face. The first was disqualified from the project, and Solntsev left on his own.
In 2007, Kalganov was again invited by the producers of “House 2” for his outstanding actions in previous episodes of the show. For the first six months, the old project participants tried to exclude Rustam from the show, however, Ksenia Sobchak’s immunity put an end to these conflicts.
Solntsev stayed on the project until 2009 and left after admitting to stealing a laptop. Married to Tatyana Tretyakova since 2010. Rustam is now 42 years old and actively works in show business. He has his own beauty salon and hosts the program “Hu-iz-hu”.
Biography
Parents are representatives of the Soviet intelligentsia. Mother Valentina graduated from a trade college and, despite the fact that she married Rustam’s father at the age of 17, was an educated and well-read woman.

The head of the family, Peter, is an average party worker who tried to put not only the country, but also the children on its feet.

Without exaggeration, we can say that Kalganov (Rustam’s real name) spent his childhood in the library. The ex-participant of the TV show grew up as a smart and inquisitive child. The boy spent all his free time reading, preferring classical literature. Valentina Semyonovna admits that her son’s thirst for knowledge has led to the fact that all the rooms of their country house are littered with books.

From the biography of the star of “House-2” it is known that in addition to his secondary education, the man also has a higher legal education. However, the gray, monotonous work with documents never appealed to him. The ambitious guy gravitated toward creative professions that brought media exposure and popularity.
Kalmyk nationality awarded Rustam with an original, memorable appearance. The guy, thirsty for fame and recognition, without thinking twice, decided to go into the modeling business. True, before this I had to correct my flat, inexpressive chin by doing mentoplasty.

It is reliably known that for several years the impressive young man worked in Italy as a fashion model. However, the flamboyant brunette decided to give up his modeling career, since his soul was given to the colorful world of Russian show business.
So, having returned to his homeland in the late nineties, he worked as a DJ on radio “Europe-plus”, and in the early 2000s he ended up on “MUZ-TV”. When relations with the management there did not work out, the showman decided to try himself in a new role and went to Dom-2.

In June 2005, Solntsev’s first visit to the project took place. Rustam understood: in order to stay on the increasingly popular TV show, bright appearance is not enough. The thoughtful guy decided to play it safe and publicly declared that he would seek the favor of the red-haired beast - Olesya Ostapenko. However, the man was not engaged in building “love” for long. It was not without reason that the girl did not favor the would-be gentleman. Rustam’s overly free views on relationships and rumors about gays pushed the beauty away.

True, the born manipulator did not grieve for a long time and quickly found his calling. Kalganov weaved intrigues, pitting TV show participants against each other, caused scandals and was the progenitor of rumors both within the TV show and beyond. A conflict with a couple of Anastasia Dashko and Sam Seleznev led to a fight between the men, after which Sam and Dasha were disqualified, and the provocateur left Dom-2 voluntarily.
The producers invited the rated participant to the scandalous project again in January 2007. Relations with “household members” did not work out right away. Despite the fact that the man had the support of Victoria Boni, Alena Vodonaeva and Stepan Menshchikov, at every vote they tried to kick out the gossiper who was disliked by the team. But by a strange coincidence, the presenters always had immunity for Kalganov.
Despite the fact that the schemer did not want to burden himself with a relationship, he still moved into a separate apartment with the inconspicuous participant Lyuba Tkachenko. True, the love story ended before it really began. Conflicts flared up in the couple every now and then. Rustam ended the hated romance in an original way: the brawler conspired against his “beloved,” and the young lady was kicked out of the gate.
When leaving, Lyuba announced that she was pregnant. Solntsev could not believe his “luck” and attacked his former partner with his fists. The man was sure that the girl had spoiled the child, and that the father was not him. Outside the perimeter, Tkachenko, according to her, had an abortion.
Realizing that scandals would not get you far, Rustam periodically made attempts to woo the fairer sex. Thus, the failed Don Juan showed sympathy to Olga Buzova, Daria Chernykh (Pynzar), and Rima Pendzhieva, but no one took the freak’s courtship seriously. No matter how hard the 30-year-old showman tried, he never built strong relationships on the TV show and couldn’t even leave with dignity.
When one of the participants' laptop disappeared, suspicion fell on Rustam. For several days, Kalganov defended his innocence and, in order to dispel all rumors, he took a lie detector test, which showed that the man had nothing to do with the disappearance. True, vanity soon overwhelmed Rustam. The showman admitted that he cheated the polygraph, and he stole the laptop. On November 22, 2009, the project manipulator was expelled from Dom-2 in disgrace.
Four years later, together with Andrei Cherkasov and Nikita Kuznetsov, Solntsev returns to the television set again in the status of a revolutionary. A matured and wiser man officially becomes a mentor to the young “household members.” As they say, no matter what Rustam enjoys, as long as he doesn’t make a scandal.
But the “angelic fuse” did not last long for the deliberate provocateur. The conflict with the Pynzari family ended in a brawl. Fortunately, later an unspoken settlement agreement was concluded between the “warring” parties, and no one was disqualified.
If the relationship with the girls did not work out, then the man quickly found an approach to the eminent “grandmother” of the television project, Olga Vasilievna. The provocateur spent his free time from scandals in the company of Alexander Gobozov’s mother. Rustam communicated extremely frivolously with a 65-year-old lady, which is why the Internet was full of rumors about their romance.
In each of the three parishes, the dynamics of negative events only increased, so fans of the TV show were not at all surprised that a man, for the sake of PR, was ready to smear the name of an innocent woman.
In July 2014, the outdated manipulator voluntarily left the reality show.
Personal life
Legends have always been made about the personal life of the Dom-2 brawler. Due to the fact that the man had an extremely unusual appearance, it was rumored that he was gay. And even the wedding with Tatyana Tretyakova did not solve the problems. The marriage, which lasted three years, was called fictitious.
The love for plastic surgery only added fuel to the fire (Rustam had his nose and lips done). Fans still agree that before plastic surgery the man was attractive, but after surgery it is impossible to look at the reality show star without tears.
Among other things, the paparazzi repeatedly caught Solntsev and a certain guy Sergio in nightclubs in the capital. It should be noted that the discussed connection with the boy, who was old enough to be the son of the ex-participant in the TV show, was denied.
After the project, the 40-year-old showman opened a beauty salon, which is still thriving and generating income. In addition, Rustam has not disappeared from the country’s television screens. He participated in the program “Eat and Lose Weight!” - Issue No. 77, as well as “Super-intuition” - Issue No. 52.
At the beginning of 2011, Rustam, together with Stepan Menshchikov, hosted the provocative talk show “Hu from Hu”.
Rustam Solntsev now
At the beginning of 2020, Kalganov announced that he was looking for a surrogate mother for his future children. Rumor has it that the ex-wife agreed to help her failed husband and, for a reasonable fee, will give birth to an heir.
It is reliably known that the only person Solntsev loves more than intrigue and gossip is his dog Wanda. The man regularly posts photos and videos of his beloved on Instagram.
On the same social network, the eminent brawler runs the column “Dear Mom” (exclusive for StarHit), in which he comments on the lives of both former and current participants of “Dom-2” for a minute.
The experienced manipulator develops and promotes his YouTube channel to the masses. There, Rustam is going to publish videos “#TokWhatShow!”, the pilot episode of which has already been uploaded to the network.
Now Rustam is painfully experiencing the death of his brother Yaroslav, but in order not to let the organizers down, he continues to host entertainment events. In May 2020, Rustam visited the show “Let Them Talk” by Andrei Malakhov, where those present discussed Dana Borisova, who admitted to drug addiction.

Life before the project.
Childhood.
Rustam was born on December 29, 1976 in a small town in the south of Russia - Slavyansk-on-Kuban, in a classic family of Soviet intellectuals. Rustam's dad, Peter, graduated from the Higher Party School and was a party worker. Mom, Valentina, graduated from a prestigious trade college in Soviet times. Rustam is the middle child in the family. He has an older brother, Emil, and a younger sister, Ksenia. There was another daughter in the family, the youngest, but she was born with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy and died in early childhood.
Hobbies.
Since childhood, Rustam, according to his mother, was “incredibly inquisitive and ready to explore the world every second.” He loved literature. He read a lot and variedly and literally spent days in the library, where, by the way, his photo with the inscription “Our best reader” hung for a long time. He spent almost all his personal money on buying new, interesting publications. As a result, all the rooms of their large country house are now literally littered with books that Rustam has read. In addition to reading, he loved music, theater, and is fluent in English and German.
Education and work.
Rustam graduated from the university, received a higher legal education, but did not work by profession. He was always attracted by television, spotlights, and popularity, so after graduating from university, he immediately made attempts to break into show business. In 1993-1994 he worked as a presenter on the Kuban radio Fermata. His attractive appearance allowed Rustam Solntsev to try himself in the modeling business (he worked for some time in Milan). Returning to his homeland, Rustam got on television. It was the MuzTV channel, where he worked as a VJ and was at that time (in 1998) the most popular presenter of music programs. Colleagues considered him a master of live broadcasting. But when the channel’s management changed and Rustam was offered another job not related to live broadcasting, he, in his own words, “got into a pose” and as a result left.
Personal life.
Before he first came to the project, Rustam was not married. But he was practically a real father to his niece Marusya, the daughter of Ksenia’s younger sister, and devoted all his free time to her.
Rustam Solntsev on the project.
Take one.
For the first time, Rustam came to the project in September 2005 and expressed sympathy for a participant named Olesya Ostapenko. In the first week, Rusya behaved quietly, looked after Olesya, spoke beautiful words to her, assured her that he liked plump girls (Olesya was not skinny) and did not get involved in conflicts. But one day he called the old men of the project, Sam Seleznev and Nastya Dashko, philistines. This is where Rustam’s real life on the project began: scandals, intrigues, provocations. In a short time, he went from being an ordinary newcomer to practically the main character of the show. Solntsev tried to organize new participants to fight against the insolent “old men” and wanted to kick out first Nastya Dashko from the project, and then Solntse (Olga Nikolaeva). True, nothing came of this, but he was able to turn almost the entire team against himself, except for Alena Vodonaeva and Stepan Menshchikov. To take revenge on Rustam, the guys voted against his girlfriend. Olesya left, the guy stayed and continued the “war”.
At the end of 2006, Lyuba Tkachenko came to the project, with whom Rustam also began to develop a relationship. The guys were even accommodated in separate apartments. But soon conflicts began in the couple. Either Solntsev was overly carried away by the fight with the participants, and he had no time for love, or Lyuba was not his ideal. It all ended with Rustam conspiring against his beloved, and the girl was kicked out. When leaving, Lyuba announced that she was pregnant from Rustam. The guy called her a girl of easy virtue, and a fight broke out between them. Outside the perimeter, Lyuba, according to her, had an abortion.
Rustam stayed on the project to fight with the participants. His relationship with the guys worsened even more when he provoked Sam Seleznev into a fight. Sam was suspended indefinitely. But in the end, in order to “rehabilitate” himself in the eyes of the audience, Solntsev announced that he was leaving the project, and Sam would return to the perimeter instead.
Interesting details.
Lyuba Tkachenko herself described her love story with Rustam differently. According to her, she fell in love with Rusya, and he moved in with her because he decided to urgently give birth to a child. Allegedly, the show's management had the idea to show the birth and life under cameras of the first baby (there were no children on the project at that time). In order to somehow motivate the participants, it was decided to give the daring couple an apartment in Moscow. Rustam urgently got involved in the fight for the apartment. But then the management revised their plans, and Solntsev did not need the child. (However, this information has not been confirmed and is entirely on the conscience of the participant.)
Take two.
For the second time, Rustam was personally invited to the project by the show’s producer, Alexey Mikhailovsky. He called Kalganov before the new year 2007, just when he received an offer to work in Los Angeles, in an entertainment program for Russian television. But Rusya easily refused the tempting offer and returned to “House 2”.
This time, Rustam was given a real task - to stir up the sleepy kingdom of “overfed hamsters”, create more scandalous situations and attract viewers. The management provided the newly-minted headliner with reliable protection from attacks from participants - permanent voting immunity. As a result, Rustam managed to turn around and carry out many “spectacular” actions: scandals, fights, provocations. And the participants had only two options: either make friends with Rusya, or leave at the vote. However, Solntsev even then periodically courted girls, among whom were Olga Buzova, Daria Chernykh (Pynzar) and others.
Rustam was expelled on November 22, 2009, according to the official version “for theft.”
After the project.
Although Rustam Solntsev never found his love in “House 2”, just six months after leaving the project, to everyone’s surprise, Rustam married his old friend, Muscovite Tatyana. True, after about three years the couple divorced. But warm relations remained between them. Moreover, the ex-husband constantly states that if he ever has children, it will be only from his ex-wife. At the same time, Rustam managed to create a new program “Hu from Hu” on the TNT channel, in which he acted as the author and presenter.
Take three.
On June 10, 2013, Rustam came to the project for the third time and became practically the leader of the “revolution at House 2.”
This time he did not even declare his readiness to at least try to fall in love. The “Aksakal of the Revolution” already stated at the front that he had come to stir up the youth and help them in building love. He became friends with an even more mature participant, Sasha Gobozov’s mother, Olga Vasilyevna, and all the main events in his life on the project are connected with her. True, Russia tried to organize a new rebellion - to “move” the slightly stagnant Pynzar family, but this idea did not bring results. After a small scuffle with Sergei Pynzar, the men went to peace and shook hands.
Currently, Rustam, as a participant in the show, continues to work outside the perimeter. He managed to open his own beauty salon and sometimes hosts various events. Recently, Rustam Kalganov underwent plastic surgery (rhinoplasty).
Interesting details.
Viewers constantly argue about Rustam's sexual orientation. We believe that this topic is too intimate to discuss and is a personal matter for everyone. But to avoid unnecessary comments, for everyone who is still concerned about this, we inform you: this issue was closed five years ago, when Rustam’s mother, Valentina Semyonovna, stated in an interview that he was bisexual.

What was wrong with your appearance before plastic surgery?
Solntsev saw many flaws in his appearance, the first of which was a flat and expressionless chin. Rustam was going to become a model, and his chin was the only obstacle. After a car accident, Kalganov's nose was severely injured; it became flat and crooked.
Photo comparison of Rustam Solntsev’s appearance before and after plastic surgery.
After several operations, Rustam became interested in his appearance and became dissatisfied:
- His “heavy” eyes, which became so due to the extra folds of skin on the eyelids.
- Thin and unaesthetic lips, which, according to him, spoiled his entire appearance.
- Frequent hair loss, which was aggravated by a car accident.
Rustam’s appearance worried him greatly, since he led an active life in show business, and one cannot appear on stage with flaws in appearance, as Rustam said: “an actor should always look ethereal.” Rustam was pushed towards plastic surgery by joining the Dom-2 project.

He himself spoke about this more than once, and his appearance is characteristic of this nationality. He was not attracted to this profession, but television, fame and camera flashes always attracted him.
He decided to begin his rise to fame through a modeling agency. But before that, he had to change his appearance a little, namely his chin. Kalganov Rustam Petrovich. Biography on a TV project
The reality show “Dom-2” was the next step that the guy took in order to show himself in all his glory and gain hundreds of fans across the country. In 2005, he became a participant in a television project, but building love took him less time than weaving intrigues and conspiracies. Because of him, even the organizers had to disqualify Sam Seleznev, whom Rustam provoked into a fight. In 2007, Kalganov returned at the invitation of the director of “House-2”. His task was not to find his soulmate, although he tried to woo many ladies, including Alena Vodonaeva, Victoria Boney and so on, but to bring confusion to the ranks of the overstaying participants. But after 2 years the guy was kicked out of the perimeter for theft. One of the participants, Natalya Varvina, accused the main intriguer of stealing her equipment. In June 2013, Rustam returned to the project again as a “revolutionary” to set an example for young guys and show what love is and how it should be built.
Kalganov Rustam Petrovich. Biography. Personal life
After participating in the reality show “Dom-2”, Rustam got married. A good friend became his chosen one. Their marriage did not last long, and three years later the couple filed for divorce. However, warm relations remained between the former spouses. Kalganov’s professional activity is quite extensive: he works as a host of events of various levels and significance, as a toastmaster, records his own songs, and most recently opened his own beauty salon.
Nose reshaping surgery
Before Rustam came to the Dom-2 project, he was not particularly worried about his nose , which was damaged in a car accident, but after meeting Alexey Samsonov, he learned about the results of his plastic surgery.
Solntsev came to his first consultation at the Doctor Plastic clinic in November 2013, chose doctor Igor Anatolyevich Bely, who performed plastic surgery on Samsonov and learned that the operation was vital for Rustam, since due to the inflammatory process all the partitions had dissolved and the patient could not can breathe normally.
After consultation, it was decided to undergo rhinoplasty by transplanting part of a rib into the nose, since there are practically no bones and cartilage in the nose.
The operation cost Rustam 400 thousand rubles. After removing the bandage, the nose changed noticeably and took on a normal shape, but swelling in the nasal area persisted for several weeks. The cartilage completely fused and recovered within another year. Friends began to notice that the nose had taken on a special shape that did not correspond to Kalganov’s general appearance.
Lip correction
The next operation after rhinoplasty was lip augmentation. The procedure cost 80 thousand rubles. and was carried out quickly and painlessly. The lips were filled with silicone gel and given a “duck” shape. It was after this operation that Solntsev’s appearance ceased to be similar to the original one, but became closer to Sergei Zverev.
A few years later, Solntsev began to experience health problems from this procedure, the gel began to spread over the entire face and cause active inflammation, and there was a risk of infection or cancer. He also said that big lips are not masculine.
In 2014, he decided to get rid of silicone and performed a painful operation to remove it, the new operation was much more expensive, he turned to Gayk Babayan and paid 350 thousand rubles for it. Rustam Solntsev (before and after plastic surgery he provided photos and videos to all subscribers of his microblog) suffered greatly from these operations.
Plastic surgery on the eyes
In 2020, the man decided to undergo blepharoplasty and remove the Bish's lumps that fill his face. Rustam complained about folds of skin on his eyelids, which give his face a sad look even when he is cheerful. Many friends began to notice this and, on the advice of his friend Oksana, he turned to a plastic surgeon.
Solntsev wanted to perform the operation on Gaik Babayan, but due to the fact that he was on vacation, the choice fell on Alexander Vdovin. The operation cost 70 thousand rubles. After the anesthesia wore off, Rustam regretted the operation; according to him, the pain from the swelling was so severe that he cursed himself for this decision.
When the pain subsided, he realized that he had done the right thing and began to expect the swelling to subside.
According to him, looking in the mirror, he began to see a Chukchi boy. However, the recovery period was greatly delayed, which is why his trip to the Caribbean Islands was disrupted, and the result in the end was not what Rustam expected, his eyes changed their shape greatly, although his gaze became more open, his appearance was spoiled.
This operation was one of the unsuccessful ones in Rustam’s experience. Rustam Solntsev before the operation, as friends note, looked more natural than after the plastic surgery. And the photos confirm this.
Fighting baldness
In 2012, the artist began having problems with baldness. At that time, hair did not fall out very often, but after a motorcycle accident in 2014, according to Rustam, the hair began to fall out in clumps. No medications helped stop the process of baldness, and Solntsev decided to undergo plastic surgery for a hair transplant, since he could not appear on air with such a problem.
Rustam decided to have the operation performed by Gaik Babayan, who is a professional in hair transplantation. He performs this procedure on any clients from 20 to 70 years old and is quite experienced in this field. To carry it out, it was necessary to remove hair follicles from the back of the patient’s head and transplant them to bald areas. The operation lasted 6 hours and went without complications.
The cost of the operation was 260 thousand rubles. Rustam's appearance remained virtually unchanged, only a small part of the hair on the back of his head disappeared.
The rehabilitation period lasted about a month, and during this time Kalganov visited the surgeon several times to monitor the bulbs, which may not take root. After the new hair was removed, Kalganov was able to see the young Chukchi guy in the mirror again.
What does it look like after plastic surgery?
Many fans and viewers began to notice that after numerous plastic surgeries, Rustam began to look like a mannequin. His appearance as a Kalmyk man has changed beyond recognition. Many believe that, having started performing operations out of necessity, he subsequently changed his appearance for the worse, losing his original beauty and aesthetics.
His nose not only took on its shape, but changed it, he became much plumper, and his eyes unnaturally widened and lifted, his lips became large. The only plastic surgery that did not change his original appearance was a hair transplant procedure, the bulbs were planted in the place of the former, lost hair.
Rustam Solntsev (before and after plastic surgery photos make it clear that his appearance has changed beyond recognition) recently shared photos from 20 years ago. The example turned out to be unsuccessful. Subscribers expressed dissatisfaction with changes in Rustam’s appearance. Some compare him to a doll and cannot guess what operation will be next.
Period | Height | Weight | Age |
Before surgery | 185 cm | 76 kg | 23 years old |
After operation | 185 cm | 85 kg | 42 years |

The hero of the early seasons of “Dom-2” Rustam Solntsev before and after plastic surgery is a vivid example of a change in appearance for the worse, which is clearly visible from the photo.
Plastic surgeries help correct flaws in appearance, but if they are abused, trouble can happen. Having undergone so many plastic surgeries, he not only ruined his appearance, but also greatly harmed his health.
Plastic surgeries performed by Rustam Solntsev
The first plastic surgery that Rustam performed was mentoplasty - changing the shape of the chin. The next major surgical intervention was nose correction; this operation was performed for medical reasons. Surgeons offered Rustam a choice of three options for restoring the nasal septum - an artificial implant, a cadaveric bone and part of his own rib.
The young man immediately rejected the second option (cadaveric bone); he refused the implant due to the high probability of its rejection. As a result, the nose was corrected using part of the patient's own rib.
And then Rustam got too carried away with plastic surgery: he corrected the shape and size of his eyes, injected silicone into his lips and transplanted hair. But it must be said that recently the young man decided to remove the previously applied silicone from his lips. Perhaps this will stop the artificial changes in Rustam’s appearance.
