Natalya Zemtsova - biography, films, photos

Biography

Natalya was born in Siberia in the family of a boxing trainer and a merchandiser. “As a child, I didn’t dream of becoming an actress, I wanted to be a president. In general, I started drawing quite early; these abilities were developed by my grandfather and my most faithful friend. He explained to me what good is and how this world works,” recalls the artist.

A little later, the girl began to show acting skills: she organized home concerts, where she could sing and dance for hours for her family. Her parents enrolled her in classes at a theater studio. At school, the future actress intensively studied English and French.

After 11th grade, the girl went to Moscow to enter a theater university. But failure awaited the young provincial girl in the capital. She returned to her hometown and studied in a creative studio at the local Youth Theater.

A year later, Zemtsova entered the St. Petersburg State Academy of Theater Arts (SPBGATI). She studied at the Russian-Buryat experimental course, her leader was Arvid Mikhailovich Zeland. Life in the Northern capital was not easy. “More than once I packed my suitcase to leave everything behind. But dad constantly called me and supported me,” says Natalya. The actress successfully graduated from university in 2011.

Natalya Zemtsova: “Inga from the Eighties is haunting me”

Actress Natalya Zemtsova stands out from her colleagues. For example, she recently admitted that she wants to appear older - after all, the most interesting roles are written for those “over thirty.”

— Against the backdrop of the stars’ desperate struggle for eternal youth, your desire to appear older is perceived as a strange whim...

— Since the theater academy, I dreamed of adult dramatic roles, but they let girls from Ostrovsky play them. I hate them, these merry talkers. (Laughs.) I don’t like Juliet either. But since my appearance is a little childish, even on the course with my peers I still played little ones. I worried about this for a very long time. Only now am I starting to play what I want, what I like. I'm filming a project where I have an age-related role. At the beginning, my heroine is 15 years old, she grows up as the plot develops, and we will end at 37 years old. And then I realized that I was much more interested in playing adult women, especially those who have children.

- But you are now a mother yourself. Son Ivan is growing up...

— Yes, in August he will be four years old. Time flies very quickly. By the way, I always dreamed of a girl. I even came up with a name - Sonya, although now I don’t like it anymore. The doctors confirmed this to me during an ultrasound. And only before the birth they said: “You are having a boy!” I remember thinking: “Oops! So what to do?" I was confused at first. But now I love it so much that I have a boy. This is simply wonderful!

- In modern times, you chose a very old-fashioned name for your son...

- This is all Seryozha (Natalia’s husband, Sergey Kristovsky, - bassist of the group Uma2rman - V.B.), I didn’t want this name. I had many different options. And these options changed every day - literally until the day of birth. But a funny thing happened. It was summer, very hot, it was hard for me, I already wanted to give birth. I remember I said to Seryozha: “He is not born because he does not want to be Ivan, he wants to be Semyon! If he is born today, he will be Semyon!” Seryoga agreed. But he was born the next day. (Laughs.) And now I understand that the name Ivan suits him very well. Very. Although we call him Bagel.

- Why?

“Seryoga called me that when I was pregnant.” And somehow the nickname smoothly flowed onto Ivan. Now, of course, he is no longer Bublik. Now Ivan is straight! Such a business person. He is very active. Doesn't sit on computers or phones. In Spain, where we spend the summer, he goes golfing. And he does it very well. Now we are teaching him to swim. You need to be able to swim, you never know. Vanya has already fallen into the pool. At least it will float out. I am for preparing children for adult life. There is no need to cover them with pink cotton wool.

— How did you meet Sergei?

- At the concert. I was filming in Minsk. And the guys were on tour there.

— Did you like the music of the group Uma2rman?

— I won’t say that I was a fan, but I definitely liked something. I would not be able to meet with Stas Mikhailov. (Laughs.) It’s important that you like what your loved one is doing. You can’t spend your whole life telling him: “Oh, great!” And to myself: “Oh, horror!” And if I don’t like some songs, I always say honestly.

Now Natalya is filming a new project, the script of which is based on the adventures of people with psychic abilities. Popular actor Kirill Kyaro is also busy filming

— Many people, when they write about your union, still focus on the seventeen-year age difference...

- Well, by the way, sixteen. (Laughs.) It seems to me that they talk about this difference because they need to create some kind of intrigue. Maybe they want to show that I am somehow insincere towards him. But this is nonsense.

— Are you friends with Serezha’s brother?

- Yes, we communicate well. We often travel together. We always spend the winter in Spain, but this year the guys came with their whole family and succumbed to our persuasion. They liked it. We spent a lot of time together. I'm all for being friends. Since childhood I have loved family holidays. My mom and dad separated. Dad started a family - a wife and daughter. But my mother communicated very well with my father’s wife. And when I came from St. Petersburg, I also met with them. We celebrated all the holidays together. Such a big family. And it was cool. Relatives are the people you should hold on to.

— So you don’t mind if Sergei communicates with his children and ex-wife?

- Well, where can you get away from this? But I love it more when children come to us. (Laughs.) I tried to somehow make friends, but... Life, it’s long, some grievances pass over time and are forgotten. It is unknown what will happen next. Everything is possible. You can't make a guess.

- Indeed, you never know where life will lead. I heard you never even dreamed of being an actress.

— In childhood there were no prerequisites. My admission to the theater was a complete surprise to everyone. After all, I studied in a good language special school. And then all of us went to foreign language. But not me.

— As you know, theatrical Moscow did not suit you right away...

— I didn’t get in the first year. Although I acted everywhere and like everyone else: GITIS, Pike, Sliver, Moscow Art Theater School, VGIK. A year later I decided to try to enter the St. Petersburg Academy of Theater Arts. I already knew more and was prepared. And not like the first time, I found the address on the Internet and went.

Married to musician Sergei Kristovsky, Natalya gave birth to a son three years ago. This is already the sixth child for Sergei. Five were born in his previous marriage

— I wonder why Omsk residents go to live and work in St. Petersburg?

- I don’t even know why this is so. There really are a lot of Omsk residents there. And many fellow countrymen studied in the theater. But personally, I always wanted to live in Moscow.

- And it worked out. One of the first striking roles was Inga from The Eighties. Does she still haunt you?

“Our people, if they fall in love with something, then they don’t want anything else.” My friends make fun of me, saying hello: “Oh, hi, Inga! When's the next season of 'The Eighties'? We need to break this vicious circle, because everyone is fixated on this Inga. Although I don't understand why. After all, Inga is a noble bitch. After watching the first episode, I was afraid that everyone would think the same about me. And they really thought so. This moment was quite long. I came to shoots for magazines or something else, and then they told me: “Oh, you’re so good, but we thought you were... not like that.”

— What new projects are expected?

— A saga with the working title “The Others.” The story of one family. About women who have psychic abilities and who are considered witches. And I play the only one of all who does not have these abilities. Such a defect in production.

— There are many famous actors in this project. How do you work with them?

— A good partner is a thrill. There is no need to finish playing or invent anything. Kirill Kyaro is simply wonderful to work with.

— You also write pictures, they say?

- Yes, it’s always with me. My grandfather drew and taught. And I have been drawing since childhood. I already had an exhibition “Cat House”, where I exhibited thirteen paintings with cats. We bought almost everything. Now I am drawn to nature, painting landscapes. I don't know what to do with this. I no longer have anywhere to hang them. I’ll probably do another exhibition if I have time between film projects.

Cinema

Natalya Zemtsova began acting in films in her fourth year at the theater academy. Her debut took place in the psychological detective film “Voices”, where she played a cameo role.

In 2012, the artist appeared in the comedy-melodrama project “The Eighties” in the role of the cute student Inga Borodina, with whom Alexander Yakin’s character, Vanya Smirnov, is madly in love.

In the comedy series “Love in the Neighborhood,” Natalya played the funny simpleton Katya Pylinkina, the main character’s cousin. In the detective drama “The Case of Investigator Nikitin” she played the role of actress Elektra Sysoeva. And in one of the episodes of the top-rated TV series “Kitchen,” she played the role of a girl, Natasha, hopelessly in love with the gay pastry chef Louis.

“I really love my heroines - sometimes funny and sad, happy and unhappy, who fall in love and make mistakes just like us,” admits Natalya. – I am a very happy person, I have never met bad people. I remember everyone who met me in life, helped me in difficult times, taught and mentored, rejoiced at my successes and was simply there when it was important to me.”

In 2013, Natalya Zemtsova took part in the creation of the multi-part project “Missing”, based on real events. In this action-packed film, she played one of the leading roles - Lieutenant Olga Kuznetsova, an employee of a special department for searching for people who left home and did not return.

In 2020, the actress was invited to play the main role in the detective melodrama “Get Married at Any Cost” based on the novel of the same name by Tatyana Polyakova.

In total, Zemtsova’s filmography includes about 30 works. Some of her latest projects are in the series “Swallow” and “Others”.

"Missing"

Among the films where Natalya took part, the television series “Missing” stands apart. This serial film, released in 2013, is one of many projects dedicated to the work of law enforcement agencies. However, this does not bother the actress at all; the main thing is that she has a favorite job.

In “Missing”, Natalya plays one of the central characters of the project - Olga Kuznetsova, who serves in the special department searching for missing people. Kuznetsova’s duties include recording all cases where people left home and did not return, and then try to find them using the available operational information.

Despite the fact that Zemtsova’s heroine is in the rank of lieutenant, thanks to her decisive character and ability to stand up for herself, Kuznetsova has every chance of rising to the rank of general. The ability to stand up for oneself, courage, courage are the distinctive qualities of this special department employee.

Personal life

Natalya tries to hide her personal life from the press, but this is not always possible. So, in June 2020, it became known that the actress married the lead singer of the group “Uma2Rman” Sergei Kristovsky. Although they met much earlier at one of the group’s concerts in Minsk. Their relationship developed very quickly and this was not prevented even by the fact that Sergei was married. After some time, Kristovsky realized that he could not live without Natalya and left the family. In 2014, when the couple was not yet officially registered, their son Ivan was born.

Natalya Zemtsova: I'm madly in love!

25-year-old beauty from the Eighties plans to go into business and buy a loft

Several young people are fighting for the heart of the charming brunette Inga from the series “The Eighties”. In her life, the performer of this role - actress Natalya ZEMTSOVA - had different love stories. The girl believes that without bright emotions it would be very boring.

— Natalya, your heroine Inga is a fashionable girl who loves flashy outfits. Off set, what clothes do you wear?

— Yes, the costumes in “The Eighties” are wonderful. They just make me go crazy! I would walk like this in my life, everything is so bright and unusual. I've always liked this style, there are a lot of things in my wardrobe that could be suitable for the series. For example, I am very greedy for stripes. When I come home from the store with a package, my friends always ask: “What’s there, another striped T-shirt?” And it often turns out that this is true.

— You once said that when you were filming the first season, you brought your mother’s dress to the set, and to the shooting of the second?

— Grandma’s pleated skirt. By the way, all my mother’s friends are already involved in the process of donating old outfits for the series; they call me and ask if things from those times are still needed. I always answer: “Send it!” By the way, modern things are also used. One day the props guys took a fancy to my handbag, which I brought from Cyprus; it looked like a suitcase. They even tried to take it away, but I promised that I would definitely bring it to the site and would not forget it at home. You’ll forget here, when I have keys, a phone, and everything else in this bag!

— I heard that you are studying at the higher design courses at the Moscow Architectural Institute.
Are you successfully mastering a second profession? — I learned so many new things! I had great pleasure when they taught us color schemes and graphics. I’ve already got a whole line of friends lined up asking me to design their apartment. In general, I always redo something when I move: I put up wallpaper, hang new paintings.

- Yours?

- Of all the ones that were drawn, I only have one left, because I usually give them away. I do not rule out that in the future my hobby may turn into a business. After all, our profession is such an unstable one: today there are offers, tomorrow there are none, and in order to be able to choose and not act just for the sake of money, you need to have additional income. There are a lot of ideas, the main thing is to ask yourself more often what exactly you want.

- And what do you want most?

— Now I really want to learn to write! Of course, if you lock me up for six months in some house and give me only a pen and a stack of paper, maybe I’ll have enough to write a novel. For now I write only short essays.

- About love?

- Of course. Where would we be without this?! Moreover, I am madly in love! And I prefer to fall in love in such a way as to suffer. Everything that is comfortable, quiet and calm is not for me. Probably, my life would be much simpler, but... I will always prefer unhappy and crazy love to all calm happy stories. Tests, including love ones, are necessary, because otherwise where do we get emotions in our profession?!

Mom Lena is my best friend

— Natasha, lately you have had a lot of movie offers.
What do you especially enjoy spending money on? — I never regret money spent on travel. Moreover, I can either stay in a five-star hotel or go into the forest with a tent. I still don’t feel sorry for the paints, which are not cheap at all. I also really love bags - I have soooo many of them! In general, I take things quite calmly, but I remember well the moment when I bought my first car. I sat behind the wheel, clutching it, because at first I was a terrible driver, and thought: “Lord, I bought this huge piece of iron for myself!” I immediately remembered my mother’s words: “When you buy yourself a car, you will understand what a thrill it is!” This is actually true!

— The next step will be your own apartment?

— In Moscow, of course, the prices are sky-high, but I still dream of having my own apartment, albeit a very small one. I would be happy to even buy someone’s attic and convert it into my own. And then, if everything goes well, one day I’ll buy a bigger apartment and move. But I won’t sell the first one, I’ll leave it as a workshop. I will come there and hide from the world.

Lion haircut

Recently, Natalya Zemtsova’s mother opened a grooming salon in Omsk, where they cut dogs and cats.

“She hung a photo of me with some dog on the door and was very pleased with her idea,” the actress smiles. — I brought a bunch of equipment and interior items from the house to this salon. Mom's salon is a success. By the way, I want to bring our white cat Denis there. But grandma is against it. I hope that sooner or later I will be able to insist that he get his hair cut. He has long white fur - he's a Siberian! — and I’m allergic to cat fur. But I can’t not touch this cat! So I sneeze, take pills, sneeze again and still touch him. I think my mom and I will come to an agreement and quietly give him a “lion” haircut: we’ll leave a tassel on his tail and a “mane.”

Interview

About Me:

“My dad is a boxing trainer. Every summer he and I went to a sports camp, where I got up at six in the morning and ran cross-country through the forest. I've always been a tomboy, just very gentle and sweet. Well, when I’m abandoned or betrayed, I always remember that I’m a daddy’s girl. This means I have to take the hit. In general, I try not to hide my feelings. For me, a great way to express them is through drawing. I started drawing in early childhood... I never draw to order, but only when I’m in the mood.”

“I have a family, I gave birth to a child and I consider this my super project. But this does not mean that I have stopped and am not developing further. I have many plans!”
