The positive thing is that I really love my job. As I already said, I’ve been in this business for 12 years, and I continue to be impressed by everything, and I like it! Every time I learn something new. For example, before I could only organize filming and live radio broadcasts for my students, but now I can do much more! I'm learning and developing all the time. Plus a schedule. For people working in show business, there are no standard days off; there is no such thing as free time. My phone rings 24 hours a day. It turns out that I am always online.
— How do you find an artist’s audience in other cities?
This is the job of a serious concert manager. I can't sit and call every city. I'm more of an active manager who spends a lot of time with people, artists and being involved in creative processes.
Again, you can influence the regions only with large gatherings in Moscow, St. Petersburg and other large cities. The “word of mouth” effect kicks in: people start talking about the performer and showing interest in his work. However, all this is subjective. In one city we may be well received, but in another a little worse….
For example, if an artist arrived the day before, then people have already spent their set aside thousand rubles, and it is not a fact that they will be ready to spend more. I am from Siberia myself, so I understand all the difficulties perfectly. After all, the standard of living in Moscow and in the outback is completely different.
— Do you have time for your personal life?
Unfortunately no, but that's my choice. If there is no time left for my personal life, then it’s my own fault. It turns out that my work interests me more than my personal life. But I am not deprived of attention and do not die from loneliness ( smiles
). On the contrary, I am surrounded by many interesting and bright people and friends. When I’m ready to leave for a family and raise children, then the time will appear, everything will come.
