Biography

TV viewers of the mid-2000s remembered Elena Starostina, first of all, from the talk show “The Domino Principle.” But her career is much more extensive - having started working on television back in the 1980s, the woman became established both as a TV presenter and as a professional actress.

Actress Elena Starostina

Elena Alekseevna Starostina was born in Volgograd on May 17, 1964. As a child, Lena was very artistic and always dreamed of working on television. However, after graduating from school, she first entered the music school, and then, after graduating from it, the Volgograd Institute of Civil Engineering.

However, the “non-core” higher education received in her youth and the move to Ulyanovsk did not force Elena to give up her dream. After working for some time at Ulyanovskavtodor, in 1986 the girl learned that a vacancy had appeared in the city for a television announcer.

The desire to get this particular job forced Elena to neglect formalities. The studio demanded male applicants and asked them to submit applications in writing, but Starostina came to the employers in person and stated that she wanted to work. Despite the confusion from the girl’s excessive courage, she was accepted. This is how Elena’s television biography began.

Actress Starostina and her son spoke about the evacuation of their car

Today in Moscow, police officers detained Muscovite Oleg Starostin, who climbed into his car when he was already being taken away by a tow truck. Correspondents of the “Emergency Call” program talked with his wife, TV presenter and actress Elena Starostina, and his son, Maxim Starostin, to find out the circumstances of the incident.

“Last night at 22:30 a neighbor called us and said that our car was being towed. The father immediately rushed out of his seat to see what was the matter,” said the son of the new “parkman.”

According to the young man, the car could not interfere with passers-by. In addition, he clarified that there was not a single prohibition sign within a radius of 50 meters.

“Last night I walked around the area around the house myself. There’s not a single sign there,” he said. According to him, there were other cars parked at night, but they decided to pick up their car with a tow truck. Maxim explained that his father ran out into the street “with virtually no outer clothing.”

“As I understand it, he hailed a taxi and said that we needed to go get a tow truck. They caught up with him in the VDNKh area. There, the father had already moved into his car,” the son said.

Maxim Starostin said that the police promised to remove the car from the tow truck and let the father go home after drawing up a report.

“The father complied with the conditions. He got out of the car, and they didn’t do anything. They just put him in a police car and drove off with a tow truck,” he emphasized.

At the moment, the car is in the impound lot, and Oleg Starostin is still in the police custody.

“As I heard, he will be given 15 days for opposing police officers. But he didn't resist. He was sitting in the car. When he got out of the car, he did not offer any physical resistance,” the young man explained.

Actress Elena Starostina said that the police said that the car was interfering with the passage of children in strollers: “Of course, at 11 o’clock at night the car “disturbs” everyone.” According to the woman, tow truck operators “go hunting every night and choose their prey.”

“This is my value judgment, but it seems to me that this is such a business! It seems to me that it looks like a gang of thieves because there is no common sense in what they are doing. I see only one meaning here - to make money.”

Earlier it was reported that the new “parkman” was taken to the hospital with a suspected heart attack.

“I asked him how he got into the car. And he says he doesn’t even remember how it happened. From injustice, arrogance, this unceremoniousness, his head was simply blown off,” Starostina explained.

According to her, her husband was brought to a state of passion and fainting: “He feels bad now. The police called an ambulance because he was already feeling bad there. We have already brought him pills there.”

The woman was inspired to take up classes by a news story that talked about a 70-year-old woman from China who started pole dancing at the age of 60 and has not stopped practicing since then.
