Pierre felt flattered by this. Anna Pavlovna, with her usual skill, arranged circles in her living room. The large circle, where Prince Vasily and the generals were, used a diplomat. Another mug was at the tea table. Two sisters - two different starts in life...
The future actress Lyubov Germanova overcame all the obstacles, difficulties and difficulties with ease. Now she was an acting student. Here she was much luckier than her older sister, because they had one dream between them. But Evdokia for a very long time did not manage to enter GITIS, where she so wanted to study. Then there were six long years of fruitless attempts.

Childhood and adolescence
Lyubov Germanova was born and raised in an intelligent Moscow family. Her father, Alexey Germanov, is a researcher, traveler, doctor of geological sciences. Mom, Galina Dashkevich, is a researcher. Lyubov has a 2-year older sister, Evdokia, who also became an actress.

The father left the family when the daughters were very young. Mom turned out to be absolutely unsuited to independent life, so the family lived quite modestly. But guests often gathered in the house, funny skit parties were held, performances were staged, in which the girls took an active part.

Despite the difference in character (Lyuba is quiet and calm, Dusya is eccentric and eccentric), both decided in early childhood that they would become actresses in the future. After graduating from school, Lyubov entered the acting department of VGIK on the first try, unlike her older sister, who became a student at GITIS only on the sixth attempt.

After admission, Lyubov Germanova becomes a student at an educational institution known throughout the Soviet Union. This is the famous VGIK. The choice she had been making for a long time was not made by chance: the film industry occupied a special place in her heart. Germanova also loved the theater, but the cinema overshadowed everything. Perhaps this happened because her first “cinema” experience was connected precisely with the filming of a film, and not with a theatrical production. In any case, it was her decision.
Having become a student, Lyubov Germanova, whose personal life raises constant questions among her fans, began studying with the greatest teachers of the last century - director Sergei Apollinarievich Gerasimov and actress Tamara Fedorovna Makarova. She will remember this time forever, because it was during these years that she received an endless amount of valuable advice that she still uses in her work today.
The beginning of a creative journey
The actress first appeared on the set at the age of fifteen, playing in two youth films - “The Intern” and “Minors.” She was delighted with the atmosphere reigning there and with the opportunity to show her characters quite vividly. Therefore, the issue of admission was resolved once and for all. And it should be noted that she never regretted it.
After graduating from VGIK, Germanova manages to act a lot. Today she has over 60 roles in her film collection. Despite the fact that these are mainly supporting roles, the actress is easily remembered for her ability to create interesting, rich images. She seems to get used to her characters, for a moment she lives their lives, adding something very subtle, but important from herself.

She played for the first time in the films “Minors” and “The Intern”. Then the young actress Lyubov Germanova barely celebrated her fifteenth birthday. Her first works were aimed at a youth audience. Other theatrical works
The actress worked at Oleg Tabakov's studio theater for more than 30 years. She played in the plays “The Inspector General”, “At the Bottom” and in many others. At the same time, she was involved in the productions of the Chekhov Theater “The Cherry Orchard” and “Mozart’s Last Mistake.”
One day, Evdokia Germanova went abroad, promising Tabakov to return at a certain time. However, she was late, disrupting the rehearsal of the new performance. Tabakov fired her. True, he restored it a few years later. Soon the actress received the title of Honored Artist.
Filming, filming, filming...
So, after her first films, being deeply impressed by everything that was happening, the question of where she should go, Lyubov Germanova decided once and for the rest of her life. Never, later recalling her long thoughts on this matter, did she regret the decision she made.
After receiving a diploma from VGIK, Germanova was very lucky: roles literally poured into her as if from a cornucopia. And she does not refuse the offers she receives, being confident that each role she plays will only add to her skill. Lyubov Germanova treated every character she played with great trepidation. Personal life, husband, children may have seemed a little less important to her than filming. Because she could no longer imagine her life without work.

From the roles of simple girls to the roles of countesses and queens
Today, the actress’s creative baggage includes over six dozen diverse roles. It is impossible not to clarify that most often these are supporting roles, but Lyubov Germanova could very easily and quickly be remembered by the audience thanks to her ability to create characters in which real human emotions and feelings lived. In some incomprehensible way, she managed to get used to them, live their lives right on the set, very carefully adding something very important and almost imperceptible from herself.
Her first great fame came in the early eighties, when Germanova was invited to play the role of Evdokia Lopukhina, the last Russian queen (really the last, because after her only empresses ascended the throne) and the first wife of Peter the Great. In a sense, it was a rather labor-intensive role, because first it was necessary to play the fear of marriage, then the short happiness of marriage, then being forcibly tonsured as a nun. But Lyubov Germanova played everything just perfectly. She then starred in two historical films of Soviet-German production, which viewers still watch with undying interest: “The Youth of Peter” and “At the Beginning of Glorious Deeds.”
