On October 3, British actress Lena Headey turned 41 years old. Lena has made a career in Hollywood, starring in films such as The Brothers Grimm and 300, but she is best known for joining the main cast of Game of Thrones as Queen Cersei Lannister. Headey amazed the audience with her courage and sexuality, deciding on explicit scenes that abound in fantasy dramas. Woman.ru presents other actresses from “Game of Thrones” who excite the imagination of the male half of the series’ audience.
Lena Headey, 41 years old
This year, Lena Headey celebrates the anniversary of her professional activity - 20 years ago, the actress made her debut in the British youth film “By the Water,” which immediately brought her fame. However, worldwide popularity came to her only thanks to the role of Queen Cersei Lannister in the series “Game of Thrones”. Lena created a memorable image of a devilishly beautiful queen, whose hand did not waver when it was necessary to kill her husband-king or send one of her enemies to the chopping block. This villainess was given a special piquancy by her illegal, from the point of view of generally accepted morality, relationship with her brother, Jamie Lannister.
On one of the American talk shows, Lena told how a stranger stopped her on one of the streets of Los Angeles: “Did you play Cersei Lannister?” - "Yes I". - “Well, you are rubbish!”
Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who played the role of Jamie Lannister, in an interview with the American magazine Entertainment Weekly revealed the secret that Lena was pregnant (in 2010, Headey gave birth to a son, Wiley, from her now ex-husband Peter Loughren) when filming began: “It was an amazing working experience.” . She is very sweet and smart, and also has a great sense of humor. She was already pregnant when filming began, but it wasn't long enough for you to notice. However, she had a stunt double for the sex scene.”
And even though the actress practically does not undress on screen (sex scenes with her participation are often limited to passionate kisses), her self-confidence and extraordinary, regal posture suggest that under Cersei’s long dresses there is a “hot thing” hiding! Lena herself spoke about her heroine in one of her interviews: “I have a theory that love and hate are inextricably intertwined in the Lannister family. For example, Cersei loves her younger brother, the dwarf Tyrion, in her own way, but she knows that he caused the death of her mother - that’s how she imagines it. And her closeness with Jamie is the essence of her desire to simply be close to someone and be loved. In fact, this family is so spoiled!

After fierce hand-to-hand combat, the remaining Stark forces take cover from enemy arrows behind a wall of corpses, but are surrounded by a Bolton phalanx bristling with spears. Wun Wun manages to make a hole in the shield wall, but the Stark cause seems lost until an army of knights of the Vale brought by Petyr and Sansa appears. Covering himself with a shield from Ramsay's arrows, John throws him to the ground and beats him. At night, Sansa visits the bound Ramsay at the kennel, who declares that cannibal dogs will not harm the owner, but Sansa reminds him that he himself did not feed them for a week, intending to treat the captives with meat. As the dogs tear apart Ramsay, Sansa leaves with satisfaction.
Episode 10

Daenerys orders Daario to rule in her name over Meereen and the rest of Slaver's Bay and appoints Tyrion as her Hand. Teaming up with the fleets of Dorne and House Tyrell, as well as the Greyjoy fleet, Daenerys' naval armada sets off for Westeros.
Emilia Clarke, 27 years old
While Briton Emilia Clarke is busy filming one of the best TV series in the world (according to many TV critics) “Game of Thrones,” her popularity among male fans is only growing. With the evolution of the image of Daenerys Targaryen or the “Mother of Dragons” in the fantasy drama - from a naive and timid blonde princess to a warlike leader of an entire people - the actress’s personal rating on the American portal Askmen also changed.
This authoritative site annually compiles lists of the most desirable women on the planet - and if in 2012 Emilia occupied a very modest 88th position (out of 100), then the very next year the beautiful Clark rose to 15th place in the ranking, and this year was recognized as the best of the year!
We know what exactly contributed to such an incredible rise: Emilia was no longer shy about filming in the nude, although at the beginning of the series she quite confidently seduced Jason Momoa, her on-screen husband, Khal Drogo. And in the third season of Game of Thrones, there is a stunning scene where the heroine Clarke decides to impress her new lover, Daario Naharis, with strength and authority and rises from the bathtub completely naked. According to eyewitnesses to the American portal Huffington Post, the actress played these takes without raising an eyebrow. It is not surprising that Emilia is not embarrassed - the girl is in great shape, which was confirmed by the votes of fans on the Askmen portal!
Sophie Turner, 18 years old
“People come up to me and tell me they don’t like me,” Sophie Turner laughed in a recent interview. “Although they only know my character.” Yes, fans of the series on forums and blogs are taking out all their disappointment on the 18-year-old actress, who, in their opinion, plays “too passive” and “pompous” Sansa Stark.
“I take it as a compliment that fans believe so much in what I do on screen. Although it’s a little strange,” Sophie admitted in an interview with the American portal Entertainment Weekly. What can you do, this is a side effect of the girl’s rapidly gaining momentum: the first role, and immediately in the large-scale film adaptation of “A Song of Ice and Fire” by George R. Martin - not bad for a start, right?
Sansa's performance has a very delicate appearance, an implicit beauty where it seems as if you see something beautiful just out of the corner of your eye. At the end of season 4, the girl finally realizes how attractive she is to men when she sees that her mother’s longtime admirer, Petyr Baelish, nicknamed “Littlefinger,” clearly has more than just “fatherly” sympathy for her. Sophie has already revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that Sansa is going to use her sexuality to manipulate Littlefinger in season five, but her contract won't allow her to say more. However, the actress hinted that familiar faces await the young Lady Stark in the new season. What she meant - we will find out only in April next year.
Sibel Kekilli, 34 years old
Sibel is a German actress of Turkish origin, like the star of another super popular series “The Magnificent Century” Meryem Uzerli. After graduating from high school in her hometown of Heilbronn (in the Hamburg region), where young Sibel was one of the best students, she went to work for the wastewater treatment commission. In parallel with this, in her own words, the girl “spun as best she could,” working as a saleswoman, cleaner, bartender, fashion model and... acting in pornographic films.
A few years later, having noticed a beauty in one of the shopping centers in Cologne, a certain casting manager asked Sibel if she would like to take part in the selection of actresses for the role in the film of the famous director Fatih Akin. She agreed and eventually beat out 350 other applicants for the role in the film “Head on the Wall”! This was the beginning of one of the most successful careers in German cinema.
However, after the award for the film “Head on the Wall” at the Berlin International Film Festival (in February 2004), the German tabloid Bild, under catchy headlines, published material about the past life of Sibel Kekilli, who starred in pornographic films under the pseudonym Dilara Kim. “It’s true: I was young and I needed money,” the young actress explained in an interview with the Frankfurt newspaper Allgemeinen Sonntagszeitung. This provoked a wave of discussion, condolences and expressions of solidarity and attracted significant public attention to both Fatih Akin's painting and Sibel herself. She continued to act in films, TV series and commercials on German television, until five years later a call rang in her apartment in Hamburg - and Sibel came to the Irish city of Belfast to film a new large-scale international project, Game of Thrones. Kekilli played the role of the prostitute Shai, the lover of the dwarf Tyrion Lannister - of course, according to the plot, Sibel had to be naked on the screen more than once, but the former porn star coped with this task perfectly.
Rose Leslie, 27 years old
Rose Leslie, best known for her role as Ygritte in the Game of Thrones series, is a girl of blue blood. She comes from the ancient Scottish clan of Arbuthnot-Leslie and grew up at the family's 15th-century Lickleyhead Castle. However, she didn’t turn up her nose and delighted fans of the fantasy drama with “hot” shots of a sex scene with her co-star, Kit Harrington, who played the role of Jon Snow.
By the way, Rose studied at a three-year acting course at the prestigious London Theater Academy, after which she received a Bachelor of Arts diploma and a specialization in stage combat. Now we understand why the savage Ygritte played by Leslie looks so sexy with a bow and arrow at the ready!
Before being invited to film Game of Thrones, Rose played in the British TV film Misadventures Abroad, the play Bedlam, and also in the small role of the maid Gwen in the popular British TV series Downton Abbey. But on the set of the fantasy drama, Rose gained not only fame, but also true love - the girl conquered the handsome Keith Harrington, whose character Rose deflowered. Apparently, Rose was very convincing in her role (by the way, she owns one of the most memorable lines from the entire series - “You don’t know anything, Jon Snow”), since the lovers remained together even after Leslie left the cast of the series.
“I cried in the bathroom”: Emilia Clarke spoke about the stress due to racy scenes in “Game of Thrones”
While Game of Thrones fans are discussing the filming of the prequel, the star of the saga, Emilia Clarke, has found herself in the spotlight due to her revelations about the filming.
Rating: 4.5 out of 5 based on 2 votes
It's no secret that actress Emilia Clarke, who played the role of Daenerys Targaryen, had a very hard time filming racy scenes where she had to be naked. And in an interview with Dax Shepard, she again complained about how difficult such episodes were for her.
Let us remember that she started filming Game of Thrones at the age of 23. And in the first season she gained worldwide fame, and the piquant scenes only increased attention to the aspiring artist. In a new conversation, the now 33-year-old actress spoke candidly about the difficult moments of filming the successful HBO project.
As Emilia Clarke admitted, when signing the contract, she did not agree in advance to the filming of nude scenes. But in fact, she had to participate in them under the pressure of the showrunners, who went to great lengths to persuade her.
I fought on the set, I said: “No, the sheet will remain in the frame!”, And they responded: “You don’t want to disappoint the Game of Thrones fans!”, And I was like: “Fuck you!”
Looking back, Emilia Clarke said that she would not redo a single episode. But she admits that there was too much nudity in the first season.
I got to work, and then they sent me the script, and then I realized what the problem would be. I had just graduated from drama school, so I took it all as a job: if the script has this scene, then it is needed. I persuaded myself, tried to reconcile myself. In the first season I had no idea what I was doing, what it all was. I had never been naked on a set before, and even among so many people. I didn’t know what to do, what was expected of me, what I wanted... In the first season, I filmed with the thought that I was unworthy of demanding anything and needing nothing. I would cry in the bathroom and then go back to the set and film the scene.
But she coped with this difficult task, and her co-star in the series, Jason Momoa, who played Khal Drogo, supported and reassured her in every possible way.
It was hard for me. But the scenes we did with Jason were beautiful because he was like, No, honey, this is not normal.
Considering everything she's been through, we hope that Emilia Clarke's hopes for this series were justified.

Natalie Dormer, 32 years old
A bright blonde who graced the cast of Game of Thrones in season 3, Natalie Dormer was born and raised in the small British city of Reading. It is curious that Natalie avoids talking about her biological father: from an early age she was raised by her mother and stepfather. London Academy of Dramatic Art graduate Natalie Dormer's film debut was the role of Victoria in the 2005 film Casanova, where her partners were Heath Ledger and Jeremy Irons.
Natalie also shone in the TV series “The Tudors,” “Silk,” and “Elementary,” until she received the role of Margery Tyrell in the drama “Game of Thrones.”
The British woman got a difficult heroine - the cunning and ambitious Margery skillfully manipulates men to get what she wants: for example, only she was able to restrain the violent temper of the betrothed, young King Joffrey (played by Jack Gleason). But Tyrell is also quite skilled in amorous matters - after the murder of the king, his younger brother Tommen becomes the ruler of Westeros, and Margery uses her sexuality to seduce the young man and capture his heart. We are waiting for season 5 to see how Margery will once again fight for influence over Tommen with his mother, Queen Cersei. In addition, Natalie Dormer will soon appear on world screens in the blockbuster “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay” - the beauty’s career is taking off!
Young Emilia Clarke
The British actress grew up in Berkshire, England. From the age of three she was interested in acting. She studied at the London Drama Centre. Let's take a look at some early photos of the future superstar.
Nathalie Emmanuel, 25 years old
Exotic beauty Nathalie Emmanuel was born in the town of Southend-on-Sea in the east of Great Britain. The actress's father has Caribbean and English roots, and her mother has Dominican and Spanish blood. Young Natalie first appeared on screen when she starred in a commercial for Vodafone, the largest British mobile operator. At that time, Natalie was already working in one of the London banks. A little later, she received the role of Nala in the acclaimed musical The Lion King. Also, the aspiring actress, who never studied this skill, played the troublemaker Charlie in the third season of the English series Misfits, and also appeared in the youth drama Hollyoaks as a drug addict and prostitute Sasha Valentina.
The producers of the series “Game of Thrones” could not help but notice such a colorful choice of roles for young Nathalie Emmanuel, and the role of Daenerys Targaryen’s new servant and translator, Missandei, was in the actress’s pocket.
Despite the abundance of sex scenes in the series, the heroine Natalie did not have to be naked until the middle of season 4, where a girl bathing in the river inadvertently won the heart of one of the commanders of Daenerys’s army, Gray Worm. It is unlikely that we will see a directly passionate scene between the lovers (Gray Worm is castrated - he belongs to the military caste of the Unsullied), but their relationship itself is very touching - besides, Missandei and actress Nathalie Emmanuel, we are sure, will show themselves in the future.
Carice van Houten, 38 years old
Carys was born into a Dutch family dedicated to working in television: her mother Margie is a TV presenter on one of the educational channels in Amsterdam, her father Theodor is a writer and TV scriptwriter. Carys's younger sister, Jelka, also became an actress and designer.
Carys wanted to become an actress at the age of five, when her father took her to see a film about Napoleon Bonaparte. The purposeful girl, having graduated with honors from the Lyceum in Utrecht, simultaneously entered two of the largest theater educational institutions in the Netherlands - the drama academies of Maastricht and Amsterdam. Caris chose Amsterdam, where she began her theater and singing career.
Her role in the television film Susie Q in 1999 brought Carice van Houten the prestigious Dutch Golden Calf Award for Best TV Actress. Despite her successes, Caris did not aspire to Hollywood, like many European actors - but in the end, van Houten starred in the blockbuster “Operation Valkyrie” along with Tom Cruise, and roles fell on her like from a cornucopia. It is not surprising that Carys got the role of the witch Melisandre in the international project “Game of Thrones” - the combination of the milky white skin of the Dutch woman with dark red hair was remembered by the audience for a long time. In addition, van Houten is not shy about undressing on screen - her character is such a temptress!
Personal life of Emilia Clarke
Since September 2012, she has been in close contact with Seth MacFarlane, but in March 2013, the end of their relationship was announced. This is understandable, many men are now available to her. But she doesn't have any time. Since October 2020, she has lived in London. In 2020, she purchased a house in Venice Beach in the City of Angels - USA. Apparently. she wants to pursue a career as an actress in Hollywood.
On July 13, 2020, in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the actress spoke about how her role in the television series Game of Thrones turned her into a feminist. Oh this fashion...
In a March 2020 article for The New Yorker, she revealed that she had an aneurysm that ruptured in 2011. She underwent emergency surgery and subsequently had speech problems. At one point, she couldn't even remember her own name. She had a second aneurysm, which was removed in 2013.
Oona Chaplin, 28 years old
Oona Chaplin was born in Madrid in the family of actress Geraldine Chaplin, daughter of the famous silent film actor Charlie Chaplin, and cinematographer Patricio Castilla. Little Una grew up in Spain and Switzerland and studied in Scotland and London. Her debut on television was a cameo role in the series “Ghosts,” and in film she also had a small role in the film “Quantum of Solace.” Una got more significant roles in the TV series “The Hour” and “Sherlock”.
Oona Chaplin is a real fan of the book series “A Song of Ice and Fire,” on which the TV series “Game of Thrones” is based. At first it was planned that the actress would play the role of Jane Westerling, but then the script was rewritten specifically for Una, this character did not appear in the series at all, and Robb’s lover became a certain Talisa Maegyr, who was played by Chaplin.
Before filming began, Una spoke admiringly in an interview with the American portal Entertainment Tonight about her heroine: “Talisa is that little thing in which the “young wolf” Robb Stark saw something under a layer of dirt.” Indeed, the remaining head of the Stark family, young Robb (played by Richard Madden) fell in love with Talisa so much that he went against his mother’s opinion and married the girl. But their story, which also includes one of the most passionate scenes in Game of Thrones (after which Una simply lay on the skins for several minutes, showing off her beautiful figure), has a sad ending: Robb and his pregnant wife are brutally killed at the end of the 3rd season. Some fans still can't get over the events of the Red Wedding!
Indira Varma, 41 years old
Indira Varma is a British actress, best known for her role in the film Kama Sutra: A Love Story. Having Italian roots on her mother’s side and Indian roots on her father’s side, Indira has a striking appearance that is unusual for British cinema. This allowed the actress to star in films based on Indian themes, which ultimately brought her popularity, as well as in American and British TV series: “Rome”, “Luther”, “Silk”.
In Game of Thrones, Indira played the role of Ellaria Sand, the mistress of Prince Oberyn Martell and the mother of his four daughters. A very experienced in love affairs, the illegitimate daughter of one of the Dornish lords, Ellaria was almost a palace prostitute when she found herself in the bed of Oberyn Martell. As young Sansa Stark noted, Sand was not a beauty, but “something about her involuntarily attracted the eye.”
Moreover, Ellaria has a kind of “trump card” - she, like her lover, does not hide her unconventional sexual orientation and in one of the scenes in a brothel (at the very beginning of the 4th season) meticulously chooses a girl for the pleasures of the night. We are sure that this exotic beauty will show her claws again - at the end of the season, Oberyn Martell lost a duel with Grigor Clegane, was killed, and Ellaria conceived a terrible revenge...
