Already in childhood, the boy was distinguished by his developed imagination. In his dreams, he became a test pilot, intelligence officer, actor and artist. The last profession attracted the guy the most, despite the fact that Kostya paid a lot of attention to sports - he went to boxing and judo sections.

After the 9th grade, the talented young man decided to get an education at the Orenburg Art School, but after the 2nd year he returned to school and completed his studies for 2 years.

A certificate of secondary education gave him the opportunity to enter the directing department of the Ufa Theater Academy in the workshop of Pyotr Shein. In 1998, Strelnikov got a job at the Russian Drama Theater. He was given small supporting roles, but this was not enough for the young actor. In parallel with his main job, Konstantin got a job as a DJ in a local restaurant.

Strelnikov went to Moscow for new impressions. On his first visit to the capital, the guy was going to conquer the admissions committee of the Shchukin School, but he failed: the applicant caught measles, after which a long period of rehabilitation was required. In 2000, he returned to Moscow and enrolled in Sergei Prokhanov’s course at GITIS.

The beginning of the path to acting

Immediately after graduating from school, he decided to enter the directing department of the Theater Academy in Ufa, which he graduated in 1998.

Already during his student days he performed on the stage of the State Drama Theater in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The actor worked there for four years until 2000, playing minor roles.

This state of affairs did not suit him, and he decided to try his luck in the capital, and after some time he moved to Moscow, having only a small baggage of small roles behind him.

A great desire to be a famous actor led him to the Russian Institute of Theater Arts, to the course of Sergei Borisovich Prokhanov, which he graduated in 2003.

First works

After graduating from GITIS, he began working at the Moscow State Theater of the Moon, which was founded and later managed by his mentor, S.B. Prokhanov.

In the theater he gets small roles, although thanks to his textured appearance he is very memorable to the audience. He was especially memorable in the role of Neznamov, in the famous play based on the play “Guilty Without Guilt” by A.N. Ostrovsky. He also participated in the productions of “Romeo and Juliet” and “The Thunderstorm”.

Simultaneously with his work in the theater, he begins to receive invitations to act in films. At first these were minor, episodic roles. The debut film for the actor is the film “Under the North Star” ; this was the first work of the young actor.

Formation of a film career

Sergei Alexandrovich Strelnikov began acting in films in the early 2000s. At first he played an inconspicuous role in the film “Bourgeois's Birthday 2”, then he announced himself in the Ukrainian TV series “European Convoy” and “Slackers”. Sergei’s more striking work was the role of policeman Kolya in the serial film “Guardian Angel”. Here he appeared in the same frame with such famous artists as Daria Poverennova, Vladislav Demchenko, Anatoly Rudenko, Lev Durov, Alexey Panin, Viktor Verzhbitsky and others. On the way to success, actor Sergei Strelnikov was involved in countless TV series, among which were: “Poor Nastya”, “The Return of Mukhtar”, “Witchcraft Love”, “Love on the Asphalt”. Starting a successful career

The turning point for the career of the young, still almost unknown, actor was the film, a mystical melodrama, “A Second Before...” . It was after this work that his career took off. In this film, he played the role of a very successful businessman who leaves his pregnant girlfriend because he is not ready to accept a child.

Here the mystical component of the picture manifests itself - Oleg practically dies in an accident, but higher powers save him, and now he is an angel who must atone for his sins with good deeds.

The star work for Sergei’s creative biography turned out to be the role of Vasily Ivanovich Chapaev in the drama about the hero of the Civil War “The Passion of Chapai”, thanks to which the artist became a laureate of the prestigious annual film award “Teletriumph”. Sergei prepared thoroughly for the role: he studied horse riding, wielding a saber, and also studied literature about Chapaev.

During his acquaintance with the image, Strelnikov developed a sympathy for his character, which helped the actor to truthfully and uniquely recreate the image on the screen. To achieve an external resemblance, the actor had to glue on a mustache every day, which led to severe irritation by the end of the filming period. During the filming there were some funny things to happen. For example, the actor sometimes had to act out explicit scenes in which Sergei Strelnikov and Olga Pavlovets, who played the role of Anna Steshenko, took part without a partner, which amused the film crew.

After this picture, the actor was noticed not only by the audience, but also became in demand among directors, who began to offer leading roles in new projects.

Former partners in the film spent more and more time together. The actor was 10 years older than his chosen one, but this did not become an obstacle to their love. The couple got married without too much publicity, quietly having a wedding in the capital of Belarus, Minsk, not even all the couple’s friends knew about it.

We found out about this much later, when Polina Syrkina changed her last name to her husband’s last name and this was noticed in the credits for one of the films with her participation.

The beginning of the journey in acting

A young man grew up in the city of Ufa. His parents are very simple people ; they have no connections with creativity. They devoted their entire lives to simple professions. Therefore, the childhood of the popular actor at that time was no different. He was a simple and fairly ordinary teenager, so he was no different from his peers. During school, the boy devoted a lot of time to sports.

Many predicted a career for him in this field. But around high school, he began to become interested in acting.

This hobby became a part of his life almost immediately. It was during this period that a young and promising guy enrolled in an acting studio, where his creative career began, which continues to this day. He chose his future profession when he realized that it was this activity that brought him the maximum amount of pleasure and enjoyment.

A couple of years later, when he was already in high school, he decided to tell his parents that he intended to enroll in the acting department and himself in his hometown. He began to receive his education, and at the same time he worked in the drama theater , where he received the first big roles in his life. But the young guy's ambitions were much broader. He dreamed of entering the capital and starting his acting career there. And then he, having made up his mind, enters GITIS.
