MORE ❯❯❯

Lyudmila Svitova was born in June 1986 in the Moscow region, the city of Shatura. There were no artists or people associated with art in the family. It is not known where the girl got the desire to become an actress, but already at an early age Lyudmila knew who she would be.

To do this, Lyudmila went to music school at the age of 7, believing that an actress must certainly be able to play an instrument and sing. And in middle school, Svitova began attending a theater club, where she learned the basics of acting.

Lyudmila Svitova

The girl prepared for admission and on the first attempt was enrolled in the Studio School at the Moscow Art Theater named after A.P. Chekhov. Lyudmila Svitova was accepted into the course of talented actors and teachers Dmitry Brusnikin and Roman Kozak. The graduate’s diploma works included roles in the plays “White Nights” based on Fyodor Dostoevsky and “Platonov or an Untitled Play” based on Anton Chekhov. For her participation in the second production, the girl was awarded a nomination for the Golden Leaf Award.

In 2007, the young actress passed the selection process and was accepted into the troupe of the Mossovet Theater.

Cinema

Lyudmila Svitova's film debut took place immediately after graduating from theater institute. The actress starred in the second part of Dmitry Fix’s comedy “Balzac’s Age, or All Men Are Theirs...”. This film became the Russian analogue of the world famous “Sex and the City” and won the love of television viewers.

In the Russian-Argentine TV series by Yuri Popovich “Tango for Three,” the artist got the main role. Her heroine Katya is the daughter of a prominent scientist Yuri Surkov, who is invited to Buenos Aires to work in a laboratory on an unknown virus.

In 2008, another film with Lyudmila Svitova in the title role was released. In Marina Suleymanova’s comedy melodrama “Lyubov.RU” she played the lover of two young people Sasha and Petya. The viewer saw the actress as a mischievous girl with ponytails named Sonya. Thanks to this work, Lyudmila was nominated for the Spirit of Fire film festival award for best actress.

In the film by Fluz Farkhshatov “Hear My Heart,” the heroine of Svitova was a modest girl named Tanya Klochkova from a small provincial town, working as a simple waitress in a roadside eatery.

The actress’s delicate and delicate facial features have more than once become a reason for directors to give her the role of Turgenev’s touching young lady. Thus, in the historical series “Institute of Noble Maidens” Lyudmila played the Russian noblewoman Glashenka.

"Jamaica"

Her role in the melodrama “Jamaica” was unusual for the artist’s role. She turned into a lively tomboyish girl, Natasha Dzhamaeva, who grows up on the street, sings songs, begs for alms and dreams of becoming a singer. At the age of 17, life sends her another test: the girl is sent to prison on false charges. Finding herself in the damp walls of the colony, the prisoner blindly falls in love with the investigator. But a wife and child are waiting for the man at home...

Lyudmila says about her difficult role: “You know, even before I was cast, I began to scroll through the image of the heroine in my head. I still remember this day: on the way home, I took a piece of paper and a pen and started making some sketches. In the first episodes, it’s hard to call Jamaica a girl, because by nature she is a real tomboy. But at the end of the series she will appear as a real lady who will change a lot internally...

I can’t use the same colors all the time, so every time I discover something new in myself in order to be different. By the way, in the case of the image of Natasha Dzhamaeva, our director helped me a lot! While rehearsing the role, I was guided by his demeanor.”

There were many difficult scenes in “Jamaica”: a fight in prison, stays in hospitals. “All the prison scenes were filmed in a real colony. It was really not easy: the atmosphere there, of course, was creepy. One day I completely refused to eat from prison dishes in the canteen, although the script required it. What’s also impressive is that in our hospitals everything is the same as if from the last century: the same furniture, the same iron utensils with the inscription “boiling water,” notes Svitova.

Instead of the actress, another girl sang the songs in the film: “Indeed, it’s not me who sings in the series. The wonderful Galya Bezruk (participant in the second Voice of the Country show) helped me. Recently I became interested in seeing how she records songs. And, you know, in the studio I got goosebumps. She did it with such warmth and love!”

"Casanova's Earring"

In 2020, the premiere of the four-part melodrama “Casanova’s Earring” took place, in which Lyudmila Svitova again played the main role.

Plot: History teacher Zhenya Kasatkin has no luck with girls. One day, a magical artifact falls into his hands - Casanova's Earring, which gives its owner the opportunity to get any woman he wants. Zhenya becomes the object of women's dreams and falls in love with the breathtaking beauty Lika. But over time, he realizes that his chosen one is superficial and empty. However, parting with Lika is not so easy, because she is under the influence of a magic earring. In the end, Zhenya manages to leave Lika and he realizes that his true love was there all along. This is Marta, a girl whom Zhenya knew for many years and considered his friend.

“My heroine Martha looked at Zhenya with loving eyes from childhood,” says the actress. “But neither her brother Dima nor her beloved Zhenya noticed this. When the trolleybus driver gave him a magic earring, all the females began to fall in love with him at first sight: young beauties, elderly women and even little girls! And it’s not easy for her to watch her beloved man spend time with other women.

While Zhenya lives on romantic adventures, unpleasant events occur in Martha’s life. Because of her honesty, she is forced to leave her job, and then, due to financial problems, she is ready to part with her favorite dolls that she sews...

I like that I had to play Martha’s sadness and confusion, and then her happy emotions. Of course, our story is still a bit of a fairy tale for adults. And there is a message in it that is useful for people who love unrequitedly: if you love, you should speak right away, and not suffer and suffer. After all, our film is just about this. The hero is trying to find his happiness, but it turns out that for many years it was under his nose.”

"Faith"

One of the actress’s latest works is the main role in the film “Vera.” Vera (Lyudmila Svitova) is the most ordinary girl. She lives in a communal apartment with her aunt, who raised her. A handsome and wealthy man, Oleg Belov (Ruslan Chernetsky), begins to court Vera. He introduces the girl into his circle, introduces her to her boss Pavel Markov and helps her get a job in his company. And soon Oleg proposes to Vera.

However, at the wedding of Vera and Oleg, it turns out that Pavel is Vera’s father, who abandoned her pregnant mother many years ago. Markov has a huge fortune. Despite the protests of his wife and daughter, Paul recognizes Vera and makes her heir. If only Vera knew how much trouble this inheritance would bring her!

Svitova already has more than 30 roles to her credit. You can also highlight her work in the films: “Cucumber Love”, “Made in the USSR”, “Love without further ado”, “Apple Orchard”, “Looking for a travel companion”, “Step-sister”, “I am a bodyguard”, “Hear my heart", "Object 11".

Svitova Lyudmila Gennadievna

Theater and film actress. She is familiar from the films “Tango for Three,” “Jamaica,” “Step-Sister.” She plays on the stage of the Mossovet Theater.

Lyudmila Svitova was born on June 7, 1986 in the city of Shatura, Moscow region. The girl grew up in a family that had nothing to do with art. But despite this, already at an early age Lyudmila knew who she would be. To do this, at the age of seven she went to music school, believing that an actress must certainly be able to play an instrument and sing. And in middle school she began attending a theater club, where she learned the basics of acting.

The girl prepared for admission and on the first try was enrolled in the Studio School at the Moscow Art Theater named after A.P. For her participation in the second production, the girl was nominated for the Golden Leaf Award. After receiving her diploma, in 2007 the young actress was selected and accepted into the troupe of the Mossovet Theater.

Lyudmila's theatrical career was rapidly gaining momentum. The artist was immediately involved in several productions simultaneously. Theatergoers first saw the actress in the play “Husband, Wife and Lover,” staged by Yuri Eremin based on the works of Russian classics. It is noteworthy that the actress’s appearance is truly “Turgenev”, which in the future influenced Lyudmila’s film career.

The stage debut was successful. In the play, the aspiring actress appeared with the eminent Valentin Gaft, whose skill made a great impression on the girl.

Lyudmila Svitova also appeared on the stage of the famous theater group in the productions “Silver Age”, “Foma Opiskin”, in the play “Polonaise, or An Evening of the Absurd” directed by Sergei Yursky. On the same stage Lyudmila Svitova plays together with Mikhail Filippov and Alexei Grishin.

The cinematic biography of Lyudmila Svitova begins with a cameo role in the series “Balzac's age, or All men are svo...”, the plot of which turned out to be similar to the American rating series “Sex and the City”. The cast for the film was stellar. The main roles were played by Yulia Menshova, Lada Dance, Alika Smekhova, Zhanna Epple. This allowed the young actress to set herself a high performing standard from the first days of working in cinema.

Then the artist began to be offered more noticeable images. Her role in the Russian-Argentine project “Tango for Three,” filmed by Yuri Popovich, made Svitova recognizable. Lyudmila reincarnated as the young daughter of researcher Yuri Surkov, who arrived in the capital of Argentina to develop a vaccine against an unknown disease. According to the plot, Svitova’s heroine is in love with a young man, Esteban.

In 2008, the main role in the comedy melodrama “Lyubov.RU” followed. Lyudmila Svitova embodied on the screen the image of the frivolous girl Sonya, who cannot decide on her feelings for two young men: Sasha and Peter. The role brought the actress a nomination for the Spirit of Fire Award in the category “Best Actress”.

After a number of episodic roles in the TV series “One Night of Love”, “Capercaillie. “New Again!”, “I am a Bodyguard”, “Tango with an Angel” Lyudmila was cast in the melodrama by Fluza Farkhshatova “Hear My Heart”. The heroine of Lyudmila is a girl from the provinces, working in a roadside cafe. One day Tanya Klochkova meets the capital's businessman Kirill and goes with her lover to Moscow.

The image of the “Turgenev girl” came in handy for Svitova on the set of the top-rated historical series “The Institute of Noble Maidens.” The noblewoman Glashenka turned out as if she had stepped out of the pages of the classics of the 19th century. Soon, the actress was given leading roles one after another in multi-genre projects: the mystical detective story “Object 11”, the lyrical comedy “Cucumber Love”, and the drama “Made in the USSR”.

The artist also appeared in the biographical drama “Comrade Stalin,” where the main role was played by Sergei Yursky, Lyudmila’s mentor from the Mossovet Theater. And in the film “Jamaica” Lyudmila appeared before the audience as a lively tomboyish girl who, throughout the course of the film, transforms into a real lady.

Working on the role was not easy for Lyudmila, since some of the scenes were filmed in an active women’s colony. For a long time, Svitova had trouble with the scene in the prison canteen, where she had to eat what the prisoners were given. The musical compositions of Natasha Svitova’s heroine were performed by Galina Bezruk, a participant in the second season of the TV show “The Voice”.

With her performance, the actress once again proved her talent for transformation and the ability to be organic in any role. In 2013, Lyudmila was nominated for the “TV Star” award in the “Best Actress” category.

No less interesting projects for the actress were the family saga “A Matter of Honor” with Alexei Chadov and Andrei Chadov in the lead roles and the melodramas “Love without further ado” and “Step-sister”. In 2020, the artist’s filmography included the role of the heroine Martha, the beloved school teacher Zhenya in the film “Casanova’s Earring.”

In 2020, the melodrama “Vera” was released, where Lyudmila played the main character, who turns out to be the illegitimate daughter of a wealthy entrepreneur. Further, in 2020, she starred in the detective series “Caspian 24” together with Anastasia Zavorotnyuk and Leonid Agutin.
