Actor biography
Goronok Mark was born in 1973. After school he graduated from the St. Petersburg Theater Academy. He studied in the creative workshop of Dmitry Astrakhan, a famous director and actor.
It was in his film that he appeared for the first time on the big screen. His debut was the role of young Timoshin in the 1993 drama “You Are the Only One for Me.”
Real fame came to him in 1995 after the role of Petya Smirnov in the comedy melodrama by Dmitry Astrakhan “Everything will be fine!” The third-year actor received the main role, which he performed in a duet with Olga Ponizova.
They played the roles of young people who live in an old hostel in a small provincial town. Events in the film begin to develop after Kolya Orlov (actor Anatoly Zhuravlev) returns from the army. He is preparing to marry his girlfriend, who waited for him from the army.
At this time, the famous businessman Konstantin Smirnov, who himself once lived in the same hostel, comes to the city. He visits his first love, and this is Kolya’s mother.
The son of this businessman is a talented young guy Petya, he is played by Goronok Mark. They predict a great future for him; he is already a Nobel Prize laureate. Petya falls in love with Olya, the girl has mutual feelings for him. At the same time, it is difficult for her to choose between the young genius and her fiancé, whom she has been waiting for two years to return from the army.
The wedding still took place. But when Petya comes to congratulate the newlyweds, Olya leaves with him. They begin to live happily abroad, and Kolya goes to work at a factory, which was originally destined for him.
The picture was a great success. It was shown on television in two versions - one-episode and two-episode.

An artist in a colony knocked together coffins
Everyone remembered him as a young man with a clear, open look, a charming smile, and a pleasant voice. Fragile, bright, sincere. Today, actor Mark GORONOK bears little resemblance to his characters from Dmitry ASTRAKHAN’s films “Everything will be fine” and “You’re the only one I have.” Now he is almost two decades older than his characters, and he has a difficult life behind him, with bumps and trips, difficulties and problems that he most often created for himself. But, like 20 years ago, Mark, waving his hand, says: “Everything will be fine! I know this for sure..."
Goronok points out first . — Broken teeth, ribs. Yes, I'm all broken! This is a knife, this is a bullet...
- Where are you like this?
- I was boxing. He easily received the title of candidate master of sports and entered the Olympic reserve. But then he was thrown out in disgrace for fighting. Although I still don’t consider myself guilty. Late in the evening he returned home with the Electronics video recorder under his arm and in his father’s leather jacket. I didn’t reach the entrance only a couple of meters. Three guys appeared from somewhere, and I could tell from their faces that they were going to rob. He honestly warned: “Move away, I’m boxing, as soon as I hit you, you won’t make any bones.” But I was 14, and they were 17 years old, so the raiders underestimated my strength. I carefully placed the VCR on the steps and entered into an unequal battle.
We fought like in Western militants - not for life, but for death. At some point, I missed a blow and felt a knife enter my back. The funny thing is, I didn’t even think about the fact that I could die. My head was spinning: “They ruined daddy’s jacket, you bastards!” This gave me determination.
The artist is tired of organizing other people's holidays |
I gathered the rest of my strength and stabbed the guy who stabbed me between the eyes.
I don’t remember anything further. A few days later, an investigator came to the hospital where I was being treated for my wound. It turned out that the robber could go blind, and the retina began to detach. I really had a bad blow. The law enforcement officer said: “This is an excess of permissible self-defense.” I tried to justify myself, I said that he hit me with a knife and there were three of them!
The investigator did not want to listen: “There is no evidence, no witnesses. The victim claims that he was walking alone, and you provoked the fight!”
So it was all my fault. The coach said harshly: “We don’t raise killers! Get out!” So not only did my dream of becoming a professional athlete collapse, my faith in justice collapsed. And although I was not imprisoned, my life took a turn for the worse.
I started drinking port wine, singing criminal songs, fighting wall to wall, and making friends with “real boys.” We assembled motorcycles and rode them across bridges at the moment when the bridges were raised: we jumped straight over the abyss over the Neva. The police caught us. In short, we had a blast.
- How did it end?
- As expected. I am ashamed today to remember all these “feats”, but for stealing a car I was sent to the Kolpino colony. There, the boys and I worked in a workshop, knocking together coffins! Thanks to my parents: they did everything so that instead of two years I would serve nine months. This was enough for me to conclude: prison is not the best place for correction. But this is a school of life. By the way, I was allowed to finish high school, despite my criminal record. Passed the exams as an external student.
In the film “You Are the Only One for Me” (1993), the characters of Mark GORONK and Maria LOBACHEVA experienced a passionate romance |
Zakharov kicked out four times
— In Moscow you worked at Lenkom...
- Yes, Mark Zakharov kicked me out of the office four times, and Alexander Zbruev , to whom I complained, said: go and ask again! This was a check for lice. That is, do I really want to work in this particular theater? Mark Anatolyevich checked other actors in the same way. They are thrown out the door, and they are thrown out the window.
— How did the Lenkom troupe receive you?
- Badly. I was an outcast. That’s why in Moscow I was very offended when they said about me, that, they say, a boy came from the periphery. This is despite the fact that I lived behind the scenes at the Bolshoi Drama Theater from the age of ten - my grandmother worked at the theater. But this is in St. Petersburg. I always wanted to say: “You yourself are the periphery, St. Petersburg is the cultural capital!” And the fact that Moscow is on seven hills... Well, this is a good big fair. And yet I had the opportunity to work with Petrovich. That's what we called Nikolai Petrovich Karachentsov . And in “Figaro” I played together with Dima Pevtsov .
In the film “Everything will be fine” (1995), the father of the hero Mark was played by Alexander ZBRUEV |
— You rented an apartment in Moscow.
How did you spend your time after work? — “Lenkom” was a theater that did not allow “use.” At the morning rehearsal, you must correspond to the rhythm that Petrovich demanded. Everything is serious there: singing lessons, choreography. This is Mark Anatolyevich’s requirement. He trains actors, and he does it right. Then, working in other theaters, I realized how you can play the fool. Unfortunately, after nine months my acting life in this best theater in the country ended. I got sick and had to move to St. Petersburg for a year and a half, and this was tantamount to death. After recovery, I was not expected in Moscow.
— Do you remember communicating with any other director?
— Once Konstantin Raikin asked: “Do you want to go to Satyricon?” And I am young, arrogant. He answered: “Konstantin Arkadyevich, Satyricon is a well-trimmed lawn. You only have one tulip. It is you. I won’t be a lawn.” Raikin is a smart person. He just smiled.
After Moscow they didn’t take me to the BDT. At the same time, Pirozhok told me: “Mark, you’re a good guy, but...” Pirozhok is Kirill Yuryevich Lavrov . They played billiards with a fellow student for pies. He lost, and that's why he was nicknamed Pie. Only those closest to him had the right to do this... And if I called him that, he probably would have been offended. But even without this I didn’t get into the BDT.

Three components of happiness
— Who are you grateful to in life?
— Dmitry Khananovich Astrakhan . He always believed that acting could not be taught. Astrakhan said: “I can give you a craft, but everything else comes from God.” He looked at something in each of us... Many classmates simply call him Dima - after all, he was a little older than us. And I will always call him Dmitry Khananovich.
Astrakhan recruited all these fighting guys. Andrey Fedortsov entered LGITMiK when he was 28 years old! Astrakhan saw an actor in him. Although Andrei was short, he always played with some kind of rabbits. The man is the most decent!
I called Mishka Porechenkov He always had a broken nose, and he also drank. But he is not alone. We all had a good drink. Misha was a professional boxer. We’ll give in, word for word, and then we’ll start fighting. Either he gives it to me, or I give it to him. But compared to me, he was so healthy!
Kostya Khabensky wore training pants with his knees extended. We laughed constantly. I told him: “Khaba, well, put on normal pants! Maybe you should buy them?” And Kostya seemed to be a man not of this world. But, really, very talented. Khaba from the institute is sensitive to roles.
Today next to Mark is the beautiful Eugenia. His new lover tries to support him in everything |
Zhenya Sidikhin was, perhaps, the only one who did not immediately understand me and was wary at first.
Once I caught a sneaky guy, and I was wearing a vest with a vest on top. Zhenya served in Afghanistan and was shell-shocked. So he made a complaint against me for my appearance. We went with him, like, “to talk,” we had a bite, and then... we became friends. Evgeniy is a very interesting person. After a shell shock, there is such a thing, as Zhenya called it, “an old woman who drives.” This old woman often “took” Zhenya around. Anka Banshchikova normally. There are women who use their charms to achieve their goals. This is her personal matter. She's a good girl. By the way, Anya was called a vacuum cleaner.
- In terms of?
- Guess for yourself. Even then, I to Max Leonidov , who was planning to marry her: “Max, where are you going? It’s a vacuum cleaner!”
— In St. Petersburg you played with many stars...
- Yes, I was lucky in this. At the Akimov Comedy Theater I was lucky enough to work with Alexander Demyanenko . He always called everyone “you.” He said: “Mark, I beg you, don’t compare me with Shurik.” He gave the impression of a very lonely man.
When hunting, it's better to chase one hare |
Uncle Misha Svetin , a most brilliant actor... I remember we played with him in the play “Twelfth Night” based on Shakespeare . The audience for the matinee performances was mostly schoolchildren. One day, apparently having decided to have fun, they began throwing bullets at us from a shooting range. Uncle Misha endured it for a long time. Finally he couldn’t stand it and exploded: “Fuck you! Freaks, why did you come here?!” Uncle Misha’s partner, People’s Artist of the Russian Federation Svetlana Karpinskaya, was speechless.
Svetin never allowed himself to swear in front of women. — You practically did not live with your second wife after the wedding. What's happened?
— Vera is 15 years younger than me. She had just been born when I got out of prison. And Vera appeared in my life immediately after my divorce from my first wife Lilya. The breakup with her was very painful. And here is this girl, Vera. At one point, I saw in her a person who really cared about me, and fell in love with her. Vera's parents were against it because I had a bare bottom. When he left his first wife, he didn’t take anything. And then I decided that I would break myself into pieces, but I would make the wedding such that Vera’s girlfriends and parents would choke in drool. The toastmaster was Dmitry Astrakhan. And four days later the wife disappeared. She went to visit relatives.
At the wedding, the future with Vera seemed happy and cloudless to Mark |
I asked her to come back, but she didn't come back.
And I even prepared my body for conceiving a child: I didn’t drink, I didn’t smoke. I thought that suddenly the happiness I dreamed of would come. But when I came to pick her up, I realized that no one cared about me. People just walked around at a beautiful wedding. It’s all simple: she didn’t love me at all! — Your company for organizing holidays is known not only in St. Petersburg. Don’t you really want to organize holidays for people anymore?
- Tired of it! All my dreams are theater. I want to create my own. The most golden times were when I worked at the Buff Theater.
- What do you want from life?
— “More money”, to be honest, between us girls. Although money is not an end in itself. But they give freedom. And a little bit of happiness too. Happiness lies in family, children and work. These are the three components of happiness. So that in the morning you want to go to work, and from work you want to run home.
Work in the theater
Since 1992, Goronok Mark has been an actor at the St. Petersburg Academic Theater named after Akimov.
He was noted for his roles in the productions “Can I Hope?”, “Oorfene Deuce and His Wooden Soldiers”, “The Fourth Planet”, “Tartarin of Tarascon”, “Zoyka’s Apartment”, “The Alchemists”, “A Thief in Paradise”.

Mark Goronok today
2018 again reminded television viewers in our country of the once popular actor. And all thanks to one of the talk shows on Channel One. It was attended by Mark himself, his current wife Anna and Veronica Golubeva, who claimed that the father of her daughter was Goronok. It just so happened that the latter fact was not confirmed. But, as it turned out, in the ideal family of Mark and Anna, who, by the way, gave birth to the artist’s daughter Lisa in 2015, not everything is in order either. It turned out that the wife was unfaithful to her husband. And after a loud disagreement, Anna filed for divorce.
Mark Goronok with his daughter Elizaveta
The biography of actor Mark Goronok is like a kaleidoscope, in which happy events alternate with tragic ones. The same can be said about his personal life, although he is currently officially married. It is unknown how the family drama that is playing out at the moment will end, but I want to believe that this time Mark will certainly be lucky and avoid a bad ending.

We, in turn, wish the talented artist strength and patience, and also express our hope to see him again in the leading roles of the most popular projects.
Film roles
After the success of the films “You Are the Only One for Me” and “Everything Will Be Fine,” the actor began to be actively invited to many Russian films.
In 1996, he appeared in Dmitry Astrakhan’s drama “From Hell to Hell.” This picture tells about Polish and Jewish families. Childless Poles hide a Jewish girl when the Germans take her family to a camp.
After the war, the parents return safe and sound. However, their daughter is sure that she is Polish; she does not recognize or recognize her biological parents. Moreover, the attitudes of the Poles themselves towards Jews who survived the concentration camps are changing greatly. Increasingly, they result in large-scale pogroms. Mark Goronok appears in this film in the cameo role of Zyuzik.
The path to the top
After graduating in 1992, the graduate entered the St. Petersburg Theater Academy and at the same time became an actor at the Akimov Academic Theater in his hometown. For four years, Mark played in “The Fourth Planet”, “Can I Hope?”, “Tartar of Tarascon”, “Zoyka’s Apartment”.
Goronok studied in Dmitry Astrakhan's class. Participation in his films brought real fame to the aspiring actor. Mark began acting in films during her student years. Her debut role in the 1993 melodramatic film “I Have Only You” brought her popularity.
Mark played the main character in his youth. In his mature years, Evgeny Timoshin was played by Alexander Zbruev.
In the story, a forty-year-old engineer living in almost poverty receives news that a citizen of the United States has long been in love with him. A girl who has become a successful and wealthy businesswoman comes to her chosen one.
Goronok became even more popular after performing as one of the key characters in the 1995 melodramatic comedy “Everything will be fine!” In it, the actor got a young Nobel laureate, the son of an oligarch, Pyotr Smirnov. The hero comes to his father’s hometown with him and manages to steal the girl from under the aisle.
In 1996, the actor participated in the Astrakhan drama “From Hell to Hell.” In the story, during the war, the Poles hide a Jewish girl from a family driven into a camp. The parents returned alive and found their daughter. But the girl is sure that the Polish girl does not recognize her parents and does not want to acknowledge them. The attitude of the Poles towards Jews also changed radically, with increasingly large-scale pogroms. Goronok has a small role in the film. His character is Zyuzik.
"Waiting hall"
It is worth admitting that the actor was one of director Dmitry Astrakhan’s favorites. He invited him to almost every film of his.
In 1998, he plays Ilya, Konovalova’s assistant, a Jew, in the ten-episode melodrama “Waiting Room.”
This is the story of the passengers of one train, which are delayed indefinitely in a small provincial town due to a report of a mine on the main line. Initially it was planned that the parking would be only two minutes. But due to unforeseen circumstances, the heroes were delayed indefinitely. Among the passengers are billionaire Galina Vasilievna, her assistant is played by Mark, as well as a famous athlete, a major banker, and a director with a huge film crew.
Residents of a small town are trying to grab an unexpected chance to benefit from this delay. The mayor dreams of getting some money for the treasury, the director of the orphanage is counting on help in repairing the roof, the policeman dreams of moving up the career ladder, the orphanage student dreams of starting a career as an actress, the aspiring bodybuilder wants to begin her path to athletic heights.
Personal life
Mark Goronok does not like to talk about his first wife, her influence on his biography and personal life. You can’t find a photo of this woman on the Internet. Only the name Lily is known. After the artist found himself out of work due to hepatitis, his mother Galina and his common-law wife Lilya became his support. It was for them that he tried to live. But everything changed when his wife left Mark. Then he started drinking heavily again. I could spend the night with homeless people for weeks and go far out into the countryside.
Everything changed in 2005, when a passionate affair happened between Mark and actress Veronica Golubeva. It would seem that the lovers are doomed to be together, but then evil fate intervened. Goronka was brutally beaten in a street fight. The condition was so severe that Mark could remain disabled for life. Victoria could not bear this even due to the slander of her friends, and even being pregnant, she left the man. 12 years later, the actor has never forgiven her for this.
Mark Goronok with his wife Vera
In 2009, changes occurred in the artist’s personal life again; he met a girl who was 15 years younger than him. Her name was Vera, and she was a student at the Institute of Landscape Design. The new friend actively helped Mark in business and with her, the Mark and Guyver agency began to flourish.
Despite the age difference, Goronok was sure that he had finally found his happiness. Verochka was very devoted to him, although her family was embarrassed by the actor’s financial insolvency.
And to prove the opposite, in 2011 Mark arranges an incredible wedding celebration for Vera and her loved ones. There was a huge number of invited guests, and Dmitry Astrakhanov himself acted as toastmaster.

Unfortunately, family life did not work out. At first, the couple lived together with Mark’s mother Galina, but when their beloved women quarreled, Goronok followed his wife to her relatives’ house. There was no happiness there either. One day the couple quarreled so much that Vera went to live with her older brother. And when Mark tried to win her back, she said that she decided to file for divorce. The marriage could not be saved.

Actor's illness
The biography of Mark Goronok was full of complex and difficult episodes. At one of the rehearsals at the theater, he felt unwell. It turned out that he was struck by the skin disease psoriasis.
During treatment, the actor had to undergo a blood transfusion. By fateful chance, at that moment a serious infection was introduced into the body. Mark fell ill with hepatitis. The course of treatment took one and a half months. During this time he lost 18 kilograms. It took a full year and a half to fully recover.
Due to health problems, Mark lost his job. By that time he was playing at the Lenkom Theater, but a long absence led to his expulsion from the troupe. Moreover, they said that they would not take him back even after he recovered.
Left without work, Mark Goronok, whose photo is in this article, began to abuse alcohol. It took several years to finally recover and return to creative work. During this time, Mark changed many professions - he worked as a driver, even as a laborer at a factory.
Thanks to love, Mark Goronok returned to the acting profession. His personal life improved when he met a girl named Lilia. She supported him in difficult times, believed that he was able to cope, and all difficulties were only temporary. And so it happened. Mark Goronok literally perked up. The actor’s biography and personal life changed dramatically after that.
Disease
As the artist himself says, he suffered from psoriasis since childhood. After moving to Moscow, for the sake of his career, Mark decided to undergo a blood transfusion in one of the elite clinics in the capital. The procedure was unsuccessful and the man was infected with hepatitis B. This was discovered in St. Petersburg when the actor suddenly became ill. Then, literally, everything was at risk - Mark Goronok’s acting biography, his personal life and even his dreams of children. The consequences of the unsuccessful procedure were so serious that the artist lost eighteen kilograms in weight.

The rehabilitation period lasted more than a year and a half. And when the man finally recovered, he immediately rushed to call Mark Zakharov. The answer from the director of the Lenkom Theater shocked him - “Your place is taken! You've been sick for too long." There was no place for the actor in the theaters of his native St. Petersburg either. And in order to feed his family, Mark got a job as a taxi driver and glazing loggias.
Second Life
Mark was unable to immediately return to work as a theater and film actor. But he opened his own creative center. He began releasing CDs with dramatizations of classical works.
At the same time, he was involved in several public scandals, which, on the one hand, damaged his reputation, and on the other, made many of his fans remember his talent and early bright work in cinema. The main scandal occurred in 2012, when he gave an interview to the magazine Caravan of Stories. During a conversation with a journalist, Goronok credited himself with serving in the Airborne Forces. He also claimed that he participated in special operations in the Transcaucasian Military District. It was all a lie. After this incident, Mark began to be called a “mummer,” since he pretended to be a combat veteran, although he had no reason for this.
Recently, the actor can mainly be seen as the host of corporate events. This is how he earns his living. He never managed to return to a full-time career in theater and cinema.
short biography
Born on November 17, 1973 in the closed town of Tomsk 7 in a family of teachers. Dad was a violinist, conductor and taught at a music school, mother taught children drawing. When Mark was still little, the family moved to Leningrad, but his parents soon divorced. The boy was terribly worried about the separation of his parents and pathologically missed his father for many years. Having matured, he entered the St. Petersburg Theater Academy, in the workshop of Dmitry Astrakhan. In his third year, he made his film debut, playing the main role in his teacher’s film “Everything will be fine.” The film became very popular, it was often shown on TV, and in the difficult nineties the film sounded like an anthem of hope for the best.
Mark’s career took off, he starred in the next two Astrakhan films: “Everything will be fine” and “From Hell to Hell.” The young artist began to be asked for autographs right on the street, and he decided that it was time to conquer Moscow. On the set of Astrakhan, Goronok became friends with the actor Aleksand Zbruev, and therefore began to ask Mark Zakharov to lobby for him in order to get into the famous Lenkom troupe. They say that Zakharov kicked Mark Goronok out of his office several times, but in the end he still agreed to take the impudent actor to the theater. The actor recalls that working at Lenkom was the happiest time in his life. To get rid of the skin disease psoriasis, which tormented Mark Goronok, someone advised him to resort to a quickly effective treatment - a blood transfusion. Unfortunately, in the hospital he contracted hepatitis and almost lost his life; it took him a year and a half to restore his health; Mark lost 20 kg. He dropped out of the profession for a long time and was no longer able to return to the theater; film roles were also no longer offered. It seemed like life was falling apart. In 2002, Joseph Shtokbant invited Mark to his Buff theater. This was a real salvation for Mark's soul. Over the course of several years, he played three main roles and even staged the children's play “The Jungle” himself. Later, Goronok opened his own creative center, which produces discs with dramatizations of classical works.
