BIOGRAPHY
Dmitry Orlov was born into the family of an engineer.
As a child, what he did best was... mischief. To avoid serious problems, the mother took the boy to classes at the Vyacheslav Spesivtsev Theater-Studio on Krasnaya Presnya. There his energy and imagination were put into the right direction, and soon the pranks were forgotten. But my interest in art and creativity awoke. In the fifth grade, Dmitry starred in a movie for the first time. It was a short anti-war film “The Wall” - a course work for a VGIK student. We used the first money we earned to install a telephone at home and still have some left over to buy a guitar.
When Dima was 15 years old, trouble happened in the family - his father died. Dmitry did his best to help his mother and grandmother raise their younger sisters and brother. I had to postpone entering college and go to work.
When the most difficult thing was left behind, Orlov entered VGIK. In 1996 he completed the course of M. Gluzsky.
Biography and personal life of Dmitry Orlov
Biography and personal life of Dmitry Orlov spent his entire life in Moscow. He grew up as an active child and had irrepressible energy. In the courtyard of the house, the boy was known as the instigator of fights; all his peers were afraid of him. Mother - Lyudmila Orlova, in order to put her son’s energy in the right direction, enrolled him in various sections, reducing Dima’s free time to the maximum. To the surprise of those around him, the boy discovered real talent as an actor. He enjoyed attending the theater studio for schoolchildren. At the age of nine, he made his debut in a short film, a graduate of VGIK. Even then Orlov decided what he wanted to become.
However, admission to a theater university had to be postponed indefinitely. His father, Anatoly Sborets, dies. All worries about the family fell on Dima's shoulders. He is the eldest child; besides him, two more sisters and a brother grew up.
Dmitry Orlov did not give up his dream of becoming an actor. After he helped his sisters get a legal education, he himself became a student at VGIK.
MOVIE
Success did not come to the actor immediately; for a long time he had to get by with various part-time jobs. But in 2002, Orlov played a cameo role in the film “Brother-2”, and there were more offers. Soon Dmitry was invited to the main role in the film “Sky. Airplane. Girl,” then he played submarine commander Alexander Marinin in the military drama “First After God.” These works brought the actor wide fame.
Today, the actor’s filmography includes more than 60 films. In September 2020, a new series with the participation of Dmitry Orlov, “Good Intentions,” will be released on the Rossiya TV channel. He plays Semyon Firsov, the eldest son of the owner of the town of Zaozersk. Semyon fell in love with a nightclub dancer Inga (Glafira Tarkhanova). This love was not mutual, but he still persuaded the girl to marry him. There was no great happiness, but when the young architect Bogdan (Vladimir Gorislavets) arrived in Zaozersk, a real threat loomed over the Firsov family.
Acting career
In 1996, Dmitry entered VGIK, where he began to study acting. And already in 2000, his full-fledged professional career began on stage and on the big screen. Orlov’s debut film role was the role of a bandit in Alexei Balabanov’s film “Brother-2”. Despite the fact that the appearance was episodic, such a start could be the envy of many aspiring actors.
Still from the film “Sisters”
Then Dmitry began to focus on television, where it was much easier to break through. He gets a minor role in the series “Sisters”, after which the actor’s business rapidly goes uphill. But the real breakthrough was participation in the film by Vera Strozheva and Renata Litvinova “Once again about love” - “Sky. Airplane. Young woman". And after that they started talking about Dmitry as a new rising star.
Dmitry's track record includes films of various genres, be it melodramas or action films. He easily transformed himself into any role, delighting fans with the versatility of his talent. The actor worked tirelessly, giving several roles a year. But by the beginning of the new decade, he almost completely turned towards television, abandoning attempts to break into the big screen. He has roles in such hit series as “Without Witnesses”, “My Mommy” and “Woman’s Revolt, or the War in Novoselkovo”. Thus, he becomes one of the key figures for domestic melodramatic series.
BUSINESS
In 2014, it became known that Dmitry Orlov and designer Anna Weiner opened an atelier in Moscow for repairing and sewing exclusive clothes. The actor admitted that he had purchased dresses made by Weiner more than once for his girlfriend and sisters.
“One day I thought: how difficult it is to find in stores today something that suits both the quality of the material and the style! So he suggested that Anna open a studio and invested money in it. Our prices are not outrageous, and sewing an outfit of any complexity is much cheaper than buying a ready-made one at the Central Department Store,” Orlov explained.
Earlier, in an interview with StarHit magazine, the actor said that he was going to open a martial arts club. Probably, this idea was not implemented, in any case, there was no news about it.
Family and children of Dmitry Orlov
Dmitry is from a large family. When he was a teenager, his father died. Since he was the eldest child, he had to grow up early and help his mother and grandmother not only raise his sisters and brother, but also earn a living. It was the death of his father that made Orlov a responsible person with a heightened sense of duty.
The family and children of Dmitry Orlov come first. Handsome, fit, he always attracted the attention of girls. But he got married quite late. Unfortunately, the actor's first marriage ended in divorce. However, fans believe that with his new lover, he will have a long and happy married life.

Dmitry Orlov's ex-wife - Irina Pegova
The ex-wife of Dmitry Orlov, Irina Pegova, is a Russian actress. She became the actor's first great love. Their fateful meeting took place at the Warsaw Film Festival, where their colleagues came to present Russian films. They started talking, began to see each other every day, and returned to Moscow with the firm intention of living together.
The young people were happy together, but Dmitry was in no hurry to propose to Tatyana. Even when the actress spoke about her pregnancy, Orlov was happy, but continued to remain silent, because he did not understand the importance of the wedding for the girls. Dima’s sister helped save the situation by asking how long he was going to torture Irina.
In 2005, the actors got married and a girl was born. Six years later, the press received information that the union of Orlov and Pegova was bursting at the seams. Their divorce proceedings were long and scandalous. Former spouses divided property through the court and decided with whom the joint child would live. Irina managed to win an apartment, a house and most of the money. Despite mutual accusations, they now continue to communicate because of their daughter.
Dmitry Orlov
Dmitry Lvovich Orlov was born on July 2, 1943 in Sukhumi, Georgian SSR.
Education
He received his higher education at the credit faculty of the Moscow Financial Institute, from which he graduated in 1968.
Labor activity
After graduating from university, he worked as a senior credit inspector in the Krasnogorsk branch of the State Bank of the USSR. In 1980, he took the position of manager of the Mytishchi branch of the State Bank, and six years later - the Moscow regional office of the State Bank.
In 1987, he became the head of the Moscow regional department of Agroprombank of the USSR. When it was corporatized in 1991, Bank Vozrozhdenie appeared on the basis of the management. By the mid-1990s, after privatization and several additional issues, the banker collected a blocking stake and began to build a classic commercial bank. The strategy was conservative: settlement services, loans and deposits for medium and small enterprises and their employees. He did not engage in other business or risky investments out of principle.
It is known that the banker was repeatedly offered to head the Central Bank, but he always refused. In 1992, his candidacy was discussed by the Security Council headed by Boris Yeltsin. He was also called to work at Sberbank, but Dmitry Lvovich had no intention of abandoning his brainchild and until the last day he did everything for the benefit of Vozrozhdenie, which had already become a family business. It is worth noting that over a quarter of a century, his bank has consistently remained among the thirty largest, having survived all crises.
From 1991 to June 2012, he personally headed Vozrozhdenie as chairman of the board. Since 1994, he has been a member of the board of directors. He directly and indirectly owned about 36% of the shares of the credit institution.
He was a member of the ARB, the National Economic Council, and was a member of the Banking Council under the Government of the Russian Federation. He was the head of the group on financial support for economic reform in the Moscow region. He was also Chairman of the Board of the Endowment Fund of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation and Chairman of the University Trustees.
Passed away on December 5, 2014.
