Paloma Jimenez - Vin Diesel's wife

Vin Diesel, wife and children

The model was born in Acapulco, Mexico in 1983.
Her full name is as follows: Carla Paloma Jimenez Denagustin. Although the wife of actor Vin Diesel is Mexican by nationality, the girl also has white blood. From a young age, Paloma had a very refined and sophisticated appearance. Therefore, choosing a profession was not difficult for her - Paloma became a model. The girl does not talk much about her childhood. What is known is that it was not easy and the baby had to overcome many difficulties. Vin Diesel and his wife Paloma Jimenez had their first child in 2008. The daughter was named Hania Riley. Vin, always serious and focused, was transformed in an instant. Fatherhood has made him very sweet and gentle. Subsequently, the actor spoke with regret that he was not present at the birth of his daughter and did not cut her umbilical cord. His love for his daughter touched millions of fans. The actor himself did not hesitate to indulge all the whims of his baby. The girl is growing up to be a very smart and athletic child. So, already at the age of four she tries to imitate her dad, trying to do a few push-ups.

In 2010, Vin Diesel's wife gave him a son, Vincent Sinclair. The second child made the star couple even stronger. Being a mother of two children, the model stopped paying much attention to her career and minimized attendance at social events. The only place where the media could catch her was on the red carpet, walking next to her beloved common-law husband.

In 2020, there was another addition to the family. A daughter was born - Pauline Sinclair. The girl's name was not chosen by chance. In 2013, Vin Diesel lost his close friend and colleague Paul Walker in a tragic accident. He decided to name his daughter in memory of his dear comrade. It is worth noting that the actor’s daughter was born in March and the premiere of the seventh Fast and the Furious was scheduled for the same month.

Vin Diesel jokes that Facebook and Instagram should pay him extra for the number of subscribers, which is in the tens of millions and is constantly growing. It was the followers who pushed the actor, who had already earned a name in cinema, to declare when meeting with representatives of the Marvel studio that the audience demanded his participation in the company’s projects. And all because Diesel “like crazy” reads reviews on social networks, and there a discussion began about what Marvel character Vin could play.

Vin DieselVin Diesel
As a result, the action and thriller star got the role of a tree, but one that sprouts and can be reborn. And at that time, it was very important for Vin, who was grieving the death of his friend Paul Walker, to return. Diesel is not shy about sensitivity and sentimentality, and the appearance of a thug is only a way to preserve his vulnerable soul, without which he would not have become an actor.

Mexican Carla Paloma Jimenez Denagustin was born on August 22, 1983, and spent her childhood in her native country near Acapulco.

With age, the ordinary Mexican girl became a bright, long-legged girl. A beautiful slender figure, refined plump lips, dark skin and a head of dark hair made her a successful model.

Paloma has a strong independent character; she is used to achieving everything herself, without using the influence and popularity of boyfriends, which is how she has conquered more than one man.

Vin Diesel's common-law wife starred in the film, where she played herself.

Another fact that speaks of the model’s non-standard worldview is her reluctance to legitimize her relationship with the father of her children.

By the way, after giving birth to three children, Jimenez did not give up her modeling career, less than a month after the birth of her child, she returned her body to its former shape.

Thanks to Paloma Jimenez, Vin Diesel became a caring father of three children.

The eldest daughter, Hania Riley, was born in April 2008; the happy father himself cut the baby’s umbilical cord. In his interview, he said that he very much regretted that he was not allowed to attend the birth directly.

Little Haniya tries to imitate her daddy in everything; she does push-ups every day, causing tenderness in the entire happy family.

Secondly, in 2010, Vin Diesel's wife gave birth to a son, Vincent Sinclair. The happy father became even happier. He never stops talking in interviews about his beloved children.

Most recently, on March 16, 2020, the family increased by one little person, the youngest daughter Paulina was born.

The girl received such an unusual name in honor of Vin Diesel's friend and colleague Paul Walker, who died in a car accident.

The actor himself says that he did not consider another name option for his beloved, as he felt the presence of his dead friend and wanted to perpetuate his name in his family.

Vin Diesel's wife says that after the birth of children, her lover became a different person and spends a lot of time with his family, which he gives priority to work.

She will greet him today with the words “Сumpleaños feliz!” and little Hania will probably join her... He turns 45 today, but he remembers very well how three years ago his life changed forever... They met in a noisy company of strangers, and no one knew about their romance for six long years...

She…

Carla Paloma Jimenez Denagustin was born on August 22, 1983 in Mexico near Acapulco.

Thanks to her height of 178 cm, bright appearance and slender figure, the girl has reached certain heights in the modeling business - today she is the leading model of ID Model Management and Look Models in Mexico. She has covered glossy magazine covers and participated in advertising campaigns for famous brands.

She often appeared at social events and parties, where celebrities often appeared among the guests. And at one of these events He approached her...

He never knew his father and still doesn’t know - his mother was not afraid to be left alone with two babies in her arms (the actor has a twin brother, Paul, who is completely different from him). Apparently, the stars suggested that everything would be fine with their future.

Vin's acquaintance with his future profession happened thanks to his stepfather, a local theater worker, who took him and his brother and his own children to plays and movies. But he is confident that acting will become his main income.

It came at the moment when he and his friends climbed into one of the theaters at night to “play with the props.” There was a rehearsal on stage and they were spotted. But instead of being brought to the police, the guys received a script and an assignment to read the text by role. Vin (then Mark Sinclair Vincent) did best and was the only one offered $20 for each performance. His debut was the play “Doors for the Dinosaur”. He was only 7 then.

Work in the theater, the “position” of a bouncer in a nightclub (where he received his current pseudonym), exercise in a rocking room... He always knew that a great future awaited him, although his path to the top was slow. He knew that he would become rich and famous himself, so he never played the lottery, unlike his colleagues at the club, who in turn made fun of his “delusions of grandeur.” In response, he simply smiled calmly.

Calm was the main thing in his nature - despite the mountain of prominent muscles and his shaved head, Vin never got involved in fights. By and large, he did not engage in sports, trying to reduce the conflict to nothing at the initial stage. In the club he was called the “voice of reason” - even when the police called in began to calm the hooligans “with special zeal,” he found an opportunity to intervene and save the unlucky guest from the “hands and feet of justice,” convincing the law enforcement officers that “he understood everything and more.” will not interfere with people’s cultural recreation.”

The second main trait of his character was modesty. He was never a playboy, a favorite of the ladies. I was always embarrassed in female company.

All his novels did not last long. Sometimes like a bright flash, the interest between the lovers quickly faded away. This happened with actress Michelle Rodriguez.

, and with model Pavla Herbkova. At some point, the actor even decided to reduce communication with the opposite sex to an absolute minimum. Until one day she refused his offer to have a good time together...

They…

Diesel himself no longer remembers all the details of that first meeting. He remembers that it was a noisy party, many beautiful women. He remembers that Paloma stood out with a fragile figure and a huge mane of luxurious black hair.

He decided to try his luck with this beauty, so that later he could leave only pleasant memories for himself after the meeting. But she refused him so delicately that he had no choice but to start courting her.

Only the closest people knew about their romance. Both were comfortable with the atmosphere of secrecy surrounding their relationship. Paloma did not strive to shine in society with her famous boyfriend and did not accompany him to premieres. Yes, in general I did not in any way try to use the name of Vin Diesel for my own benefit. And this went on for about six years...

The truth was revealed only on April 2, 2008, when the news hit the press that Vin Diesel... had become a father. Paloma gave birth to his daughter Hania Riley. Vin was present at the birth and cut the umbilical cord himself. As the actor himself later admitted, at that moment the world turned upside down for him - he desperately wanted to save the world, change it for the better and sacrifice everything for the sake of his baby: “If they had allowed me, I would have given birth myself.

But I had to settle for permission to cut the umbilical cord. There was no fear or disgust. I immediately felt a very strong connection with my daughter. It was as if I had become a different person: I realized that I would no longer spend so much time away from my family, I would not take pointless risks, because the well-being of little Hania depended on my health. All ambitions, all professional dreams seemed so... nonsense to me, I just had to look into the face of my little angel. Haniya is already three years old, but my feelings have not changed. She is the main person in my life..."

Vin carefully guards the peace of his loved ones - after all, this is a private life and the idle interest of ordinary people is of no use here. He never had a servant - he specifically bought a small house for him that he could serve himself. That same house is a bachelor’s retreat that Paloma once took over and managed to create a family atmosphere, where Vin strives every time after filming.

Testimony of a Spanish patient, Paolo Macchiarini, who managed to survive

Photo: Forbetterscience

The sensation of recent days has been the final retraction from the Lancet of two articles by Paolo Macchiarini , now the former Michelangelo of thoracic surgery . about his scientific frauds and the patients who died during his experiments , about the criminal case, as well as about his Russian epic here , here , here and here . However, there are people who still justify the liberties of the charming Paolo, arguing that without his experiments the patients would have died even faster. They say they had no choice. Still die. The amazing story of the Spanish woman Paloma Jimenez the German science journalist Leonid Schneider published on his website For Better Science , indicates that, at least in her case, everything was far from the case.

With the permission of Leonid Schneider, I am publishing this story with slight abbreviations. Please forgive translation errors. Since I couldn’t find a Spanish translator, Google Translate did the job for me.

I'm Paloma Cabeza Jimenez

I am 43 years old and live in Alicante, although I was born in Madrid (Spain).

When I was just 10 years old, I had a caustic soda accident at home.

At that time (1986), tracheal injuries were not dealt with well.

The original lesion was only two centimeters long, but due to poor medical decisions and lack of options... these two centimeters grew into a wound along the entire length of the trachea. This forced me to get a T-shaped Montgomery silicone prosthesis in 1992. I turned 18 that summer.

After several years of regularly changing the Montgomery to avoid bacterial colonization, it became clear that manipulation in the operating room (every 3-6 months) contributed to the emergence of new bacteria due to contamination. In addition to all this, these manipulations interfered with the natural regeneration of the tracheal mucosa.

Likewise, regular manipulation of the rigid fiberoptic bronchoscope and penetration of the airway... partially damaged my left main bronchus. I had a stable stenosis with a diameter of 6-7 millimeters. Clearance sufficient for a normal quality of life if you do not intend to become a professional athlete.

In 2006, tired of constant respiratory infections, I went to consult a pulmonologist in Barcelona. I had the misfortune of falling into the hands of an unprofessional specialist, who confidently stated: the cause of my infections was stenosis of the left bronchus. My then desire to become a mother and become pregnant with a healthy child... clouded my mind. I did not listen to the inner voice of intuition that warned of danger. And she agreed to go to the operating room to dilate the left main bronchus.

Nothing could be worse! As a result, the cartilaginous structure of the left main bronchus was destroyed. Now I needed a silicone Dumont bronchial prosthesis along the entire length (5 centimeters).

From 2006 to 2011, I had a whole bunch of replacements for this Dumont. It shifted, causing weekly crises of suffocation, mucus blockages, and multiple respiratory infections, more severe than before. So I decided to take a risk and remove the Montgomery trachea to get rid of the infections. As a result, I was left with two prostheses: tracheal

and
bronchial
.

My despair was so great that in 2008 I began to wonder if progress was being made with tracheas internationally. I found out that there is a certain Paolo Macchiarini, who is working on a new technique for tracheal transplantation without the use of immunosuppressants. Without hesitation, I contacted him by mail, since this was confirmed by the “prestigious Spanish clinic” where the “king of thoracic surgery” would soon operate.

Dr. Macchiarini's secretary almost immediately made an appointment for me, and in June 2008 I came for a consultation.

Macchiarini told me about the endless benefits of his technique and ultimately convinced me. At that time I felt very bad - I had just recovered from the negligence of another doctor, who also described everything very beautifully at first, so for me this was a sign... Macchiarini said that my condition could only be assessed in the operating room. He is not satisfied with my medical documents from either Madrid or Alicante. Even the results of recent examinations in Barcelona (Bellvitge Hospital) and the latest radiological tests... He managed to convince my husband, and through him, me, but I insisted on one thing. I told Macchiarini that it was very difficult to place the Dumont prosthesis in the exact place of the bronchus so that it would not cause harm or move... I did not allow anything to be done with the prosthesis or to remove it, and asked to use, in order to avoid further injury, a flexible bronchoscope and new high-resolution radiological tests. He gave me his word, and I blindly believed him - thanks to the friendly and kind smile that is always on his face when he needs something.

But in the operating room he did what he wanted and how he wanted. He not only took out the Dumont, but also did a biopsy without my consent and used an unnecessary laser,

to cause burn injuries that would help him justify what he wanted to do a few weeks later:
a second tracheal transplant
.
The same and in the same place as Claudia Castillo,
a patient with whom (luckily for me) I had three different hospitalizations. Claudia found herself in a difficult situation due to her work and economic situation as she had two children and the girl was only 5-6 years old. I helped her with money so she could have the best summer possible, and we exchanged phone numbers to tell each other how things were going, since we had to undergo surgery for the same reason.

My summer was terrible due to granulation after the laser, a Dumont placed incorrectly, followed by an infection a week later... Plus a collapsed left lung caused by the Dumont moving towards the bifurcation of the trachea. Because of this, the summer became a real hell of operating rooms, prostheses, corticosteroids, antibiotics...

Fortunately for me, I slowly came out of this state. A huge success for me was a sympathetic call from Claudia, who, three months after her transplant, could already confirm that everything had gone wrong. She said that she would not allow me to undergo this intervention and advised me to run away from this hospital.

She told me that Macchiarini hid data and even manipulated the reports and results he submitted to the Lancet. I was admitted to the clinic, and Claudia was discharged home with symptoms of suffocation and a large amount of corticosteroids. Plus two antibiotics to prevent infection since her graft was necrotic due to lack of blood flow. All night I tried to digest this news and get some sleep. The next morning I met with Macchiarini - alone in my room when he arrived to pay a routine visit.

He would never admit that Claudia wasn't feeling well. Told me that it was all my imagination and that I had misunderstood her. He argued that my doubts were a typical fear that arises before encountering something new (for example, when you are about to get married).

This cynicism left me speechless: completely bewildered. He took advantage of my silence to tell me, “Oh, I have a solution, I’ll be back soon.” An hour later he appeared at the hospital with a psychiatrist (I think it was the head of the psychiatric department of the clinic in Barcelona), whom he instructed to convince me to agree to the operation. The next morning, everything was ready in the operating room to take my nasal cartilage and bone marrow stem cells. A colleague of the doctor, he said, from London, was supposed to take samples and prepare a trachea there that would become a clone of mine... He came to say that I would suffer less than Claudia, because in these three months the technique had improved.

My refusal was firm. I decided everything overnight. I remembered some phrases, putting them together to understand that in front of me was a dangerous person. What finally convinced me was a conversation with a psychiatrist - he constantly formulated things without logical meaning, as if he wanted to convince me of an urgency that does not exist.

This was the reason for me to tell the psychiatrist that I was ashamed of what he was trying to do to me, and I would never forgive him for this attempt at manipulation.

When Macchiarini appeared in my room, he screamed like crazy. He told me that he would throw me out of the hospital, make a thousand calls so that no tracheal specialist would deal with me, that he would say things about me that all doctors would refuse me. He swore that one day I would return to the hospital, I would beg him for help, but he would not help me. I will never forget that crazy look. He left my room, slamming the door so hard that soon after, other doctors from the thoracic department came to find out what had happened. To my surprise, they all knew that Claudia Castillo was not feeling well. And at the same time they agreed to the same operation for me!

That same day I applied for discharge from the hospital and a few months later (when I learned that Macchiarini had stopped working at the hospital) ... I asked the second surgeon of this team, Dr. Gimferrer, to take care of me ... Years later, I learned that in the city called Valencia, there is another trachea team. It is much closer to the city of Alicante where I live.

A few years later, I found out that Macchiarini did not leave the hospital in Barcelona on his own. He was kindly asked not to renew his contract. This was after the death of several innocent people... Today these are eight people whom I know by sight and can call by name.

At that time, in my ignorance, I blindly believed that the Barcelona Hospital had fired Dr. Paolo Macchiarini, suspending his medical license. But that was not the case. Their common silence... in 2008-2009 caused the suffering and death of innocent people who trusted that medicine, a situation in which we must change - this is our moral duty.

What is wrong is that the word of a doctor can become the Word of God ...

This psychopathic surgeon scared me with the message that I had malignant tracheal cancer ( my diagnosis
was always the same: benign tracheal stenosis after mechanical injury ) in order to justify the operation.
But the worst thing is that his colleagues did not stop him. I had to stop him! A patient who theoretically should not have known anything about medicine! But I was lucky in misfortune - I accumulated a lot of painful experience, having undergone many medical procedures, and I was able to see the contradictions... However, Claudia's call saved me. In this way she returned the kindness that I had done to her a few weeks before. In 2013, I was able to get rid of the Dumont bronchial prosthesis thanks to treatment with somatotropin growth hormone, which helps restore cartilage. It is injected under the skin like insulin.

I am currently being treated by specialists in Valencia and am in the process of tracheal reconstruction. I did not lose my left bronchus, I did not lose my left lung (as was planned in 2011 in a damn hospital in Barcelona...), I did not lose my life due to the egocentrism of a doctor who had reached the highest level.

In August 2020 (at the age of 42) and almost eight months pregnant... I returned to Alicante and a month and a half later my son Mario was born. A healthy and precious baby, 20 months old today, came into my life as the most important miracle that has happened to me in these 34 years of hardship and struggle.

My son is my greatest motivation, my true medicine. I am grateful to life for the fact that it ultimately rewarded me, for the opportunity to transfer my knowledge and experience into the hands of those who need it... For everything we learn in life, we pay a high price. And often the price of training is our own life.

To all the families of Macchiarini's victims, to all the victims of negligence and poor medical decisions, and to those whose cases of negligence could not be proven due to corruption, I express my full respect, love and dedicate my own story.

I wish you peace and tranquility, in which every person should live.

Goodbye,

Paloma Cabeza Jiménez

Career

The girl took her first serious steps in the modeling business at the ID Model Management agency. Soon the girl began to be recognized in narrow circles, which led to a new contract with Look Models. While living in Mexico, Paloma devoted a lot of time to various local television shows. The show OtroRolloCon: AdalTamones brought her real fame. After him, Paloma Jimenez became a real sex symbol of Mexico. Working in the modeling business has also always brought its fruits. The girl has graced the covers of various Mexican magazines many times.

So, in 2004, her face and body appeared on the cover of the local Maxim. In 2006, the girl became the decoration of the August issue of MAX. During this period, the model was also in demand in the field of television advertising. She can be seen in commercials for such famous brands as Pantin, Honda and Coca-Cola. In addition to her career as a fashion model, Paloma actively performed at various fashion shows. She presented collections of such fashion designers as Alberto Rodriguez, Guillermo Vargas, Avel Ibanez and others on the best European catwalks.

Paloma's acting career was less successful. The girl managed to star in only one series - “Another Role”. Vin Diesel's wife played only in a few episodes.

Model career

Mexican model Paloma Jiménez (full birth name Karla Paloma Jiménez Denagustin) was born on August 22, 1983 in Acapulco, Mexico. She is under the wing of two modeling agencies: ID Model Management and Look Models in Mexico. In addition to photographing for glossy publications and catalogues, the girl actively appears in video advertising, in particular she can be seen in commercials for Pantene, Coca-Cola, Honda and others. In January 2005, she graced the cover of the Mexican issue of Maxim and Max in August 2006. Paloma has walked the catwalk numerous times at European fashion weeks and has also walked the runway in Mexico for designers such as Alberto Rodriguez, Guillermo Vargas, Roberto Villarreal, Avel Ibanez, Lilies of France and Nestor Osuna.

Vin Diesel novels

Her relationship with Vin Diesel brought the girl enormous fame. The young people met in 2007 at a fashion party. The actor singled out the sophisticated Paloma from among the numerous models. According to Vin, the girl attracted his attention with her beautiful figure and gorgeous head of hair. Despite the obvious signs of attention that the famous actor showed her, Paloma did not answer Vin with the fire that usually burned in the eyes of his fans.

Numerous fans of Vin Diesel are probably concerned about his personal life. To the disappointment of many girls in the world, for quite a long time the actor has been walking through life hand in hand with his beautiful companion Paloma Jimenez. Vin Diesel's beloved wife gave birth to her beloved three children. Now they are a strong, friendly family.

However, like any man basking in the rays of glory, Vin has quite a lot of experience on the love front. A brutal macho with a mountain of muscles has always been popular with the fair sex.

Due to the actor’s reluctance to talk about his personal life, many of his early novels remain a secret, but some of the man’s adventures nevertheless became public knowledge, thanks to the nosy nature of the press.

It is worth noting that Diesel has always given preference to successful models and actresses. His former passions include models from the cover of Playboy magazine for 1997, Lila Roberts and busty Summer Altice for 2000, the well-known actress, leader of the Pussycat Dolls group Kaia Jones, actress Michelle Ruben, actress and model Chanel Ryan, famous model Asia Argento, Maria Menous , eighteen-year-old Czech model Pavla Harbkova, who broke up with the actor, unable to bear his constant departures and infidelities, and Michelle Rodriguez, who starred with Vin in “The Fast and the Furious.”

Personal life of Vin Diesel

Vin Diesel's personal life has always remained in the shadows, as the actor believes that he should not flaunt his relationships. He was credited with many high-profile novels, and after the release of the film “Fast and Furious,” many sources wrote that Vin Diesel and Michelle Rodriguez were having an affair. They kiss, spend all their time together, the couple is clearly in a relationship, but after a few months the interest in each other subsided, and the lovers broke up.

Also, joint filming brought the actor closer to the new star; Vin Diesel and Charlize Theron had fun together. Judging by their behavior, it was hard not to notice that the couple had a warm relationship. Is this friendship or just another hobby, one can only guess.

After the release of the movie “The Fast and the Furious,” where the actor had a cross hanging around his neck, many men began ordering replicas of this jewelry. It’s hard to imagine how much Vin Diesel’s cross costs, because it’s made of platinum, an expensive metal. However, many fans of high speed wear this jewelry with pleasure.

Childhood and youth

Vin Diesel is a New York native. The Fast and the Furious star was born in July 1967. The artist's real name is Mark Sinclair Vincent. The guy was brought up in a single-parent family that lived in a multi-story New York building.

Mark Sinclair is one of the twins. It is noteworthy that the brothers are completely different, neither in appearance nor in character. Until the age of 3, boys were raised by their mother. Mark and Paul never saw their own father.

Vin Diesel as a child

The origins of the twins' father remain a mystery today. There is a version that Diesel is half Italian, half African American. And according to other information, German, Irish, Mexican and Dominican blood was mixed in his veins. But the famous actor does not like to talk about origins and always tries to emphasize his belonging to different cultures.

Vin began to show his first acting abilities at the age of three. Then Mark and Paul's mother got married, and the twins had half-brothers and sisters. Stepfather Irwin taught acting at the university and directed the theater. This circumstance influenced the development of Mark Sinclair’s character: the boy showed a burning interest in the craft. The man took the children to almost every theatrical performance and to the premieres of new films.

Vin Diesel with his grandmother and brothers

Otherwise, the future actor’s childhood was no different from most of his peers. Only one trouble upset the celebrity in his youth: Mark grew quickly, but compared to his peers he was very thin, for which he received the offensive nickname Worm. For a long time, Diesel’s shyness prevented him from opening up and realizing himself. He had a complex about his thinness, and in order to change, for several years he exhausted himself with long hours of training in the gym.

If you believe in the hand of fate, then it was she who brought Vin into art. At the age of 7, Diesel and his friends sneaked into the theater in order to take a closer look at the props and, if possible, play in these mysterious “ruins.” The boys did not calculate that the rehearsal was scheduled for this time. The hooligans were caught by surprise. The director forced them to read the script role by role as punishment.

Vin Diesel in his youth

Diesel's acting debut took place in the production of "A Door for the Dinosaur." After the applause subsided, the guy finally decided to connect his further biography with acting, which he subsequently perfected until he was 17 years old.

After some time, the young artist realized that he would not be able to earn much money in the theater. By this time, Vin Diesel had changed in appearance. Thanks to constant visits to the gym, his muscles became sculpted, and the guy matured. It never occurred to anyone else to call the 183 cm tall, 100 kg muscleman with an old offensive nickname.

Vin Diesel

To make ends meet, Vin Diesel began working as a “bouncer” at the Tunnel nightclub in Manhattan. The guy spent 3 years here, shaved his head and changed his name to Vin Diesel. At the same time, he became a student at Hunter College, where he studied English and classical literature. At the same time, the actor wrote scripts, which in the future played a special role in Diesel’s life.

In 1987, Vin Diesel decided to radically change his life. He left The Tunnel and dropped out of college to pursue his lifelong dream of becoming a Hollywood star. But they failed to conquer Los Angeles the first time. The guy did not make a proper impression on the “dream factory” and its inhabitants. I had to look for work so as not to die of hunger.

Vin Diesel at the beginning of his career

Vin Diesel got a job as a salesman in a TV store and worked there for about a year. The working day lasted 18 hours. The wine managed to establish itself well, so the guy’s earnings were decent. But the future actor returned home.

The childhood of Mark Sinclair Vincent, which is Vin's real name, cannot be called cloudless. The mother had to raise two twins, Vincent and Paul, alone at first. Later she got married and the family was replenished with two more children of her husband from his first marriage. Raising four children was not the easiest thing, despite this, warm and friendly relations reigned in the family.

It was Vin’s stepfather who influenced the choice of future profession. Irwin taught acting at the university. Whenever possible, he took the children to the theater, to performances and premieres of new films. So the desire to become a famous actor began to arise in little Vin. And he became one, but for this he had to go a long way.

It’s hard to imagine now, but as a boy, Vin was embarrassed by his appearance, as he was tall and thin. Compared to his liberated brother, he lost greatly. As a teenager, he decided to change the situation and began to work hard on the reliefs of his body.

It was Vin’s stepfather who influenced the choice of future profession. Irwin taught acting at the university. Whenever possible, he took the children to the theater, to performances and premieres of new films. So the desire to become a famous actor began to arise in little Vin. And he became one, but for this he had to go a long way.

“In New York, you have to make the decision for yourself whether to be a victim or not at a fairly young age.”

It all started... with the theater

Vin's theatrical career began at the age of seven. Of course, at that age it was still difficult to call it a career, but still. The boy participated in performances until he was seventeen years old. All this time he was supported by his stepfather, who contributed to the development of Vin's acting abilities.

In 1984, when the future star of Hollywood blockbusters was no longer that shy, skinny boy, Vin Diesel decided to leave the theater stage. The need to earn money led the guy to work as a security guard at a nightclub. Then, by the way, he decided to change his name and became Vin Diesel - doesn’t it sound cool for a nightclub bouncer? The pseudonym remained with him for the rest of his life, and with it the trick of shaving his head.

Vin never managed to get an education. After spending several years studying English and literature, he dropped out of Hunter College and set off to conquer Hollywood. But Los Angeles wasn't waiting for the New York guy. Diesel was unable to attract the attention of directors. To support his living, Vin worked as a presenter in a TV store. By the way, he made good money there. But the realization that such a life was not at all like a dream come true did not leave the future actor. Something needed to change and, first of all, Vin left for his hometown.

Biography of Vin Diesel

The actor's real name is Mark Sinclair. The biography of Vin Diesel began on July 18, 1967, when he was born with his brother, Paul. Mother - Delore Sherlin worked as an astrologer and raised the boys alone until she got married for the second time. As a child, Vin was a thin, modest boy who found it very difficult to meet girls. Therefore, sport became a constant companion in his life, which made him a pumped-up and confident man.

At the age of 17, he worked as a security guard at a nightclub, he shaved his head and gave himself a new name - Vin Diesel. The future actor entered Haner College, where he studied to become a screenwriter. But without finishing his studies, he set off to conquer Hollywood.

Family idyll

Just two weeks after the birth of their third child, Vin Diesel’s wife with many children showed off at a ceremony dedicated to the release of “Fast and the Furious.” Her perfect figure delighted everyone.

Now there is a real idyll in the family. The father of many children is happy in his new role, and the young mother continues to work in the modeling business and at the same time combines work with creating family comfort. The celebrity couple lives in Los Angeles, where they have a cozy house. It is worth noting that currently Vin Diesel’s wife manages the entire household herself. The couple doesn't even have a housekeeper.

Vin Diesel's wife - Paloma Jimenez

Vin Diesel's wife is Paloma Jimenez, a Mexican model who has been in a civil marriage with Vin Diesel since 2007. The couple hid their relationship for a long time, not wanting to get on the front pages of the yellow press.

They met at a party, where a spark of passion immediately flared up between them. Although a romance began between them, they did not appear in public together for a long time. But over time, having tested the strength of their relationship, they declared themselves a couple. Paloma gave birth to three children from her beloved.

Start

Diesel did not immediately manage to break into the world of Hollywood cinema. The first role in 1990 in the film “Awakening” was absolutely inconspicuous. Vin changed his trajectory and decided to make films on his own. I wrote the script, music, played the main role, and budgeted only three thousand dollars. And in 1995, the filmed short film “The Many Faces” was shown at the Cannes Film Festival.

In 1996, full of confidence in his abilities, Diesel goes to Los Angeles. There he again becomes the creator of his own painting - “The Tramps”. Steven Spielberg drew attention to the actor, and in 1998 the film “Saving Private Ryan” was released. Filming in this film became for thirty-year-old Vin his first work in a film on a Hollywood scale.

The beginning of the 2000s was marked by the release of the films “Boiler Room”, “The Black Hole” and the sensational “Fast and Furious”.

New wave of rumors: Vin Diesel is blue?

The actor's interviews only became verbose after the birth of his children, but despite the intense emotions caused by Vin Diesel's fatherhood, he still remains a very private media day character. The actor's reluctance to share details of his personal life caused a flurry of rumors and suspicions that the sex symbol is actually gay! In fact, all these rumors remained rumors - Vin is a happy father and a happy husband of a charming and beautiful wife. Tired of the endless baseless gossip, he issued a statement to Hollywood magazine in which he said that he simply did not want to expose his personal life.

The star of the films “Fast and Furious 5” and “Xxx”, the actor known to the world under the pseudonym Vin Diesel, actually goes by the name Vincent.

Mark was born in New York on July 18, 1967. Together with the future actor, a twin brother, Paul, was born, completely different from him. Their family lived very modestly. Mark and Paul had never seen their father in their lives. This is probably why when Vin Diesel, an American on his mother’s side, is asked about his nationality, he just laughs it off and changes the topic.

"Fast and Furious" by Vin Diesel

The actor received his first multimillion-dollar fee after the success of the film “Fast and Furious.” Diesel approached the filming of the film thoroughly: he mastered the skills of a stuntman and studied the life of real street racers from the inside. As a result, the box office of "Fast and the Furious" recouped the spent budget several times, and Vin Diesel for the role of Dominic Toretto and Paul Walker received the MTV "Best Screen Team" award.

The actor named his daughter Paulina in honor of his deceased friend Paula Walker.

The Fast and the Furious story had to continue. Now it’s hard to imagine, but the second part of the franchise was released without Diesel’s participation. Nevertheless, 2 Fast 2 Furious collected an impressive box office and surpassed the success of the first film. In 2006, the long-awaited third part was released, but Diesel failed to make a name for himself in “The Fast and the Furious.” As a result, only a small episode at the end of the film.

Fans still wanted to see Dominic Toretto again and he returned. In 2009 – “Fast and Furious 4”, in 2011 – “Fast and Furious 5”, in 2013 – “Fast and Furious 6”. The producers, including Vin Diesel himself, do not stop there. The seventh part of the franchise will be released in 2020. At the same time, the release of the eighth part is announced, which is scheduled for 2017.

"Fast and furious 7"

to glory

Vin Diesel's choice of profession was significantly influenced by his stepfather Irwin, who was an acting teacher and often took his children to the theater. There, the three-year-old boy developed an interest in the acting profession.

Vin got his first acting experience at the age of 7, when, sneaking backstage at the theater with his friends to play with the props, he was “caught” by the director, who saw creative potential in the little tomboy. For his first theatrical role, the young actor received $20.

The brutal, memorable image and the pseudonym that replaced the name were influenced by Diesel’s work as a bouncer in a club. Occupying such a characteristic position, the guy became a regular visitor to the gym and shaved his head.

Only in 1995, after Vin Diesel played a role in the film he directed, did his acting career take off. He began to appear frequently on screens, but Vin received global fame and multimillion-dollar fees after starring in the movie “The Fast and the Furious.”

Success continues

After the release of the first part of “Fast and the Furious,” Diesel’s acting career soared. At the beginning of the 2000s, the films “Dodgeball” (2001), “XxX” (2002), and “Loner” (2003) were released with the participation of the charismatic brutalist. In 2004, the premiere of the film “The Chronicles of Riddick” took place, which became a continuation of “Black Hole”.

The courageous actor also played in a genre unusual for himself: in 2005, the comedy “Bald Nanny: Special Assignment” was a success at the box office. But “Babylon AD” (2008) did not recoup even half of the spent budget. In 2013, the next part of the sci-fi action film Riddick was released.

Diesel had eye problems while filming Riddick.

The cinematic activity of the Hollywood hero does not stop in 2020. By this time, the films “Guardians of the Galaxy” (2014), “The Last Witch Hunter” (2015), and “Billy Lynn’s Long Halftime Walk” (2016) were shown in cinemas. Three blockbusters are planned for release in 2020: “Fast and Furious 8”, “Xxx: Return of Xander Cage”, “Guardians of the Galaxy 2”.

Personal life

Not only Vin Diesel’s creative activity is of extreme interest, but also relationships on the personal front. Since 2007, the actor has been an exemplary family man and by 2020 became the father of three children. But before that he had several colorful novels.

He first dated his Fast and Furious co-star Michelle Rodriguez. Then a relationship began with the Czech model Pavla Harbkova. In 2007, he finally met his life partner.

Model Paloma Jimenez, who, by the way, is much younger than Vin himself, gave birth to three children. In 2008, baby Hania Riley was born, and in 2010, son Vincent. In 2020, the actor became the father of three children; Paloma gave her beloved another daughter, Paulina. Despite all this idyll, Vin still has not married his chosen one. However, what difference does it make, because the family is already happy.

Hollywood superstar, popular film actor, director, screenwriter and producer, Vin Diesel (real name Mark Sinclair Vincent) was born in New York, USA, in the family of a psychiatrist. Many journalists still wonder what kind of blood flows in the veins of the famous actor. Vin Diesel has a twin brother named Paul.

From early childhood, the boy showed remarkable acting talents, and at the age of three he almost appeared on stage in a circus, where he went with his family to a performance. Soon, Vin Diesel's mother met an acting teacher and the small family grew to five people (Irwin's stepfather already had two children). His stepfather had a tremendous influence on the actor, since thanks to his attitude, Vin Diesel decided to pursue acting.

At the age of seven, young Vin Diesel found himself on the stage, but under very unusual circumstances. He, along with a gang of local boys, sneaked into one of the theaters, but was noticed by the director. Instead of the police, the little hooligans were given a script and forced to act on stage.

Vin Diesel turned out to be better than his comrades and so gradually began to join the theater. As a schoolboy, after classes he rushed to the theater, and the theater took up almost all of his free time. Almost until the age of 17, Vin Diesel played in the theater, participated in many productions and honed his acting skills. But, having reached adulthood, the actor regretfully realized that working in the theater would not bring him financial stability, so he had to get a job as a security guard in one of the nightclubs in New York.

It was there that he came up with his pseudonym Vin Diesel and began shaving his head.

However, the actor continued to study: he went to college and studied classical literature. In 1987, Vin Diesel dropped out of school and set out to conquer Hollywood, but Hollywood did not give in. After living in Los Angeles for some time, he moved back to New York.

His first film role happened in 1990: the actor played in the drama “The Awakening,” but the role was so small that he was not even listed in the credits. Then the actor became interested in directing and in a short time made a short film called “The Many Faces.” In addition, he wrote the music for this film with his own hands.

Interestingly, the film was shown at the Cannes International Film Festival in 1995, thanks to the efforts of Vin Diesel himself and the help of his stepfather in working on the film.

Already at the beginning of 1997, Vin Diesel presented his next work to viewers and film critics - a film called “Vagabonds”. The film was included in the competition program of the Sundance Independent Film Festival, but despite all the efforts of the actor, the film did not have much commercial success. However, the Sundance Festival revealed the actor to famous Hollywood producers.

Soon Diesel was invited to star in his film by Steven Spielberg himself. This is how Vin Diesel ended up on the big screen, taking part in the maestro’s famous drama “Saving Private Ryan”. The film's partner was the popular American film actor Tom Hanks.

According to Spielberg's recollections, Vin Diesel made a tremendous impression on him because he really wanted to work and could film 24 hours a day.

The picture collected an incredible box office - almost $500 million and soon became part of the collection of classics of world cinema, receiving almost 11 nominations for the prestigious Oscar Award.

Soon, filming proposals poured in one after another, and already in 2000, three films with the participation of Vin Diesel were released. One of the films, “Black Hole,” became the starting point for the actor’s recognition. The role of Richard B. Riddick in this fantastic film brought Diesel worldwide fame.

For the film "Fast and Furious" the actor received his first multimillion-dollar fee.

Then Vin Diesel starred in such films as “Dodgeball” (2001), “XxX” (2002), “Loner” (2003), “The Chronicles of Riddick” (2004), “Bald Nanny: Special Assignment” (2005), “ Babylon N.E.” (2008), “Stone Fish” (2010).

One of the high-profile premieres of 2020 is the fantastic action film XXx: World Domination, where Vin Diesel’s co-stars included Nina Dobrev, Deepika Padukone, Tony Jaa and Samuel L. Jackson.

Vin Diesel is best known for his participation in the Fast and the Furious series. “The Fast and the Furious” was released in 2001 and became an iconic film for fans of auto racing and street racers. In this film, Vin Diesel first worked on the same set with Hollywood actor Paul Walker, with whom they were subsequently friends for many years outside of filming. Due to disagreements with producers regarding fees, the actor withdrew from 2 Fast 2 Furious and the subsequent third film, but returned to the franchise in 2009 and later became one of the producers.

In 2020, “Fast and Furious 8” will be released, becoming the first film in the series without Paul Walker, who tragically died in 2013.

While still on the set of The Fast and the Furious, the actor met actress Michelle Rodriguez; they had a long affair, but the actors soon broke up on Michelle’s initiative. And in 2008, Vin’s girlfriend, Mexican fashion model Paloma Jimenez, gave birth to his daughter Hania Riley.

The muscular handsome man never suffered from a shortage of fans. Vin Diesel's personal life consists of many affairs with beauties whose names are widely known in Hollywood. On the set of the first Fast and the Furious in 2001, the actor met the charming Michelle Rodriguez. But the bright romance faded away quite quickly - the couple were together for only six months. Michelle decided that they were too different to build a serious relationship. The former lovers parted easily.

The romance with model of Czech origin Pavla Harbkova also turned out to be short-lived. Vin Diesel met her on the set of the film “Xxx”, where the girl appeared in the episode. But after the release of the action movie in 2002, the romance faded away. As Pavla explained, Vin leaves too often for filming, and her schedule does not allow her to travel with him all over the world.

Vin Diesel found personal happiness with another beauty - Mexican fashion model Paloma Jimenez. The common-law wife gave her husband three children, forcing him to think seriously about family.

In April 2008, the couple welcomed a girl, Hania Riley. In the fall of 2010, the wife gave birth to her famous husband’s son, Vincent Sinclair. The third child, Paulina, was born in March 2015. Vin Diesel named her in honor of his deceased friend Paul Walker.

The actor does not hide family members behind seven seals - photos of his wife, children and close relatives are often published on the movie star’s pages on social networks.

In 2020, on the set of Xxx: Return of Xander Cage, Vin Diesel met his co-star Nina Dobrev. Attentive fans of the two stars started talking about the affair. The reason was the actors’ provocative posts on social media pages, where they exchanged compliments.

However, most fans agreed that Nina Dobrev wanted to “annoy” her ex-boyfriend Ian Somerhalder in this way. The life together of Vin Diesel and Paloma was not threatened by friendly relations with Nina.

Not only Vin Diesel’s creative activity is of extreme interest, but also relationships on the personal front. Since 2007, the actor has been an exemplary family man and by 2020 became the father of three children. But before that he had several colorful novels.

Personal life of the model

Nothing is known about Paloma’s previous boyfriends, but one thing is obvious – Vin Diesel became her first and only love at the moment. The romance between the couple began in 2007, and already in 2008 Jimenez gave birth to Diesel’s daughter Hania Riley, two years later the couple had a son, Vincent Sinclair, and in March 2020 a second daughter was born, whom the couple decided to name Paulina, in honor of the tragically deceased Paul Walker.

It is worth paying tribute to Paloma, because after the birth of three children, she has not lost the attractiveness of her figure, and still remains a sought-after model and spiritual support for her “star” husband. Two years ago, Vin Diesel suffered a huge shock when his close friend Paul Walker died in a car accident and all this time the actor's wife Paloma was by his side, supporting him and helping him endure this mental trauma. An attractive Mexican woman easily manages to balance between career and family life, succeeding in both directions.

Like her husband, Paloma is not a fan of appearing in public and does so only when accompanied by her husband when he appears on the red carpet, presenting his next film.
