After school, he entered the light industry technical school and enrolled in theater courses. After this, for some time the young man worked as a process technician in the washing equipment workshop. It seemed boring to him; he wanted something else. He thought about getting a higher education.

Eduard Anatolyevich Trukhmenev was born in June of the seventy-second year. This is a famous actor , both in theater and film circles.

Edward studied acting in Belarus, where he graduated from the Academy of Arts in 1995. After graduation, the young actor worked for three years at the Minsk National Academic Theater. During this time there he got leading roles in such performances as “The Scarlet Flower”, “Funeral Prayer”, “Romulus the Great” and many others.

The ninety-eighth year was marked for Edward by moving to Moscow, where he received an invitation to work from director Roman Viktyuk. Trukhmenev has been playing on the stage of his theater for six whole years. He has produced such well-known performances as “Solomeya”, “The Master and Margarita”, “Puss in Boots” and other popular productions by Roman Viktyuk.

In 2004, Eduard Trukhmenev changed his place of work again. Now he begins to play on the stage of the Moscow Theater for Young Spectators . There he gets leading roles in famous performances, which do not go unappreciated by either spectators or theater critics.

Two years later, Edward tries himself for the first time as a film actor . The television public immediately fell in love with him for his role in the television series “Bodyguard.” There he played one of the main characters - bodyguard Viktor Maltsev. In this image, the actor inspired confidence in the audience, although, as he personally admits to journalists, Edward himself never liked weapons and treats them poorly. Therefore, in order to look organically in the image of a bodyguard, Eduard had to seriously prepare, namely, undergo a special training course in the Alpha special group. There I learned how to properly hold a weapon in my hands and how to handle it correctly. At Alpha he was taught the correct behavior in difficult and dangerous situations and much more, which can be useful not only on the screen, but also in life.

The first season of the series was very popular among viewers. On the wave of success, two more seasons were filmed. In between filming “The Bodyguard,” Edward managed to star in several more films. More precisely, these were TV series and films such as “Ivan the Terrible”, “Consequences of the Voyage of Sinbad” and others .

In 2009, Eduard Trukhmenev received an invitation from director Konstantin Kikichev to star in the new series “Margosha”. Kikichev noticed Eduard in the film “The Color of the Sky”. The actor’s performance attracted the director, and he decided that Trukhmenev, like no one else, could play the main role of magazine editor Georgy Rebrov. It was only when Trukhmenev’s photographs were shown to the casting director of the series that everything could have gone wrong, because the photographs did not make the right impression. But a personal meeting returned everything to its place. Edward was able to conquer the entire set, including his partners in the series, directors and directors, in a very short time.

But, to the disappointment of the actor’s fans, in the first season Trukhmenev’s hero appears in the footage only from the very first episode. The sorceress moves his spirit into the body of a beautiful woman, in revenge for his disrespectful attitude towards the weaker sex and all the exploits of a ladies' man. Later in the series, the role of Margot-Goshi is played by the magnificent actress Maria Berseneva.

The series was doomed to success. The audience was looking forward to the continuation. And in the second season, Trukhmenev amazed everyone: both the audience and the directors with his acting. According to the plot, the soul of editor Gosha was not just moved into the beautiful female body. In fact, the sorceress swapped his bodies with a certain girl named Masha Vasilyeva. It was Eduard Trukhmanov who played her in a male body. It is noteworthy that in this image the actor did not look like a transvestite or a representative of a well-known sexual minority, but rather like a woman. He managed to convey the feminine image in a man with particular clarity: habits, manner of speaking and moving. The result is a real image of a woman trapped in a male body.

If we sum up the acting activity of Eduard Trukhmenev today, we can say that in the Minsk National Academic Theater during the entire time he worked there, he played five main and memorable roles. In the theater of Roman Viktyuk, he has already accounted for six memorable characters in the famous theatrical productions of the scandalous director. At the Moscow Theater for Young Spectators, he managed to play only two main roles in major performances.

During his time working in theaters, many performances with the participation of Eduard Trukhmenev received various certificates and nominations.

Currently, Edward’s film career as an actor is going a little better than his theatrical activities. In a fairly short period of time, he already has twenty-three wonderful roles in various films and television series, most of which are the main ones.

He played the role that made him famous in “The Bodyguard” in 2006. In order to realistically show his hero Viktor Maltsev, he spent some time training in the Alpha group. There he was taught to use weapons and behave convincingly in dangerous situations. After the first season, filming of the second and third immediately followed. According to the actor’s recollections, the most difficult scene was in the third season, where he had to lie in the snow in thirty-five degrees below zero. The filming took place on the airfield, a piercing wind was blowing. This went on for several takes.
