Pavel Delong: “Russian actresses are very shy in bed”

Who is Pavel Delong?

The childhood of the future actor was quite ordinary, but as a schoolboy Pavel already knew what exactly he wanted to become. After completing his studies, DeLong entered the Higher Theater School located in his native Krakow. His student years flew by quickly enough, and in 1993 Pavel became a professional actor.

Thanks to his charismatic appearance and talent, Pavel Delong quickly became a sought-after artist. Immediately after completing his studies at the school. Skolsky, the actor joined several theater troupes located in Wroclaw, Kielce and Warsaw. The newly-minted artist had to leave his native Krakow, however, if he had the first weekend, he went home to his parents.

early years

We will begin to consider the biography and personal life of Pavel Delong in 1970, when he was born on the left bank of the Vistula in Krakow, Poland. His parents were professional musicians. Pavel grew up with his younger sister Dorota, who also became an actress.

The young man received his secondary education at the Marie Skladovskaya-Curie Lyceum. He graduated from this educational institution in 1989. As a child, he showed interest in various hobbies, including music, sports, and science. In my teenage years, I applied to several universities at once, because I could not fully determine what I wanted to do most.

Among the options were: Faculty of Law of the Jagiellonian University, Academy of Physical Education, Ludwik Solski Higher Theater School. After much thought, he decides to connect his life with art.

From theater to cinema and back

However, Pavel’s theatrical career was not enough, and he began attending screen tests, hoping to get at least a cameo role in television series or movies. DeLonge's debut turned out to be quite noisy - his first role was in the cult film Schindler's List, directed by the famous Steven Spielberg.

After the film was released, all possible doors in cinema all over the world opened for the actor. Pavel's talent was appreciated, and directors began to literally bombard the young actor with offers. According to critics, what helped DeLonge build his acting career was that he did not agree to absolutely every offer he received, but chose only interesting and unusual roles.

A distinctive feature of Pavel is that he works not only in Poland, but also willingly participates in European and international projects. The actor is well known in Russia and the former CIS countries, but most of all he is adored in France, where DeLong vacations quite often.

The 90s in the life of Pavel Delong

1993 became a landmark year for the actor not only because of his debuts in films and on the theater stage, but also because this year Pavel became a father. The actor named his son Pavel. For two decades now, journalists have been trying to find out the name of the girl who gave birth to DeLonge’s son, but the actor himself prefers not to talk about his personal life. Apparently, Pavel Delong and his wife, albeit a common-law one, decided not to get married, but to raise a child in an open relationship.

In 1997, six films with the participation of this actor were released on the screens of Polish cinemas: “The Dark Side of Venus”, “Killer”, “Glory and Praise”, “Love and Do What You Want”, “Young Wolves 1, 2”, and also "Marion of Fowe". Thanks to these works, Polish audiences fell in love with the actor; 1997 became the most “profitable” year for the actor.

Later, the actor realized that it was very difficult for him to act in several films at the same time, so since 1998, no more than five films with Pavel’s participation are released annually. However, in 2011 and 2012, DeLonge made an exception to his rules, noting that he was too interested in the proposed projects - “The Salamander Key”, “The Kiss of Socrates”, “1812: The Uhlan Ballad”, “Department of the S.S.S. .R.".

Soon after the start of his acting career, Pavel was awarded the most prestigious awards in European countries, where a talented artist is valued quite highly and they are happy to welcome him. DeLong's homeland also did not stand aside - in 2001, Pavel was awarded the prestigious Teleamor award for his acting and civic services.

However, their personal life did not work out, they broke up, but the artist still takes an active part in the life of his son.

Pavel Delong was almost sure that his son would follow in the footsteps of his parents and connect his biography with the acting profession, but Delong Jr. chose a different path.

“I thought that Pavel would also choose the profession of an actor, but as a result he became a manager. True, in the film business. He’s charming, knows how to communicate with people, and he loves what he does,” says the actor.

Polish media have repeatedly written about another affair of the artist - with a doctor and co-owner of a dental clinic in Warsaw.

Pavel Delong and Emma Kevorkova-Rachkovskaya

He was often seen with Emma Kevorkova-Rachkovskaya in public places, at theater premieres, social events, but the couple did not comment on their relationship. After filming together in the film “Stirlitz’s Wife,” rumors appeared about DeLong’s affair with Russian actress Anna Gorshkova, but they were never confirmed.

Also shrouded in mystery is another romance in Pavel Delong’s personal life - with Ekaterina Arkharova. They were first seen together at the Bridge Of Arts festival, but, according to some reports, the Polish actor began dating Marat Basharov’s ex-wife much earlier.

And again, Pavel did not comment on his next romance, but, according to the testimony of friends of the couple, it is simply impossible not to notice how happy they were.

It is unknown how Pavel Delong’s personal life is shaping up now, but he is still officially not married, although he dreams of his own family and wife.

“I’m quite inclined towards family, but with my own woman,” shares the actor.

Pavel Delong and criticism

Pavel Delong, whose biography, personal life and talent are of interest to cinema fans, is rightfully considered one of the most beautiful and charismatic male actors acting in modern cinema, as many critics have noted. Some of them slander, claiming that everything that DeLonge has today, he got thanks not to his acting talent, but to his bright, pretty appearance.

To spite all envious people and to the delight of all his fans, Pavel Delong continues to actively act in films and play in the theater. According to the directors who worked with the actor, Pavel is distinguished by his furious efficiency and is ready to work on set all day long; a career for him is the most important value in life.

Filmography

Already in Schindler's List, DeLong showed himself to be a talented, deep actor. Therefore, he was offered diverse roles. He starred in dramatic, psychological, historical films, as well as comedies and TV series.

The actor’s most striking works include:

  • "Death in Shallow Waters";
  • "Get from rows";
  • "Shaman"
  • "Killer";
  • "The Subtle Sides of Venus";
  • "Deserters' Gold"
  • "In good and in evil."

Since 2001, the actor began to collaborate with directors from other countries. He starred in several Belarusian films, including “Assassination”, “1812: Ulan Ballad”. In 2008, DeLonge starred in the United States in the film “Home.” And three years later he was offered a job in the French film “The Fate of Rome.” In the film, the actor got the most interesting role of the legendary Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius.

In addition, since 2008, Pavel Delong begins to actively act in Russian films. The first work with a Russian director took place in the film “In June 41”. This was followed by offers from other directors.

He starred in the following domestic films:

  • "Sniper: weapon of retaliation";
  • "Stirlitz's Wife";
  • "Salamander Key"
  • "Angel and demon";
  • "Beach"";
  • "Others";
  • "Viking".

In Russian cinema, as in world cinema, Pavel Delong plays versatile heroes. There was no specific role assigned to him. Getting leading roles was never his first priority. He willingly plays supporting roles if his characters are interesting and multifaceted.

Since he is a fairly well-known media personality, his relationships with women have always been of interest to the public.

But the problem today is that you won’t be able to find photos together with your wife or children; you won’t be able to find out about Pavel Delong’s personal life; he is very secretive and is currently single.

The actor is already 47 years old, but he continues to delight fans with new roles and projects.

Secrets of the talented Polish actor

Today, many directors dream of working with Pavel, both beginners and eminent ones, but the actor does not agree to all offers. DeLonge is periodically invited to star in Hollywood projects, and this can be considered the highest award for an actor. This fact is an indicator that it is not Pavel’s sexuality that is the key to the development of his acting career.

The actor’s intimate life is his secret, which only his family and closest friends know about. Women all over Europe are ready to give a lot to spend at least a couple of hours next to him, but the actor himself looks at this with slight irony. At first glance, it may seem that he doesn’t care at all what people think about him, but this is far from the case.

Judging by the fact that DeLong even keeps the name of the mother of his own son a secret, he is not ready to allow anyone into his personal life, and this especially applies to reporters who want to pry out all his secrets. The only representative of the fair sex in the actor’s life that the press knows about is his sister.

Gossip and rumors

The actor appears alone at all social events, providing envious people with further reasons for gossip. The entire theater scene in Europe constantly discusses the inaccessible handsome man; some of Pavel’s colleagues even consider him a representative of non-traditional sexual orientation.

However, journalists are convinced that the gossip that DeLonge is gay has no basis, since the actor often blurts out in interviews about his hobby - visiting cinemas with his lady love. In one of the interviews, the actor said that a woman should not have a lot of free time, otherwise she begins to think about various stupid things and cannot concentrate on what is happening in her life.

Creative projects of Pavel Delong

It is known that in his free time, Pavel Delong, whose biography, personal life and work are carefully hidden from prying eyes, likes to read classical literature and play sports. Today, the actor’s creative baggage includes about 45 film roles and a large number of performances, however, Pavel is not going to stop there.

Among Pavel's most famous Russian-language projects is O, released in 2008. There, the actor played the role of Captain Otto Regner, one of the Poles opposing the main character played by Sergei Bezrukov. Actor Pavel Delong recalled that this role was not easy for him, since he had to get used to the realities of the Second World War, about which he knew not so much before.

In 2013, the television series “Angel or Demon” was released, where DeLonge got one of the leading roles. This time he plays Oleg Yakovlev, a journalist who has fallen into apathy and is experiencing a creative crisis. Thanks to this role, Pavel Delong, whose photos often appear on the covers of glossy magazines, received a new army of fans and fans from Russia who constantly besiege the idol’s personal email in the hope of communicating with him and getting an autograph.

Pavel Delong: “Russian actresses are very shy in bed”

The Polish actor, who played the main role in the TV series “Two Against Death,” suffered from love

Last week, two TV channels simultaneously showed series with the participation of the popular Polish actor Pavel Delong. The 49-year-old macho pleased viewers of the first button in the project “Two Against Death,” and on the Domashny channel he also played the main role in the melodrama “Marry a General.”

DeLonge was noticed a quarter of a century ago after his debut role as Serbian refugee Dolek Horowitz in Steven Spielberg's cult war drama Schindler's List. And then he began actively filming in Russia. Following your numerous requests, we reached Pavel in Warsaw.

— Hello, Pavel, I’m glad I found you in your homeland. Colleagues assured that you can be found much more often on filming in Moscow.

— I live in Poland and have no plans to move anywhere, this is my homeland. And business trips around the world have long been a normal occurrence. I have many friends. And in Russia as well. I like your culture. I learned Russian quite well about 15 years ago, although I studied it at school, but not seriously.

— Why were you re-voiced in the series “Two Against All”?

- I am very upset about this. Maybe less than the other Polish guy from the same project - Alex Komorowski. He is not an actor by profession, but a businessman, although he sometimes acts in films and barely speaks your language. It’s clear that we both speak with an accent, but according to the script, we were supposed to be foreigners in the beginning. Then everything changed, and we suddenly became Russian. I don’t understand why they decided this way. Had I known about this in advance, I would not have agreed to film. For me, someone else's voice acting is a violation of the actor's rights. My voice is a part of me.

— How did you like working with Ekaterina Guseva?

- Great. Katya and I once crossed paths at a casting for another project, but then we never managed to play together. However, our duet was noticed, and both were invited to “Two Against Death”. Three years have passed since filming began. To be honest, I stopped waiting for the premiere on TV a long time ago. But, thank God, at least now it has happened. Now I’m starring alongside another Russian beauty, Olga Pogodina, in the spy series “The Legend of Ferrari.” She herself and her husband Alexey Pimanov .

— We never got to see your sex scene with Guseva. Maybe you'll get lucky with Pogodina?

- Mmm... In Russia, everything is very strict with this matter on TV. It’s funny that many channels allow showing, say, the brutal execution of a hero, when something is poked in his eyes or his teeth are knocked out, but sex scenes are often prohibited. They say that kissing a girl on a beautiful breast is vulgarity. Personally, this is strange for me. Plus, many Russian actresses are very shy in bed.

— But behind the scenes, probably, at least somewhere. After all, you were credited with passionate affairs with partners Anna Gorshkova and Ekaterina Arkharova. Is it true that after Arkharova left the brawler Marat Basharov, it was you who consoled her?

- Not true. It's funny when people write about this. Although I felt sympathy for all my partners. The thread is important to look sincere on screen. But he never had affairs on the set . I just admired the wonderful Gorshkova , Guseva , Babenko . They have excellent families, and Katya Arkharova is about to give birth to a child for her husband. And it’s right that she left Basharov . It’s a nightmare if a man could raise his hand to a woman. By the way, Russians are very different from Europeans in this regard. Your man, as a rule, is a protector, a wall. And we need to understand the reasons when the guy was so driven that he was able to hit the woman. Either way, there's something wrong with him. Passion, of course, can be aggressive, but you need to think carefully about whether you need such a relationship. In general, my religion is Buddhism. I strive for harmony in everything.

- In love, then, too? Tell us about your girlfriend or wife.

— I have never been officially married yet. Although next year I will turn 50. On the one hand, marriage is a union of equals created by God. Sometimes you have to look for your woman all your life. On the other hand, marriage is a government document. And why should the state interfere in your personal life? Now my heart is busy, but I don’t want to talk about my girlfriend. Love loves silence.

— Does your 26-year-old son Pavel share similar views? He's just as handsome as you.

— Pavel is not married yet. Works as a manager. And in his free time he likes to sing, like me, but more for himself. We maintained good relations with his mother, the Polish actress Katarzyna Gaidarska We have known each other for 30 years, we rejoice in each other’s successes. It was Katarzyna who wanted to name our son like me. Glad he didn't follow in our footsteps. Using the example of my parents, I realized that being an actor is very difficult.

— At one time they wrote that you were having an affair with dentist Emma Kevorkova, co-owner of a Warsaw clinic and an Armenian by origin.

- Yes, Emma was in my life, but this story has been completed for more than three years. It doesn’t matter who your soulmate is by profession or nationality. If there is chemistry, you fall in love and realize that finally the right person has come into your life. And nothing else is needed. But then the relationship ends, and a big hole is left in the heart. And sometimes it only seems to us that this is love. It was really just passion. Love is deep. Implies trust and safety. You cannot breathe without another person, but next to him you feel like the wisest, most beautiful and necessary. Only then should you get married...

Pavel and fans

It must be said that the actor really tries to respond to all his fans, in any case, most of the fans who communicate with him through social networks receive messages from him. In the very near future, the actor will continue filming in European films, after which he plans to take a short vacation to focus on reading new scripts and considering offers.

Among other things, Pavel Delong leads an active public life and does not hesitate to express his own opinion regarding certain political issues. From time to time he holds Internet conferences with his fans, where he discusses what is happening in the world with them on equal terms.

The actor behaves quite modestly, and according to his own assurances, the very fact that Pavel is called the sex symbol of modern Europe gives the artist a lot of inconvenience. That is why Pavel Delong, whose films are extremely popular, prefers to hide his personal life from outsiders, not allowing anyone to know his secrets.

In 2013, four works with the participation of Pavel Delong were released: “Glaciers”, “Beach”, as well as two serial feature films - “Marriage by Will-3” and the previously mentioned “Angel or Demon”. Now the actor is focusing on working in the theater and is reading new scripts.
