Biography
Roman Tretyakov is the captain of the KVN teams “Virtual Students” and “Quiet Don”, a participant in the TNT channel TV project “House 2”, became famous for his connection with Olga Buzova, a showman, television and radio host.
One of the most prominent participants in the Dom-2 show, Roman Tretyakov, was born in Taganrog in the summer of 1980. But soon after the birth of his son, the head of the family moved his wife and little Roma to the town of Aramil not far from Yekaterinburg. Over the next 10 years, the family changed their place of residence five times, moving from one garrison to another. These constant moves and the need to part with newly acquired friends forever discouraged Roman Tretyakov from following in his father’s footsteps.
Showman Roman Tretyakov
Roman Tretyakov’s dream was simple: to become famous. Make sure everyone recognizes you and asks for an autograph when you meet. The way to achieve the goal was also simple: you need to “get on TV.” But this turned out to be more difficult. Therefore, the guy decided that the TV could initially be replaced with a radio, which also made it possible to achieve recognition.
Therefore, after graduating from secondary school, Roman Tretyakov went to enter the Taganrog Radio Engineering University. The choice was made solely because of the presence of the word “radio” in the name of the university.
The learning process immediately seemed boring to Roman Tretyakov. Participation in the university KVN team brought some variety to the gray everyday life. Here Roman could easily roam, as he had creativity and a great sense of humor. The young man came up with new jokes, wrote scripts and appeared on stage as an artist.
Roman Tretyakov
In 2002, Roman Tretyakov's dream came true. Taganrog KVN players “got on TV.” But, as it turned out, the dream only half came true. The guy, as before, was not recognized on the street, and no one stood in line for an autograph.
Tretyakov family1781
The Tretyakov merchant family traces its history back to the district town of Maloyaroslavets, Kaluga governorate, from where P.M. Tretyakov’s great-grandfather Elisey Martynovich (1704–1783) arrived in Moscow in 1774 with his wife and sons.
The following generations of Tretyakovs successfully expanded trade and increased capital. Things were going especially well for Mikhail Zakharovich Tretyakov (1801–1850), which was facilitated by his successful marriage to the daughter of a large merchant exporting lard to England, Alexandra Danilovna Borisova (1812–1899). On December 15 (27), 1832, their first child was born, the future founder of the famous art gallery Pavel Mikhailovich Tretyakov. After him were born Sergei (1834–1892), Elizaveta (1835–1870), Daniil (1836–1848), Sofia (1839–1902), Alexandra (1843–1848), Nikolai (1844–1848), Mikhail (1846–1848) ), Nadezhda (1849–1939).
In 1848, the family suffered grief: four children died of scarlet fever, and in 1850 Mikhail Zakharovich Tretyakov himself died. After his death, all movable and immovable property went to his two sons, Pavel and Sergei, who successfully continued their father’s trading business.

The mother remained the complete mistress of the house. According to the last will of Mikhail Zakharovich, the eldest of the sisters, Elizaveta, who was only 15 years old, was preparing to marry the senior trusted clerk Vasily Dmitrievich Konshin. Wanting Konshin to get involved, M.Z. Tretyakov decided to seal the cooperation with marriage. Relatives did not heed their daughter’s desperate pleas, and in 1852 Elizabeth, obedient to her father’s will, got married. In connection with this marriage, a spacious house was previously purchased in Moscow, in the area of modern Tolmachevsky Lanes, where the Tretyakov family and the Konshina spouses moved in. Until 1859, merchant affairs were conducted on behalf of Alexandra Danilovna Tretyakova, who was “temporarily” considered a merchant of the 2nd guild. On January 1, 1860, the trading house “P. and S. brothers Tretyakov and V. Konshin.”

By this time, the youngest of the Tretyakov brothers, Sergei, was already married; in 1856, his wedding took place with Elizaveta Sergeevna Mazurina (1837–1860). Unfortunately, the happy marriage did not last long; after giving birth to a son, Nikolai (1857–1896), Elizaveta Sergeevna soon died. In 1868, Sergei Mikhailovich entered into a second marriage with Elena Andreevna Matveeva.
The eldest of the brothers, Pavel, did not marry for a long time. Only in August 1865 did his wedding take place with Vera Nikolaevna Mamontova (1844–1899), cousin of the famous philanthropist Savva Ivanovich Mamontov (1841–1918). The beginning of a long, happy family life was laid. In 1866, the eldest daughter Vera (1866–1940) was born, then Alexandra (1867–1959), Lyubov (1870–1928), Mikhail (1871–1912), Maria (1875–1952), Ivan (1878–1887). Everyone in the family loved each other. Pavel Mikhailovich Tretyakov wrote to his wife: “I sincerely thank God and you from the bottom of my heart that I had the opportunity to make you happy, however, the children have a lot of blame here: without them there would be no complete happiness!” Many years later, recalling these days, the eldest of the daughters, Vera Pavlovna, will write in her memoirs: “If childhood can really be happy, then my childhood was like that. That trust, that harmony between loved ones who loved us and cared for us, was, it seems to me, the most valuable and joyful.” In 1887, Vanya, everyone’s favorite and his father’s hope, died of scarlet fever complicated by meningitis. Pavel Mikhailovich's grief knew no bounds.
The second son, Mikhail, was born sick, weak-minded and never brought joy to his parents. Tretyakov’s daughter Alexandra recalled: “From that time on, my father’s character changed a lot. He became gloomy and silent. And only his grandchildren made the former affection appear in his eyes.”

In 1887, the eldest daughter Vera married the talented pianist Alexander Ilyich Ziloti, cousin of the composer S.V. Rachmaninov. Vera herself was a capable pianist. The Tretyakovs' relative, composer P.I. Tchaikovsky, advised her to enter the conservatory. But Pavel Mikhailovich Tretyakov adhered to traditional views on raising children: he gave his daughters an excellent home education. Music, literature, foreign languages, concerts, theaters, art exhibitions, travel - these are the components of home education in the Tretyakov family. Artists, writers, musicians visited their house, including I.S. Turgenev, P.I. Tchaikovsky, A.G. Rubinstein, I.E. Repin, I.N. Kramskoy, V.M. Vasnetsov, V. G. Perov, V. D. Polenov and many, many others.
The Tretyakovs loved to travel, with and without children, in their native country and abroad. Pavel Mikhailovich himself made long, long trips every year. At the end of his life, admiring the beauty of nature in the Pyrenees, he wrote to his wife: “Again I felt that it was worth living to see and enjoy this highest pleasure.”
Both Pavel Mikhailovich and Vera Nikolaevna were people with a keen sense of nature, art, and music. Their children grew up the same way. The eldest daughter married a musician and was happy with him all her life. During her father's lifetime, Lyubov Pavlovna, with his blessing, married the artist N.N. Gritsenko.
In her second marriage, she was married to the famous artist L. S. Bakst, known not only for his paintings, but also for designing ballets for S. P. Diaghilev’s Russian seasons in Paris. The other two daughters married the Botkin brothers, sons of the famous clinician Sergei Petrovich Botkin (1832–1889). Alexandra - for the doctor and collector Sergei Sergeevich Botkin, Maria - for the military sailor, doctor, inventor, traveler Alexander Sergeevich Botkin.
Pavel Mikhailovich Tretyakov did not prevent his daughters from dating, although he tried to influence their choice. Having provided for his family financially, he believed that money should serve better purposes than simply being spent on immediate needs.

A letter from P.M. Tretyakov to his daughter Alexandra has been preserved, where he writes:
“My idea was from a very young age to make money so that what was acquired from society would also be returned to society (the people) in some useful institutions [emphasis added]; this thought has never left me throughout my entire life... The provision must be such that it would not allow a person to live without work.”
Pavel Mikhailovich himself worked a lot and had few free minutes.
Most of the time was taken up by commercial and industrial affairs - management of the Kostroma flax spinning factory, shops and others, and all the remaining time was devoted to his favorite brainchild - the gallery (visiting exhibitions, artists, construction work in the gallery, hanging, compiling a catalog, etc.). There were also charitable activities. P.M. Tretyakov devoted a lot of effort to the Arnold School for the Deaf and Mutes, of which he was a trustee. He also took part in the activities of the Orthodox Missionary Society, was involved in the care of the poor, was a member of the Commercial Court, and of course was a member of various societies - artistic, charitable, commercial. Pavel Mikhailovich did a lot of good things during his life, and even then... According to his will, large sums of money were allocated for the maintenance of the gallery, for the Arnold School, for various scholarships, etc.
P.M. Tretyakov died on December 4 (16), 1898, 3 months later his wife Vera Nikolaevna died.
TV show
Roman Tretyakov did not want to give up. Therefore, having heard about the casting for those wishing to participate in the new show “Dom-2. Build your love,” the young man immediately went to the local palace of culture. The guy was ready for a lot, but all he had to do was pick up the number and loudly call his own name and phone number. Roman was 100 percent sure that they would take him. His small stature (164 cm) and his dissimilarity to Brad Pitt did not shake this confidence at all. Roma knew that he was damn charming and could outshine even the notorious Hollywood star with his charisma.

The calculation turned out to be correct: the guy was taken. Thus began the creative biography of Roman Tretyakov on an amazing project, which brought together no less amazing people with the goal of “building love.”
The novel came to the right place at the right time. Tretyakov's jokes caused laughter. The creativity, talent of a mass entertainer and artistry of the young man were immediately noticed. The guy became the star of the project and the soul of the company. True, project participants sometimes called Roma an “evil dwarf” behind his back. Some of the young man’s provocations turned out to be not so harmless. Tretyakov became the initiator of scandals with other young men of the project. Spectators watched the fights of Roman Tretyakov with Sergei Palych, Stepan Menshchikov, Andrei Chuev.
At the beginning of the project, Roman Tretyakov undertook to “build love” with the charming Elena Berkova. The couple even had a joke wedding. The relationship developed until Lena was asked to leave the project. The reason was a scandal from the girl’s pornographic past that came to light.
Roman Tretyakov and Elena Berkova
Tretyakov did not manage to find and build a new love right away. The feeling arose by chance. One day Roman suggested that a model-looking participant, Olga Buzova, fool around and jump in the mud. Relationships between young people of different character and temperament developed slowly. Roman Tretyakov and Olga Buzova often argued and quarreled. However, the couple received the highest ratings on the show.
Tretyakov and Buzova wrote a book about relationships. “A Romance with Buzova,” advertised by the TV channel, turned into a bestseller. The guys decided to continue cooperation and immediately published a second book, calling the work “A Romance with Buzova. Love on-line." And this work about the love story of two participants in the television set also found a response in the hearts of young people.
Roman Tretyakov and Olga Buzova
Closer to the summer of 2007, the relationship between Tretyakov and Buzova completely deteriorated. Olga tried her best to save the union, but to no avail. The couple broke up. At the end of August, Tretyakov left the show. Roman's stay on the project was long - 1202 days. The young man cited “family circumstances” as the reason for leaving. Tretyakov later wrote a book called “Love for Money. Fuck the affair with Buzova,” where he frankly said that he did not leave the project on his own, but with the help of management. Allegedly, the creators of the project did not like that the participant posted the video without permission.
Tretyakov’s adaptation to life outside the project turned out to be difficult and even led to prolonged depression. The popularity passed, but there was no work. It was impossible to get a job on television. In the mid-2000s, the artist only received a cameo role in the top-rated sitcom “Happy Together,” where he appeared in a cameo role.
Roman Tretyakov
Later, Roman Tretyakov began to earn his living by doing what he could: organizing weddings, corporate events and parties, for which he wrote scripts himself.
In 2020, Roman Tretyakov distinguished himself in a new role. The showman was invited to work on the musical accompaniment for the series by Kazakh filmmakers “Zhibek” about a young girl who moves to the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, for the sake of studying.

Childhood and family

Roman's father was a military man and after the birth of the boy he took his wife and son to the military town of Aramil (not far from Yekaterinburg), where he served.
In ten years, Roma had to change 5 schools. Military garrisons and constant travel discouraged the boy from becoming a military man. Even during his school years, Roman knew what he wanted from life. All he wanted was to become famous, to be recognized and talked about. And for this, as the young man believed, you just need to “get on TV.” However, for starters, he agreed to go on the radio. Having received a matriculation certificate at the end of school, Roman entered the Taganrog Radio Engineering University. As the young man himself admits, the choice in favor of this university was made only because its name contained the word “radio”. Studying did not bring much pleasure, but at the university I had the opportunity to show my creative potential by playing in the university KVN team. After all, KVN is shown on TV with enviable regularity, which means, as Roma believed, fame is not far away.
An enterprising young man gathered a team of like-minded people at the university and the guys began joking on stage. In 2002, the KVN team, in which Roma played, was shown on central television. However, this did not bring much popularity. On the street, Roma was still recognized only by relatives, friends, neighbors, classmates, university teachers and grateful fans of the Taganrog KVN team.

But Roman is not used to giving up. Therefore, having heard that a casting was announced for participation in the reality show “Dom-2. Build your love,” he resolutely went to the local House of Culture. Tretyakov did not know what exactly needed to be done at the casting, but he decided for himself: he would do everything to make his dream come true. The task turned out to be easy. He was asked to take his registration number in his hands and say out loud very loudly his name and his contact phone number. So, short, not very handsome (by generally accepted standards), but very charming, with a good sense of humor, the young man became one of the participants in the popular show. Having hired Roman for the project, the show organizers never regretted it. The provocateur Roma skillfully created situations that forced the guys to act. Tretyakov was rightfully considered the most important creative person, a sort of mass entertainer of the project.

It was with his appearance that various competitions began to take place, for which Roman wrote scripts. He was the author of all kinds of parodies and practical jokes, the soul of the company. But not everyone liked the guy’s combination of such qualities as sparkling humor and seriousness, prudence and prudence, romanticism and pragmatism, restraint and violent outbursts of jealousy. Many were irritated by the external calm and excessive self-confidence of “little” Roma. Project participants (and others) behind their backs called Roman an “evil dwarf.” And how could you calmly react to the provocations that the guy staged from time to time?! One of these scandalous stories occurred at the very beginning of the project. Then Roman built a relationship with Elena Berkova. And, as it seemed even to him, they were doing a good job. Pictures of the comic wedding played by the guys pop up in the memory of the audience and participants of the show. How surprised everyone was when Roman did not move while the rest of the participants were escorting Lena out the gate. She was forced to leave the project due to a scandalous story from her pornographic past that unexpectedly surfaced. It was not possible to build a relationship with a new girl right away, and Roman was in no hurry. He was great at attracting the attention of cameras with simple discussions at a construction site. Tretyakov knew how to notice what others did not notice, what was not on the surface, and turned what was happening in the “camp” inside out. The new relationship arose completely frivolously. Roman invited Olga Buzova, a model-looking participant... to jump in the mud. Despite all the efforts of Olya and Roma, the relationship did not go very smoothly at the very beginning. Olga is a flirt who loved to flirt; she was flattered by the attention of other guys participating in the show. Roma was annoyed by this. They even had several serious scandals that could lead to a breakup.

For a long time, the pair Olya - Roma had the highest ratings. Together they hosted a radio program, went to college for classes together, and played sports together. Together they became hosts of another popular television show. The management of the TV show decided to immortalize the popular characters of the show and now their wax figures can be seen in the Moscow Wax Museum. Roman persuades Olga to talk about their relationship in a book, and three months later the work was published. Thanks to the promotion and active advertising support of the TV channel, the first book, “A Romance with Buzova,” becomes a bestseller. Next came the second one - “Romance with Buzova. Love on-line", which was also a success. However, the popularity, support and sympathy of the audience does not save the couple’s relationship, which by the summer of 2007 had completely deteriorated. Olga increasingly irritates Roma, although she was the one who really wanted to preserve and save her feelings. Everything that previously touched Roman about Olga began to be openly criticized: he does not like her speech or thoughts. In general, according to Roma, everything that Olga says lately is sheer nonsense.

Leaving the Dom-2 project
On August 30, 2007, Roman Tretyakov left the project, having spent 1202 days on it. The official reason for the departure of the bright and extraordinary hero was called “family circumstances.” Nobody knows the real reason. However, in his book “Love for Money. Fuck the affair with Buzova.” Roman says that his departure was far from voluntary. According to Roman, this decision was made by the project management, which until recently was making good money from it. And the reason was allegedly a video that Roman posted on the Internet without the knowledge of management. THE LIFE OF ROMAN TRETYAKOV AFTER “HOUSE-2” After leaving the project, Roman, like many other participants, began a difficult period of adaptation to the realities of life. The slight euphoria of being recognized (what he had dreamed of for so long and what he had strived so hard for) gave way to a deep and long-lasting depression when his popularity began to fade. And it was even more difficult to get used to the fact that now I had to work. And not to work like on a project construction site, discussing other participants and their relationships, but to work for real - persistently, purposefully and daily.
Roman made repeated attempts to become a TV presenter on various channels. But all attempts ended in failure. Tretyakov was never able to get rid of the mask he acquired on the popular reality show.
Roman Tretyakov today
Now Roman is doing what he knows how to do, what he likes, what he loves - holding weddings, parties, corporate events, for which he himself writes scripts.
