Svetlana Razina: short biography, photos and videos, personal life

Biography

The era of the 80–90s in the USSR was marked not only by political events, but also by fashion trends that do not lose their relevance to this day. This applies to both clothing and music. At that time, young fashionistas in extravagant outfits loved to go to discos and dance to the immortal hits of Modern Talking, Depeche Mode, Tender May and, of course, Mirage, in which the seductive Svetlana Razina performed. At that time, she became a style setter for girls and women, and her clear voice was heard from all radios in the country.

Duplicate compositions of “Tender May” and “clones” of Yura Shatunov

Having accidentally heard a song performed by the group “Tender May,” which at first included only a pupil of the Orenburg orphanage Yura Shatunov and the head of the music group Sergei Kuznetsov , Andrei Razin immediately realized how lucky he was. He found the group, added several more orphanage residents to it and brought everyone to Moscow.

The group instantly became popular. Tickets for the concerts sold like hot cakes, but this was not enough for Razin. The producer, who, thanks to the Mirage group, learned to work with “plywood”, decided to use this idea here. He gathered several more children's groups, gave them the same clothes as the real "Tender May", and began sending them on tour. The guys sang along with a soundtrack, and the fans had no idea about the deception, because they did not know what the members of this group looked like - taking photographs at concerts was prohibited and they were not shown on TV.

It got to the point that at some point, 60 groups with the name “Tender May” and 30 singers named Yura Shatunov were traveling around the country at once.

Razin’s sweet life ended when, in January 1989, the “Morning Mail” program showed a video for the song “White Roses.” Many fans of “Tender May”, who have attended his concerts more than once, realized that, roughly speaking, they had been “dumped.” A criminal case was opened on this fact; Razin was suspected of theft of socialist property.

Childhood and youth

Svetlana Albertovna Razina was born on June 23, 1962 in Moscow. The parents of the future soloist of the Mirage group noticed early on that their daughter was drawn to creativity, so without hesitation they decided to channel her artistic potential in the right direction. Mom took the girl to a music club, an accordion class.

True, Sveta did not like him and was reluctant to attend creative classes, because she dreamed of learning to play the piano. Since the Razin family lived in a small apartment, the parents could not afford to purchase this instrument due to the banal lack of space in the rooms.

Yet, when mother, father and daughter moved to a larger apartment, the adults fulfilled the young artist’s dream and gave her the desired piano.

It is also known that the future pop star as a child sang in the Big Children's Choir of the USSR State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company under the direction of V. Popov, which was formed in 1970. At the same time, Razina attended classes at the school of folk music and dance at the Central House of Artists.

As a child, Svetlana Razina diligently studied at a comprehensive school, but the young beauty did not like labor lessons. According to the singer’s recollections, sewing was annoying, but over time, creating beautiful evening dresses became her hobby.

Although Razina’s entire biography is imbued with creativity, after graduating from high school the girl chose not an artistic profession. Young Sveta, at the insistence of her parents, entered the MATI named after K. E. Tsiolkovsky to major in industrial engineering. The mother of the future artist explained her position quite logically. According to the woman, her daughter had an undeniable talent for singing, and therefore did not need additional vocal education.

Svetlana Razina and her brother

“If you are destined, then you will always have time to get to your favorite stage,” said the singer’s mother.

However, in interviews Svetlana Albertovna still recalls with a pleasant trembling in her hands the unrealizable profession. After graduating from high school, the future soloist of “Mirage” interned at a production plant, and, according to the artist, she is sometimes drawn to “build airplanes.”

The craving for creativity nevertheless made itself felt: Razina became a member of the Rodnik student group, where she sang and mastered playing the bass guitar.

Even after graduating from university, the girl enjoyed performing as a member of Rodnik, and between work breaks she entertained her colleagues by playing the harmonica.

Personal life

Despite her spectacular popularity, in real life Svetlana Razina is an open and sociable person. For example, the pop singer is ready to answer all questions from journalists in any free time.

The former lead singer of “Mirage” willingly shares details of her personal life with fans. For example, in 2009, Svetlana Razina published a biographical book, “Music Connected Us. All the secrets of “Mirage”. She also wrote a column in the newspaper of the publishing house “Sobesednik” “Yellow Press”, where she joyfully shared memories from the past with readers.

The bushy-haired singer loves listening to music. According to rumors, the immortal ABBA, the queen of the pop scene Madonna and even the German rock band Rammstein play on her speakers.

As for love relationships, the celebrity’s first husband was Valery Sokolov. In 2000, the singer gave birth to a daughter, Alisa (the media are still spreading rumors and wondering who the girl’s true father is, although the main hypothesis is Stas Hristov). However, the family idyll fell apart after Svetlana fell in love with DJ Georgiy, who is 15 years younger than her. Strong and lasting family ties did not develop with the young suitor, because the flighty guy left for another.

The third lover of the celebrity was businessman Andrei Razin, but this relationship also failed.

Svetlana Razina - “Butterfly Night”

It is worth noting that Svetlana Razina is a woman of strong character. After a “late” birth, the artist, with poor health, spent a long time in the hospital. It is likely that the consequences of a car accident that happened in his youth contributed to this misfortune. In any case, the performer was not only able to get back on her feet, but also return to the stage.

The last lover turned out to be Boris Karpov, who in fact turned out to be not the person with whom the star would like to share happiness. After he was involved in fraud and theft of her personal property, Svetlana immediately broke up with her next husband.

Recently, Razina has often been seen in the company of the young dancer Dinar Bashirov, which does not seem to be a coincidence.

Groups "Mirage" and "Fairy"

Svetlana Razina got into Mirage by accident, without prior recording or audition. The fact is that in a music store, a charming beauty met a guy who invited her to audition for the then new group, which had several compositions in its repertoire.

The charismatic Sveta so captivated the producer and composer of the group Andrei Lityagin with her acting skills that he immediately invited her to participate in the project. By the way, at that time Razina was offered a much more promising collaboration - to become a soloist of the Mosconcert.

Therefore, according to Svetlana, initially she wanted to shift all responsibility to Natalya Gulkina, whom she invited to Mirage, but she refused Lityagin for two or three months.

The girl nevertheless remained in “Mirage” and began her creative career in the famous team in 1987. In the same year, the group released a magnetic cassette “The Stars Are Waiting for Us,” which won the hearts of Soviet listeners.

From the biography of the group it is known that Svetlana Razina did not take part in the recording of the debut magnetic album, but 6 months later she delighted fans with “live” songs at concerts from the stage during tours.

The fact is that the tape contains the voices of two vocalists - Gulkina and opera singer Margarita Sukhankina, who preferred solo swimming to the Mirage.

Lityagin’s team became so famous that the creative ensemble gave 80-90 concert programs a month. But, despite the enviable popularity and fame, in 1988 Razina left Mirage along with Valery Sokolov to found another musical project called Fairy.

Soon “Fairy” released its debut album “Our Music”, and another former member of “Mirage” Inna Smirnova joined the new team.

In 1990, the creative team released the magnetic album “My Wind,” which is characterized by a mixture of various musical genres. For example, the song “You Will Be Mine” has echoes of punk, and the hit “Demon” belongs to the “incendiary dance” movement.

Music career

After school, Svetlana became a student at the Tsiolkovsky Moscow Aviation Technology Institute. Along with her studies, the girl immediately became a member of the student country group “Rodnik”, where she sang and mastered playing the bass guitar. At first she was taken into the group as a backing vocalist, but very soon she became the main soloist.

After receiving a diploma as a process engineer, Svetlana got a job at a plant. At lunchtime, she entertained her colleagues by singing and playing the harmonica, and in the evenings she continued to rehearse and perform with the Rodnik group. But over time, the singer wanted a greater manifestation of her talent, and she began to look for another group.

In 1987, Sveta auditioned for the pop group Mirage. The team was almost formed and even had one recorded magnetic album. Keyboardist and composer Andrei Lityagin wrote musical compositions, and Valery Sokolov wrote song poems, which were mainly aimed at a female audience. The group already had one soloist - Natalya Gulkina. Sveta successfully passed the test and quickly joined the new team.

The release of the first album aroused considerable interest in the group among listeners, and then Andrei Lityagin decided to start touring and began organizing concerts.

Stage costumes were difficult at that time. At first, Sveta sewed all the costumes for performances herself on her grandmother’s old sewing machine, because there was nowhere to buy them. Before the very first concert, I didn’t sleep all night because I was finishing off trousers with a jacket made of leatherette, which my mother got somewhere then.

At that time, Svetlana was still trying to combine her work as a process engineer with concert activities. With her first fees, Sveta bought a black blouse with gold lurex from a speculator from the Komsomol Central Committee, and aspiring musician Roma Zhukov, who played the “keys” in their group, brought her silver leggings from somewhere. This is how stage images were created in Soviet times.

A few months after the first concert performance, the density of Mirage’s tours reached 80-90 concerts per month. It turned out to be impossible to combine such a schedule with work at the factory, and Sveta quit, deciding to devote herself entirely to creativity. Female soloists in torn shorts, leggings and short skirts, singing popular compositions in clear voices, transformed the Soviet pop scene. The circulation of albums and the number of tours went through the roof, the band gained such popularity that for a long time no one could surpass them.

Svetlana was not only a soloist in Mirage, she wrote several songs:

  • "I am not kidding";
  • "New hero";
  • "Where I am".

But already in 1987, a split occurred in the group, as usually happens in creative teams that quickly become very fashionable. In addition, there was also increased female rivalry in the group - who has the coolest dress or the most beautiful jewelry. Natalya Gulkina was the first to leave Mirage.

New soloists Inna Smirnova and Natalya Vetlitskaya were accepted into the group, Razina continued to work with them. However, in mid-1988, Svetlana decided to leave Mirage; together with artistic director Valery Sokolov, they created a new creative team called “Fairy”.

By the end of the year, “Fairy” recorded and released its debut album, “Our Music.” Soon, Inna Smirnova joined the group from Mirage, and with her Svetlana Razina recorded the next two albums - “My Wind” and “Princess of Dreams”.

In 1994, Sveta left the Fairy group and began a solo career. The singer has released eleven albums, collaborated with many Russian pop performers as the author of song lyrics, and participated in many international projects.

In 2009, Razina released the book “Music Connected Us. All the secrets of Mirage." In the same year, the Mirage group reunited; the former soloists began performing together at various retro festivals. But the renewed team did not last even a year; Svetlana continued her solo concert activities.

Solo career

In 1994, Svetlana Razina gave preference to solo work. The artist stirred up the public's interest in her person, so she often used a variety of styles and images. In 1998, the singer released her solo album “Call yourself” with the song “Night Hunter”, and in 2008 - the disc “Music Has Connected Us”, which includes such compositions as “Sveta”, “Night is Coming”, “Like” ", "You will cry" and others.

In 2020, Svetlana Albertovna pleased fans with two videos - “Music of Dreams” and “Star from the Past.”

In the summer of 2017, the performer took part in a flash mob for the song “Dwarves,” which pleased her loyal fans.

Svetlana Razina now

In 2020, the premiere of a new album with the loud title “Star from the Past” took place. It includes 22 compositions, among which you can find remixes, previously released songs, joint hits with Nikita Osin and Julio Fernandez.

Svetlana is still devoted to creativity, writing poems and songs. In addition, she takes part in fashion shows and acts as a model.

The woman even now, being in adulthood, has an attractive appearance. Plastic surgery helps her in this, which she does not hide and speaks openly. The artist often turns to the help of editors to correct photos. To maintain youth, Svetlana Razina resorts to various procedures, doing regular facelifts and liposuction. Sport is also a major component of our lifestyle.

Svetlana Razina - “Sveta”

During the pandemic, while sitting in quarantine, Razina did not engage in creativity; moreover, on May 26, 2020, she made a shocking and, for many, sad statement. On her page on the social network VKontakte, she said that she was ending her creative career:

“My time is over, the situation in the country no longer involves working in the field of show business! It’s time for us to divide according to our interests!”

The last performance of the farewell song was scheduled for May 31, 2020 on television.
