Anna Arefieva: personal life (husband, children)

Biography

Vitaly Kishchenko - Honored Artist of Russia, laureate of the Golden Mask Award, has played in more than 30 Russian films and TV series.
He began acting in films only in the early 2000s, managing to make a rapid career in domestic cinema. Since childhood, Vitaly was distinguished by his artistry. When he came to the board to tell a fable, the class froze - an exciting performance, a mini-play, was about to take place. Therefore, the decision to enter the Krasnoyarsk Institute of Art was completely logical. Everyone around him predicted an acting career for him.

On the vastness of social networks you can often find photos of spouses and their heir. There are also photos on the Internet in which the actress appeared before the public in one or another stage image.

Theater

After receiving his diploma in 1985, the young artist was accepted into the troupe of the Krasnoyarsk Youth Theater. In 1989, he continued his career at the Tilsit Theater in the city of Sovetsk, then worked at the Kaliningrad Regional Drama Theater. Since 2011, he has been a guest actor at the Fyodor Volkov Drama Theater in Yaroslavl.

Since 2012, Vitaly has been performing on the stages of the capital's Mossovet and Moscow Art Theater theaters as a guest actor.

The actor's most famous theatrical works include: Astrov - "Uncle Vanya", Vershinin - "Three Sisters", Rakitin - "Heat", Arbenin - "Masquerade", Max - "Fight of the Butterflies", Othello - "Othello", Benvolio - “Romeo and Juliet”, Lysander - “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, Platonov - “Fatherless”, Student - “Ghost Sonata”, Kolyay Kolyaich - “Little Tatar”, Jean - “Frequin Julie”, Mark - “Drunk”, Lopakhin – “The Cherry Garden”, Frank – “Dreamworks – A dream comes true.”

Personal life

In 2014, on the set of the series “Officers' Wives,” Vitaly met actress Anna Arefieva from the Leningrad acting dynasty. The charming and sweet girl won the artist’s heart, and he decided to end his bachelor’s personal life by proposing to Anna.

That same year, the lovers got married and - coincidentally - began to play Figaro and Suzanne in the same theater and in the same play “The Marriage of Figaro”. In 2020, the creative couple had a son, Danila. Photos of the happy family can be seen on the actor’s social networks.

Movie

Vitaly Eduardovich came to the set as a mature artist with solid theatrical experience and impeccable acting skills. Having appeared in the mid-90s in one of the supporting roles in the film “I am a Russian Soldier,” Kishchenko reappeared on screens only in 2003. He played a cameo role in the drama “Lithuanian Transit”.

In 2007, Vitaly played in the acclaimed “Exile” by Andrei Zvyagintsev. “The story with Zvyagintsev began with the fact that I auditioned for all the roles in this film. As a result, they told me: “Vitalik, you look a little young.” Well, I thought that this was just another standard phrase that directors say so as not to offend the artist. I calmly left, thinking that I had gotten nowhere. A year later they called me back and said: “You will play Herman.” I've already forgotten who Herman is. This was one of the few roles that I did not audition for in this film. But it was precisely this role that I was approved for,” recalls the actor.

Then there was Alexander Mindadze’s drama “Separation” and Vitaly Vorobyov’s detective story “Attraction”. In the detective story "Brownie" Kishchenko played an excellent role as investigator Snesarev.

But real fame came to Vitaly after the release of the crime film “Escape.” Critics and viewers agreed that the character named Speech Therapist, played by the actor, is his best role. After all, he managed not only to skillfully play a negative hero, but to convey his deep tragedy. The speech therapist evokes hatred and pity at the same time.

2012 turned out to be a particularly successful year for Kishchenko. Karen Shakhnazarov entrusted the artist with the role of Fedotov in his acclaimed project “White Tiger” about the Great Patriotic War. The film represented Russia at the Oscars. Vitaly Kishchenko's performance was highly appreciated by foreign critics and spectators.

Among the most striking works of the artist in recent years are the films: “Mine” and “Trace”, “Sunstroke”.

After The White Tiger, Karen Shakhnazarov decided to continue collaborating with Kishchenko. The director approved the actor for the role of Karenin in the new film adaptation of the famous novel by Leo Tolstoy. The customer for the new production of Anna Karenina was the Russia 1 channel. The authors of the film invited famous actors Elizaveta Boyarskaya and Maxim Matveev to play the roles of Anna Karenina and Vronsky. This film version is based not only on Leo Tolstoy’s novel, but also on Vikenty Veresaev’s story “In the Japanese War” - the film will show the meeting between Vronsky and Anna Karenina’s adult son during the military conflict in Manchuria. The film is due to be released at the end of 2016.

Theater is a way to confess

Vitaly Saliy is a blond-haired and blue-eyed young theater and film actor. Confident and spontaneous by nature, most recently, in 2006, he graduated from the University of Theater, Film and Television. Karpenko-Kary. As a student, he joined Eduard Mitnitsky at the Drama and Comedy Theater on the left bank of the Dnieper, where he managed to play the main character in ten plays, as well as act in more than 20 television series and host two shows on the Ukraine TV channel (“Buba Show” and “I can’t believe my eyes”). But Vitaly and I talked exclusively about the theater.

Interviewed by: Ruzanna Martirosyan Photo: Olga Zakrevskaya

Date of birth: July 4, 1985 Profession: theater and film actor Favorite poet: Joseph Brodsky, Sergei Yesenin Favorite directors: Emir Kusturica, Andrei Tarkovsky, Georgy Danelia, the Coen brothers, Walt Disney Theater roles: Timur (“A Lifelong Deception”), soldier Chonkin (“Playing Chonkin”), Liola (“Where the Wind Blows”), Huckleberry Finn (“Tom Sawyer”), Kostya (“The Last Hero”), Chevalier Danceny, servant (“Dangerous Liaisons”), Sganoreli (“Guests”) are coming at midnight") Roles in the TV series: “White Roses of Hope”, “Money for Daughter”, “Ex-Girlfriend”, “The Third Wheel”, “Hunting the Werewolf”, “She-Wolf”, “Only Love”, “Moon - Odessa” , "The Mystery of St. Patrick", "Shark". Prizes and awards: Nominee for the Teletriumph 2011 award

The reason for the interview was the premiere of the play “A Lifelong Deception,” which took place in March of this year. We had the opportunity to see the author’s vision of director Ekaterina Stepankova’s “Double Surname” by Dina Rudina, written in 2001, at the Drama and Comedy Theater on the left bank of the Dnieper. Tired after the performance, but polite and smiling, Vitaly told us about theater and cinema, about life and its meaning.

– Do you agree with the opinion of your hero on the issue of betrayal? Would you never forgive him either? Vitaly Saliy: I think he spoke of youthful maximalism and adherence to the principles of his father. In the end, he forgave. Forgiveness is one of the main ideas of the play. I think I could forgive too.

– Happiness for Timur is “Sleeping, walking and eating,” and for you? Vitaly Saliy: Love! Live by love, experiencing it, feeling it completely. This is happiness.

– If you were a director and staged this play, what would you add or change? Vitaly Saliy: I wouldn’t change anything.

– Your first role was in the political fairy tale “How the Fox Reigned.” How did you feel when you went on stage for the first time? Were you afraid of something? Vitaly Saliy: I was afraid of everything, saw nothing, understood nothing. It was a wild horror - an extreme situation, as if newborn kittens were released into the street. Not knowing anything about the profession, not really understanding what theater is, we had to join the troupe and play. Years later, I realize how important it was for us (me and several other classmates), and I am grateful to Eduard Markovich for the fact that we initially studied at the theater.

– Can we say that Mr. Mitnitsky’s courses and his first roles given to you were such a creative springboard in your life? Vitaly Saliy: Of course! It is difficult to overestimate such an experience. We had wonderful teachers. At the university we would have been kept in warm conditions, but here we were given everything at once. Observing what was happening behind the scenes, before, during and after the performance, we slowly joined the creative process. After Eduard Markovich, we already came out, so to speak, with our hair combed.

– How would you characterize your current position? Is this the start or peak of your creative activity? Vitaly Saliy: It’s generally difficult to evaluate yourself. I can’t describe this situation in any way.

– Which role brings you more joy, your favorite role? Vitaly Saliy: It’s difficult to say. It’s as difficult as saying which child you love more. Each has its own story, special circumstances, troupe, director. They are all loved in their own way. There are roles to which I have put more effort and time, which I am still working on. So, for example, the role of Chonkin in “Playing Chonkin”, Liola in “Where the Wind Will Blow”, Sganorelle in “Guests Are Coming at Midnight”.

– What was more difficult? Why? Vitaly Saliy: The most difficult role was the role of Liola in “Where the Wind Will Blow” by Alexey Lisovets. He is a very demanding director. If something didn’t work out for me (and this happened often)), he insisted on his own - and I had to overcome myself. It’s both difficult and interesting at the same time (smiles – editor’s note).

– Are the views on images often different after reading the play and during the production by the director? Vitaly Saliy: It happens. But more often, even before reading the play, the director talks to you about what it will be about and what it will be like. Therefore, when reading, you already look at the character from the right angle.

– How do you combine work in the theater and on TV? Vitaly Saliy: Difficult. From morning to night, seven days a week (sighs - editor's note).

– What do you prefer? Vitaly Saliy: Roughly speaking, theater is like a gym for an athlete. Here you grow as an actor, you are educated by training your “professional muscles.” In cinema, as a rule, you exploit, using what you already know. Due to the fact that in Ukraine the filming process is accompanied by unprofessionalism and lack of time, even with a good director, there is no time to delve into the role and create it in detail.

– Are you hinting that cinema in Ukraine has not matured? Vitaly Saliy: They don’t let him grow, that’s why he’s not here. I have to act in Russian TV series.

- Just about this. Your film roles are mainly in TV series, but would you like to try yourself in a big movie? If yes, what role would you like to play? Vitaly Saliy: In a big way – that wouldn’t be bad! As for the role, I won’t say for sure. I know from experience that it is not the role that is more important, but the team: the partner and the director. You can play just a bunny in a fairy tale about a bunny, or you can play Hamlet, but it will turn out worse.

– So you, like Julia Lambert from Maugham’s “Theater,” think that only actors are terrible, and not roles? Vitaly Saliy: Oh, it happens that both the role and the actor are terrible. Anything happens.

– Admit it, do you watch the TV series you starred in? Vitaly Saliy: No, I don’t like it very much... Sometimes, however, I review it from a professional point of view in order to correct mistakes if filming is in progress and the series is already being broadcast.

– Don’t you think that theater requires more talent than cinema? Vitaly Saliy: Everything requires talent. Theater requires more effort.

– How do you understand the phrase “True talent must be hungry”? Vitaly Saliy: Nooo, I’m against it (laughs – editor’s note)! We must be spiritually and professionally hungry in order to grow vertically, but not physically hungry.

– In one of your interviews, you said that theater is a way to confess... Vitaly Saliy: This is a way to understand yourself, to think about life, about the meaning of your existence. The stage here plays the role of a tool for self-knowledge.

– Shakespeare said: “Life is a game, and people are actors in it.” This means that each of us is inevitably an actor. Is play an integral part of our lives? Vitaly Saliy: To some extent, yes.

– And in conclusion, what do you associate these words with? Vitaly Saliy: Theater is... a home, cinema is a dacha, the audience (viewers) is an instrument, acting is a profession, life is a path.
