Alexandra Strelchenko
Alexandra Strelchenko / gp.by Alexandra Strelchenko died in Moscow at the age of 83 after a long illness, stroke and road accident.

The Russian Song Theater reports that the artist has died on behalf of Nadezhda Babkina and the theater staff.

“The whole life of this talented woman was devoted to music and folk culture. She worthily continued the singing traditions laid down by Lydia Ruslanova, Olga Kovaleva, and Nadezhda Plevitskaya. At the same time, Alexandra Ilyinichna, over the years of creative activity, acquired an original style of performance, becoming a true professional in her field, a great populist singer.

Childhood and youth

The singer was born in the winter of 1937. Strelchenko’s small homeland is the Chaplino station in the Dnepropetrovsk region. The war took away both parents from Sasha, her older sister Valya and her younger brother Tolya: in 1941, their father died at the front, and their mother died 4 years later. Relatives sheltered only Valentina, and Shura and Tolik went to an orphanage.

Alexandra Strelchenko in her youth

After graduating from school, the future performer of the songs “I’ll go out into the street” and “I look into the blue lakes” got a job as a nanny in a kindergarten and entered the correspondence department of the Leningrad Pedagogical Institute named after Alexander Herzen. Strelchenko loved folklore. One day Sasha went to a concert of the Voronezh Folk Choir and after the performance asked to listen to her. The nugget girl was accepted into the team.

Career

Polina’s debut on the theater stage was the role of Zina Batyan in the play “Don’t Leave Me.” As a student, she continued to collaborate with the young drama theater of the Belarusian Army, and after graduation she was offered a job at the Film Actor Studio Theater. Syrkina was also remembered by the audience of the capital's Contemporary Art Theater, where she played in two performances. At the same time, she played a number of minor roles in films and TV series, and Polina became famous for her role as Anna in the film “Cadet,” which was filmed at the Belarusfilm studio and released in 2009.

Syrkina’s acting work in “Cadet” was awarded several awards, but the main recognition of the actress’s talent and bright performance was the fact that the director wanted to name the film after her heroine.

Now Polina has several theatrical roles and almost fifty characters created in films, of which the actress played leading roles in 20 films and TV series. She also took part in the dubbing of two animated films. The role of Dasha in the film “At Noon on the Pier” is not the brightest in Polina’s creative biography, but it turned out to be a turning point for the actress’s personal life.

Personal life

The people's artist lifted the veil over her personal life only in old age. Alexandra Ilyinichna married twice and both husbands were named Vladimir. The singer could not have children from her first husband, and did not want to have children from her second.

In 1967, Strelchenko married widowed KGB Major General Vladimir Yakovlevich Chekalov, who, according to rumors, took an active part in the overthrow of Nikita Khrushchev. The husband was 13 years older than Alexandra and had three children from his first marriage.

The family idyll lasted 2 years. In 1969, the singer was informed that Vladimir Yakovlevich had died while performing an official assignment. Strelchenko did not risk going into details.

The second husband of the vocalist was drummer Vladimir Morozov, who can be seen on the recording of Alexandra Ilyinichna’s song “On the Murom Path”. The singer called this union a partnership - the drummer became Strelchenko’s director and organized tours.

The man who found his way to health

Years of life 1912–1989

Information about the biography of Alexandra Nikolaevna is fragmentary and meager. From the book of her student and follower Mikhail Nikolaevich Shchetinin, some details are known. The father's name was Nikolai Dmitrievich Strelnikov, at the age of 37 he met his future wife Alexandra Severovna, at that time a 17-year-old young lady. The young people met during singing lessons with the famous tenor A.M. Davydova. Then they got married. In 1919, the wind of the revolution brought the Strelnikovs to Vladivostok, by this time the family raised three daughters - Alexandra, Nina and Tatyana. The last time the girls saw their father was at Zima station. What his future fate was is unknown.

In her youth, Alexandra Nikolaevna got married, but the marriage broke up. Her mother went through life next to her. Stalin's repressions did not affect the family. When they lived in Sokolniki, Alexandra Nikolaevna, being a young singer, lost her voice. Mom selected exercises to restore her voice. Alexandra Severovna used the same techniques to treat asthma. Over time, mother and daughter will create a set of breathing exercises, which will be called paradoxical gymnastics. At first, these exercises are popular only among artists: if you breathe for a few minutes before performing, you feel more confident on stage. Voice training lessons were taken by Armen Dzhigarkhanyan, Lyudmila Kasatkina, Margarita Terekhova, Andrei Mironov, Larisa Golubkina, Tatyana Vasilyeva and others.

At the age of 40, Alexandra Nikolaevna was overtaken by a severe attack of chest pain, and gymnastics helped her again. Then it became clear that breathing exercises can improve your voice and improve your health. Like any pioneer, Strelnikova had a difficult and joyful path. Official medicine accused him of unprofessionalism, and the sick lined up at the door of a small apartment. With the help of breathing exercises they coped with asthma attacks and other ailments. In 1972, a patent for the invention was received. Its name is “Method of treating diseases associated with loss of voice.” - does not reflect the completeness of the method. Recognition from official medicine never followed.

By the age of 77, Strelnikova remained young and did not know the diseases inherent in old age. I swam before the cold weather, I was slim and active. A tragic incident cut her life short: in September 1989 she died on the road under the wheels of a reckless motorcycle.

What has been achieved is preserved by Mikhail Nikolaevich Shchetinin, to whom the healer bequeathed her life’s work. A physician by training, he worked with Alexandra Nikolaevna for 12 years. Then he wrote the book “Strelnikova’s Breathing Gymnastics,” which was published as a supplement to the magazine “Physical Culture and Sports” in 2000. It contains sets of exercises for diseases of the respiratory tract, spine, and cardiovascular diseases. Breathing exercises help with nervous and skin ailments, excess weight and smoking, stuttering and sexual disorders.

Music

Alexandra did not work in the Voronezh choir for long - she planted cords. I had to return to work in kindergarten. In 1959, having regained her voice, Strelchenko entered the Lipetsk Philharmonic and went with concerts to collective and state farms in the Black Earth Region.

In 1963, the singer trained at the Moscow pop art workshop with Irma Yaunzem. In 1964, Strelchenko visited her childhood idol, Lydia Ruslanova. The famous performer “Valenok” blessed Alexandra with a singing career.

Not all queens of Russian song treated the young soloist as favorably as Ruslanova. Lyudmila Zykina and Olga Voronets perceived Strelchenko as a competitor and urgently asked her not to perform compositions from their repertoire, in particular, “Give me a scarf” and “Kalinka”. And the singer fulfilled the requests of her colleagues. At the end of Zykina’s life, Alexandra Ilyinichna, having forgotten old grievances, sang “Give me a scarf” together with Lyudmila Georgievna on Andrei Malakhov’s program.

Strelchenko’s discography is not very extensive, but thanks to her clear voice, such songs as “Ayushka” and “The bird cherry blossomed, blossomed”, “Oh, you laziness” and “Merry quadrille” became popular. In the film “War and Peace” by Sergei Bondarchuk, Natasha Rostova wiped the perspiration from Andrei Bolkonsky’s forehead to the voice-over singing of Alexandra Ilyinichna.

Invention of gymnastics

Mom took great care of Sasha, as her health deteriorated sharply and her chronic heart disease progressed, which was accompanied by attacks of suffocation. Through trial and error, women created a unique technique for restoring voice and breathing, which became universally popular under the name “Strelnikova gymnastics.”

The training gave remarkable results - the lost voice was restored, heart and asthmatic attacks passed, and the general condition improved qualitatively. This was an extraordinary contribution to people's health.

Alexandra Strelnikova received a patent for her method of restoring voice loss in 1973. Registration of the right took place at the All-Union Research Institute of Patent Examination.

Thanks to her attitude in life and tireless training, Alexandra Strelnikova was in excellent physical shape. A terrible accident tragically ended the life of a talented man in 1989.

Death

In the last years of her life, Alexandra Ilyinichna suffered from a bunch of illnesses. High blood pressure was compounded by the consequences of a spinal injury received in an accident in the mid-90s. The artist was in pain, the woman had difficulty moving around the apartment and looked with surprise at her photos, in which she was perky and young.

Third exercise “Pump”

“Pump” also do 8 breaths 12 times, after each eight breaths rest for 3-5 seconds.

This is enough for the first day. You will succeed: “Palms” – 96 (8 breaths-movements 12 times); “Riders” – 96 (8 breaths-movements 12 times); “Pump” – 96 (8 breaths-movements 12 times). On each subsequent day, add one new exercise. These exercises should be done twice a day: morning and evening.

On the second day, add the “Cat” exercise to the previous three exercises. This exercise should be done in the same way as the previous exercises, 8 breaths 12 times, resting after each figure of eight for 3-5 seconds. Now you have mastered four exercises and do them twice a day: morning and evening.

Every day you add one more exercise. You need to count to eight, otherwise you will lose track. One of the patients suggested spreading every 8 breaths and movements to every corner in the apartment. We took 8 breaths and movements, look at one corner. We took the next 8 breaths and movements, look at the second corner and so on. Next up are the following exercises:
