In the morning there is a big celebration in the Church of the Ascension of the Lord. After the service, I took a blessing from Archpriest Alexey Kruglik. He, along with his mother and other parishioners, said that he would pray that everything would go well.
We conducted the concert together with the cult organizer of Fili Park Nikolai Topnikov from 14.00 to 19.00. It was a joy to dedicate this day to Saints Peter and Fevronia. First they told us a little about their lives. Questions were asked between musical numbers. Among the spectators there were a lot of children with their mothers, fathers, grandparents. The kids surrounded the stage and put their hands on it. Mothers sometimes ran onto the stage to pull their children out. Adults answered questions and received gifts.
Some of the spectators left, couples came after work, and grandmothers stayed until the end. And the presenters again returned to the theme of the holiday - the life of Saints Peter and Fevronia. Viewers were asked questions: Why are Peter and Fevronia the patrons of the family? How are these saints who lived in the 13th century close to us? How did Fevronia’s wisdom manifest itself? Is modesty attractive?
It was warm and sunny, but suddenly it started to rain. Everyone crowded under a large tent opposite the stage. Old trees surrounded our site on all sides, creating the best scenery. I remembered the Murom forests that still surround the city where the saints lived.
A river (Moscow) flows in the Fili park, so the audience and I almost saw Peter and Fevronia crossing by boat to the other side (an incident described in their lives). A man who was also in the boat looked at Fevronia. Do you think she liked it? Wise Fevronia told him: “Scoop up water from this side of the boat and from the other. Another interesting work of mine was in the film “If you are not with me,” where I starred with the legendary Ekaterina Zhemchuzhnaya, People’s Artist of Russia from the Gypsy Theater “Romen”. She played the main role in the film "New Year's Marriage", also in the film "Lermontov", etc.

For several years, with the archpriest of our Small Ascension church, Alexei Davydenko, I broadcast live programs on People's Radio dedicated to important events in social and cultural life. The program was called “Another World”. Topics: “The Doctor and the Shackles” about Dr. Haase; “Sky, plane, father...”; “Insulin and the procession” about a trip to the Urals; about the foreign church abroad and many others.
With the blessing of the acting The rector of our church, Archpriest Alexey Kruglik, I organized and held a number of concerts in Fili Park for memorable dates. She was also the host of a concert dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the enthronement of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill, in the hall of Church Councils of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.
