He was born in 1946 (December 10) in the city of Vyazniki, in the Vladimir region. His mother was Russian, and his father was a purebred gypsy. The biography of Yuri Tsurilo began in a small town in the Vladimir region. The parents of the future artist did not live together for long: the father was sent to prison, and the mother decided to start her life again, so she gave the child to be raised by his grandmother, who became his dearest and closest person.
