Ruslan Sasin made his screen debut in 2005. His colorful Vadim Tslav from the series “Soldiers” immediately attracted the attention of the audience and fell in love with them, since many comical situations were built around this naive and awkward character.
Appearing in the fifth season of the series, Tslav successfully served his allotted two years, after which he was demobilized. However, the creators of the series, apparently paying attention to the actor’s popularity among viewers, soon brought the hero Ruslan back. According to the plot, Tslav, getting rid of excessive maternal love and the “pen-pal” girl Marianna, who did not live up to his hopes, returns to his unit and becomes a chip maker (a salesman in a cafe at a military unit, which in army jargon is called “Chipok”), and later begins to develop his business cafe in the officers' dormitory. Funny situations continue...
In addition to the series “Soldiers,” viewers could see the actor in the small role of Kolyan in the films “Nobody Knows About Sex” and “Nobody Knows About Sex 2.”
Pushkin
In the opening credits of the film, he was introduced almost epically: “Characters. Pushkin - student of the 1st Moscow Model School Valentin Litovsky..."
Valentin was born in Moscow in 1921. He studied at a model school, not very exemplary, but in humanitarian subjects he was among the first students. Filming continued throughout almost the entire 1936, and to ensure that the young actors did not fall behind the school curriculum, Leningrad teachers taught them. While the film was being developed (and the film often failed and had to be re-shot), the guys were sent to rest in a sanatorium.
The all-Union fame that fell on the leading actor could not help but turn his head. He gained many fans, and Valya turned out to be Pushkin-like in love.
At the same time, he remained a good comrade. Friends, as you know, are known in trouble. In 1937, trouble came to many families. The writer Lydia Libedinskaya, who studied at the same school with Valya, recalled how at one of the Komsomol meetings he fearlessly stood up for the son of a repressed “enemy of the people.”
In 1939, Valentin graduated from school and was planning to enter a literary institute, but was drafted into the army. In 1940-1941 he served in the Far East, in Ussuriysk, then his unit was transferred to the western border.
On June 22, 1941, mother Elizaveta Moiseevna Litovskaya was supposed to go on a date with her son in Minsk, but did not have time. Letters from Valentin stopped arriving on July 17, 1941. Valentin's parents have repeatedly filed applications to search for their son. In May 1948, they received a response from the Sverdlovsk RVC in Moscow: “Lithuanian Valentin Osafovich has been considered missing since October 1941.”

Ruslan graduated from university in 2003 and immediately received an invitation to the Cool Theater. This institution was created in 1999 for the youngest spectators - preschoolers and schoolchildren. During the 2 years of work at the Cool Theater, Ruslan performed in almost all repertoire performances.
Sasin embodied the images of book characters beloved by children: Goodwin in “The Wizard of the Emerald City”, Dunno in “Dunno and the Donut”, Blind Drink in “Treasure Island” and many others. Ruslan also played classical characters in productions for teenagers: Dobchinsky in The Government Inspector, Repetilov in Dead Souls, Sayapin in Dreams of a Dead Man.

In the 5th season, the writers introduced a new character played by Ruslan Sasin. His hero Vadim Tslav is a new private arriving at a military unit. The former “mama’s boy,” a shy and moderately well-fed guy, brought with him a huge backpack with provisions, because he loves to eat delicious food and is ready for any desperate actions for this. Because of his passion for delicacies and cooking, Tslav is sent to work in the canteen of a military unit.
The cunning, lazy, but good-natured and charming private, constantly finding himself in comical situations, became the star of the season, and the producers decided to keep him on the show. So Vadim Tslav lived an exciting army life.

After a not-so-sweet existence in the status of a private, Tslav becomes a “grandfather” and feels much more at ease, so much so that after demobilization he does not aspire to become a civilian, but opens his own cafe in the officer’s dormitory. Ruslan Sasin plays in the project until the very final in 2013. But even before this time, thanks to his colorful character, he becomes a rising TV star, gains a lot of fans and receives new creative proposals.
So, in 2006, he played in a short episode of the youth comedy “Nobody Knows About Sex,” portraying an unlucky guy named Kolyan. In 2007–2008, Sasin appeared in the 3rd season of the TV series “Balzac's Age, or All Men Are Their Own...” and in the film “Heartbreakers.”

And since 2011, a new long-term project has entered his life - the crime series “Trace”. Here Sasin embodied an image diametrically opposed to Tslav. His hero is programmer Andrei Kholodov, the highest professional in his field, serious and responsible. Popular actors Anastasia Gulimova, Evgeny Kulakov, Olga Koposova and others became his partners on the set.
“Despite the fact that my hero is from a family of hereditary officers and the son-in-law of a general of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Andrei is not a spoiled major. He is a charming, sociable guy who loves to dress fashionably. I inherited their best qualities from my parents - determination, desire for new knowledge, ability to work,” says actor Ruslan Sasin.
Kholodov’s activities are an important part of the work of the entire forensic department. Not a single crime will be solved without its expert investigation. Just like in the series “Soldiers,” viewers watch the life of their favorite hero. Over many years of work, Kholodov managed to make a career, get married and become an exemplary family man. Andrei met his future wife at a ski resort, and the couple became the parents of a little daughter.

From 2011 to 2014, the artist was involved in the comedy series “Zaitsev +1”. In this project, Sasin played one of the Khomyakov brothers, spoiled “majors” who poison the life of the main character Sasha Zaitsev.
In 2020, the actor gained experience in the genre of musical comedy by taking part in the filming of the project “Dancing on Heights” directed by Amet Magometov.
A little about the series
“Soldiers” is a comedy series that tells about the life of ordinary soldiers, as well as officers serving in a military unit in a small town. Conditions and life in the unit do not fully correspond to the realities of military service. Here, all events are presented with humor, have a good context, and good always triumphs over evil. The series is filled with comic situations and sparkling jokes that remain in the memory for a long time. Despite the fact that many actors were involved in the series throughout its existence, each of the characters had their own individuality and was not like anyone else. But over 17 seasons, 8 demobilization squads were transferred to the reserve.
Now I would like to dwell in more detail on the 14th season and the negative character of “Soldier” Sergeant Kobrin, with whom all the episodes look like a breeze.
Personal life
Starring in long-term projects is not an easy task, you literally have to live on the set, and there is no time left for your personal life. The actor admits that due to chronic fatigue, he only dreams of getting plenty of sleep.
And this despite the fact that he is an inquisitive person and open to everything new. He enjoys walks around his native Moscow, visiting theaters, museums, and exhibitions. Judging by his Instagram, Ruslan is by no means a homebody; his feed now and then contains photographs from night walks, gatherings in cafes, and country trips.

In 2020, the actor and his girlfriend went on vacation to Greece. By the way, the artist’s future wife will be incredibly lucky, because he not only does everything around the house, but also loves to cook, like a true gourmet. Despite the fatness of his characters, Sasin is not going to go on a diet; now, with a height of 170 cm, he weighs about 100 kg.
The beginning of the story
A sergeant with ideal characteristics named Yaroslav Kobrin is transferred to a military unit. Lieutenant Colonel Starokon appoints him to serve further in the valiant second company under Captain Kurenkov. The captain is somewhat suspicious of the newly arrived soldier, but does not have time to take a good look at him, as he is forced to go on a business trip. As he leaves, he asks the platoon commander to observe the new sergeant and find out whether he really is such an excellent soldier. The platoon commander checks the physical skills of Sergeant Kobrin and is completely satisfied: the soldier fulfilled all the standards perfectly.
Meeting and communicating with his grandfathers, Kobrin points out that it was his senior comrades who made him a man. He also says that the spirits feel too easy, which is wrong, they should be taut like an arrow and know their place. According to Sergeant Kobrin, hazing will definitely make a man out of every soldier, and not a rag. Some of the old-timers are trying to convince him, but the sergeant is not going to change his principles and is ready to restore order in the company, guided by them.
Already in episode 4, Sergeant Kobrin shows himself in all his glory and does not let the young people down, humiliating them in front of the entire second company and physically punishing them. His favorite pastime was checking the plywood of young fighters. Susloparov is categorically against such methods, which he directly and without fear declares to Sergeant Kobrin. As events progress, their conflict intensifies.
