Anton Sokolov is a famous Russian actor. He gained popularity after starring in such films as “Forget and Remember”, “Fighters”, “1812: Uhlan Ballad”, etc. It is noteworthy that the artist did not come to the acting profession right away, having tried other occupations: he worked as an engineer and specialist . Fans of the artist are interested not only in the details of his creative biography, but also in aspects of his private life: how Anton Sokolov’s personal life developed, whether he has children, a wife, etc.
Personal life of Anton Sokolov
Almost nothing is known about Anton Sokolov’s personal life. The actor is such a secretive person that he categorically refuses to communicate with representatives of the media on topics that to one degree or another relate to private life.
According to information from social networks, as well as from interviews with the artist, the public knows for certain that he is married. So, a girl named Alina became the wife of Anton Sokolov. It is also known that a child is growing up in the family - son Fedor, who turns 4 years old in 2020. The artist prefers to hide other moments from his personal life from the multi-million public.

“I am married to a wonderful and beautiful girl Alina. She and I had the most beautiful child in 2015. We decided to name our son Fedor. I try to spend all my free time from work at home, close to my family. I think fans don’t need to know any other details from my personal life. This is solely my business. It’s time for people to learn to understand their own relationships, and not interfere with others!” — Sokolov shared.
The artist once admitted that they talk about people like him “with a lot of head.” After all, Anton Sokolov is a very reasonable and reserved person. Before doing something, an artist will think 100 times. He is also a completely non-conflict person.
The family secrets of the historian-murderer Oleg Sokolov have been revealed: “Everyone was a monster”
Until now, little was known about Oleg Sokolov’s first marriage. They met his wife when Anastasia Viktorova was studying at school - she herself told French journalists about this on camera in the early 90s, and Sokolov was her teacher. The woman died presumably from cancer. From this marriage, Sokolov left a daughter.
— I met Oleg Sokolov when he was still single. Nastya Viktorova appeared in his life much later,” says Marina (name changed – Author ).
— According to rumors, Anastasia was a schoolgirl when an affair began between them?
— Sokolov was her teacher. But intimacy between them happened much later, after Nastya graduated from school. I say this with confidence, because while Anastasia was at school, Sokolov was interested in completely different ladies. But later they got together.
— When did you meet Nastya?
— When they got married, Sokolov introduced us.
- Did he love her?
“He loved me very much, he provided for me completely.”
-What was she like?
“Nastya was a meek girl. Sokolov did not choose anyone else. All his ladies were completely under his power. If a girl began to show character and grow up, he broke up with her and looked for the next one. He believed that wayward ladies did not fit into his worldview.
— Did Sokolov prefer only young girls?
- Yes, all his women were much younger. This is his principle. If a girl grew up, it seemed to him that she was losing her attractiveness - for him this is an important aspect... Sokolov is a person who was constantly in a state of love. He adored his women. Some to a greater extent, some to a lesser extent. But if he was seriously interested in someone, he tried to maintain the relationship for several years.

Anastasia Viktorova, first wife of Oleg Sokolov.
— How did your relationship with Anastasia develop?
“At first they lived well with Nastya. He idolized her. But this did not stop him from flirting with other ladies in her presence. Sokolov organized balls in his apartment on the Moika. I took part in them. I saw how he pestered other girls in front of his wife. We had a mutual friend - Jean-Louis Viaud, editor of the magazine "Tradisien". When the Frenchman noticed Sokolov’s attitude towards Nastya, he was outraged by Oleg’s duplicity, and he broke off all relations with him.

“I disdained to cut up a chicken, but I was able to dismember the corpse”
— Was Nastya worried about her husband’s infidelity?
- Certainly. I saw that she loved him. But the relationship finally began to deteriorate after she gave birth to a daughter. Shortly after the birth of the child, I learned that they had decided to divorce. I remember I came to Sokolov’s house and asked: “What happened?” And he said the same phrase that I heard from him at the trial addressed to the murdered girl, Nastya Eshchenko (Sokolov stated that as soon as the conversation turned to the need to spend time with his children from a previous marriage, Eshchenko allegedly “turned into a monster” and she almost rushed at him with a knife - “MK” ).
At that time, he explained to me the reason for the divorce from his first wife in exactly the same words: “She became a fury. It’s like she was replaced.” He was also angry that Viktorova offered to share the apartment.
— Did they live in the same apartment where the murder took place?
— Yes, Moika, 82.
— Where did Sokolov get this apartment from?
— A murky story is connected with this living space. Sokolov made it for himself with great difficulty and invested a lot of money in the apartment. Then he registered his daughter there, so Nastya suggested dividing the square meters. He did not give the apartment to his wife. He paid off with money.
— By that time he had a new woman?
- Already under Nastya, he invited Anna to his house, whom he later married. I remember we were visiting him, and we found Anna there. She looked much younger than Nastya. The new passion looked great, she was wearing a good suit. At some point, Nastya returned and brought her daughter from kindergarten. She silently looked at our company and went into the kitchen to prepare dinner.
— Was Sokolov always a wealthy man?
- He was never wealthy in the broad sense of the word. Talk about an assistant professor's big money is a myth.

Nastya Yeshchenko washed her wardrobe in this laundry room of the hostel.
— Is it also a myth about big connections and influential patrons?
- I doubt. Sokolov did not know how to build relationships with people, because he categorically did not accept the opinions of others. Many people didn't like him for this. Therefore, when people talk about his connections today, these are most likely his fantasies. For example, in the 90s I worked on his election campaign. He himself convinced everyone that the campaign was being financed by the Prince of Wales. There was no evidence of this. Apparently, Oleg decided to show off the eyes of those around him and came up with a story about the prince. People then worked for him absolutely free.
— What election campaign, did he run for deputy?
- Yes. But not to the local council, but higher up. He didn’t want to join the local one, he explained that he didn’t want to be a plumber. But his political activities did not work out, we got something wrong with the signatures, and his candidacy was not approved. But his main interest remained history. Everything else is a springboard to making money. He couldn't make money from history.
— And did you love money?
- Certainly. Oleg understood that the more money he had, the more beautiful and younger the woman next to him would be. And next to a beautiful lady his status in society will increase. He often changed ladies. He treated each new passion like a porcelain figurine. And he repeated that he needed a “chiseled girl” with whom he was not ashamed to go out into the world. He had a point about this. After all, Sokolov considered himself an esthete in everything.
— Not only in terms of women, I considered myself an esthete...
- Of course not. For example, he is a very literate person, and always made fun of other people's stupidity. He showed his erudition. I remember I came to his apartment, and his new wallpaper was painted like “Versailles” - bees were painted on it. From the doorway I said: “What kind of insects?” He started laughing at my illiteracy.
“Nevertheless, when Sokolov dismembered the corpse, he forgot about aesthetics.
- This surprised me. He couldn’t cut up a chicken because he was pathologically squeamish. One day we were walking along the embankment and a drunk accosted us. Sokolov could not fight with him, because he disdained to touch him. He pushed it away with three fingers and ran away. Then he pushed away again and ran away again. Afterwards, he carefully wiped these fingers on himself. And then he went and cut up the corpse.

“None of my friends knows how and when Nastya was buried”
— They say Sokolov drank heavily? For example, French reenactors spoke about this.
— At that time he was not an alcoholic. For him there was a culture of drinking. During his student years, Oleg got hold of a beautiful wine bottle somewhere. So I preferred to drink only from it. The guests were told that it was Burgundy. He threw beautiful holidays at home, drank only red wine and always stayed on his feet. At the end of the event, he saw off all the guests and put them in a taxi. He was a tyrant, but not a monster.
- From his biography it became known that he pulled out teeth from a horse, but you say he was not a monster.
- Alexander Nevzorov calls him cruel because he pulled out the teeth of a horse. But Sokolov did not do this because he was cruel; he preferred historical accuracy in reconstructions. Therefore, horses had to be sacrificed. During the reconstruction, the naturalness of everything that happened was important to him. Historical truth is more important. For example, he could put a tent where people lived in a flooded place because historically it stood there. The fact that people could catch a cold did not bother him. And he really loved horses. In St. Petersburg he had his own horse, he often came to the stable to ride.

Anastasia Viktorova and Oleg Sokolov at home in St. Petersburg.
- Let's get back to talking about Anastasia Viktorova. Did the initiative to get a divorce come from her?
“Nastya experienced all her husband’s infidelities, but when I asked her about the reason for the divorce, she replied that Oleg did not care about the child, he did not devote any time to his daughter. This is what bothered her. After the birth of her child, Anastasia had no doubt that her husband would change. But the miracle did not happen. Sokolov turned out to be unsuited to family life. He lived by his historical works and window dressing.
We talked to him about this topic. He answered: “As you can imagine, I have a bust of Napoleon at home, everything is solid, guests come to me, and I have children running around in diapers.” Everyday life undermined his image.
- Did they end up getting divorced?
“They haven’t officially divorced yet, but Sokolov started living with Anna. And then his house changed. If under Nastya there was a feeling of family comfort, the apartment was clean and smelled of pies. With the second wife, there was a mustiness and smell of dumplings.

Sokolov's second wife, Anna.
— At the trial, Sokolov voiced the reason for the murder: they say, the fault was that his current girlfriend did not approve of his reverent attitude towards children.
“I don’t know how his relationship with today’s children is. But I remember well how he treated his daughter from his first marriage. The girl came into the room, he patted her on the head: “Bonjour, mademoiselle.” That's all. For him, children are not baby diapers, they are smart little ladies-in-waiting who can be patted on the head.
— How did Anastasia’s life turn out after the divorce?
- Nastya was afraid of breaking up with Sokolov - she had no work, no money either. After the divorce, we met with her and started talking. She said that life had improved, she had found a job, and had not disappeared. But she never got married again.
- How did you find out about her death?
- Strange story. Around 2004, mutual friends said that she had died of brain cancer.
- Why strange? This, unfortunately, is an increasingly common diagnosis...
- Nastya never complained, never got sick. She was a stout girl, rosy-cheeked, with a body, unlike Sokolov's other ladies. And suddenly a message - Nastya died. None of our mutual friends know where she was buried. Nobody attended the funeral.
— Sokolov’s daughter from his first marriage lives in France?
— My daughter lived with Nastya’s parents for a while, she was 3-4 years old at the time. I don’t know where now.
— Did Sokolov ever think about his first wife?
“The last time he said about her was: “She became an evil fury, I raised a monster.” We did not return to this topic again.
“Take the child away, he’s in the way”
— Have you analyzed the situation with the murder of Anastasia Yeshchenko? Do you think he loved her?
“He sincerely loved those whom he allowed into his home. Most likely, when Nastya Yeshchenko decided to leave him, he was afraid that he would lose his status. He did not understand that in the eyes of others he had long looked funny - an elderly man with a young girl. He thought that he was so good, that’s why he had young and beautiful people next to him. Most likely, that girl also loved him at one time. They were united by a passion for history. But when the scales fell from her eyes, the feeling passed.
- He says that he killed in a state of passion. Do you believe him?
— Sokolov is a wonderful actor, he even played in the French theater on the Moika.
“None of his friends came to support him at the trial. Why?
— Oleg had loyal fans, but no friends. He knew how to subjugate people. I remember how he begged me to urgently sew him a French flag, almost cried: “Save me, I beg you.” I ran all over St. Petersburg, looked for fabric and sewed all night. And he didn't need friends. He needs fans who support him and are passionate about his ideas.
— Did your first wife share his historical interests?
“A girl who didn’t share his interests couldn’t be with him.” He could not change his hobby for the sake of great love.
— So, Nastya Viktorova took part in the reconstructions?
“She took part in balls in their apartment. But she played the role of serving staff, constantly disappearing into the kitchen, cooking for guests. Sokolov sometimes asked me to come and help Nastya cut salads because she was tired. When the child appeared, Anastasia lost interest in balls. Sokolov began to reproach: they say, guests will come to me, remove the child, he is in the way.
— Does Sokolov have a large apartment? How could he hide the corpse from the guests who came to him after the murder of Yeshchenko in such a way that they would not notice anything?
— Three-room apartment. You walk in and to the right is the room where he received guests. There's another room on the left. You walk further along the corridor - the third small room is near the kitchen. He could have hidden the body in that back room; no one went there. Although Sokolov could have hidden the body anywhere. He is not the kind of person you come to visit and start running around the entire apartment. You will only wear the slippers that he indicates, hang your jacket only where he indicates. Sit on the chair he gives you. He won’t allow him to jump merrily around his apartment. All events in his house took place strictly according to his rules.
— Is he a generous person?
- Generous. Parted with money easily. And when I started relationships with women, I invested in them to the fullest. In a month he could fashion a doll out of a plain-looking student with a snub nose, dress her up, teach her to hold her back and walk beautifully. He invested his soul and money into his ladies, taking them abroad.
“I didn’t forget myself either.” They say he dressed well?
— I went a little overboard with the outfits. He looked like a fool in bright jackets and multi-colored ties. Rejuvenated.
He had manic-depressive psychosis. I noticed this when he was still 20 years old. He and I went to the Hermitage. He turned out to have an expired student ID. They didn't let him in for free. He became hysterical. He began kicking the columns and walls of the museum and shouting: “I cannot live in a country where cleaners rule and scientists are not respected.” He often made such tricks.
— Could you hit a person?
“I could, but I tried to do it with the wrong hands.” Not out of cowardice, I just thought that waving fists was the job of servants.
“At the trial, as he was being restrained after the murder of Yeshchenko, he cried and howled. Acting?
“What we observed at the trial is his characteristic manner. Oleg Sokolov is, at his core, a little cowardly, hysterical girl. In ordinary life, when he was simply offended or something did not go according to his will, he also cried and became hysterical.
Now he's panicking. Afraid of prison. He doesn’t worry about the deceased, he again thinks about himself, about the future. And he realizes that his old life has come to an end.

Fans of the artist can be 100% sure that the artist is happy in his relationship. Anton Sokolov loves his wife very much, and she, in turn, reciprocates his feelings.
“Alina and I love each other. I'm even afraid to imagine how my life would have turned out if I had not met her. She is not only my wife and the mother of my son, but also a friend, boss, adviser, etc. Thank her very much!” - Anton does not hide from the public.
It should be noted that the artist does not maintain accounts on social networks, so it is impossible to find photos in which he would be captured with his wife and child. At the same time, photographs sometimes appear on the Internet where the artist is taken during creative processes, for example, filming a movie.
Debut in the world of cinema
While a student, the guy gained fame thanks to his performance in the film “Uhlan Ballad,” which is an alternative version of the film “The Three Musketeers.” Anton's character was Alexey Tarusov - an alternative to d'Artagnan. For the role, the actor had to learn horse riding and fencing. However, the most difficult moment for the actor was the moment associated with the loving gaze.
After a while, the guy played the main role in the short film “The Book of Desires,” which deals with the wishes of children. An equally famous film in which Anton Sokolov appeared is a film called “Fighters,” in which the actor starred with Dyuzhev and Volkova. During filming, Sokolov personally tried to take the helm of the airliner, because he played the pilot Boris, who arrived at school with a friend. The hero learns that he has been enlisted in an aviation regiment, which will soon go to the battlefield. Actor Anton Sokolov also played roles in such films as “Bomb”, “Hugging the Sky” and “Smiley”. In the family film “Forget and Remember,” Anton played together with Kobzar (Ukrainian actor) and Vasilyeva.
