As a child, Natasha attended a ballerina school, sang in the choir, and took part in performances at the Gaz Palace of Culture, but never thought about becoming an actress. She studied at the school for future entrepreneurs and was expected to follow in her mother’s footsteps - work with numbers and money. But fate had other plans, or rather her Aunt Koki, whom she so affectionately called.
One day, in the midst of entering college, they walked together through the city center. Walking past the theater school, near which dozens of girls and boys were crowding, my aunt said: “Look how many applicants there are. Is it too weak for you to do the same?” Natasha was perplexed, saying: “Where am I, and where is the actress?” But her aunt continued to turn her on, and she decided to try it, so to speak, as a bet.
“I come in and the commission is sitting. They ask what my name is. I say my name. And they told me: “How, how? We didn’t hear!” I repeat: “Natalia Boch-ka-re-va. Barrel and roar rolled into one.” They looked at each other, like, wow, she’s impudent,” says Natalya.
She was completely unprepared: she didn’t study fables, poems, excerpts from classical works all night long, but she successfully passed both rounds and entered the Nizhny Novgorod Theater School. This is how an ordinary dispute determined her future fate. Of course, the parents were taken aback when they learned about their daughter’s decision:
“Dad was shocked, he said that an actress is a public profession. Mom said that this is a complete lack of money. In all my four years of study, they never came to my performance. At first I wanted to prove to them, and then I proved to myself that this profession is important to me, that this is not just some whim of mine,” admits Natalya Bochkareva.
After graduating from college, she performed on the stage of a local theater and already received her first audience love. Even during her studies, Natasha, together with other fellow students, used her last money to buy a ticket and go to Moscow to learn professionalism from great actors.
One day she attended the play “The Deadly Shot,” staged by Vladimir Mashkov, and realized that she wanted to work in Tabakerka, she wanted Oleg Pavlovich Tabakov himself to become her mentor. A funny incident happened to Natasha: on another such visit to Moscow, she ran to a performance, but the theater controller refused to let her in, then she said with tears in her eyes that she would soon play here and he would see her again. And so it happened, a few years later Natalya met that man and wiped his nose, declaring that she, as promised, was now performing on the stage of the Moscow Art Theater.

Only then did her father realize how dear his mother was to him, that she was his only love. He continued to live in the world that his mother created, and could not bear the changes and life without her. To be close, he even got a job at the cemetery where his beloved wife was buried.

Bochkareva’s mother worked at the GAZ plant. Natalya has a younger sister, Nadezhda Bochkareva[3]. The age difference between them is six years.

She studied at school No. 129 in the city of Gorky.
In 2000, Natalya graduated from the Nizhny Novgorod Theater School (workshop of R. Levite), and in 2002 from the Moscow Art Theater School (workshop of O. Tabakov), after which she was immediately accepted into the Moscow Art Theater troupe.
She made her film debut in 1999, playing a small role in the film “Chinese Service”.
She became famous with the role of Dasha Bukina from the television series “Happy Together”, in which she starred from 2006 to 2013. Participated in filming in the film magazine “Yeralash”.

But on one of her trips, Bochkareva met a serious lawyer Nikolai Borisov on the train. A romance broke out. For the sake of the bright young actress, Borisov divorced his wife, but was in no hurry to formalize a new relationship. The wedding took place only after the birth of their son Ivan. A year later, Natalya gave birth to a daughter, Masha, and all this without interruption from filming the series. She got into the sitcom “Happy Together” by accident. In 2020, having said goodbye to the image of Dasha Bukina, Natalya Bochkareva tried herself as a director. Natalya not only played a happy mother and wife on screen, but also in life. She met her future husband on the way from Nizhny Novgorod to Moscow. It had just been 40 days since my mother’s death; she was traveling on the train and wanted to have tea in a restaurant. But she unexpectedly came across tipsy guys who scared her greatly. Natasha felt that she was completely alone, that there was no one to protect her.
In a restaurant, a man approached her, in whom she saw a savior and protector: he behaved nobly and protected the actress from drunken guys.
“He and I talked all night. He said that a glassblower is someone who blows all sorts of things out of glass. I then thought: “Wow, I met a glassblower.” I didn't even know such a profession existed. And I told him that I was an actress, he didn’t believe me either and decided to check, saying that since I’m an actress, we’ll meet near my theater. The next day I’m standing and waiting for him, a big car pulls up. It turned out that he was not a glassblower at all, but a lawyer,” says the actress.
By the way, she later found out that those pestering men were his friends: one of them was his driver, and the other was the brother of his ex-wife. They saw a beautiful girl and told Nikolai, and he, in turn, was the first to go on reconnaissance and met her.
“At that moment Nikolai was for me a very confident person, so authoritative. And I now understand that at that time, having lost my parents, I was just looking for a shoulder, a teacher, a father,” recalls Natalya.
Natasha and Nikolai lived together for seven years. On screen she played a mother, but in life she could only dream of a child. Doctors gave her a terrible diagnosis - infertility. But strong Natalya did not give up and was treated for five years, but it was all in vain. It got to the point that she couldn’t even calmly watch advertisements for diapers with babies. This is how she lived: with cats and dogs, with her head in work, but faith and prayers saved her. And now, in the midst of the next new season of “Happy Together,” she finds out that she is expecting a child.
