Biography of Igor Talkov (youth, personal life, murder mystery)

The story of how the parents met

In July 1979, Igor Vladimirovich Talkov went to the Moscow cafe “Metelitsa”. Usually the black marketeers gathered there. The singer went into a cafe with a friend to just relax. He was dressed very stylishly - ripped jeans and a long coat. Igor was then the lead singer of the April group, played jazz-rock style, and wore a beard.

The singer and his friend noticed a group of girls sitting at the next table. Talkov especially liked the petite brunette with almond eyes. It was Tatiana. He asked the girl to dance. Tanya refused. But Igor managed to persuade her. At the end of the evening they exchanged phone numbers.

Talkov called the girl he liked every day. Who was Tanya then? The 19-year-old beauty sewed clothes professionally. She grew up without a father, so she was wary of the male sex.

At that time, Igor lived in Moscow, spending the night with one friend, then with another. Six months after they met, Tanya approached her mother and confronted her with a fact: “Igor will live with us.” The parent did not dissuade her daughter from this step. She placed an old couch in Tanya's room.

Childhood

The marriage of Tatiana and Igor lasted 11 years. In the last 2-3 years they lived like brother and sister. The singer had other women whom he met on tour. The spouses did not file for divorce and did not leave only because of their son. Igor Vladimirovich doted on him. He had high hopes for the heir.

Talkov controlled his son’s progress. He punished the boy for bad grades and praised him for “B’s” and “A’s” in his diary.

One day, the singer saw in Igor’s textbook “Native Word” an image of A. Nevsky as a fighter for communist values and ideals. Then the famous performer forbade his son to attend school. Talkov Sr. decided that his son should receive a home education. Teachers and tutors came to their apartment. Our hero was bored without his classmates. And he didn’t particularly like being the only student who had to answer in every lesson. But the father's word is law.

Igor Vladimirovich wanted his heir to become not a singer, but an athlete. Therefore, Talkov’s son attended the taekwondo section for a long time.

Tragedy

October 6, 1991 - our hero will never forget this date. After all, then he lost his dear and beloved person - his father, who was an example and support for him. Igor at that time was only 9 years old. However, the boy clearly understood what death meant. It is worth taking a closer look at the tragedy that occurred.

On this day, singer Talkov arrived in St. Petersburg for a group concert. He was supposed to go on stage after Aziza. But the performer conveyed to him a request to change places. Talkov called Aziza's director, Igor Malakhov, into the dressing room. A verbal altercation broke out between the men. The singer's guards took Malakhov out.

A few minutes later, administrator Valery Shlyafman ran into the same dressing room. He shouted that Aziza’s director was armed with a revolver. Talkov went out into the corridor and saw Malakhov holding his guards at gunpoint. A fight ensued. Shots rang out. And at that very moment Igor Talkov fell to the floor. The bullet hit him right in the heart. The singer had no chance to survive.

At first, Malakhov was accused of killing Talkov. But after a thorough examination, it became clear that Shlyafman fired the fatal shot for Igor. By that time, the administrator had already fled to Israel.

Death

There is a legend that Igor Talkov predicted his death. One day he was flying on a plane that had an emergency. The passengers began to get excited, and then the musician said: “There is no need to be afraid, since I am here, the plane will not crash. They will kill me in front of a large crowd of people, and the killer will never be found.” By the way, after this incident Talkov wrote the famous hit “I’ll be back.”

On October 5, 1991, Igor was playing an acoustic guitar at a creative evening, and suddenly his string broke. This is how significant Talkov’s last public performance was. According to his wife, the day before the singer received a phone call and was seriously threatened, but he did not tell his wife who exactly.

And already on October 6, 1991, in the St. Petersburg Yubileiny Sports Palace, Igor Talkov was supposed to take part in a group concert with many other performers. But out of the blue, a conflict arose between him and Igor Malakhov, the director of the singer Aziza. The men quarreled, the administrator of his “Lifebuoy” group, Valery Shlyafman, intervened, and a brawl broke out, which escalated into a shootout.

Several shots were fired, and one of the bullets hit Talkov in the heart. Doctors who arrived by ambulance confirmed the artist’s death. The singer was buried on October 9, 1991 in Moscow at the Vagankovskoye cemetery. The police tried to investigate the murder, but the investigation established that Igor Malakhov could not have fired that fatal shot. And Valery Shlyafman, by the time questions arose to him, had already left Russia, settling in Israel, and then disappearing from there. As a result, the murder investigation turned out to be frozen, and there are quite a few versions of the events that took place.

Musician

Until the age of 15, Igor Igorevich Talkov (junior) did not even think about a singing career. And then one day he came across an old synthesizer that belonged to his father. The teenager tried to master this instrument on his own. But in the end he signed up for special courses.

After graduating from school, the guy easily entered the Institute of Contemporary Art. But I studied there for only 2 months. Igor took the documents himself. Later, Talkov Jr. became a student at the Moscow State University of Culture and Art. The son of the famous singer did not graduate from this university either.

In 2001, his first performance took place in front of the public. Igor took part in a concert organized at the Kremlin Palace in memory of Talkov Sr. The guy performed the song “I'll be back.” The people in the hall got goosebumps all over their bodies. After all, their idol stood in front of them, only a young one. The same pleasant voice, the same attractive appearance. The audience stood and escorted Igor backstage. They applauded for a long time and shouted: “Bravo!”

In 2005, our hero released his first solo album, “We Must Live.” He worked on the creation of the record together with producer Vasily Kozlov. A year later, the second album “Chistye Prudy” appeared on sale. Igor Igorevich covered his father’s famous compositions, and also recorded songs based on his unpublished or little-known poems. This time, the group “Golden Age” and “Slide”, “performer Pascal and other famous personalities” helped the guy in preparing the musical material.

Since 2009, Igor has had a tradition. What is it about? Every year, on the day of his father’s murder (October 6), he gives a concert in his memory on the steps of the Yubileiny Sports Palace (St. Petersburg). But for the first time, our hero did not have time to obtain permission to hold such an event. But the concert did not cancel. We can say that Igor carried it out illegally.

Personal life

There was only one great love in the musician’s life. In July 1979, in the Metelitsa cafe, Igor Talkov met a girl named Tatyana. At that time, the man was playing guitar in the ensemble of the program “Come on, girls” and invited his new girlfriend to participate in the crowd.

Then the young people began dating, and in 1980 they officially got married. A year later, a son, Igor Talkov Jr., appeared in the family, who literally became the meaning of life for his father. It is interesting that Talkov’s son categorically did not want to study music as a child, but gradually genetics had its weighty say. At the age of 14, the boy found an old synthesizer and mastered it himself. And in 2005 he released the solo album “We Must Live.”

After his death, Igor Talkov’s wife studied to become a psychologist, but dropped out of the institute. Now the woman works as an assistant director in cinema and collaborates with famous domestic film authors, including Stanislav Govorukhin. She helped directors shoot such films as “Vise”, “Hipsters”, “Inhabited Island: Brawl”.

Cultist or not?

Talkov's son is a young man with his own characteristics and oddities. There are a lot of rumors around his person. Some people are sure that he is a sectarian. Is it true? Now you know about it.

Several years ago, Igor Igorevich Talkov organized the philosophical movement “MirImir” with the goal of uniting people who want to develop superpowers. He also created a group of the same name. The lyrics are religious. On many sites, “MirImir” is called a sect. However, this definition is completely unsuitable for the movement organized by Talkov Jr. After all, people can leave the association at any time; they are not required to make any financial investments.

Talkov's son loves piercings, dreadlocks and hard rock. He grows his hair long, which he sometimes wears in a ponytail at the back of his head. But the guy is not going to decorate his body with tattoos.

I want my father’s songs to live!

0 shared

— Igor, why did you suddenly decide to sing?

— Since childhood, I fell asleep to my father’s arrangements. He worked with the musicians at home, at any time of the day, despite the fact that I had to go to school in the morning.

Father was strict. Sometimes he punished. The worst punishment was when he put me in front of him and forced me to look him in the eye while answering questions. He had very strong energy. Sometimes he was cunning. When he went on tour, he left his photographs. They say that if I offend my mother, he will see everything. I believed. Since childhood, he taught me to play sports: we did push-ups together, did physical exercises, and punched a punching bag. Father always said that goodness must be done with fists! I am grateful to him for this. Later this often helped me in life.

When my father died, I was only nine years old. I was drawn to the street. I recognized her from the inside. But at fifteen I pulled myself out of there when I realized that I was drowning. I came home and took out my father’s keys. I started playing and... got carried away.

At eighteen I had money. I decided to spend it on a computer and music programs. This is the age when you fall in love, you suffer. So I started writing songs myself. I sang them first to acquaintances, then at evenings in memory of my father. Then there was a trip to Germany, where I spoke to emigrants. And so it went.

— Do you have a musical education?

— I studied a little at a music school. But I realized that if I want to hate music, I must definitely graduate from this institution. Then there was one day at the cultural institute. But there is such an anti-creative atmosphere there! Music is taught like mathematics. Mom wanted me to become an actor. My father also wanted to enter the acting department. But it didn’t work out, which he later regretted. I studied for two months at the acting department at the Moscow Art Theater branch and left. The documents are still there. Music turned out to be more important.

—You and your father have very similar voices. Were you confused with him?

— There were incidental situations. At first, on my posters they simply wrote Igor Talkov, without the prefix Junior. I thought that this was correct, because of the living people I am the only Igor Talkov. But one day after the concert, my grandmother came into the dressing room and began asking why I didn’t sing “Chistye Prudy,” where I disappeared for ten years, and why I shaved my beard? After that I became “junior”.

- Is everything really so cloudless? Did you just take your father’s keys and sing, and the audience and surroundings immediately accepted you?

— There are also plenty of unpleasant moments. Some demand that I stop singing, saying that nature rests on children. Others tell me not to touch my father’s songs, they say, I still won’t sing like him. And I don’t pretend to do so. I do it differently. I just want his songs to live.

Compared to a beggar, I am rich. But I take the subway

— Do you have your own group?

— There was a group, even a violinist performed at concerts. But these people wanted everything at once. They thought that if I was Igor Talkov, then I had a lot of money and everything else. That's why I'm alone on stage today. There are few altruists now.

— What about royalties from reissues of my father’s records and the use of his last name?

— Royalties from my father’s works are deducted. But not like in the West. Our system is imperfect. Compared to a beggar, I am rich, and compared to the really rich, I am a beggar. I don’t even have a car, I go by subway.

— Do your father’s acquaintances help you promote?

“Now it’s every man for himself, that’s the time.” Understanding these people, I do not hope for any support. In principle, I am even grateful to them. Everyone must achieve everything in this life on their own.

- And your last name?

“It helps that I already have a name.” But it interferes in the sense that the bar is initially too high. People immediately compare him to his father. It’s funny, me, a boy, with him, a thirty-five-year-old man, a lump.

The killer of Igor Talkov was never found

— Why are you so rarely played on radio stations?

- I don’t know what’s the matter. There are several printed publications, one television channel, where, as I was told, the Talkov surname will never appear. This also applies to me. The album is ready, but not a single record company has undertaken to release it. So I found sponsors myself. In our show business you either have a fly at the back or a million dollars! I have neither one nor the other.

— What kind of songs will be on your album?

— 60 percent are mine, and 40 percent are my father’s, but in a more modern processing. I make them in my own way, I even change the style. For example, “My Love” was done in reggae. At concerts, people receive these songs well.

— 12 years have passed since my father was shot at a concert in Leningrad. Have you finally found the killer?

“Everything is a dead weight.” The investigation was trying to hide as many facts as possible. Everything was bought. They tell me the amounts and the people who received them. But my mother and I still haven’t been allowed to read the file.

BY THE WAY

After the death of Vladimir Miguli, his youngest daughter Liana began to sing. She performed songs written to the music of her mother, Marina Miguli.

The son of singer Sandor, who died in a car accident, Janos, by the age of ten, began performing in the programs “Morning Star” and “50x50”, and sang along with pop stars at concerts at the Olimpiysky and Luzhniki.

Achievements

Talkov Igor Vladimirovich was an incredibly popular singer during his lifetime. And after his death, he was elevated to the rank of legendary Russian performers. The songs “Chistye Prudy” and “Summer Rain” became popular hits.

Talkov's son cannot boast of the same successes and a huge army of fans. However, he also has certain achievements in the musical field.

In 2005, our hero took part in the First Festival of the rock laboratory “RockDom”, held in Moscow. He performed the song “This World” in a modern arrangement. The professional jury appreciated the guy’s talent and creativity. As a result, Talkov Jr. was given second place.

Today, compositions performed by Igor can be heard on the largest Russian radio stations - “Chanson”, “Zvezda”, “Radio Russia” and others.

The beginning of Igor Talkov's career

Returning after the army, the guy actively began to promote his musical talent. At various times he played in such groups as “April”, “Kaleidoscope”, “Perpetual Movement”, and also helped other groups make arrangements.

Igor Talkov found his calling in music

However, more than anything else, he wanted to create his own team and glorify it throughout the Soviet Union. Until a certain point, nothing worked out for the guy, so he had to play in other groups.

Together with Irina Allegrova, Igor was a soloist in the Electroclub group. At that moment, he had only one hope that Tukhmanov would allow him to perform his compositions, but this never happened, so he soon left this group.

Igor Talkov's songs touch the soul

After a little time, the young man began working in “Leisure” in the Perovsky district, where everyone was finally able to hear his own songs. He was given a couple of hours in various programs, but this was enough for self-expression.

One of these performances became fateful for the young musician. The listeners really liked the sung song “Chistye Prudy” and brought Talkov the desired popularity. However, the singer did not rejoice for long, because from that moment he became associated only with lyrical music, and when he decided to return to his previous, sharp and straightforward style, many of the fans were not happy.

Igor Talkov - Chistye Prudy Finally, in 1987, Igor created the rock band “Lifebuoy,” which immediately became popular. The team toured throughout the country, giving people hope and faith in the future. By 1989, he had created more than 200 compositions. Most of the musician’s songs are written on civil topics, so in order for his music to be truthful, he visited the archive every day and studied the history of his state.

The musician gained even greater popularity after the premiere of the video clip for the song “Russia” during the show “Before and After Midnight”

Opinions

Many music observers observe the work of the successor of the famous family. They agree that Igor does not show the nonconformism and rebelliousness of his father. At the same time, they have a similar timbre of voice, intonation and sincerity.

To date, the guy has never dared to perform some of his dad’s compositions. He is sure that he will not sing as needed. This means that the young man inherited his father’s exactingness towards himself. And therefore he has every chance of becoming a noticeable phenomenon on the Russian stage.

Son of Igor Talkov: personal life

Our hero is an exact copy of his father. It's not just about external resemblance. They have the same gestures, facial expressions and manner of speaking. And Igor, like the famous dad, is an amorous person. He has no specific ideals of female beauty. He may like both a blonde and a brunette.

In the early 2000s, Igor Talkov Jr. met a charming girl named Anastasia (a professional artist). After a couple of months, the couple began to live under the same roof. They drew inspiration from each other. Soon, Igor and Nastya formalized their relationship. However, this marriage did not last long. In 2005, the couple divorced. They managed to remain on friendly terms. Anastasia retained the famous surname. Our hero was not against this.

Height, weight, age. Years of life of Igor Talkov

Both during the years of popularity and today, many want to know details about the singer, such as height, weight, age. The years of Igor Talkov's life were 1956-1991; at the time of his death he was 34 years old.

Igor Talkov was tall (182 cm) and had an athletic build; he loved to play sports and keep his body in shape. Despite this, many noticed that he looked older than his age.

Unfortunately, the talented and extraordinary Russian singer died tragically in the prime of his life and at the peak of his career. But his work will forever go down in the history of Russian music, and loyal fans still exist.

Family

For some time, Igor Igorevich Talkov was in bachelor status. He had affairs with young and beautiful girls. But his attitude to life changed after meeting Svetlana Zimina. Already on the second date, the guy realized that she was his soulmate. A few months later, the lovers got married in one of the St. Petersburg registry offices. The couple refused a lavish wedding. They had a festive dinner at a restaurant, inviting close friends and relatives.

It was with Sveta that Igor Talkov Jr. found a real family. In July 2011, the wife gave birth to their first child, a tiny daughter. The baby received a beautiful Russian name - Varvara. The young father surrounded her with attention and care. He himself swaddled his daughter, bathed her and put her to bed, humming lullabies.

In May 2013, another addition occurred to the Talkov family. The long-awaited son was born. Our hero named the heir Svyatoslav. By the way, singer Aziza became the baby’s godmother. Some friends and relatives condemned Igor for this choice. After all, it was Aziza who was accused by many of involvement in the death of Talkov Sr. But our hero never believed in it. He considers her a kind and decent woman.

Present tense

How old is Igor Talkov's son? He turned 35 in October. He considers himself an exemplary family man. The young man tries to spend as much time as possible with his wife and children. He lives with his family in St. Petersburg. Igor comes to Moscow exclusively for work.

Our hero continues to record songs, perform in clubs and in open city venues. He is often invited to participate in the filming of one or another television show. But the heir of Talkov Sr. is in no hurry to agree to all the proposals. He participates only in those programs that do not harm his reputation and do not desecrate his father's memory.

Songs

Igor Talkov began writing his first songs in his youth. His first composition was “I’m a little sorry,” and he considered his own creative debut the ballad “Share” about the fate of a person living in such a difficult world. The singer called this thing his first professional creation.

In the mid-80s, Talkov toured with Lyudmila Senchina's group and worked as an arranger at Stas Namin's studio. During that period, Igor wrote such songs as “Vicious Circle”, “Aeroflot”, “Looking for Beauty in Nature”, “Holiday”, “The Right is Given to Everyone”, “An Hour Before Dawn”, “Loyal Friend” and many others.

In 1986, Igor Talkov, paired with Irina Allegrova, became the vocalist of the pop-rock group Electroclub, created by David Tukhmanov. Quite quickly the group took a leading position in Soviet pop music. In 1987, the song “Chistye Prudy” performed by Igor Talkov was included in the mega-popular program “Song of the Year”, hosted by Angelina Vovk. At that moment, Igor turns into a very famous person.

But this lyrical hit was very different from the hits that Talkov usually wrote and wanted to convey to listeners. He is strongly drawn to social and civic issues, so the musician leaves the Electroclub and founds his own group, Lifebuoy. In 1989, in the TV show “Before and After Midnight,” a video clip for the song “Russia” was shown for the first time, and the singer from the category of famous ones turned into a legendary performer, listened to by tens of millions of citizens.

The peak of Talkov's popularity as a musician occurred in 1990-91. His songs “War”, “I’ll be back”, “CPSU”, “Gentlemen Democrats”, “Stop! I think to myself!”, “Globus” sound in every entrance. During the August putsch, Igor and the group “Lifebuoy” perform on Palace Square in Leningrad and immediately after that he writes the song “Mr. President,” in which he expresses disappointment with the policies of the first president of Russia.
