Kirill Zhandarov: filmography, biography and interesting facts

Kirill Zhandarov - biography

Kirill Zhandarov is young and attractive, so directors have always seen him as a hero-lover. But this young talented actor proved that he has enough acting skills to organically integrate into a complex dramatic image and break out of the established role of a womanizer. Now he plays sharp characters, often his characters are negative, but Zhandarov manages to make them more humane.

Fame came to Kirill Zhandarov after playing the main role in the TV series “The Milkmaid from Khatsapetovka,” although there are other interesting projects in his filmography. The films “The Windy Woman”, “Challenge”, “Provincial Girl” enjoyed undoubted success.

Childhood and youth

Kirill Zhandarov was born on March 29, 1983 in the city of Lomonosov, near St. Petersburg. In the same town, he spent his childhood, surrounded by his engineer parents, watch workers and his older brother Anton. My brother did not become a creative person, his life was devoted to technology, he worked as a system administrator at the Mayakovsky Library in St. Petersburg.

Since childhood, Kirill began to show creative abilities, which his parents did not like at all. They saw their son as a lawyer, so they wanted the boy to become a law student and acquire a serious profession. But Kirill himself thought completely differently - he liked the stage, so during his school years he participated in productions of the Globus school theater, where he received his first applause and tasted fame. In high school, Kirill became one of the most active players of the KVN team; thanks to this hobby, the guy experienced the delights of touring life and was no longer at all afraid to go on stage.

After receiving the certificate, Zhandarov decided to realize his lifelong dream - to become an actor. In 2000, he became a student at the St. Petersburg Academy of Theater Arts and entered the workshop of the famous actor Sergei Parshin.

Theater

Kirill studied willingly and easily, freely combining classes with participation in productions of the educational theater on Mokhovaya. During this period, he was involved in two performances - “A Midsummer Night's Dream” and “Truth is good, but happiness is better.”

Zhandarov received his diploma from St. Petersburg State Technical University in 2004, and immediately left for the capital. He joined the troupe of the Roman Viktyuk Theater, where he immediately received one of the difficult roles of Yeshua in the director’s production. Then there were more performances in which Kirill showed himself to be a master of disguise. The best works of that period were the productions “An Otherworldly Garden” and “Let’s Have Sex.”

But soon the actor realized that the director was in no hurry to expand his repertoire, and he might remain a minor actor. Kirill decided to get another higher education and soon he was awarded a diploma in which his specialty was restaurant business manager. He put it on the shelf and never used it.

In 2006, Zhandarov decided to go home to his native Northern capital. He entered the Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theater, where he played in numerous productions of the classical genre.

Movies

Cinematography entered the biography of Kirill Zhandarov in 2003, when director Dmitry Svetozarov invited him to his film “Three Colors of Love.” This film is about the unrequited feelings of one woman and three men. Zhandarov got a supporting role, but he was happy just because the famous actress Anna Samokhina was standing next to him on the set.

The actor became famous and beloved (especially among the female half of the audience) after filming in the film “The Milkmaid from Khatsapetovka,” directed by Ukrainian director Anna Gres. According to the plot, provincial Katya from God-forsaken Khatsapetovka comes to the capital in the hope of becoming a student at the food institute. But instead she marries the major Dima, whose role went to Zhandarov. Millions of viewers in Russia and Ukraine watched all the vicissitudes of their relationship and family life. After this picture, real fame and demand came to Kirill.

Actor Kirill Zhandarov: about his difficult character, about Luc Besson, about his desires

They say about actors like Kirill Zhandarov: “Young, talented, daring.” Bold, certainly in a positive way: the actor has his own point of view, does not follow public opinion and cannot tolerate non-professionals. But he is well versed in foreign and Soviet cinema, takes his profession seriously and believes that acting in theater and cinema should not be compared. Our special correspondent talked with Kirill about roles, about life, about eternal values.

From the author

I'm always interested in talking with smart people. And if this is an actor, then I would like there to be less, excuse me, “show-off”. Kirill Zhandarov certainly did not disappoint me: he was sincere, sociable and without a shadow of stardom. Although the actor has worked in the theater of R. Viktyuk, the Bolshoi Drama Theater named after. G.A. Tovstonogov, roles in memorable TV series such as “The Milkmaid from Khatsapetovka”, “A Short Course in a Happy Life”, “The Windy Woman”, “Beautiful Life”, “The Devil’s Font”, “What is Your Wife Doing?”...

— Kirill, you are not from a creative family. Usually parents are quite skeptical that their child is going to become an actor. But you chose this profession. Such a craving for art?

— I loved watching films since childhood. Well, I liked, for example, pictures with Kevin Costner and Harrison Ford. Cinema beckoned me. My parents, of course, were not delighted with my desire to become an actor, but I decided everything for myself. My wishes and the wishes of my parents differed.

- I understand that there is no point in arguing with you. Do you listen only to yourself?

“The point here is not to “listen to yourself,” but to have your own opinion. I realized that I wanted to become an actor. So why shouldn't I do it? And I also like it when people talk me out of it! Exactly! I was born in the city of Lomonosov, near St. Petersburg, and there was an opinion that no one from our city would ever enter the theater. Yes, they thought so! And my friends told me about this. And I thought and decided that I would definitely do it. Everything ended the way I wanted. I think that you need to set a goal, believe in it positively and then everything will work out. Usually, those who say that nothing will work out, then it’s clear that nothing worked out for them. You need to believe in your dream and goal.

— It turns out that you became an actor in spite of yourself?

— I became an actor because I wanted it. As for in spite of... Sometimes I do things, commit actions that are difficult for me to explain. I think this is contrary. When I entered the St. Petersburg Academy of Theater Arts, the teacher and actor Sergei Parshin was taking the course and he said that he would take me. Moreover, he repeated several times that I should not go anywhere. I'm talking about other theater institutes. But how so? If they tell me this, then I do it differently! What did I think then? I will definitely show myself to EVERYONE! And what? Nothing good came of this. I "failed". Now I understand that it was impossible to tempt fate like that. I returned to where I entered immediately.

— Kirill, is it true that they wanted to expel you from the academy?

- There was such a thing. Why? And at one point I stopped liking what we do for 12 hours at the institute. Well, it didn’t really interest me. And laziness played a role. However, that's a thing of the past. I am grateful to my teachers for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to get a profession.

— Apparently, it’s difficult for directors to work with you. So, or am I wrong?

— I don’t like non-professionals. And this applies not only to the acting profession. Even this annoys me. Yes, I speak my mind on set. Of course, if I see the point in it. Sometimes I just refuse roles. There was a recent case: I was offered a role in a film that will be filmed in Riga. Sorry, but I didn't like the director at all! Or rather, his approach to the creative process. I'm speaking figuratively. He said this directly. I think I did the right thing.

- You are a straightforward person. Don't you regret it later?

“I really say openly what I think.” There are those who don’t like me for this, but there are those who are impressed by my honesty.

— Kirill, would you like to act in Western films?

— And I had an “interview” with Luc Besson. It was very interesting and exciting. I was told that this director is simply a tyrant for the actors. Nothing like this! Besson talks so enthusiastically about the filming process, he draws the actor in so much that it’s a pleasure to listen to him. Unfortunately, I did not pass this “interview”, but the positivity remained. There was another story: I was supposed to star with Brad Pitt, but I refused.

- Why?

“That’s how I felt at that moment.” I was “tormented” by my English: there was an accent that bothered me. And I don’t like it when something is far from ideal. And there was a lot of text in English. The role is serious. And that stopped me. By the way, it later turned out that I had to pronounce half of the text in Russian. It turned out the way it turned out.

— In your opinion, what is the difference between a Hollywood actor and a Russian one?

— They clearly know what they should do on the set! They know the text perfectly and create the image of their hero. They do not wait for the director’s “instructions”, as is customary in Russian cinema. Professionals.

— Kirill, don’t you think that Russian film festivals have become somewhat politicized? For example, at Nikita Mikhalkov’s film festival, excuse me, they give out prizes to foreign films. Doesn't Russian cinema deserve prestigious awards?

— And Russian cinema receives well-deserved awards! But I can agree with you. It’s difficult for me to say what motivates Nikita Sergeevich. I liked (and still like) his film “Burnt by the Sun.” I watched it fifteen times. I think that such a picture deserves the highest award. What is happening now and why? It's hard for me to say.

— Kirill, as far as I know, you acted as a director. And they even got to one of the Western film festivals. Please tell us about it.

- It was last year. Interesting story. I have a project called Arrete de te souvenir ("Stop Remembering"). I acted, so to speak, as a producer, actor, screenwriter. This short film. And it was filmed on a mobile phone!

- Is that possible?

- Maybe! One story caught my attention. I went for a massage at one time and listened to what the woman who did it told me. I wrote down her story. And then the picture took shape and I decided to turn it into reality. He involved his wife Maria Valeshnaya in this (she played the main role). And another role was played by my friend-actor Vitaly Saliy. Then I decided to send my project to the Cannes festival. The film did not make it to the shortlist, but the story continued: the organizers of the festival in England noticed us, in Italy they noticed us, and we even became a nominee in the Short Film category. Here's the story.

— Kirill, weren’t you afraid to play in such a play as “The Master and Margarita”? And even the role of Yeshua! A mystical work, however.

“I have my own secrets on how to get around troubles.” Some are very personal. I don't want to talk about it. But I’ll tell you about “The Master and Margarita”! The fact is that I did not read this work completely! In pieces. I played as I felt. And I wasn't scared. That's the whole secret. I can't say that I'm a completely superstitious person. I believe in my strength.

- Kirill, there is such a phrase - “do not make yourself an idol”...

- I don’t understand this phrase! I play on stage with Oleg Valerianovich Basilashvili and Alisa Brunovna Freundlich! Performance "Uncle's Dream". They are idols for me! My teachers! No, I don’t understand this expression at all!

— What would you wish for yourself personally?

- Interest Ask. Just recently, at night, I called my wife and said that I wanted to take a walk in the park with her, have a romantic date!

- At night. They called...

- Yes. I missed you and I really wanted romance! I think that wanting to play something or go somewhere is empty! This is not exactly a dream anymore! This can easily be made a reality. But what is in your soul... This is much more than reality!

— Thank you for the interview.

BIOGRAPHY

Since childhood, Kirill Zhandarov dreamed of becoming an artist. He took part in school amateur performances. However, Kirill’s parents were skeptical about their son’s hobby. They dreamed that Kirill would enter the law faculty.

In 2000, Kirill graduated from school and decided to become a lawyer. But at the last moment he changed his mind and entered the St. Petersburg Academy of Theater Arts (SPbGATI). Kirill studied on the course of the famous teacher and actor Sergei Parshin, managing to play in the student theater on Mokhovaya Street. His characters enjoyed especially great success with the public in the productions of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and “Truth is Good, but Happiness is Better.”

Childhood and youth

The artist was born on March 29, 1983 near St. Petersburg, in Lomonosov, where he spent his childhood. He became the second son in a family of engineers who worked as a sentry in Peterhof. The actor's elder brother Anton connected his life with technology, working as a system administrator at the St. Petersburg Library. V. Mayakovsky.

Childhood photos of Kirill Zhandarov

Kirill’s choice of acting as a profession was not accidental - from an early age he showed a craving for creativity. During his school years, he took part in amateur performances, played in the literary theater, and was a member of the KVN team. He liked to perform on stage, influence the audience, evoke a response from them, and “bathe” in applause. But his relatives did not take their son’s hobby seriously; they advised him to become a lawyer.

Young Kirill Zhandarov with his mother

After graduating from school in 2000, the young man was faced with a question: listen to his parents and master jurisprudence or choose acting? Everyone tried to dissuade the guy: “You’re from Lomonosov! No one from our town has entered acting yet!”, and he himself understood that it would not be easy to achieve success in such a coveted acting field, but he still applied to the Theater Academy (SPbGATI) ... and entered.

In 2000 Zhandarov entered SPbGATI

The artist admitted in one of his interviews that he did not work particularly hard in Sergei Ivanovich Parshin’s workshop - they even wanted to expel him several times. But then he met teachers, thanks to whom he changed his attitude towards the profession and with full dedication began to hone his acting skills - he studied dancing, vocals, stage speech, and fencing. The names of these stage masters are Roman Viktyuk, Yuri Lyubimov, Temur Chkheidze and Oleg Basilashvili.

The actor performed his first professional performances at the Educational Drama Theater “On Mokhovaya”. In particular, he was involved in productions of William Shakespeare’s romantic comedy about the magic of love, “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” as well as Alexander Ostrovsky’s wise story about the apple orchard, “Truth is good, but happiness is better.”

THEATER

After finishing his studies at the academy, Kirill went to conquer the capital. “My girlfriend dreamed of Moscow, of the Roman Viktyuk Theater, and I just followed her. As happens in such cases, I was accepted into the troupe, but it didn’t pass the audition. The nine months spent in the theater of this wonderful master were bright and eventful. Just look at the role of Yeshua in “The Master and Margarita”! I racked my brain for a long time about how to play it. But at the rehearsal, Viktyuk said: “Forget everything and repeat after me. I need your voice, plasticity and inner sense of the world.” I didn’t understand what was happening: for the first ten performances I went on stage and didn’t know what I was doing or why. Then he resigned himself. This is director's theater - you just need to clearly fulfill the task. Everything was great with Viktyuk, but then they started labeling me, like the rest of the troupe members. Besides, I understood: I need to move on. When they offered me a well-paid enterprise, I agreed. Then I got to the Lyubimov Theater. Yuri Petrovich let me look at the repertoire and choose a role. Naturally, I set my sights on The Master and Margarita, and the same image. “What are you doing? Cat Behemoth will be perfect for you,” said Lyubimov. “But this is not mine at all!” - I thought. And three months later I received an invitation to star in the film “Cheaters” and happily left for Sochi. I had to choose: theater or cinema. And I chose."

In 2006, the artist returned to St. Petersburg. He was accepted into the Bolshoi Drama Theater. Tovstonogov. Kirill Zhandarov was involved in the plays "Uncle's Dream", "Whim!", "School of Taxpayers" and "The Night Before Christmas".

In 2003, Kirill’s biography in cinema began. The actor first appeared on screen in Dmitry Svetozarov’s film “Three Colors of Love.” Zhandarov played a small role, but he was lucky enough to work with Anna Samokhina.

What made him famous was his role as Dmitry in the multi-part project directed by Anna Gres, “The Milkmaid from Khatsapetovka.” This is a melodrama about a girl Katya from the provinces, who arrived in Moscow to enter the food institute. She dreamed of becoming a chef at a big restaurant. The series about the re-education of the major Dima, played by Zhandarov, was watched with rapture by almost the entire female population of Russia and Ukraine. Kirill woke up famous and in great demand.

The very next year, Gres again invited Zhandarov to play the main role in the new film “Hope as Evidence of Life.” This is a complex psychological melodrama about love. Kirill starred in it together with actress Anastasia Panina. Then Kirill took part in the filming of many domestic films, the most famous of which are “And Still I Love. ", "Provincial", "Format A-4", "Breathe with me", "Dostoevsky", "Village Romance". His heroes were mostly scoundrels and "bad guys." But the actor says that he feels good in this role, because playing good people is boring.

“As a film artist, I am grateful to many young talented filmmakers. Including the Kyiv director Anna Gres: I starred in almost all of her films. He also worked on the site of Valeria Gai-Germanika. I really like her style. There is no text, you need to understand the essence and improvise in the frame. I also managed to get to producer Timur Bekmambetov in “Gentlemen, Good Luck!”, where I play together with Sergei Bezrukov. In 2014, the film “Let's Kiss” was released, directed by Sergei Chekalov. During filming, I disagreed with many points, we argued, but we always managed to find a middle ground,” recalls Kirill.

Creative path

Despite not the strongest creative start, because Kirill did not even participate in amateur performances while studying at school, he gets down to business very thoroughly and becomes a real worker at the Academy of Theater Arts. The first roles came during training - it was the theater on Mokhovaya. It cannot be said that he gets passable productions, because here “Truth is good, but happiness is better” and “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” are quite complex in atmosphere and acting.

Despite Kirill’s reluctance to move to Moscow, which he spoke about more than once, he still had to do it. The capital received him more than well, because he joined the troupe of the Roman Viktyuk Theater.

Kirill Zhandarov on the stage of the theater

Over time, the impression of Moscow began to deteriorate and, finally, in one of his interviews, Kirill Zhandarov openly said that he felt uncomfortable in the capital, and even so much so that he decided to return to his hometown.

Here everything went even better, because Kirill, especially with his capital experience, was accepted into the team of the Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theater. His work in the films “Shamanka”, “Milkmaid from Khatsapetovka”, “Polar Voyage” was well received by the audience. Of course, he received incredible pleasure from filming.

Here followed another transformation of Kirill, who again proved that he is not just an artist and a refined person, but also a professional who is ready to follow a strict schedule, over and over again perform a large amount of work and at the same time not complain about anything. The personal life of actor Kirill Zhandarov, his relationship with his wife and children, biography and joint photos - all this can be found on the Internet. Today he has become a popular actor, about whom they talk a lot and only good things.

Kirill Zhandarov on the set of the series “The Milkmaid from Khatsapetovka”

Kirill himself repeatedly and willingly talks about the contradictions that exist in opinions about various theaters. For example, he is struck by the statement that theater is used by actors to gain popularity.

Gradually, as Kirill himself admits, he realized that the theater is precisely the actor’s forge, where he is born and dies every day through hard work. At the same time, cinema can make an actor a star. The theater will never give even a fraction of the popularity that cinema gives. At the same time, cinema will never become an actor’s forge, as theater does.

PERSONAL LIFE

Kirill Zhandarov was introduced by chance to his future wife, artist Nadezhda Tolubeeva. One morning he came to the theater and went down to the cafe. While going down the stairs, he met a beautiful girl. They missed each other. Looking back, Kirill met her gaze. And, as he says, “something happened.”

A few days later they met. Soon Kirill proposed to Nadya. The birth of a son did not save the couple from breaking up. “When a husband and wife spend only a few days a month together, the marriage is at risk. Our union survived for two years, and then the love boat sank. After the divorce, we remained friends, but it was not easy to get through it. Just at this moment, Anna Gres offered a role in the film “Road into Emptiness”. By the way, many symbolic things happened then. I allowed Anna to use my experiences in the frame because I really trust this director. In a normal state, it’s unlikely that my hero would have suffered such a breakdown: he wouldn’t have so many colors,” admits Kirill.

Meeting of a lifetime

Even during the period of his divorce from Nadezhda Tolubeeva, Kirill fell in love. And again it was love for the actress. This time his heart sank when he met Maria Valeshna. The biography of this girl is in many ways similar to the biography of the actor’s previous wife.

Maria herself was born into a creative family and grew up behind the scenes. During her life she had to change more than one place of residence. Born in cold Vorkuta, the girl and her parents constantly moved and stopped in Kirov , where Maria’s parents live and work to this day.

Since childhood, Maria dreamed of continuing the acting dynasty. After graduating from school, she went to St. Petersburg and entered a theater university. While still a student, she began receiving offers from directors to film in their projects. This gave her the experience she needed in the future. After graduating from the institute, Maria was accepted into the troupe of the new Workshop Theater. There, the girl was immediately offered leading roles in performances based on famous classical works.

While Maria is now building a career, her personal life is completely settled. They met their husband Kirill while working together on a film. At first they just talked. Then their relationship began to look more like friendship. Soon the young people realized that they were attracted to each other and began to live together.

Kirill Zhandarov before the wedding

Kirill was never flighty. For him, perhaps, the motto is once in a lifetime. Although it didn’t work out once, he always took relationships very seriously. Before his first marriage, the actor had several girls. Because of one, he even went to work at the Viktyuk Theater, because the girl was his big fan. Then the young people went their separate ways, and now the actor mentions his former lover only in passing.

Filmography of Kirill Zhandarov

When did our hero first appear on wide screens? This happened in 2002. Director Natalya Bondarchuk approved him for the role of Nicholas II in her film “One Love of My Soul.” The young actor brilliantly coped with the tasks assigned to him.

Zhandarov gained all-Russian fame after the release of the series “The Milkmaid from Khatsapetovka.” The audience liked this picture so much that director Anna Gres decided to shoot a second season.

In 2006, Zhandarov was offered a role in the comedy action film “Rogues.” He carefully studied the script and agreed. The image he created was a huge success. After this, the young actor was literally bombarded with offers of cooperation.

First marriage with Nadezhda Tolubeeva

They first met on April 7, 2009. It was the funeral of Nadezhda's father. It was, as Kirill himself says, love at first sight. Nadezhda Tolubeeva is the daughter of Andrei Tolubeev and Ekaterina Marusyak, the granddaughter of Tamara Aleshina and Yuri Tolubeev. Hereditary actress.

A couple of days later, the young people met in a cafe, where Kirill made a ring from a cocktail straw and asked Nadezhda to marry. She agreed. The wedding was also scheduled very quickly. After submitting the application to the registry office, only a week passed.

Since Kirill’s fans decided that Nadezhda was taking away their dreams, a “surprise” awaited the newlyweds on their wedding day. The bride received photographs in which Kirill was in the company of various women unknown to her. The mood was spoiled, to which Zhandarov only laughed at the stupid prank.

The first two years of family life went like clockwork. Then the couple began to move away from each other as their popularity grew. More and more often they were on filming and touring, they spent a minimum of time together. That is why in 2012 a decision was made to divorce. The couple had no children; they parted as friends. Nadezhda has not yet remarried.

Working in the film industry

Simultaneously with his theatrical activities, Kirill acted in films. He noted that he always preferred the film stage, and in the theater, having achieved what he wanted, he quickly lost interest, burned out, and became bored.

The artist’s debut work on the screen was the film “Three Colors of Love” (2003) about the bright and all-consuming feeling of three men for one woman, performed by Anna Samokhina, where he played one of the leading characters in his youth. In 2006, he played in the comedy “Swindlers” based on V. Merezhko’s play “Two from the High Road.”

Young Kirill Zhandarov in “Three Colors of Love” (first film role)

But his real popularity was brought by his participation in the Russian-Ukrainian television series by Anna Gres about a village girl who conquered Moscow, Paris and the heart of the capital’s major “The Milkmaid from Khatsapetovka”, which took place in Transcarpathia and near Kiev. She was played by Evgenia Osipova. It is interesting that he was initially approved for a minor role, but later was offered to play a key character, the son of millionaire Dmitry Bulychev. He did not agree immediately, because the same fee meant a lot of work. In the film, he sang a song of his own composition, and also sat behind the wheel for the first time. Three years later, a continuation of this incredibly popular melodramatic story was released.

On the set of “The Milkmaid from Khatsapetovka”

After this successful project, directors drew attention to the artist, and he began to appear in many film projects. So in 2007, he played a key character in the Ukrainian psychological drama “Hope as Evidence of Life,” filmed by his favorite director Anya Gres. His partner on the set was Russian actress Anastasia Panina.

In 2008, with the participation of Zhandarov, the 3rd season of the detective series “Challenge” with Dmitry Nazarov, Natalia Zhitkova and Alexey Shutov in the central roles was released, as well as the comedy melodrama “Kings Can Do Anything”, where stars such as Gosha Kutsenko starred , Elena Polyakova, Oscar Kuchera and Gerard Depardieu. At the same time, viewers could watch the television series “And Still I Love...”, where the actor’s colleagues on the set were Tatyana Arntgolts, Mikhail Zhigalov, Anton Khabarov, Anastasia Makeeva.

Kirill Zhandarov is a versatile actor

In 2010, a number of films were released in which Kirill created holistic and respectable images: “Tomorrow Begins Yesterday”, “1942”, as well as the popular project “Breathe with Me”. Then he appeared in the top-rated television series by Valeria Gai Germanika “A Short Course in a Happy Life,” playing the husband of the main character played by Alisa Khazanova.

On photoshoot

In 2012, the actor embodied the image of ensign Strashkevich in The White Guard, which brought together on one set a large number of famous screen masters, including Konstantin Khabensky, Ksenia Rappoport, Igor Vernik, Fyodor Bondarchuk, Sergei Garmash, Alexei Serebryakov, Sergei Shakurov, Evgeniy Stychkin, Yuri Stoyanova. The film is based on the book of the same name by Mikhail Bulgakov and tells about the events of the end of 1918, when the officers of the White Guard are faced with the question of whether to remain faithful to the oath to the Tsar and the Fatherland or go over to the side of the Bolsheviks. In addition, he played the leading role of a charming heartthrob in the project “Road into Emptiness.”

In 2013, the actor played the husband of the leading character’s sister in the Ukrainian comedy “Polar Flight”, in 2014 - the central role in the film of a similar genre “Let’s Kiss”, in the film “Windy Woman” about the romantic love story of his hero, businessman Nikita, and a simple girl Leah (actress Valeria Khodos).

On the set of the series “Sun as a Gift”

Then he shone in the musical “The Last Train,” brilliantly revealing the character of the talented musician Sergei, the lover of the main character Anya (Anastasia Panina), in the exciting detective story “The Alchemist” with Igor Petrenko, Artem Tkachenko and Viktor Rakov, and also played the main characters in Ukrainian melodramas "Self Interest" and "The Perfect Couple's Verdict." Fans could see their idol in 2020 also in the detective film “Police Station”, where he embodied the image of a criminal businessman, and in a number of other projects, including “Murder for Three”, “Gift of Sunshine”, “Experience”.

Second marriage – Maria Valeshnaya

The relationship with Maria began to develop during the divorce process, when the first marriage was put to an end. The actors starred together in the melodrama “An Exception to the Rule.” Maria is a hot brunette from the series “Streets of Broken Lanterns.”

At first, Kirill and Maria were just colleagues and maintained friendly relations, which later grew into great and true love.

At first, the actors lived in a civil marriage, and in 2013 they legalized their relationship. Everything in the family is going as well as possible. And the secret of success, as Kirill says, is friendship and mutual understanding.

Maria, like Kirill, always took relationships very seriously. Therefore, she did not have many whirlwind romances and was not married.

The spouses are completely different in character, but this does not prevent them from spending time comfortably together. There is also romance in their lives. They are always in touch with each other: they call each other, exchange photos and messages.

Do Kirill and Maria have children?

Yes, the couple has an only son, who was born in 2013 after marriage. The boy was named after Kirill's father, Valery.

As expected, talented parents have talented children. Valera is already seriously interested in technology and is interested in what is inside, how everything works. He especially likes to study clocks and fans. In one of the interviews, his parents said that he had 32 of them. When Kirill was in Kyiv, he brought his son a large fan from there.

Maria and Kirill are wonderful parents. They do not devote themselves to their careers, but take care of their son on their own. When signing contracts, Kirill stipulates that from January to May he does not work, but takes care of his son.

He himself changed diapers and bathed his heir. At first, Maria was very afraid to bathe the baby, and the father of the family did it himself.

The news about Masha's pregnancy was received with great joy. Kirill immediately took out a loan to buy an apartment in St. Petersburg. Now, when their son is growing up, the star family wants to move to more spacious housing on Vasilyevsky Island. Most likely, they will soon plan to have a second child.

Now Kirill often gives interviews about how important family is. He talks about his relationship and how lucky it is to be a good husband and father. After all, an acting career for Kirill Zhandarov is a way to keep himself busy. And family is the main meaning of his life. Maria Valeshnaya also does not give up her acting career, but successfully combines it with caring for her son.
