Biography
Dmitry Maryanov was born in Moscow. His father was an employee of the USSR Ministry of Transport, and his mother worked as an accountant. His parents had high hopes for their son: his mother saw him as a great philosopher, and his father saw him as a future true fighter. Dmitry eventually managed to become both. From an early age he attended drama school and was an actor in a small eccentric theater called the Learned Monkey. At the same time, the young artist was fond of fishing and managed to practice dancing and various sports.
Dmitry recalls about his childhood: “My childhood was athletic. I have been swimming for four years. Then a little football, a little sambo. Then he took up boxing. In seventh grade I moved to drama school. Started doing break dancing and acrobatics. Our school was at the theater on Krasnaya Presnya. My first appearance on stage was as an extra in Tom Sawyer. I played a lot of plays."
After graduating from school, Dmitry Maryanov decided to enter the Shchukin Theater School, and on the second attempt he succeeded. Exams and student life left a vivid impression in the artist’s memory: “I failed in the first round. Then I insolently came to the second one, to another teacher. I wrote the essay with a “B”, filed an appeal, and they allowed me to rewrite it. And so... Students... Half-starved, always drunk, but it’s like everyone else. Great years, no responsibility."
Maryanov was not the most diligent student, but for his unconditional talent he earned the loyal attitude of his teachers. In 1992, Dmitry received a diploma from "Pike", said goodbye to the "Scientific Monkey" and was immediately accepted into the troupe of the famous "Lenkom" under the direction of Mark Zakharov.
Like most young people of that time, Dima did not survive the army. “I served in the Air Force, in Vyshny Volochyok, between Leningrad and Moscow... That’s where I set up a studio. I had 38 girls from Red Town. And then my classmates came to my unit. So I worked with them, we even staged a couple of performances,” says the actor in an interview.
In parallel with his stage work, Dmitry managed to try himself in many professions. He worked as a waiter, a loader, taught dance, and was a pyrotechnician in one painting. But the scene still swallowed him whole.
Actor's childhood
Dmitry Maryanov was born in Moscow. His biography began on December 1, 1969. He was an ordinary boy, no different from the others. He loved to play pranks and played sports (gymnastics, sambo, football). He also loved to swim and dance. Dima was an active, athletic boy who rarely got sick. As a child, he did not show personal artistic abilities. His dad worked in a garage, his mother was an accountant. There were no people in the family associated with theater or cinema. But sometimes it happens in life that talent manifests itself unexpectedly.
Dmitry Maryanov in childhood
Dima dreamed of becoming an archaeologist, traveling, doing historical excavations. But it so happened that his family moved closer to the school, which intensively studied performing arts.
She was attached to the theater. The boy began to study there and gradually fell in love with acting. He began to participate in productions of the small theater “The Scientist Monkey”. Dima liked playing on stage. He unexpectedly discovered acting talent. He participated in the “Your Own Director” program.
Theater
The first theater where Dmitry Maryanov played was “The Scientist's Monkey”, which the audience knew better from his participation in the TV show “Your Own Director”. Later, the actor served at Lenkom. He played on the famous stage of the Troubadour in The Town Musicians of Bremen, the First Writer in Juno and Maybe, Nikita in Cruel Intentions, Lord Percy in the Royal Games, Kruper in The Barbarian and the Heretic. He also took part in the plays: “Funeral Prayer”, “Crazy Day, or The Marriage of Figaro”. In 1998, the artist became a laureate of the Evgeny Leonov Prize for the role of Belyaev in Vladimir Mirzoev’s production of “Two Women”.
In 2003, Dmitry left Lenkom and was accepted into the troupe of the Independent Theater Project. Together with Gosha Kutsenko, Marat Basharov, Konstantin Yushkevich, Lyudmila Artemyeva, Vyacheslav Razbegaev, Maryanov shone in “Ricochet” by Anatoly Spivak and three performances by Viktor Shamirov: “Ladies'Night”, “Snow White and Others” and “The Game of Truth”.
The actor’s work in two well-known performances of “Quartet I” and the group “Accident” turned out to be successful: the ironic musical show from the life of the media business “Radio Day” and the farce-major comedy “Election Day”, which enjoyed incredible success among the audience and always collected a full hall.
Dmitry Maryanov was lucky enough to take part in a comedy staged by director Andrei Zhitinkin in the “Duet Creative Association”. In the play, the actor shared the stage with the famous Lyudmila Gurchenko, as well as with Sergei Shakurov and Evgenia Dobrovolskaya.
Cinema
Dmitry Maryanov's first appearance on screen took place in 1986. He starred in Valery Fedosov’s film “There Was Not” and in the leading role in the children’s musical film “Above the Rainbow” directed by Georgy Yungvald-Khilkevich. In the latter, the actor played a teenager, unlike his contemporaries, and even singing in the unusual voice of Vladimir Presnyakov Jr., little known at that time. According to Dmitry’s recollections, on the set he caused a lot of trouble for the director: “Kuklachev and I knocked down walnuts in the studio and ate them right away. But he was already free, and I was still filming. Walnut is iodine. Accordingly, my entire mouth was covered in iodine. The same thing happened near Tallinn when I got my hands on blueberries. I ate too many blueberries and my tongue was like a chow chow's. They scrubbed it with cotton wool soaked in triple cologne.”
A couple of years later, the dramatic school film “Dear Elena Sergeevna” was released with the participation of Dmitry. There were some adventures in this picture, too. The actor recalls: “When I was break dancing at rehearsal, I did something wrong and broke my meniscus. After that we were taken to the hospital and had surgery. For this he received a six-month deferment from the army. Now, when so many years have passed, you look at what you were like in your youth, how you thought that all this was brilliant. It turns out I was wrong. But it’s cool to look at yourself from the perspective of the years you’ve lived.”
His first film roles brought Dmitry Maryanov audience popularity, and Valery Todorovsky’s social melodrama “Love” with his participation secured the actor’s status as a “star” of the new generation. The film received many prizes; Lev Durov, Evgeny Mironov, Raisa Ryazanova, Viya Artmane starred in it.
At the turn of the century, the artist continued to actively act in film. Viewers saw with his participation: the retro drama “Russian Ragtime”, where Nikolai Dobrynin and Vladimir Menshov also shone, the action film “The Lion’s Share” with Nikolai Karachentsov, Dmitry Pevtsov and Chulpan Khamatova, the thriller “Mixer” with Gosha Kutsenko, Lyudmila Maksakova, the comedy “The Dashing Couple” with Anastasia Zavorotnyuk and Sergei Artsibashev.
Dmitry Maryanov worked in different genres, his every appearance on camera was intriguing. In the film adaptation of the famous novel “The Countess de Monsoreau” by Alexandre Dumas, the actor played de Saint-Luc. He was invited by his Lenkom partner Alexander Abdulov to play the role of the Cat in The Town Musicians of Bremen and Co.
Dmitry became famous throughout the country, but the peak of his popularity in the early 2000s can rightfully be considered the series by Evgeniy Serov “Fighter”, where
and performed most of the stunts himself. On the set, as the artist admitted in an interview, emotional relationships developed. “We were very friendly. After all, nothing will work out if you exist separately. Everything needs to happen collectively somehow. The work process was good. When they finished filming, the producer took us all out into the countryside. Huge tables were set. Everyone swam, played football, and relaxed,” Dmitry explained and told about the funniest joke during work: “Words: “Camera. Motor". I shouted: “Wait, wait, I forgot the text!” To which the director said: “Bring him the text.” And then I realized that there was nothing to carry (laughs). I don’t have a text, I’m dumb. And once every three days someone fell for this joke.”
Among the later films with the participation of Dmitry Maryanov, it should be noted: the series “Satisfaction”, “Ticket to the Harem”, “Personal Life of Investigator Savelyev”, “Sviridovs”, “Craftsmen”, comedies “The Ideal Wife” and “Game of Truth”, melodramas “When the wild rosemary blooms”, “Night Guest” and others.
“It took a long time and painfully to leave”: Dmitry Maryanov could have been beaten before his death
On October 18, a press conference was held at which the lawyers of Dmitry Maryanov announced new information from the materials of the criminal case.
Dmitry Maryanov died two years ago while in a rehabilitation center in the Moscow region. The criminal case regarding his death was transferred to court, the investigation established the guilt of the director of the rehabilitation center where Maryanov was undergoing treatment for alcohol addiction. Oksana Bogdanova faces up to six years in prison; she will be tried on two counts: “leaving in danger” and “providing services that negligently resulted in the death of a person.” But the artist’s family believes that Bogdanova has been charged incompletely.
Lawyer Victoria Krylova represents the interests of Daniil Maryanov (the actor’s 22-year-old son) in a criminal trial. At the request of the family, Victoria Krylova voiced facts that make us talk about a new turn in the criminal case regarding the death of the star: “Dmitry Maryanov died long and painfully. According to the examination, the first signs when it was necessary to sound the alarm appeared early in the morning. And he died at about 19.30 in the evening... After the first complaints and until the evening, his condition constantly worsened. The pulse (probably the lawyer means blood pressure. - Ed.) was 90 to 70, they noted that he spoke slowly, Dmitry’s legs were paralyzed... He constantly asked for help. It all ended in terrible pain, he could not walk. The widow was informed about this by phone... But it was decided to leave him in the center. The person did not call an ambulance all day until the evening....”
Dmitry Maryanov died due to “a through rupture of the posterior wall of the left common iliac vein with the formation of massive blood loss.” In other words, a blood clot has broken off in a vein. Oksana Bogdanova’s defenders believe that this happened due to acute thrombophlebitis. As you know, Maryanov had a vena cava filter installed on his leg - a device that is implanted into the inferior vena cava to catch emboli (thrombotic blood clots or blood clots) and prevent them from entering the pulmonary artery.

But lawyer Victoria Krylova announced the results of the examination: “Rupture of the vessel without injury was not possible. This happened due to blunt trauma to the abdomen. He supposedly received it at 7 a.m. on the day of his death...”
Experts suggest that on the morning of the day of Dmitry’s death, Maryanov was hit, or maybe even beaten. The vessel rupture did not occur in the place where the vena cava filter was installed. This means we can assume that it was the injury that could have caused the actor’s death.
The chronology of Dmitry Maryanov's stay in the city was restored. An acquaintance of Ksenia Bik (the widow of Dmitry Maryanov) took him to this very center. On the way out of the car, the actor sent an SMS to his friends: “They’re taking me somewhere to get patched up...” He didn’t fully understand what they would do to him. And a couple of days later, Dmitry got ready to go home and demanded that he give him his phone and laptop, since the actor had performances on his schedule that he never canceled. But the founder and director of the rehabilitation center, Oksana Bogdanova, diagnosed Dmitry Maryanov with “delirium tremens” and instructed him to administer the drugs haloperidol and phenazepam every 2 to 3 hours. There was no license to carry out medical activities; there were no medical staff there. And the agreement between Oksana Bogdanova and the widow Ksenia Bik was signed retroactively on the day of the artist’s death; there is no third mandatory signature of the actor himself on the agreement.
Therefore, the lawyer of Dmitry Maryanov’s son will seek to have the head of the rehabilitation center charged under two more articles: “illegal medical activity” and “illegal deprivation of liberty.”

In memory of Dmitry Maryanov. The artist died in October 2017 on the way to a hospital located in Lobnya, near Moscow.
A television
Dmitry Maryanov's filmography is extremely rich, but the actor's talent is broader, and he constantly tries himself in new projects.
The artist was the host of the culinary program “Foreign Cuisine” on the Domashny TV channel, although he admits that he rarely cooks and is very picky about food: “... to some extent, yes, you can say that he is a gourmet. I haven’t eaten meat for twelve years, only chicken.”
Over the years, Dmitry Maryanov also hosted shocking episodes with scary stories in the television show “Eyewitness: The Most Shocking” on REN TV and the program “Disasters of the Week” on TV-6.
In 2007 and 2009, the actor took part in the show “Ice Age” on Channel One of Russian television, paired with figure skater Irina Lobacheva. Working in the program compensated for Dmitry’s lack of roles full of stunts: “You can’t imagine what courage and drive it is! Was it in vain that I spent so much time in the gym? Did you train in vain?! If I can do something, why not show it?” - the actor admits. Friendly relations developed between the stars. In one of his interviews, the artist says: “You know, I won’t reveal a secret if I say: at rehearsals, many couples often argued and lost their temper... But we didn’t have that. “Only once did Irina raise her voice at me, and then to the point and without anger.”
In 2010, the artist competed with other stars in the popular dance project of the Russia 1 TV channel, “Hipsters Show with Maxim Galkin.”
Loving Don Juan
The personal life of Dmitry Maryanov is a symbiosis of various genres: vaudeville, drama and even tragedy. The first great feeling gripped the artist back in his student days, when he could not live without his classmate Tatyana Skorokhodova.
The girl enjoyed the attention of many men, but for some reason she singled out Dima from the crowd of fans. Young “Romeo” courted the beauty for a long time, clumsily and ineptly , but when, after graduating from college, Tatyana demanded certainty, Maryanov wanted to take another walk. The young people parted without reproaches or scandals.
In 1994, Dmitry met Olga Anosova, a former fashion model who decided to master the directing profession and entered VGIK. For some time, the young people lived together, but rarely saw each other - Olga spent many hours in classrooms, and Dmitry was busy in Lenkom performances.
Even when the couple had a son, Daniil, Maryanov did not take a single step towards legitimizing his relationship with the mother of his child. Tired of such a relationship, Olga showed her former lover the door and closed it forever behind him and in front of him.
In 2007, at rehearsals for the show “Ice Age,” Maryanov met Irina Lobacheva , who was to teach the actor figure skating techniques. Daily training and colorful performances in front of judges and audiences grew into a whirlwind romance.
The athlete left her husband Ilya Averbukh, took her son and began to live with Maryanov. Journalists persistently predicted the next wedding, but the lovers were in no hurry.
After some time, Irina and Dmitry began to appear at social events less and less, and rumors of a breakup began to spread, which were confirmed in 2013. At the birthday party of his colleague Gosha Kutsenko, Maryanov introduced everyone to his new lover, Ksenia Bik .
A girl, 17 years younger than the actor, who studied psychology, managed to win the heart of an avid supporter of bachelor life and open relationships. Maryanov seriously thought about starting a family.
In September 2020, the couple celebrated their wedding , after which they once again shocked the public with the message that they already had a daughter together, born long before the wedding.
Personal life
Dmitry Maryanov is known as a famous womanizer; the list of his love victories is no less impressive than his filmography. The actor’s first serious relationship was with his charming classmate Tatyana Skorokhodova. The stormy romance lasted three years, the couple starred together in the film “Love”, where in the story they played spouses. But in life, Dima and Tanya never got married. The parting was amicable. After graduating from college, Tatyana returned to her native Irkutsk and got married successfully, and Dmitry became interested in the new beauty.
The romance with former fashion model Olga Anosova developed rapidly. The lovers lived together, but did not see each other often: Maryanov was constantly on tour with the theater, and Olga was simultaneously studying and acting in music videos. The couple dreamed of a son, but with his long-awaited appearance, Dmitry realized that he was not ready to become a caring father and change his usual way of life for the sake of the child. According to the law of the genre, such a union could not exist for long. Olga kicked her negligent father out of her family and her life.
In 2007, on the set of the TV show “Ice Age,” Dmitry Maryanov met the famous figure skater Irina Lobacheva, who had recently broken up with Ilya Averbukh. Their whirlwind romance began in 2009, but this time Irina refused to marry the actor. Their relationship did not stand the test of time and the couple broke up.
In September 2020, the avid bachelor finally got married. His chosen one is Kharkov resident Ksenia Bik, a psychologist by training, unknown to anyone in artistic circles. Dmitry is seventeen years older than his wife. Before registering the relationship, the couple lived in a civil marriage for three years, during which Ksenia managed to surround the actor with attention and care, and he, in turn, found contact with her daughter Anfisa.
Matters of the heart
The first real feeling came into the artist’s life during his student years. His chosen one was a classmate named Tatyana Skorokhodova. The girl was never deprived of the attention of representatives of the opposite sex, but she did not consider anyone her own age to play the role of her boyfriend. Dmitry was an exception. For the first time their eyes met during stage movement classes. But the romance began only six months later. At that time, Maryanov was inexperienced in romance novels, so his courtship took a long time and clumsily.
The relationship between the young artists lasted 3 years. After graduation, Tatyana wanted certainty, but Dmitry was flighty and did not plan to tie the knot. The separation passed calmly, without scandals or quarrels.
The artist’s next lover was fashion model Olga Anosova. Dmitry Maryanov met her in 1994, when the girl returned from a fashion show in France and entered VGIK. The young people lived together, but practically did not see each other: Olya spent a lot of time studying, and Dmitry worked at Lenkom.
It should be noted that even the girl’s pregnancy did not prompt her to go to the registry office. After the birth of Maryanov’s son Daniil, Dmitry entrusted all care of the baby to his common-law wife. One day Olga simply couldn’t stand it and kicked the artist out not only from the apartment, but also from her life.
The artist tried not to talk about his son. The thing is that Anosova forbade making the child a public person. In her opinion, it is enough that her father’s name is heard everywhere. It is noteworthy that the girl tried to maintain friendly relations with the father of her child and did not interfere with the actor’s communication with the boy. After the man’s death, journalists, publishing photographs of the actor in his youth, highlighted the boy’s resemblance to his father.
In 2007, at the Ice Age project, the actor met Irina Lobacheva. The girl had to teach Maryanov figure skating: the young people trained for days. However, their efforts soon bore fruit - the couple took the lead in the show.
Then the artist and the figure skater began a relationship. After Lobacheva’s divorce from her husband Ilya Averbukh, Dmitry moved in with her and found a common language with Irina’s son from her first marriage.
Interview
About hobby
In addition to his interests in sports and women,... Dmitry fearlessly rides around Moscow on his two-wheeled “horse”. Like a real biker, he goes to work exclusively on a motorcycle, motivating it this way: “... traffic jams are overcome faster. And then there’s this buzz, a feeling of freedom, similar to the one you experience when riding a horse.”
About the weekend
In one of the interviews, the actor talked about how he spends his free time: “A sofa and a bunch of cassettes. Of course, it’s also great to have a barbecue with friends in nature. But, unfortunately, this very rarely happens.”
About the dive
An extreme sports enthusiast, Dmitry Maryanov, jumped with a parachute, rode a motorcycle, skateboarded, roller-skated, and went horseback riding. But one day he dared to dive to the bottom of Lake Baikal. The artist shared his impression of such a drive: “I had my first dive with friends in the pool, and the water there was 26 degrees plus. And the second dive happened three days later on Lake Baikal, where the ice is one and a half meters and the water temperature is +1. To say that I dreamed about it... Yes, no, of course I didn’t dream about it. And then I realized that I still don’t know the things that I can dream about or should dream about. Fear and panic when you realize that you cannot surface where you want. When there is deep blackness below you, and a six-meter firmament above your head... I rested, in general. But impressions..."

About Maryanov's films
Dmitry first appeared on screen in the children's film “Above the Rainbow” by Georgy Yungvald-Khilkevich in 1986. The picture was atypical for that time: wonderful music and a magical plot - all this created an atmosphere of a joyful holiday. The audience was most surprised by the main character - schoolboy Alik, played by young Maryanov. He was unlike his peers - he dressed strangely, sang strangely and had a strange hairstyle.
The audience saw Dima again after 2 years: now he was in a completely opposite role. In the psychological drama “Dear Elena Sergeevna” by Eldar Ryazanov, he played a teenager trying to get the key to the door of the office where the works are stored in order to make changes to them.
If his first film roles brought the actor popularity, the social melodrama “Love” secured the talented guy’s status as a “star” of the new generation. Films with Dmitry’s participation were regularly released on screens: the melodrama “Dancing Ghosts”, the thriller “Coffee with Lemon”, the comedy “Dashing Couple” and others. However, many viewers fell in love with the young man for his role as De Saint-Luc in the film adaptation of the novel “The Countess de Monsoreau” by Alexandre Dumas.
The 2000s were marked by a rapid rise for Russian cinema. It started with TV series, followed by big cinema. The name of Dmitry Maryanov, who already did not suffer from the directors’ inattention, began to be heard more often.
In 2000, the actor starred in the melodrama “The President and His Granddaughter” by Tigran Keosayan. This was followed by roles in the TV series “The Diary of a Murderer”, “Lady Mayor”, “Girls of the Starfish”, “Rostov-Papa”, “Fighter”.
The actor's tall height (179 cm), strong physique, the actor with a stern but at the same time open face quickly established himself as a certain type. As a rule, Maryanov’s heroes are strong people, and this does not depend on their profession.
In the series “Students” Dmitry plays an ordinary teacher Igor Artemyev. His hero is a sympathetic, kind teacher, a professional in his field, but also a smart, modern man who gets to work on a motorcycle.
The actor gained popularity; now in most of the films in which Maryanov starred, he got the main roles. Dmitry Yuryevich played the main characters of such films as “Obsessed”, “Adult Daughter or Test for...”, “Fathers”, “Black City”, “Night Guest”, “How to Marry a Millionaire”, “Game of Truth”, "Craftsmen" and others.
In 2012, Maryanov began working on the series “The Personal Life of Investigator Savelyev,” where he played Savelyev, indicated in the title. The main roles in the series were played by Nonna Grishaeva, Yuri Belyaev, Lyubov Tolkalina, Ada Rogovtseva and Mikhail Zhigalov.
In 2020, the actor played one of the main roles in the comedy melodrama “Call Husband.”
In 2020, he appeared on stage in the experimental play “Unreal Show”. Only Maryanov himself and Lyubov Tolkalina took part in the production, and all the action took place in a small space limited by the faces of the cube. The audience really liked the acting; Maryanov and Tolkalina together, without any props or complex decorations, easily held the attention of the audience. But the plot of the production left many theatergoers dissatisfied.
This year brought the actor and filming in two crime dramas “Breaking” and “Dodgeball”. In both films, Maryanov played the main roles. Viewers saw the series “Bouncer” in the summer of 2016, and the premiere of the two-part film hacking took place only in February 2020.
