Among them: the films “Kisses of Fallen Angels”, “Two Lives of Colonel Rybkina” (for this role she was nominated for an award from the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service), “Call Husband”, television series “Zhurov”, “Platinum”, “Chapay Passion”, theatrical works “Ondine”, “The Little Humpbacked Horse”, “Return”, “White Rabbit”.

Even the harshest critics noted Yulia's spectacular and bright stage appearance, her natural artistry, extraordinary acting talent, and excellent command of the piano. The actress’s PhD degree in psychology also deserves respect.

Personal life

Of course, such a beautiful and charming girl as Yulia Galkina always had many fans, and she never needed male attention. But her personal life remained in the background for some time, as she tried to devote all her attention to creative development and study. After all, in her opinion, success comes only to those artists who work with full dedication.

But after some time, even with her busy work schedule, Yulia Galkina managed to pay due attention to her personal life: she has a beloved husband and son (see more details on the Wikipedia website).

Julia met her future husband back in 2009. This happened during the filming of the television series “Zhurov”, where Galkina appeared in the image of a young and beautiful student Stepanova, and Makarov was the director and producer.

Yu. Galkina with her husband and son

The actress said in an interview: “It was our first day of filming. I was in a large auditorium at some university, where I was just supposed to listen to a lecture. After filming, a message comes to my phone: “You played very well!” in response I send: “Who is this?” I receive the following SMS: “Greetings from the gallery!”

When I raised my head, I saw almost all the members of our film crew! I was very interested in this situation, so I took from the administrator a complete list of project participants with names and phone numbers. This list was very long. But intuitively, I started checking the numbers from the very end. Only a couple of hours later I managed to find out who decided to do such an act. I was very dumbfounded when I found out that it was our director Ilya Makarov!”

It is worth noting that they immediately liked each other. Moreover, at that time both were free, and nothing could stop them from building their personal lives. It’s interesting that Julia’s future husband proposed to her on the third day of their acquaintance. But Galkina reacted very calmly to such a statement, so she immediately agreed.

On the set of another movie

Some time later, a joyful event occurred in the personal life of Yulia Galkina and her husband - she gave birth to her first child, Mikhail (see joint photo later in the article).

Now only mutual understanding and love reign in their family. Her husband supports her in every possible way and Julia is very grateful to him for this.

After giving birth, the actress recovered very quickly and acquired a slimmer figure. In her opinion, some hormonal changes have occurred in the body, but Galkina is trying in every possible way to maintain her figure: active training in the gym, proper nutrition and a strong family. It is very important for her to feel happy, this is the only way she can surround her family with care and love. It is thanks to this that Yulia Galkina’s personal life is going well: she has a loving husband and son who give her confidence in the future.

The childhood of Yulia Galkina

Julia was born on December 24, 1984 in a family of historian professors from Kursk. In her early years, according to the actress, she was a crazy “kid” - she didn’t like dolls, braids and bows at all, preferring haircuts and boyish games of war, snow forts and snowball fights.

It’s hard to imagine that Yulia Galkina was a “tomboy” as a child.

The girl attended school No. 57 and also studied at a music school (vocal and piano classes). She was an exemplary student, so her parents hoped that Yulia would share their passion for science in the future. But in the 9th and 10th grades, she “fell ill” not with history, but with the stage: she began dancing, attending a theater studio and seriously thinking about an acting career.

Having received a secondary education and heeding the opinion of her relatives, who vied with each other to convince her of the prospects of becoming a psychologist, she became a student at the psychology department of a local state university. But a year later, Julia still went to Moscow in the hope of enrolling in a theater school. And she passed the competition - she was accepted into the Moscow Art Theater School, into the workshop of Igor Zolotovitsky and Sergei Zemtsov. Later, she jokingly claimed that the rain that poured on the day of the exam, which scared other applicants, helped her.

Childhood and youth

Julia spent her childhood in her hometown. From an early age, the girl had a boyish character and habits: she wore sneakers and jeans, had her hair cut short, hung on horizontal bars, and loved to play war games and football with the guys. Before entering secondary school, Yulia communicated exclusively with boys. Her parents and grandmother always gave the girl complete freedom in everything.

When Yulia went to school No. 57 (Kursk), she studied in a physics and mathematics class . Teachers often praised her for her diligence and diligence. For the girl, her father’s word has always been an incentive - she must!

From early childhood, Yulia knew that there was such a word as “I want.” If a girl wanted something, her family never limited her in anything. But this word had a certain meaning: the girl always wanted something useful. For example, study at a music school, dance, and also crochet.

Almost every summer the girl went to the Komsorg children's camp or to her beloved grandmother in the village. Yulia never sat at home. She had absolutely no time to drink beer with the street kids or suffer from unrequited love. Julia knew and clearly understood that if she wants to achieve something in life, she must know a lot.

The girl never made a cult out of clothes and jewelry. She was completely calm about her bright appearance; she did not consider herself a beauty. Also, in Yulia’s family it was not customary to praise the girl and cooze with her.

Yulia’s parents dreamed that after graduating from school she would follow in their footsteps and become involved in scientific activities. The girl often participated in regional and regional reading competitions while studying at school. Mother and father treated their daughter’s hobby as a hobby.

In 2001, after graduating from secondary school, Yulia entered the Kursk State University at the Faculty of Psychology. Yulia liked to study. It was especially interesting to dive into the secrets of the human soul. But the emotional girl longed to do something else.

Julia ended up in the Harlequin theater studio, where the girl really liked acting. It was there that she felt completely free, performing on stage. One day, the head of a theater studio advised the girl to try to enroll in a theater university in the capital, and Yulia made up her mind.

After studying for one year at the university, the girl could not stand it, and having passed the exam ahead of schedule, she went to enroll in a theater university in Moscow. The girl did not tell her parents her purpose for traveling to the capital. The first time, Yulia managed to pass the audition and become a student in the acting course at the Moscow Art Theater School. During the exam, she read prose and poetry fluently and confidently.

The girl studied professional art in the workshop of professor and theater figure Sergei Ivanovich Zemtsov (born in 1957) and Honored Artist of the Russian Federation and rector of the Moscow Art Theater School Zolotovitsky Igor Yakovlevich (born in 1961). Yulia's classmates were such famous artists as Maxim Matveev, Ekaterina Vilkova, Anton Shagin and others. Already in her student years, the young actress began working at Chekhov's Moscow Art Theater. Yulia graduated from the Moscow Art Theater School-Studio in 2006, becoming a certified actress.

Later, in 2011, the girl defended her PhD thesis in psychology and received a diploma of second higher education . Julia did this so as not to disappoint her parents.

Actor career

The stage debut of the beautiful student took place in her 3rd year on the stage of the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater.
This was the role of Maria in the production based on the story by Andrei Platonov “The Return”. Her partners in theater performances were such recognized masters of stage art as Oleg Tabakov, Andrei Myagkov, Alexey Guskov, and among her fellow students were subsequently successful actors Maxim Matveev, Ekaterina Vilkova, Pavel Vorozhtsov, Anton Shagin, Anna Begunova. Having received a diploma in psychology in absentia from KSU, the girl, as they say, decided not to stop there and continued her studies in graduate school. Later, in 2011, she received a PhD in Psychology.

Yulia Galkina – Candidate of Psychological Sciences

In 2006, the young actress (and graduate student at KSU) graduated from the Studio School and joined the Moscow Art Theater troupe. She played Dunyasha in the comedy “The Cherry Orchard,” a nun in “Tartuffe,” Bliss in “Spring Fever,” and was involved in many other productions from the drama theater’s repertoire.

Yulia Galkina in the play “Egg”

In 2013, Yulia reported that she was fired from the theater, but she did not suffer much about this. The actress noted that working on the Moscow Art Theater stage was a great school for her, but the changes that occurred there no longer corresponded to her moral principles and values.

Yulia Galkina: The rain helped me become an actress!

Julia believes that she still has a lot of interesting roles ahead of her

The TV series star became related to Katya Vilkova thanks to her husband Ilya Lyubimov

On Channel One, the broadcast of the series “Rounder” has ended. The main villain in the film was played by 28-year-old Yulia GALKINA. The actress now has a lot of leading roles. At the same time, she still manages to take care of her little son and be a caring wife for producer Ilya MAKAROV.

- Moscow does not believe in tears. You came eleven years ago from Kursk, became a famous actress, and live in a country house. Did the capital easily conquer you?

- Without excessive mental anguish. After graduating from school in Kursk, I entered the Psychological State University. A year later I went to Moscow. All that I read when entering theater institutes in Moscow were excerpts from reading evenings, school, regional competitions in which I participated. My parents treated this as a hobby and were very surprised when I showed a serious intention to become an artist. They thought it was stupid and said that I wouldn’t do it without money and connections. In general, in Kursk I passed the exam ahead of schedule and arrived in the capital with a thousand rubles in my pocket. Using the metro map, I figured out where to go and first of all went to the Moscow Art Theater School. And they took me. By mistake, I went straight to the second round. It was raining wildly, which drove away all the applicants. I was confused, I only had a minute to prepare...

—Your course turned out to be very stellar. Maxim Matveev, Ekaterina Vilkova, Anton Shagin - the favorite student of your director Zolotovitsky, prima of the Pushkin Theater Anna Begunova...

— This all worked out because they recruited us very correctly: according to type, texture. Most of the guys came from the provinces, no one imagined that something could come of us. A sea of ambitions and a sea of desires - that’s what everyone definitely had! And you’re wrong about Shagin - I don’t think Anton was a favorite. He couldn’t pronounce any letters; he was from a tiny town.

- What about novels? Didn’t you really have cupid with the same handsome Matveev?

- We are friends - what are you talking about?! I didn’t have any affairs - I’m a serious girl. Although we even had a wedding during our studies: Shagin married our Veronica Isaeva . They made a wonderful couple. But in terms of careers, everyone immediately took off. From the course, Valery Todorovsky recruited actors for the film “Hipsters,” and then for “Vise.” By the way, I auditioned for the role of the main Komsomol member in Hipsters.

— In the end, she was played by Todorovsky’s wife, Evgenia Brik! Should you have auditioned?

- This is all understandable... But then I didn’t think about such things. On the other hand, I am friends with Zhenya Brik , she is a good actress, and I have no resentment. The acting profession is a lottery: you can quickly achieve success, or you can be nothing. Nevertheless, I am sure that if you work honestly, sooner or later you will succeed.

With classmate and filming partner Dmitry PCHELA (Photo: fb.com)

- Do not speak! There are many beautiful, talented actresses similar in type to Ekaterina Vilkova, but it was she who became a star without even playing in the theater.

- Katya is my friend. I'm happy for her, she got it, that's important. By the way, we are almost relatives: Ilya Lyubimov , Katya’s husband, is the godfather of my son Misha, who will be four years old on December 31. My husband Ilya and Ilya Lyubimov became friends. They are mature, smart, very well-read Jewish men!

Saved Khabensky

— You devoted several years to the Moscow Art Theater. Why did you leave the most expensive theater in the country?

— I’ll be honest: I was fired. At the end of the contract, I still played plays, but now I don’t play anymore and, honestly, I don’t suffer much from it. Probably, at that time the theater did not need my type. I don’t like what’s happening at the Moscow Art Theater now. It’s like in a supermarket: if you want drama, comedy, vulgarity - no problem. My moral principles are somewhat different from what is happening in the theater now, which is why I was objectionable. But I am incredibly grateful to both Oleg Pavlovich and my partners - Alexey Guskov, Andrey Myagkov . This is a big school for me!

— At the Moscow Art Theater they go mainly to Khabensky, Porechenkov, and everyone else...

- This is true. And I think the commercially correct move is to invite super popular actors to the theater. Although, for example, Konstantin’s wife, Olga Litvinova , amazingly played Ophelia in Hamlet when he was Claudius.

— Khabensky somehow quietly married Litvinova. Was their romance advertised in the theater?

- No no. Neither Kostya nor Olya work for the public, they do not put their personal things on display. And probably right. I'm happy for them. Litvinova helped Khabensky a lot, supported him after such a tragedy, simply pulled him out. He had deep psychological trauma. Olya has chosen a difficult path for herself, she is ready to be the wife of SUCH a man. After all, Kostya could choose any girl throughout the entire former Soviet Union, point his finger at any one, and she would go. But he chose her, Olya, which means she is close to him. God bless them!

For the actress, family is the most important thing (pictured with her son and husband)

- Well, how is it going with your husband? He is also a difficult comrade.

— My husband, Ilya Makarov , is the artistic director of the Phoenix Film studio. Director and producer. We met on the set of his film “Zhurov”. And three days later Ilya proposed to me. At that moment, we were both free, but we understood that we had to be together. With Ilya, everything is honest, out of love, I am very comfortable with him. My husband knows very well what an actor’s schedule is, what 12-hour shifts and long film expeditions are. It’s a pity that I didn’t have time to meet his mother - she passed away three months after Ilya and I met. She and I look very similar in appearance - we have a portrait of her at home. Apparently, this played some role.
