The Russian group "Reflex", whose composition has remained unchanged for a long time, is one of the most popular and sought-after groups. Melodious and popular music, along with soulful lyrics and beautiful soloists, has found millions of admirers throughout the post-Soviet space and abroad. The very first composition of the group "Reflex"
In the late nineties, domestic show business was replenished with more than a dozen groups. True, most of them lasted on stage for a few months. The exception is the Reflex group. It was formed in 1999. The leading soloist was Irina Nelson, known until that time as the singer Diana. Her husband and producer Vyacheslav Tyurin helped her in creating the team.
They hired Denis Davydovsky as a backup dancer, and Olga Kosheva as a backup singer. The music team existed in this format for just over two years. And already in 2002, the Reflex group changed its composition radically. The leading part still belongs to Irina, Alena Torganova is invited to perform backing vocals. In addition, DJ Silver joins the team.
History of creation
By the end of the 90s, the bright pop star Diana shone on the Olympus of show business. Northerner Irina Tereshina was hiding under a pseudonym. The singer delighted fans until 1998 and suddenly disappeared. It turned out that the girl was tired of the project, she quit the stage and went to Germany. Here she found personal happiness by marrying a Swede. However, the union did not last long, about a year, but the name of her husband Andreas Nelson remained with the actress forever.

In 1999, Irina Nelson again found herself in her homeland, where, together with musician Vyacheslav Tyurin, she came up with a new dance project. They looked for the name literally on the streets, reading signs and inscriptions. One day the word “Reflex” came across - that’s what we needed, the group’s authors decided. After all, from Latin it is translated as reflection. A reflection of the inner musical world sounds beautiful.

The producer made the right decision with changing part of the team. The update gave a new impetus to popularity. An important role was played by the external factor in the form of two charming and sexy blondes. The Reflex group, whose composition has undergone changes, releases its best hits and video clips, becoming popular not only on the domestic stage, but also abroad.
The group, according to surveys by leading agencies and the media, is one of the three best pop groups in Russia. Their hits occupy leading positions in the charts. Active concert activity begins in the CIS countries. Performers receive many prizes and awards. Among them:

“Reflex” quickly soared to the Olympus of pop music. Music lovers were captivated by the professionalism, coupled with the sex appeal of the participants and the soulful, new music of Tyurin on the Russian market. In 2001, the group achieved incredible popularity - the single “Go Crazy” reached first place in the Russian Radio chart within a week and was played on every radio station. Later, the team received the Golden Gramophone for the composition.

At the same time, the group began to conquer the international stage, going together with the Tatu team to the Cologne Pop Komm festival. The performance brought an acquaintance with DJ Paul van Dyck, since then the Russian group represented the German musician in his homeland and even oversaw the release of his new album.

With Irina Nelson’s return to her “native land” in 2012, the potential of “Reflex” began to sparkle with new facets. The song “I will be your sky” created a sensation among fans; the number of views of the video shot for it on YouTube reached more than three million in a couple of weeks.
A year later, this composition brought another Golden Gramophone. Reflex saw off 2015 with the ninth album “Grown Up Girls”, which became the last in the creative collection of a group consisting of several people.
Reboot
In 2007, the leading soloist of the group decided to develop a solo career and producing. A team that remains at the top of the charts for several years begins to lose popularity. Performances continue, new compositions and videos are created, but the effect from them is no longer the same.
In order to somehow change the situation, Vyacheslav Tyurin decides to rely on sex appeal, inviting two charming girls to replace DJ Silver. The beauties' names are Evgenia Malakhova and Nastya Studenkina. The composition of the Reflex group (old) is finally changing its format. The team has been performing in this configuration for about two years. Then Anastasia faces a choice between her singing career and her family. In 2009, she devoted herself to her husband and children, leaving the stage. The singer is replaced by Elena Maksimova, who after a couple of years chooses solo performances. Anna Baston joined the group in 2011, but the changes in the lineup did not end there.

Irina first appeared in Russian show business in the late 90s. At that time, few people knew that Siberian Irina Tereshina was behind the popular pop project “Diana”. Her songs were not distinguished by the depth of their lyrics, but were catchy and cheerful. In 1998, the girl decided to close the project and moved to Germany. There, Irina married a Swedish citizen, Andreas Nelson. Their marriage lasted less than a year, but the husband’s surname remained with the singer forever.

A year later, Ira returned to Russia and created the musical project “REFLEX” with Vyacheslav Tyurin. This pop group enjoyed enormous popularity in the late 90s and early 2000s.
