The singer's childhood and youth
The biography of Bujor Methodie began in the capital of Moldova, Chisinau. He was born in 1974, the boy grew up a tomboy and did not have a very obedient character. There were three more children in the family; my mother worked in medicine, and my father was an engineer. The singer is Moldovan by nationality, which is noticeable in the photo – black eyes and hair. A craving for music was discovered at the very beginning of his life. However, the mother disapproved of this and advised her son to choose a more mundane profession.
Therefore, after graduating from school, Metodie entered the Agricultural Academy and continued to sing in his spare time and develop his musical talent. Besides him, his brother loved to sing in the family, and when he was already in his last year at the Agricultural Academy, both brothers decided to enter a music university.
Methodology Bujor in his youth
The mother was categorically against her sons' choice. After both of them entered the music academy in Chisinau, she even turned to the rector with a request to expel them from the institution.
Fortunately, this request was not granted. The father, who also had singing talent in his youth, supported his sons.

Career
His activities began in 2000 with the New Opera troupe, where he was offered the role of Sparafucile in Verdi's Rigoletto. Since then, Bujor has sung as a recognized performer at the most famous venues in the world: the Mikhailovsky and Mariinsky theaters in St. Petersburg, as well as the opera in Germany.
He considers himself an international opera singer. After graduating from school, he entered the Academy of Music in the capital of Moldova. Then he worked in the theater in Moscow. In 2003, Methodie was invited to the Lipetsk Opera. Then he performed in productions of the Mikhailovsky Theater.
After that, he became closely involved in performing pop songs. For a long time Bujor could not decide on his professional direction and decided to give performances only on the stage. He participated in such TV shows as “The Voice”, “Two Stars”, and collaborated with various presenters. Soon he decided to part with opera and perform in a more popular format.
In subsequent years, he delighted audiences with his creativity at various venues in his beloved St. Petersburg. As a result of his growing popularity, a grandiose solo concert took place. Tickets were completely sold out. The concert was sold out on an incredible scale.
The artist auditioned and was selected to participate in the Russian version of The Voice, which was broadcast on Channel One, the largest television network in Russia, and was performed more than twelve times throughout the country. His breakthrough performances, demeanor and ability to captivate the judges and audiences added success to his already growing popularity.
After a blind audition, during the combat rounds, Bujor's coach, Russian composer Alexander Gradsky, could not decide which of the participants to choose to move on to the next round. Instead, he tossed a coin. It landed on tails and Bujor, who was one of the favorites to win, was eliminated.
He heard cries of outrage from the audience, and also saw strong support from the press and the Internet. Immediately after realizing how popular the artist had become, and seeing the potential for a bright future, Channel One of Russia invited him to take part in one of the most enchanting programs on Russian television, “Two Stars.”
Here a professional interacts with celebrities and teaches them how to sing. The show features no less than 12 duets. Volochkova turned out to be the famous partner of the opera singer. During the show, the artist revealed new abilities; his amazing timbre and captivating personality led the performer to enormous success. However, at one stage he dropped out of the “Two Stars” project.
“After difficult and difficult filming, I will probably leave the project. There are moments when one cannot remain indifferent,” he wrote. This experience was not in vain for the singer. He had the opportunity to interact with artists of different genres and had the opportunity to learn valuable experiences from them. But at some point I decided to completely change my mind.
During rehearsals for the show, the artist announced two more solo performances in the capital. Tickets for both were sold out in advance. Eclipse the performer begins a famous solo tour of Russian cities. Bujor's first solo album was released quite recently. He held concerts in the USA, England, China, Switzerland, and Spain. He also held a grand concert in St. Petersburg.
The festive program included works of opera classics. The performance was also attended by Moldovan fans of the performer. Joint photos of Methodie Bujor’s wife and children indicate that he achieved results not only in his career.
His work did not leave his admirers indifferent. “He is talented and friendly, an undeniable musician, he is certainly extraordinary,” said Russian artist Leonid Kanevsky. The Minister of Culture of Moldova told Methodie Bujor that she was waiting for him to give a concert in the capital. “I am glad that he is my compatriot, and I was delighted with the way his voice sounded, and this inspires confidence that the future of this artist is great. I advised him not to forget about his roots and, if possible, to return to his native places,” the minister said.
The performer wants to give a concert to his fans. “Of course, my most important concert, which should be in my destiny, is in my homeland. I hope that this will happen as soon as possible.”
This singer has a Greek name, he participated in the famous competition named after Elena Obraztsova and this performance was brilliant. This competition took place in St. Petersburg. Methodie has unusual vocal abilities; he has a unique voice timbre. So he was always welcome at the Mariinsky Theater. It is known that his wife is now the director of a children's institution.
The beginning of a creative career
After graduating from the Music Academy, Metodie went to Moscow, where he was hired at the New Opera Theater.
The artistic director of the theater, Evgeny Kolobov, trusted him with roles in operas:
- Gremina in the opera “Eugene Onegin”;
- Cecil in the opera "Mary Stuart";
- Aleko in Rachmaninov's opera "Aleko";
- Salieri in the opera "Mozart and Salieri" and others.
Methodie's debut in the theater was the role of Sparafucile in Verdi's Rigoletto. In 2001, the young singer was very lucky: he decided to take part in the competition of opera singers named after. E. Obraztsova, where he received first prize. After such a resounding success, Methodie was invited to the Mariinsky Theater.
Methodology at the beginning of a creative journey
But that’s not all: the young artist’s wonderful, velvety bass was noticed not only in the country, but also abroad. And in 2003, Methodie was invited to Germany. There he sang at the Leipzig Opera for three years.
The singer then returned to Russia, where he worked at the Mikhailovsky Opera and Ballet Theater in St. Petersburg.
He performed roles in operas:
- "Elisir of Love" by Donizetti;
- "Pagliacci" by Leoncavallo;
- "Rural Honor" by Mascagni et al.
Creation
After graduating from the Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts in Chisinau, Metodie began his creative career as a soloist at the Moscow New Opera Theater. A year later, having become the winner of the Elena Obraztsova competition, he got the opportunity to perform as a soloist in the famous Mariinsky Theater.
From 2004 to 2005, Methodie Bujor performed on the stage of the Opera House in Leipzig (Germany).
Since 2008, he has continued his career as an opera singer at the Mikhailovsky Opera and Ballet Theater in St. Petersburg. He performs parts in the plays: “Pagliacci”, “Rural Honor”, “Elisir of Love”. Premiere shows are a great success among opera lovers, and the name Methodie Bujor has long been familiar to theatergoers.
Methodie Bujor tours a lot. He performs on world opera stages. His performances are warmly received in China, the USA, England, France, Switzerland and other countries of the world.
Methodie Bujor is a laureate of international opera competitions in 2001, 2002 and 2004.
The creativity and biography of the Bujor Method were radically influenced by his acquaintance with the legend of Soviet song - Muslim Magomayev. This happened in 2007. The master admired the vocal abilities of Methodie Bujor. In turn, Metodie has a new direction in his work - now most of his repertoire consists of classical pop songs.
He became a frequent guest at various music festivals and concerts. In May 2012, he gave his first solo concert (as a pop performer) at the Oktyabrsky concert hall in St. Petersburg. After that, he gave two more solo concerts on the stage of this concert hall (at the end of 2012 and in March 2013).
His magical voice instantly wins the hearts of listeners. On the show “The Voice” in 2012, Metodie performed the song “Tell me, girls” and was appreciated not only by the audience, but by the judges. According to the results of the first round, he was included in Gradsky’s team. But at the next stage, the mentor had to make a choice between two contestants using the “coin” method. This time luck was not on Metodie’s side, and he dropped out of the project. Spectators unleashed a barrage of criticism against Gradsky, because Methodie Bujor was one of the main competitors who was predicted to win the competition.
In 2013, Methodie Bujor took part in the show “Two Stars”. His partner in the show was Anastasia Volochkova. Her vocal abilities turned out to be very weak, and the couple was unable to make it to the finals.
After participating in the show, Methodie Bujor went on a large tour of the cities of Russia and the Baltic states. He presented his fans with a new program “Memories”.
In 2020, in partnership with singer Jasmine, Metodie recorded a new song “Roads of Love”. The duet with Soso Pavliashvili was no less fruitful. The result of this union were two compositions: “My Brother” and “Time Without You”. The music for all these works was written by the Moldovan musician Valentin Uzun.
Meeting with Magomayev
The charm and musical talent of Bujor's method gave him the opportunity to become the winner of several international competitions: in Barcelona in 2001, in Romania in 2002, in Sarzana (Italy) in 2004. But the turning point in the singer’s biography was a meeting with a talented performer, Soviet pop star Muslim Magomayev. They met in 2007 thanks to another talented singer Elena Obraztsova.
Methodie is a fan of Muslim Magomayev
Muslim and Methodie met for the first time in their lives and spent several hours talking at the piano. After this, the young singer began to relate to the stage differently.
And then he decided to leave the opera stage altogether and devoted himself entirely to the stage. Methodie began to increasingly include songs in his repertoire that were performed by Muslim Magomayev.
In the photo of that time, you can see a change in the singer’s appearance: he cut off his black hair and began to wear a very short haircut; to put it simply, he became almost bald. But this made him even more impressive than before.
Bujor method on stage
Methodie began performing at various festivals and stages, not only in the country, but also abroad. He sang in the United States, Korea, Switzerland. Also evidence of his popularity was the singer’s performance at the Oktyabrsky concert hall in St. Petersburg.
Career turning point
But there are too many restrictions in the theater and the artist cannot realize himself to the fullest. Then, on the advice of Muslim Magomayev, Bujor goes to the stage. I met People's Artist Metodie thanks to E. Obraztsova in 2007. They talked for several hours and Metodie looked at the stage with different eyes. He decided to leave the opera and left the theater. He included Magomayev's songs in his repertoire.
Since 2009, the singer began performing at festivals and concerts in St. Petersburg. Participated in a program dedicated to the work of Muslim Magomayev. At this concert, Metodie amazed the audience with his talent. He was noticed and the media became interested. Fans began to appear.
Muslim Magomayev played an important role in the development of the singer
Amazing singing talent and natural charm helped Bujor win many international competitions: in 2011 in Barcelona, in 2002 in Romania, in 2004 in Italy. His work was appreciated: Methodie repeatedly became a laureate of many competitions. But in Russian competitions he failed to reach the finals.
Participation in the show "The Voice"
In 2012, Methodie Bujor decided to take part in a popular show on Channel One. It is not clear what prompted the singer to do this, because at that time he was already an established performer who had considerable popularity both in the country and abroad.
At the blind auditions, Methodie performed the romance “Tell, girls, to your girlfriend.” All the mentors turned to him, but he chose Gradsky’s team. His velvety timbre and wide range attracted the attention of his mentors and everyone immediately realized that in front of them was a real professional. Pelageya asked if his name was a pseudonym? To which I received the answer that the name Methodie is real. Bujor also captivated everyone in the studio with his charming smile and tactful manners.
The singer took part in the show “The Voice”
At one of the further stages, Gradsky had to choose between two performers: Evgeny Kungurov and Methodie. The mentor was confused, not knowing which of the two talents to keep. Then he did a strange thing: he took a coin and tossed it. The fate of the singers was decided by a random draw, which turned out to be in favor of Kungurov.
After Methodie dropped out, the audience and the press literally exploded with indignation due to Gradsky’s strange decision. Because many were confident that the singer would win this show.
Methodology Bujor: “I hope I didn’t disappoint...”1
And that coin, tossed by Gradsky, who was at a loss in choosing between the two favorites, still turned heads and not tails to Bujor, who was dropping out of the competition. He “flew up” like an eagle onto the stage of our Palace of Culture, captivating the audience with the power and beauty of his voice.
“Memories...” is in many ways a tribute to Muslim Magomayev, whom we met in 2007 thanks to the opera diva Elena Obraztsova. With some special instinct, Obraztsova recognized the similarity between Magomayev and Bujor: vocals, manner of communication, hairstyle, the way both behaved on stage... But by that time, Methodie, who had studied opera in different countries of the world, knew little about Magomayev... In each - intensity of emotions
“I worked in Germany for several years, after which I returned to St. Petersburg. Obraztsova, at that time the artistic director of the Mariinsky Theater, said that a new theater was opening where it would be interesting for me to work. That's exactly what happened. But after she left, the theater's plans changed. Obraztsova introduced me to Magomayev - our meeting was supposed to last 15 minutes, but lasted almost two hours. We played music, understanding each other perfectly. Muslim smoked a lot. Then he called several times and was interested in my work. I perceived his death as the loss of a loved one. In 2009, Tamara Sinyavskaya, an opera prima donna and the widow of Magomayev, invited me to the opening of the Concert Hall. M. Magomaev, then I found out that Magomaev had left me an enthusiastic review on his website. What I read allowed me to conclude that I have the right to perform songs from the repertoire of the great Muslim. And recently I had the opportunity to take part in the anniversary evening of Alexandra Pakhmutova - I performed Magomayev’s “Melody”,” said Methodie Bujor in an interview with the “Now” newspaper, which took place in the hospitable and tastefully decorated “Villa Ksenia” for Christmas.
The concert “Memories...” featured songs in Italian, Russian and Romanian. The method is subject to both the operatic repertoire and the classical stage. Whatever Bujor performs, it is always works with beautiful music and no less beautiful words. When such a symbiosis is saturated with the singer’s magnificent voice and artistic abilities, the result is a miracle that the audience applauds with all their hearts. A bonus is the ability to communicate with the public. Metodie gave white roses to the little girl sitting in the front row with the words: “You will be the most beautiful and happiest. When you grow up, they’ll give you more flowers than me!” And then to the boy sitting next to him: “Don’t get lost!” Our townswomen, presenting flowers, tried to kiss the charismatic Bujor, he sings too well! How gallant! And he’s not averse to joking: “There are a lot of people who sing without a voice, I’m one of those who sing without hair.” All this created the image of a very lively person, which was captivating.
The boujor performer does not whisper into the microphone about love, but declares it almost like an alarm bell. God gave such vocal abilities! As a result, the concert is perceived as a real hymn of Love. But there’s a different way to approach the songs: “Thank you for the songfulness of the city...”, “Between me and you is the hum of nothingness...”, “Blue Eternity (“The sea returned with the sound of seagulls...”), the music for which was written by Magomayev himself, “Ferris Wheel ", "Wedding" is simply impossible. Such songs cannot tolerate falsehood. Or “Melody” - a dedication to T. Sinyavskaya’s wife. Each song immerses you in feelings and experiences. Each one contains intense passions. Music frames the word
“I am Greek by mother,” Methodie said in an interview. - Mom's last name is Volajes. I was in Crete, where my ancestors come from. And on my father’s side I am a Moldovan Romanian. Methodia is a Greek name." He admitted that he has fans. According to the singer, these are intelligent women, never annoying or intrusive. “About 15 people follow me on tour. I call them a group of “buzhorinki”. The concert in Daugavpils has not yet ended, and photographs from it have already appeared on the Internet. It's nice. I generally enjoy the attention of women. Yesterday one Daugavpils woman gave flowers and managed to whisper in my ear that she loved me. I love my viewers too. What is acquired during a concert is something invisible, but very important. I look into the audience and read from their faces memories of youth, of the past, of the time from which the songs I sing came from. I was lucky - I managed to jump into the last carriage - I talked with Magomayev, Eduard Khil... I received from them the very seed that over time I managed to germinate within myself. I don’t copy the performances of the stars of the 60s–80s, but I reproduce them through the prism of time. I try to leave a piece of my heart on stage, as Eldar Ryazanov taught. You can't live in the past, but you can't forget it either. The golden fund of classical Soviet pop music must be used to the fullest - along with the highest musical culture, it also carries eternal moral values. Today there are few authors capable of writing such songs,” regretted Metodie.
Interestingly, the singer has friends originally from Daugavpils. These are Svetlana Stavitskaya and Vladimir Ushakov - both accordionists, currently living in St. Petersburg, playing in famous musical groups. Bujor believes that everyone has their own path destined from above. Nevertheless, Gradsky recalls the story with the coin with resentment, explaining: “There was more maturity in my interpretation of the song “Blue Eternity” (we are talking about the song duel between Buzhor and Kungurov). Gradsky saw this, but was afraid to take the liberty of making a decision.
When asked why many participants in the TV show “The Voice” find it more difficult to sing a Russian song, he answers: “If you translate from English, you will get very banal words. Whereas in a Russian song the main thing is the word. For such poets as Rozhdestvensky, Dobronravov, Yevtushenko, Okudzhava, the words themselves are a ready-made song. Western music helps the performer of the text, while Russian music frames the word.”
– Is “The Voice” a truly honest project in which there is no place for bribery? So you can get there solely through talent? The fact is that “The Voice,” which is being broadcast now, has raised some doubts...
– You yourself answered the question... At the beginning there is always a goal, but then it goes somewhere. I really want the moment to come for Russians when the West will take new Russian singers as reference points; Russia should not only be famous for Chaliapin! And today Stas Mikhailov is in demand. He dictates the taste of the public. It will probably take time for performers with a different standard to come. But as a singer, I am fully realized. I feel good in any country - I lived in Germany, France, Italy, Canada. But looking for happiness somewhere out there is wrong, happiness is inside you. It either exists or it doesn’t.
– Since we’re talking about happiness, I read that at concerts you often tell a parable about happiness. But Daugavpils was deprived of it. Fill the gap?
- This is the parable. Three brothers were walking and saw Happiness sitting in a deep hole. The eldest asked Happiness for money to become even richer, the middle one was beautiful, although he was already good-looking. Happiness fulfilled everyone's request. And the younger brother bent down and asked: “What do you need, Happiness?” “Get me out of here,” Happiness asked. The younger one reached out and pulled Happiness out of the hole, after which he turned and walked away. And Happiness quietly followed him...
- Instructive. How happy was your creative relationship with ballerina Anastasia Volochkova during the “Two Stars” project?
– I perceived this project (2013) as a combination of incompatible things. To begin with, I took songs from the repertoire of Joe Dassin. Volochkova arrived with a whole team: costume designers, a cook, etc. And she said: “This is irrelevant!” She suggested “White Roses”, which have defenseless thorns. Now it was my turn to refuse and be indignant. I felt sorry for Nastya, but I can’t help but admit that she is an extraordinary person. Be that as it may, we recorded 12 duets with her.
– Is it true that you proposed marriage an hour and a half after meeting your future wife? If yes, then Methodie Bujor is a passionate person. This is probably reflected in creativity.
- Yes, it was so. But I am more determined than passionate, although passion is present at certain moments. When I proposed to Natalya, I was completely convinced that this woman was the most beautiful and the wisest. In life we look in one direction. Today my wife is the director of the best kindergarten in the Krasnogvardeisky district of St. Petersburg, and before she was a singer. I come to this kindergarten to trim the trees on its territory; I give the most ordinary trees a certain decorative shape. And there is a reason for this: I should soon graduate from the Agrarian Institute, I’m going to defend myself in the spring, because everything must be completed. I also have a specialty as a cabinetmaker. With my own hands I made two iconostases for a church in Chisinau. My brother is an archpriest.
– You are simply a phenomenal person! What do you say goodbye to Daugavpils?
– This is my first time in your city, and I like it here, I hope to come again. The local audience is responsive in spirit, I was received very warmly. But here the organizer of the tour, Mrs. Zoya Vavilova, took a risk, because they didn’t know about me at all in Latvia. I hope I didn't disappoint. The winter holidays are ahead, may the coming new year change a lot for the better. Let men take care of their women, for whom I wish one thing - complete female happiness. Your Methodology Bujor.
Participation in the project “Two Stars”
After Methodie left the “Voice” project, he did not despair, but decided to take part in the famous show “Two Stars”. Everyone knows about the rules of this popular project - two famous personalities must create a singing duet, which will subsequently compete with others. In the end, the most talented duo must win.
Ballerina Anastasia Volochkova was paired with Methodie. But it turned out that her abilities in vocals are much more modest than in ballet. Therefore, the couple, unfortunately, did not make it to the finals. Anastasia loves to sing, but her voice is weak and quiet, although she sings clearly.
Methodology Bujor and Anastasia Volochkova
Of course, since this show takes into account the vocal abilities of both members of the duo, they were given an overall low rating. Methodie could not “pull out” Anastasia’s singing, although no one argues that he is a world-class singer.
Despite the failures in both shows, the singer’s rating and popularity increased noticeably after participating in them.
Personal life Methodie
In none of his interviews did Methodie talk about the women who were lucky enough to be in relationships with him. Therefore, fans are very interested in some moments from his life. Does the performer have a wife and children?
What is the nationality of the person with an unusual voice? How does he prefer to spend his free time? We tried to answer some questions, but, unfortunately, the performer is in no hurry to share the details of his personal life with the public.
In one of his interviews, the performer mentioned his wife, whose name is Natalya. She is also a public figure, but after meeting her future husband, she chose to devote all her time to her family. In 2020, a daughter was born into the family.
Hobbies
Methodie is not only interested in music, he also has other hobbies. He loves learning languages, is interested in biology and loves making figures.
It is about him that we can say - a creative person, creative in everything. He is able to cover the songs of oral performers, and the result is no worse than the original.
After participating in television projects, he gained fans. Now the whole world has learned about Methodie. But the musician admits that he is not going to stop there, because every person has something to grow in. It remains to wish the musician success in his endeavors!
Further activities
After participating in the show “Two Stars” in 2013, the singer decided to go on tour. He gave performances in 70 cities of Russia, and also visited the Baltic states. Everywhere he was greeted cordially, his performances were a great success.
Famous musician Methodie Bujor
Methodie repeated the concert trips in 2014. In 2020, Bujor collaborated with many composers and musicians. For example, with the Moldovan composer V. Uzun. Recently, the singer recorded songs with Jasmine, then with Soso Pavliashvili.

Artist biography
Metodie was born in June 1974. As a child, he did not sing very well; he was even advised to choose a different path for himself. But during his training, he suddenly developed a unique voice.
He decides to enter a music school. The mother tried to dissuade the child in every possible way; she believed that this was not his path. But Metodie, no matter what, decided to become a musician.
He met his wife Natalya in St. Petersburg. The girl also performed, and their meeting took place at one of the concerts.
Methodie admitted that it was love at first sight, and the man did not delay marriage. In 2020, their family welcomed their first child. Methodie admitted in one of his interviews that he would not mind if his daughter followed in his footsteps.
Hobbies Methodie
The singer is an excellent cook. It's hard to say what he does better - sings or cooks. Previously, he gave preference to preparing only Moldavian dishes: mamaliga, cabbage rolls, placenta. Now he likes what is beautiful and useful. The kitchen should provide moral and aesthetic pleasure.
In addition, the singer enjoys woodcarving, landscape design, biology and sculpture. He is interested in learning foreign languages.
Methodie Bujor, whose biography originates in Chisinau, was born into a large family on June 9, 1974. His mother was a doctor, and his father was an engineer-inventor. In addition to Methodie, the parents raised three more boys. One of them became a priest.
According to the singer, he was a tomboy as a child and remained the same when he grew up. He always sang, but at first it turned out badly, so his friends advised Methodie to stop doing it. The young man started singing “like an adult” in his fourth year at the Agricultural Academy, when he turned 21. On the advice of a friend, Metodie and one of the brothers, who also had a good voice, entered the music academy.
The mother, who considered the artist’s profession frivolous, reacted negatively to her sons’ choice and even turned to the management of the institution with a request to expel them. In her dreams, she saw Methodie as the chairman of the collective farm. The father, who also loved to sing in his youth, on the contrary, supported his son’s decision.
Bujor began his career at the New Opera Theater. He was entrusted with performing parts from popular works, among which was the romance of a gypsy in love from Oleg Rachmaninov’s “Aleko.” In 2001, the guy entered the St. Petersburg competition of People's Artist of the USSR Elena Obraztsova and took first place.
The young singer was invited to the Academy of Young Opera Singers of the Mariinsky Theater. At the same time, he was noticed abroad, and already in 2003 he left for Germany, where he sang on the stage of the Leipzig Opera for two years. In 2008, his photo hung in the Mikhailovsky Opera and Ballet Theater, where he was briefly a soloist.
Methodie copes well with both opera arias and pop songs. Since in the theater, due to the large number of restrictions invented by the director and conductor, there was no opportunity to fully realize oneself, in 2009 the singer switched to the stage. Bujor was pushed to this by Muslim Magamaev, who also did not tolerate any boundaries.
Method met the talented Soviet performer, who became a role model for the singer, in 2007 thanks to Elena Obraztsova. Both were delighted to meet each other and spent about two hours together at the piano. Later, Bujor included Muslim’s songs in his pop repertoire and performed them not only on the stage of the St. Petersburg Oktyabrsky Concert Hall and other concert halls in Russia, but also abroad: in Switzerland, China, the USA and other countries.
In 2012, the Chisinau resident participated in the “Voice” show, and in 2013, viewers saw Bujor together with Anastasia Volochkova in the “Two Stars” program. Although the singer failed to reach the final both times, the projects contributed to the growth of his popularity.
Methodie is the winner of four international opera competitions held in 2001-2004. in Italy, Russia, Romania, Spain. He himself writes poetry for songs and, perhaps, someday will begin to compose music, since he completed his elective course in composition.
Bujor met his future wife, Natasha, when he came to St. Petersburg for two days for a competition. The girl, who was studying vocals, wanted to congratulate the singer on a brilliant performance and came to him backstage. One glance was enough for the young man to fall in love, and he made the decision to get married after one walk around the city. She listened to him carefully and understood him perfectly.
In her youth, her wife also planned to make a career as a singer, but abandoned it for the sake of personal happiness. Someone needs to stay home while they travel. After the wedding, he moved to live in St. Petersburg.
According to Methodie Bujor, personal life should not be stormy. So his family consisted of five men and one woman; as a child, he learned to treat the weaker sex with care. In January 2020, Bujor encouraged his wife in the maternity hospital. When daughter Katya was finally born.
The performer is not going to stop at one child and hopes that other children will be born in the family in the future.
Personal life
Many fans of Methodie Bujor are extremely interested in his personal life as part of his biography. Although he prefers not to make his relationship public, some details about him have become known to the media.
Methodie is married to his fan, who came backstage at one of his performances to congratulate him. Bujor turned out to be a very romantic man and realized that he was in love at first sight. The celebrity's chosen one is Natalya, and at that time she was studying as a student with the pianist who accompanied Methodie.
After the fateful meeting took place backstage, Metodie took the girl’s phone and called her to set up a date. However, she turned out to be very busy at that time and was forced to refuse him. When Bujor already had a ticket to fly out of the city, Natalya unexpectedly called him and offered him a walk, during which she was going to show him the city. The young man returned his ticket, canceled the flight and went to the meeting.
Metodie’s marriage proposal to his chosen one came immediately - on this first date. The girl turned out to be no less romantic and agreed. The lovers got married a week later.
In the photos that are periodically published in the press, fans want to follow the moments of Methodie Bujor’s biography, where he is captured with his wife and children. At the moment, he has one child - a daughter, who was born in 2020. Her parents named her Catherine and nicknamed her “God's Grace” because the girl was born before Christmas.
Natalya, Bujor's wife, works as the director of one of the St. Petersburg kindergartens. At one time, she received training as a singer, but decided not to put it into practice in order to be able to devote more time to her family.
Biography
Methodie Bujor was born on June 9, 1974 in the capital of Moldova - the city of Chisinau. His name Methodie is a variant of the name Methodius, and his surname Bujor, translated from Moldavian, means peony.
The future singer’s mother was a medical worker, and his father was an engineer. Three more children were growing up in the family. Methodie Bujor was the second child. Metodie developed an interest in music as a child, but his parents chose not to take it seriously. On the contrary, the mother advised her son to choose a more “reliable” profession.
That is why Metodie and his brother received their first higher education at the Agricultural Academy. But the craving for music overpowered, and the brothers decided to continue their education at the music academy. The father, unlike the mother, supported his sons’ idea. He also had unique vocal abilities and loved to sing, but he was unable to obtain a professional musical education. Therefore, he wished his sons to achieve their goals.
In the biography of Methodie Bujor, in addition to music, there is also room for sculpture, painting, and swimming. Methodie knows five languages perfectly. This became a necessity, since, performing parts in different languages, the singer did not want to perform them thoughtlessly, but to understand what needed to be conveyed to the listeners.
