Biography
In her youth, Naomi Watts often heard “Not beautiful” and “Not sexy” addressed to her. And then she starred in the neo-noir film Mulholland Drive, which received three dozen awards, the incredibly realistic film King Kong and the drama 21 Grams, which brought an Oscar nomination. Another chance to get the coveted statuette and the Golden Globe came with the film “The Impossible.”

Thanks to her talent, she achieved incredible success in cinema, gaining worldwide fame and a multimillion-dollar army of fans. This only happened when Naomi was over 30, which is late by Hollywood standards, and happiness in her personal life came at the age of 40. But the actress is not offended by fate, because she follows her mother’s advice:
“Live an interesting life, which means do what you want.”
Nutrition
The famous Hollywood actress is confident that nutrition is one of the main components of health and beauty. Naomi Watts recommends not focusing on diets that only harm your health, but eating a varied and healthy diet.

The actress advises cooking healthy meals at home more often, but it’s better to forget about instant foods. Also, do not forget about water balance and drink enough water per day. And, of course, healthy sleep is necessary for every girl who wants to look at 49 just like the beautiful Naomi.
Childhood and youth
Naomi Watts was born in the town of Shoreham, located in the English county of Kent. Myfannwy Roberts, the mother of the future film actress, was engaged in buying and selling antiques. Father Peter Watts at the time of his daughter’s birth worked as the manager of the then just beginning rock band Pink Floyd. Naomi has a 2-year older brother, Benjamin, who later became a fashion photographer in the UK.
When the girl was 4 years old, her parents divorced, and 3 years later Peter Watts died of a drug overdose. Myfannwy and her two children tried to gain a foothold in the cities of the Kingdom, taking on almost any available job. But after some time, the woman decides to return to Australia, where she was from.

The theater stage attracted little Naomi from early childhood. The girl saw the performances of her mother, who played in amateur productions, and tried to appear on stage herself in school plays. In Australia, Watts began attending a theater studio and acting classes, and later went to various castings and auditions.
Having not received a single serious role by the age of 18, the girl signs a contract with a modeling agency and goes to work in Japan. It took Naomi a year to realize that she actually wanted to do something else. While working as a reporter for a fashion magazine, Watts continued to knock on the doors of film studios. Her experience as a fashion model allowed her to appear on TV screens.
Inventions by Naomi Wu (SexyCeborg)
Naomi made her first loud statement about herself in 2020. Then she revealed to the world her first great invention - a skirt with LED lighting on the inside. This unusual development began to be actively discussed by users on Reddit.

The furor that the first invention caused brought the young, beautiful and brilliant inventor unprecedented popularity in her homeland. However, there were also those who doubted that Naomi was the real creator of her cyber outfits. They believed that SexyCyborg was a well-thought-out entity with an entire development department behind it. In one of her interviews, Wu said that she knew about the rumors that were circulating about her, and even tried to refute them in one of her videos. But many still did not believe the attractive model... To which she said:
However, no one has been able to find evidence that Naomi is just a well-thought-out advertisement. Therefore, there was nothing left to do but accept the fact that a charming, young girl with a model appearance was capable of creating such grandiose creations.
Corset with illuminated bust
Not long ago, Naomi Wu revealed to the world that silicone breasts begin to glow if you shine a light on them. This gave her a new cyberpunk idea. She invented a corset with a light up at the bottom of her chest, causing her breasts to glow red.

Naomi Wu's latest innovative invention is glowing shoes. It would seem that what is so unusual here, brands have long been known to make illuminated shoes. But only Naomi's shoes have a Wi-Fi hacking function. It would seem, how is this even possible? And the young inventor did it.

Movies
Naomi Watts' first appearance in a movie was during the continuation of the melodramatic series Return to Eden, where the actress played without words, posing in a swimsuit in front of the camera of one of the film's characters. At the same time, the girl managed to get a small role in the historical film “Only for Love.” Later, she had roles in the series “Brides of Christ” and the melodrama “Flirting”, as well as minor characters in the drama “The Boundless Sargasso Sea”, the film “Watchman” and the thriller “Immoral Behavior”.

Watts decides that it will be more difficult to come to the fore in Australia than in Hollywood, and goes to the USA. Naomi’s first American project was the comedy “The Afternoon,” but neither this nor the next 20 films made the girl recognizable. From that period in the actress's career, the dystopian film Tank Girl, the horror film Children of the Corn 4: Harvest, the melodrama The Honest Courtesan and the fantastic comedy Alien Planet are highlighted. In these films, Watts at least played the leading roles.
A turning point in her career occurred in 2001, when David Lynch's psychological thriller Mulholland Drive was released, in which Naomi Watts played the main role. For this she received the Chicago Film Critics Association Award, the Online Film Critics Society Award for Breakthrough of the Year, and was also nominated for first prize from the American Film Institute.

The director dedicated the film to Jennifer Syme, a close friend of Keanu Reeves and the failed mother of their common child. Syme is also involved in the tragicomedy “Ellie Parker”, in which Naomi acted as a producer and performer in the leading role, and in the frame there are references to the film “Mulholland Drive”.
As a producer, the actress also worked on the projects “We Don’t Live Here Anymore,” “The Painted Veil,” “Funny Games,” “The Last Impresario,” “Three Generations” and “Secret Attraction.” In the latter, Watts was accompanied on the set by Robin Wright.
Naomi was entrusted with the main characters in the horror film "Elevator" with James Marshall, the psychological thriller "The Ring", the black comedy "Four Funerals and a Wedding", the crime action film about the national hero of Australia "The Kelly Gang" with Heath Ledger and Orlando Bloom.
Naomi Watts and Sean Penn (still from the movie “21 Grams”)
In 2003, the drama 21 Grams premiered, for which Watts received the Audience Award at the Venice Film Festival and was nominated for an Oscar, Sputnik, BAFTA and Critics' Choice Movie Awards. The actress's partners Sean Penn and Benicio Del Toro took their share of the awards.
This was followed by leading roles in the biographical drama “Kill the President. The assassination attempt on Richard Nixon,” the melodrama “You Will Meet a Mysterious Stranger,” and the thriller “Stay.” In 2005, together with Adrien Brody and Tom Hanks' son Colin, the celebrity starred in the cult fantasy action film King Kong. Film academics and critics paid tribute to the film’s visual effects, and Naomi was personally awarded the Saturn Award and the title of “Best Actress” from the English film magazine Empire.

The name Watts appears in the credits of the thriller “Vice for Export” about the dark affairs of the Russian mafia in London, the political action film “International” about the underground arms trade, the drama “Game without Rules” about the exposure of a CIA agent, the biopic about the English princess “Diana: A Love Story” . She agreed to play the “queen of hearts” after much hesitation and reflection:
“I was captivated by the idea of the film; it is truly a great love story. I love playing complex women, full of contradictions, and Diana was just that and more. She could appear strong and rebellious, but she could also be mocking, flirtatious, mischievous and very sensible. I find it interesting to watch these female character traits on screen. And in real life there are many of my friends like that.”
The film "J. Edgar,” in which the actress starred with Leonardo DiCaprio and Judi Dench, is also dedicated to a real person – FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover. For her role as Maria Bennett in the dramatic thriller The Impossible, Naomi was nominated for an Oscar for the second time. This film about the devastating 2004 tsunami in Southeast Asia is called the most notable in the actress’s cinematic biography.

In 2015, Naomi joined the cast of the dystopian film Divergent Chapter 2: Insurgent, which received mostly negative reviews. The drama “Sea of Trees,” in which the actress played the wife of Matthew McConaughey’s hero, who decided to commit suicide, did not please viewers and experts. The black comedy "Birdman", on the contrary, is recognized as one of the best films and was awarded 4 Oscars and 2 Golden Globes.
In 2020, Naomi took part in the filming of the film Locked Down. The actress starred naked in the psychological thriller, playing the main role. According to the plot, Watts’s heroine is a child psychologist, a widow living in solitude.
During a winter storm, a woman has to save a boy who is in mortal danger. After completing her work, in an interview with The Daily Mail, Watts admitted that it was difficult for her to see herself on screen. Years pass before she watches films with her participation, returning to the forgotten acting experience.
Naomi Watts (still from the series “Gypsy”)
In 2020, several films starring celebrities were released on television. The most notable of them is the series “Gypsy”. In season 1, the heroine Naomi Watts works as a psychotherapist, but cannot find a common language with her husband and daughter, however, she easily communicates with the relatives of her patients. This film also stars Billy Crudup and Sophie Cookson.
Naomi Watts also took part in the filming of Twin Peaks. This legendary mystical film, directed by David Lynch, was first seen by the public in 1990. Fans said that their favorite was surprised by the passing role of a Las Vegas resident, because the actress had previously ignored such projects.
Naomi Watts: “I’m my husband’s first adult crush”
The queen of remakes and a two-time Oscar nominee, Nicole Kidman's best friend and the mysterious lover of the deceased Heath Ledger, a true Englishwoman and a true Australian - who is Naomi Watts?
— Naomi, good afternoon! The Australians sincerely consider you one of their own, as do the British. Put an end to this confrontation between nations, please..
- (Laughs.) I'm from England. Born in Kent. When I was four years old, my mother, brother and I moved to Australia.
— Dramatic changes in the life of the family. Because of which?
— It all started out banal: mom and dad divorced. I was just a baby, I don’t remember much, I only know that my father worked with the Pink Floyd group and was their sound engineer. Of course, with all that it implies - a nomadic lifestyle, rock and roll in full swing. When my parents separated, my dad died of an overdose some time later. Well, mom... mom always loved bad boys. She even remarried. My grandparents were worried about the fate of Ben and me (Naomi has a brother, Benjamin Watts, a famous photographer. - Author's note). In the end, my mother and grandmother decided that it was time for the family to reunite. I was fourteen when we left England.
— You had to go through a move during not the easiest period of your life - adolescence. Didn't your relationship with your mother or brother deteriorate because of this?
“We always had a warm, wonderful relationship with Ben. As for my mother... Sometimes I felt very sad. But I have never lacked love. My mother is a person prone to demonstrative behavior, with a difficult fate, but at the same time sincerely loving and gentle.
— They say it was thanks to Mrs. Watts that you became an actress?
“She gave me my first drama lessons, that’s true.” I will forever remember my impression when I saw my mother on stage. Well, then she started studying with me - we just moved then, at fourteen. Now it seems that this was her way of coping with my difficult age and at least a little distracting me from youthful problems and difficulties.

- That is, you are one of those who from the very beginning knew where and why they were going, and moved in a strictly given direction...
- But they didn’t guess right. Our childhood games with my mother didn’t lead me anywhere, and for a while I forgot about acting. I tried to become a model and even went to Japan for this purpose. Worst experience I've ever had! Since then, I have developed a fear of cameras and crowds - can you imagine? How did I even start filming with such a phobia?
- Really, how?
— Between the careers of a model and an actress, there was also a short moment in journalism - she worked as an editor of a fashion magazine. I worked hard, but I felt that I had not gone where I wanted to go. And at some party, a director I knew invited me to come to the audition for the film “Flirting” - the same one with Nicole Kidman. Then it seemed to me that this was all, you know, drunken conversations and promises about nothing. But I still showed up for the audition. Since then, Nicole has been my best friend. Well, acting is my profession.
— I know that then, in the early nineties, you were offered to become the star of some Australian TV series. But you refused. Brave for an aspiring actress!
- Rather naive. (Laughs.) Everyone, literally everyone, said that I was crazy. But I felt with my great young instinct (smiles) that if I agreed to this, I would be stuck in the soap for two or three years and say goodbye to my reputation as a serious artist. And she decided to do something even more naive and desperate - she went to Hollywood.
— It’s surprising, because your heroine Betty from Mulholland Drive, directed by David Lynch, does the same thing. Tossing and tormenting, trying to become an actress...
“People around me constantly remind me of this, although I don’t pay attention to these mysterious and sometimes mystical coincidences. You know that I've been driving down Mulholland Drive for almost ten years, trying to relieve the stress of unsuccessful auditions or failed auditions? For almost ten years nothing worked out for me, and then Mr. Lynch glorifies me with his film with such a telling title!

— Do I understand correctly that from Australia to Hollywood you were essentially leaving for nowhere?
“I was young and naive, they promised me a lot, and, as you remember, one such promise has already worked. It seemed to me that the world was waiting for me. I sincerely believed in all the flattery that was poured on me. But when I burst into Los Angeles, full of hope, the City of Angels greeted me more than coldly. Those who called turned out to be not so interested in me.
- But still you decided to stay...
“I knew that Australia would accept me, I had somewhere to return, but I couldn’t betray myself and my dream. But I paid for this decision with several years of my possibly happy life - days dragged on, I went to auditions like going to work, poured my soul into it over and over again, received refusals and became more and more immersed in some kind of trance, or something. David Lynch helped me come out of my shell. Just imagine - years of failure and collapse. My spirit was broken, my hopes were long gone. I worked hard on films that I didn't like. I lived in Hollywood, the most surreal place in the world that robs your soul, seriously. In short, my mental and physical state at the time of the meeting with Lynch was far from ideal.
— They say that David Lynch is one of the most difficult and difficult directors to communicate with. Did you feel it?
- What nonsense! He is the most sensitive and subtle person I have ever met. He saw his reflection in me, he was inspired by me. He made it clear that everything was fine with me - with my doubts, torment, dissatisfaction with life, restlessness, loneliness. With him, I realized that the time for pretending and hiding had passed. He is an artist, he knows that creativity and humor, sexuality and strength come from the darkest and scariest corners of our soul. I had this in abundance. He was able to look at me for what I had become over the years in the USA.
For her role in the horror film "The Ring", remade based on the Japanese film, Watts was called the queen of remakes
Still from the film
— They say you and Lynch have a special connection. Sorry if I remind you of these rumors, but immediately after the release of “Mulholland Drive” you were even registered as a lover...
- He is my great friend, my guardian, teacher, the one who made me me. These guesses always made us laugh; we loved to laugh heartily at another article about our supposed romantic relationship. But I can’t speak for him at all. Lynch is a very secretive person who believes in all signs and superstitions.
— You know that, according to a recent survey, “M. D." recognized as the best film of the 21st century?
- Yes, and I was touched by this fact. Let it pass - how long is there? - sixteen (wow!) years old, I'm still proud to have been part of this amazing adventure. To play two people at once within one role—isn’t this what all artists dream of? Some people don't receive such lavish gifts in their entire career.
— It is clear that your meeting with Lynch had a huge impact on your career, and life in general. Were there other fateful people in your life?
- Of course, this is Nicole (Kidman. - Author's note). Now it’s easy to talk about it and even a little funny, but then, before Lynch and Mulholland Drive, I seriously had thoughts of suicide - I was so “eaten” by Hollywood. And only she was there and constantly insisted that I needed to be patient and wait for that very role, my role, which would change everything. Thanks to her care and concern, I still waited.
In The Painted Veil, Naomi formed a wonderful tandem with her colleague Edward Norton
Still from the film
— Did the difficult period break you? Did you change it?
- As for my legendary naivety and gullibility, then, apparently, nothing can correct me. And it seems to me that it’s better this way than the other way around. It happens that people tell me a story, and I listen with open ears and exclaim: “What, really?” And then they laugh at me, announcing the joke. You can sell me anything like that. (Laughs.) As for some other changes... Only now, on the eve of my fiftieth birthday, have I finally found peace and harmony with myself. I allowed myself to just be. Previously, I was dissatisfied with my career at first, and after success and recognition I began to blame it on... my appearance!
- Seriously? You?
“Apparently, a negative program was simply active in me, nothing less.” You had to always be on the dark side. By the way, before success, my agent passed on some comments to me about me - either I was nice, but not too beautiful, or beautiful, but not very sexy. For a long time I had no time for this, but when my career took shape, I finally began to pay attention to the “not so” appearance - and this was another stage of struggling with myself, persuading myself. It’s good that at least it didn’t drag on for ten years!
- How can you even play, being so... tormented, exhausted?
- It’s more difficult than being happy. “Mulholland” happened at a turning point, and then it was as if I began to truly live. And I began to gradually learn to be happy. Although you know... My mother once told me, persuading me not to quit acting: “You should definitely be interested! Otherwise, it’s boring to work, boring to live. Don't leave Hollywood." These are very wise words! We don’t have to be happy every moment, we don’t have to feel guilty if we don’t sparkle with joy every moment, but we just need excitement and interest in life and in the business that takes up most of this life. Otherwise, there is no point in acting.
— The feeling that only now you have stopped the exhausting and endless struggle with yourself. Am I thinking right?
“Perhaps yes, it’s been about five years since I calmed down a little.” And before that, my life resembled rounds, battles, and every time I lost and withstood these losses, my account was reset to zero.
— Speaking of rounds. The film about the boxer "Bloodletter", which was released quite recently, is notable for several aspects...
“Let me guess: first of all, I don’t look like myself.” Well, shooting together with my husband Liev Schreiber, right?
Naomi has been happy with her husband Liev Schreiber for thirteen years. The couple now has two sons
Photo: Rex Features/Fotodom.ru
- Absolutely! Firstly, you really played a somewhat unexpected role. Are you into boxing?
“I’m far from violence, I don’t even eat meat.” But I completely share men’s love for this cruel but strong sport. My older brother was a kickboxer for a while and competed when we lived in Australia. But despite the acceptance of boxing, it was really difficult to sit back and not jump into the ring trying to protect the one you love.
- Yes? And your husband said that you liked watching the scenes where he was beaten (Liev Schreiber played the main role of boxer Chuck Wepner. - Author's note).
- He said that, didn’t he? (Upset.)
- It's a joke.
- And I believed it! In fact, I was not on the set; all these episodes were filmed in Bulgaria. But Liev simply amazed me - strong scenes!
— Don’t you think that the sports industry is somewhat similar to the film industry? There is a story, a plot...
- Battles! And even if we don’t take physical blows, how many metaphorical ones have we endured and withstood!
— Was it difficult to play love with someone with whom you have been living together for thirteen years?
“He and I played a completely different type of intimacy, different from our usual one. But it's definitely a bit of a challenge. Remembering the experience of Nick (Nicole Kidman - author's note), who broke up with Cruise after filming together, we tried very hard not to turn work into an arena for clarifying personal issues. Surprisingly, I’m nervous and embarrassed to play in front of my native Liev. Obviously, because he doesn’t know me as an actress, but simply as a wife and mother of his children. He knows me inside and out, and it's very difficult to go beyond pretending and start really playing. But ultimately, I can say with confidence that I would repeat this experience! It’s just that I was very worried for fifty percent of our filming time, so I couldn’t fully experience the thrill of collaborating with my husband.
“I am my husband’s first adult love. We walked past each other for a long time, simply not noticing, and one day we met and never parted,” says Watts
Photo: Instagram.com/naomiwatts
— Is Liev the hero of your first serious novel?
- Yes, and I am his first “adult” love. We walked past each other for a long time, simply without noticing, between mutual acquaintances and friends. They actively tried to bring us together, push us together, match us, but it turned out as it happened - one day we just met, and that’s it, we never parted. It happened so naturally, so smoothly, so right.
— And yet you are called a late Hollywood flower...
And it doesn’t offend me at all. Everything happened to me when it was supposed to happen. It seems that my life began at thirty, as if someone pressed the “start” button and everything started spinning. Late career, late children - yes. Although for whom are they late? Just right for me.
- Today you are not just an actress who has five premieres per season - you are the mother of two sons. Traditional question: how do A-list stars manage to balance work and personal life?
- Honestly? No way. How can you balance? You just have time and you make the best of it, do the best you can, give it your all. By the way, I’m sure that men are much better at, so to speak, dividing and conquering. On weekdays I have to use the services of a nanny, but I devote every free minute to my sons. I love cooking for them, even though New York, where we've lived for the last few years, is a takeout city. But you have to admit, there is something cozy, nostalgic, and warm about baking a delicious chicken and potatoes with your kids. This is so in English. The roots spoke within me. (Laughs.)
— How to accept your gradual aging when you are a star, an actress, and your face is your calling card?
- Relax. Not a single good thing has happened to us as a result of pointless tension. Look at the Parisians! They have some kind of inner source of strength, an elegance that is not subject to age. Accept the natural course of time, feel it, give in to it and be sure that everything that happens is correct, as it should be.
- Okay, Naomi, but do you really have no so-called beauty secrets at all and all you do with your face and body is just relax?
- Well, I have a certain set of actions, but it’s hard to call it secrets. The obvious things: drinking enough water per day, getting enough sleep, a good moisturizer and an effective cleanser at night.
“It seems that my life began at thirty, as if someone pressed the “start” button and everything started spinning. Late career, late children - yes. Although for whom are they late? Just right for me,” Naomi is sure
Photo: Instagram.com/naomiwatts
- What about sports? At past red carpets, you captivated journalists with your cleavage and tight-fitting dresses.
— I don’t like to study alone. Perhaps the exception is a bicycle, but when you pedal in the park, it’s difficult to be alone. I love yoga and Pilates. And lately I’ve become fascinated by a purely New York theme - intensive dance to deafening music. From the outside it probably looks stupid, but it’s terribly fun! I've also been laughing all the time lately. Wrinkles around my eyes don’t scare me and my face always lights up with a stupid smile, and this really makes you look younger! In fact, now I’m not very worried about being forty-eight years old.
- Where does this philosophical attitude towards age come from?
“It’s all from the same place—from my glorious period of failure.” Because I only recently discovered happiness.
— It turns out that in real life you are completely different from most of your heroines...
— For some reason this frustrates everyone (Laughs). Yes, I am not the gloomy and dark woman who usually appears on screens. Like every person, I have a lot of demons - and through acting I release them. Still, it’s better that they find a way out, right? Today I can call myself an optimist and even a laugher. Although directors don’t think about me in this way, they find me “not funny.”
— By the way, do you have any plans to conquer the comedy genre?
— Let's be honest: at my age it is almost impossible to find and get good roles in this path. So I need to be a pretty young girl, a classic young lady from rom-coms. Although... I started from scratch so many times! Why not try it now?
Personal life
Naomi Watts has had many star-studded romances. The British and Australian press have repeatedly reported that the actress has a romantic relationship with director Stephen Hopkins and actor Heath Ledger. It is also known that for a short time she dated screenwriter Jeff Smingi and director Daniel Kirby, whom she met on the set.

In 2005, Naomi Watts met colleague Liev Schreiber. The star couple soon began to live in a civil marriage. Sons Alexander Pete and Samuel Kai appeared, but the parents never formalized the relationship. In September 2020, Watts and Schreiber separated. The celebrities said that separation would be the best decision for their family, since they do not see a further future together.
“With great love, friendship and respect in our hearts, we are going to continue raising children together, moving into a new phase of our relationship,” Naomi and Liv told the media.

Naomi Watts's best friend is Nicole Kidman. The women met back in Australia at a casting, when both were unknown aspiring actresses. Tom Cruise's ex-wife was the first to achieve success and helped Naomi in every possible way - she negotiated with agents, convinced directors to try her good friend for the role, and while going through a difficult divorce, she lived at her house. Watts believes that Kidman has exceptional looks and is the best tragic actress of a generation.
Naomi, an attractive blonde with a graceful figure (height 165 cm, weight 51 kg), is always the center of attention. Fans, hoping to see Watts naked, often discuss new photos of their idol on Instagram, but the movie star does not indulge fans with such photos.
NAOMI WATTS PERSONAL LIFE: WHO IS THE BOSS OF THE HOUSE?
Naomi spent last summer with her husband, actor Liev Schreiber, and two sons in Los Angeles. In fact, their permanent place of residence is New York, and the family visited the house that the actress bought for herself only for work needs. Like in the spring of 2013, when Liv was offered the main role in the crime series “Ray Donovan.” It seems to be good, but everything did not work out from the very beginning. When Naomi complained that she was sad and uncomfortable in Los Angeles, she had no doubt that her husband would understand her. Liv hated this city - to such an extent that eight years ago, confessing his love to her, he said: “I’m crazy about you, but I’m unlikely to be able to live here.” Do you mind if we go to New York with me? Naomi did not scream and be indignant, but quietly packed her things, rented out the house and went to get used to her new life. Now she had to leave her established life, her established circle of friends and take the opposite route. While Liv was filming, she sat with the children in the city, which had become a stranger to her, feeling pushed to the margins of life. The success of the first episodes of Ray Donovan, which aired in June, left her in despair. This meant that their stay in Los Angeles would be prolonged... Naomi tried to convey her feelings to Liv as delicately as possible, but his answer left her confused. - Maybe it would be more convenient for you to have a loser husband? I’m not complaining that I spent three years with the children while you worked non-stop. It's your turn. You are a mother first and foremost, and an actress second. I won’t let you die of hunger, but there must be a limit to any ambition, especially a woman’s. Alas, conversations on the topic “who’s the boss” happened much more often than Naomi would like. At first she took this for professional jealousy of a good second-tier actor for his wife’s star status. But should she really feel guilty that Liv is not so in demand? As a result, they lived from crisis to crisis, constantly balancing on the brink of rupture. “He is a very complex person,” the actress said in an interview. “But that’s what always attracted me to men.” Indeed, she liked Liv so much from the very beginning that Naomi went against all the rules and practically forced him to pay attention to herself.
Naomi Watts now
In mid-2020, filming began on the dramatic film “Once Upon a Time on Staten Island,” the plot of which is about a teenager who is a fan of the film “Rocky III” with Sylvester Stallone. Naomi Watts and Frank Grillo play the boy's parents. The director was James DeMonaco, creator of the famous thriller “The Purge” starring Lena Headey.
Naomi Watts and Kelvin Harrison Jr. (still from the movie "Luce")
Naomi played another family in an ensemble with Tim Roth in the film “Luce”. This is the name of a black teenager whom the couple adopted when he was very young. The young man pleased with his school grades and exemplary behavior, until one day it turned out that he was prone to racial radicalism. The film was presented at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival.
In Joe Carnahan's fantasy action film The Last Level, the actress again stars with Grillo, as well as Mel Gibson and Michelle Yeoh. The film tells the story of a retired special forces soldier who repeatedly finds himself in a time loop in which he experiences his own death.

The actress is currently working on a spin-off of the cult series “Game of Thrones” called “The Long Night.” The new fantasy has the same showrunner as the original, George R.R. Martin, and strong producing support in the person of Jane Goldman. Behind her are the X-Men and Kingsman franchises. The plot of the film is still kept secret, but it is known that the action takes place a thousand years before the events of Game of Thrones. The project may add to Watts’ filmography in 2020.
On television, the biopic “The Loudest Voice in the Room” is about to be released. The main character is former Fox News Channel CEO Roger Ailes, who was fired after being accused of harassment. In this role, Russell Crowe stars, Naomi tried on the image of a journalist who reported harassment from a media mogul.
