Personal life and biography of Vyacheslav Fresh from the Turetsky Choir"

Blogger Uncle Slava - biography

There are not enough reliable facts from the life of Uncle Slava on the entire Internet. Only small grains and extremely meager facts remain. Before his popularity, Vyacheslav’s biography is full of blank spots. This is probably why fans make a bunch of assumptions, without much success in finding out the truth.

Now Vyacheslav is a fairly well-known blogger on YouTube. Uncle Slava has a completely original way of blogging. Therefore, such widespread popularity arose in a short time. Uncle Slava's main activity is streaming. More precisely, their creation using the Chatruletka service and their further recording with the most interesting content.

For those who don’t know, Chatroulette is a site where people can, without revealing their anonymity, talk to another random person using a video call. This video format is popular with fans of Uncle Slava and casual viewers. The blogger uploads videos with extraordinary people to YouTube.

And usually the majority of these videos are made up of people expressing ambiguous and contradictory opinions. But more often than not, there are people who are very sensitive to news from federal channels. Conversations with them create interest among channel viewers. As for another type of activity, in one video Vyacheslav stated that besides channels on YouTube and maintaining an Instagram page, he does nothing else.

Art group Turetsky Choir

The art group “Turetsky Choir” is a group whose members all have an excellent musical education and have unique voices. And although each of the ten vocalists is a virtuoso soloist, together they form an amazing ensemble unity, a special sound, easily recognizable from the first sounds. The choir's repertoire includes more than 350 works of various genres: from opera arias to urban romances, from fragments of liturgical synagogue music to classical musicals, from jazz compositions to pop hits. Based on the geography of their performances, you can study the world map: Russia, USA, Australia, Canada, Europe, Israel,... The team can handle any venue: both chamber halls and stadiums. Mikhail Turetsky, the creator and artistic director of the choir, “remade” the academic choir into a popular art project.

Michael Turkish

Born in Moscow. He studied flute at a music school, and then immediately entered the fifth grade of the famous Sveshnikov Choir School. Then there were the conducting and choral department and graduate school at the Gnessin Institute. And during his studies, Mikhail worked as a driver, loader, regent, led a children's chapel and a political song ensemble, and in 1989 he created the men's choir of the Moscow Choral Synagogue, which he then transformed into the art group “Turetsky Choir”.

In 2002, Mikhail Turetsky was awarded the honorary title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, in 2004 - the title of "Person of the Year", in 2010 - the title of People's Artist of Russia. In 2005, Mikhail wrote an autobiography about his life, work and the history of the creation of the choir.

Alex Alexandrov

Born in Moscow. Sasha’s mother played the guitar professionally and sang beautifully. Alex took his first vocal lessons in the preschool group of the Big Children's Choir of Gostel-Radio. dent, toured with the choir. One of the youngest soloists, he is an old-timer in the Choir. He considers the Chorus a major part of his life, and Mikhail Turetsky as a second father and senior comrade.

Alex is not only a soloist, but also an assistant choreographer, and he also brilliantly copies the voices of politicians, artists and can repeat the performance style of any pop singer. A fan of Western music, he feels especially confident in the pop directions of the group’s repertoire, performing solos in compositions of different styles. He believes in what he does, he has something to strive for, and he is interested in life.

Evgeniy Tulinov

Born in Moscow. He inherited his musical ear, ringing treble and excellent sense of rhythm from his father. From the age of 5 he studied music with a teacher, at the age of 7 he went to a music school to study piano, then to the music school at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, and then to the Gnessin Institute. During my studies, I practiced a lot of vocals and learned to control my voice.

In 1984, he met Turetsky, together with him he participated in the creation of the Choir, and since 1991 he has been the deputy artistic director of the art group. The parts performed by Evgeniy are unforgettable for connoisseurs of the classics. He has a bright and colorful dramatic tenor that captivates audiences with its strength, power and penetration. The plasticity of the voice makes it easy to move from the opera genre to the pop genre and back, sometimes within the same work. His favorite project allows Evgeniy to reveal himself as an actor: sometimes tragic and dreamy, sometimes full of humor and movement, he made more than one theater cry for himself. In 2007, Evgeny Tulinov was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.

Misha Kuznetsov

Born in Moscow. From the age of 6 he studied at a music school, and from the age of 8 he sang in the children's choir of the Bolshoi Theater. He graduated from the Gnessin Music College, then the Gnessin Institute. While studying at the institute, he met Turetsky and easily joined the team of the Turetsky Choir. Mikhail has a unique, very high voice - at the junction of masculine and feminine. He can perform roles for coloratura soprano - there are only a few such singers not only in Russia, but also in the world. She easily performs complex roles intended for the highest female voices, replacing one stage image with a diametrically opposite one, which causes constant delight among the audience. In 2007, Mikhail Kuznetsov was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.

Boris Goryachev

Born in Moscow, my mother had a musical education, my grandfather sang romances wonderfully - his grandson inherited a deeply velvety baritone. At the age of 8 he entered a music school to study accordion, but, as it turned out, he liked singing more. A year later, he came to audition for the A.V. Choir School. Sveshnikov, and he was immediately enrolled in the 4th grade. Thanks to a great desire to learn, professional teachers and his own efforts, after a couple of years he was no longer inferior to his classmates. Performances began at large music venues. Thanks to his success in the musical field and dynamic lifestyle, Boris realized that he could not imagine any other future for himself. After college he entered the Moscow Conservatory. As a first-year student, he already worked in the Akathist male chamber choir under the direction of Malyutin, which toured extensively around the world. It became increasingly difficult to combine work and study, and Boris was forced to transfer to the correspondence department of choral conducting at the Gnessin Institute.

In 1995, he went to work in the Peresvet choir and at the same time started his own project - a quartet performing sacred and Russian folk music. He joined the Turetsky Choir in 2003. At the audition, Turetsky saw a young man - sweet, slightly awkward, very simple, without unnecessary polish, but with an amazing voice. Desire, work and support from his colleagues helped Boris gain confidence, and a year later the public saw a completely different Boris Goryachev, whom we know today.

Evgeniy Kulmis

Born in the Southern Urals, in the city of Kopeisk. Parents noticed their son's musical talent early and sent him to a music school. Evgeny graduated from the Chelyabinsk Music College with honors, at the age of 20 he entered the Gnessin Institute, and a month later he was drafted into the army. After the army, he continued his studies at the institute and then in graduate school. He began his musical career as a pianist. In 1991, I saw an advertisement for the admission of singers to the men's choir of the Moscow Choral Synagogue. This was the music that was interesting to him. A unique bass profundo, a voice rare in its depth and at the same time softness (an octave below the bass) attracted the attention of Turetsky. Over the years of concert activity, Evgeniy has performed many different roles: from Mephistopheles to compositions by Viktor Tsoi. He is the author of translations of many texts from the group's repertoire.

Oleg Blyakhorchuk

Born in Minsk. Since childhood, he stood out for his impeccable hearing and ability to act relaxed and flexible in front of the public, and he sang with great pleasure. Already in the first grade, having performed on the stage of the House of Officers with the song “From a Smile,” I felt the extraordinary pleasure of singing, which remained in my memory for the rest of my life. He continued his education at the Glinka Music College in Minsk. In his third year at school, he was simultaneously the leader, vocalist and keyboard player of a vocal-instrumental group.

After college, he entered the Belarusian State Conservatory named after Lunacharsky and almost immediately went to serve in the army, where he sang in the ensemble “Rovesnik”. After the army, he returned to his studies, at the same time he sang in the Radio and Television Choir, and on weekends - at weddings. Thanks to this, he discovered the pop genre and became a soloist of the National Orchestra of Symphonic and Pop Music of Belarus under the direction of Finberg.

She has been singing in the Turetsky Choir since 1996. The Choir’s repertoire at that time was dominated by classics, and the pop direction began to develop largely thanks to Oleg. He performs foreign pop hits and compositions by domestic authors with equal brilliance. In 2009, he mastered the wind harmonica, the solo on which is now an obligatory part of the Choir’s program.

Konstantin Kabo

Born in Moscow. Since childhood, teachers paid special attention to the vocal boy. At the age of 10, he entered the Sveshnikov Choir School, and after graduating, at the age of 15, he went to GITIS. Since 1996, he served in the twice Red Banner Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Russian Army named after Alexandrov, and after completing his service he remained to work in the ensemble. Once, at a concert in the Kremlin Palace, he heard about the casting for the musical “Nord-Ost”, with which the period of musicals began in his life, and became a real participant in the tragedy that occurred on Dubrovka. By luck, in the first minutes after the capture he managed to escape through a third-floor window.

Then there were “12 Chairs”, “Romeo and Juliet”, “Matta Mia”. When at the end of 2007 Konstantin learned that Turetsky was looking for a tenor, he had no doubts. I liked the smiling and positive singer right away. They gave me a month to master the group’s repertoire, which includes several hundred works. And a month later, Konstantin brilliantly performed not only choral, but also solo parts.

Igor Zverev

Born in Shatura. Father is an Honored Artist of Russia, conductor of the orchestra of the Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the Internal Troops of the Russian Ministry of Defense. When Igork was three years old, the family moved to Hungary, where his father worked. There his first musical debut took place. His parents, seeing their son’s abilities, sent him to study in Moscow at the Sveshnikov Choir School.

Graduated from the Sveshnikov Choir School. After graduating from college, Igor served in the army in the ensemble where his father worked. There were his like-minded people there, who were as interested in music as he was. In those years, Igor sang as a second tenor, but then his voice began to change: it became deeper, lower, brighter, and he was transferred to bass. After the army, he entered the Moscow Academy of Culture and Art in the choral conducting department, after graduation he sang for 5 years in the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, then in the State Academic Symphony Chapel named after Polyansky, worked on arrangements, collaborated with Christian Rey, soloists X-Mission group.

He joined the Turetsky Choir in 2003. Turetsky immediately noticed that before him was an interesting and versatile artist who had a keen sense of music and could perform everything from classical to jazz. Rehearsals, concerts, and tours began. Igor’s talent and desire to match the professionalism of the team played a role: now there is energy and confidence in his voice.

Vyacheslav Fresh

Born in Moscow. I started singing since childhood and really wanted to study at a music school. Seeing his grandson's aspirations and talents, his grandfather, contrary to his parents' wishes to see him as an engineer, insisted on studying abroad, and Slava became a student at the Faculty of Music and Fine Arts at the Johannes Guttenberg University in Mainz. In addition to the history of music, he studied vocal skills.

One day Vyacheslav heard a performance by the Turetsky Choir, and it made a very strong impression on him. While passing through Moscow, he learned about the casting for the Choir, but he had neither experience, nor the appropriate vocal skill, nor the ability to stay on stage - qualities that are characteristic of all soloists of the group, but still sent his notes by mail. A few months later he was invited to an audition in Moscow, and then accepted into the group.

I had to quickly study the entire repertoire of the Choir and not only show unique vocal abilities in solo fragments, but also join the polyphonic choral score. A year later, at the cost of many hours of daily rehearsals, he took his place in the choir. The rarest timbre of Vyacheslav’s voice is a counter-tenor, a male voice corresponding to a female contralto, more suitable for performing music of the Baroque era. He is also capable of modern compositions, including Queen, The Beatles, Scorpions.

Popularity on YouTube and channels

Vyacheslav’s channel, registered in 2020, is most famous among YouTube users. In just 2 years, almost 250 thousand people subscribed to this channel.

From time to time, Uncle Slava posts his videos where he communicates live with subscribers.

In a short time, almost any video gains huge momentum from views. YouTube users often comment on his videos and constantly call Grandfather for communication. And on Instagram, Uncle Slava uploads videos for subscribers. They are sent by Grandfather's fans.

We must admit that words of gratitude often come even from teenagers. And all because Vyacheslav is not shy about strong words in conveying his own thoughts, in which one can sometimes notice criticism of the authorities.

The path to popularity

In 2007, Slava and a friend went to a concert of the Turetsky Choir, which took place in Germany. The young man was amazed by the performance - there was a combination of sacred, pop and academic music. The young man decided to try his luck and try to join the choir. Slava met Boris Goryachev, who told the young man about the casting.

For the audition, Vyacheslav prepared several compositions, including a song by his favorite band Queen, and sent all the materials by mail. Slava did not believe that they would take him. After some time, the young man received an invitation to audition, came to Moscow and passed the final casting.

Vyacheslav was placed on probation without public appearances. Long rehearsals awaited the young man ahead. He had to not only learn the Choir’s repertoire, but also “tune” his voice to suit the other members of the group. Fresh considers himself very lucky to be part of such a wonderful team.

At the end of 2008, Vyacheslav was allowed to appear on stage as part of the Choir. It was a success. The young and handsome newcomer with a rare and surprisingly strong voice attracted the attention of the public.

Fans liked his songs, especially memorable: “The Smile of God is a Rainbow” (2015), “With You and Forever” (2016), “With Snow” (2018). In his performance they sound amazing.

In 2014, Vyacheslav left the Choir to pursue solo work. However, soon, without any comments, he returned back to the team and continued to sing brilliantly.

Why was Uncle Slava imprisoned?

In one of his videos, Vyacheslav admitted to having a criminal record and being in prison. Such an unexpected message amazed Grandfather’s viewers. The reaction to the news was immediate, immediately after the release of the video. Numerous questions immediately arose. But most importantly, what article was the reason for Uncle Slava’s conviction?

Fans of Grandfather have not yet received an answer to this. Uncle Slava only laughs it off, or immediately changes the topic of conversation. This fact is confirmed by the topics of conversations on streams. They are often associated with prison stories.

In addition, Vyacheslav easily maintains a conversation with a person from the “underworld” . Another proof can be the frequency of the latest videos released. In them, while on air, the blogger talks to former prisoners, using slang expressions and having a great understanding of “concepts.” These videos only confirm guesses about Grandfather’s prison past.

Personal life

Not much is known about the man’s personal life. He is about 50-60 years old. It is clear that Uncle Slava is married . Vyacheslav made fun of his wife more than once on his personal blog. There may be children and grandchildren, but this cannot be confirmed for sure. The man does not post family photos on his Instagram account. So there is very little information on the Internet, and even less reliable facts, and of course there are a number of reasons for this:

  • Absent from social networks other than Instagram and YouTube;
  • The content of Grandfather's videos is not related to his life;
  • Stingy responses on streams when the blogger’s past is touched upon.

Mikhail Turetsky

The man is considered the founder of the Turetsky Choir group. He is a truly talented and charming person who managed to become famous. Mikhail started a family quite early. He married his fellow student Elena. The young people soon had a daughter, but the union did not last long. Turetsky was performing with the choir when he was told the terrible news. His wife, along with her father and brother, died in a car accident. Mikhail canceled the tour and fell into depression, which he was able to overcome with difficulty.

After some time, the man married for the second time. His chosen one was the Armenian Liana, whom he met on tour in America. Then the woman already had a daughter, and later the couple had two more girls. Of course, the man did not forget about his first child and was actively involved in raising her. Now Mikhail lives with his second wife and daughters. He can be called a happy man who has achieved a lot in life.

Famous facts from life

Uncle Slava does not hide his shortcomings; in his youth he took heavy drugs. Because of this, he lost all his teeth and now wears dentures.

As a result, he received a disability. Now Grandfather is retired, and according to him, he experienced two clinical deaths. And from his Instagram account it is clear that Uncle Slava is actively involved in sports and leads a healthy lifestyle.

There are also photos from the 90s. In them, the young man looks athletic and physically well developed. Even now, if you look at Grandfather, it will immediately become clear that he maintains his shape.

Flying in dreams and in reality

“Running home, I rushed to my diary entries. I reached the dates dated December 2010,” continued Vladislav Ivanovich. “That month, Ira began to come to me in my dreams, although before that I had never remembered the night’s scenes. And then suddenly Irisha said that in five years she would send me an envoy. “What nonsense? - Think. “I don’t need anything anymore, all the fervor of love is a thing of the past.” The same dream was repeated a second time, and then a third... The third time I answered my wife in a dream: “Okay, I persuaded her, let her come. The main thing is that you calm down!” After that, Ira did not appear to me.

And exactly five years later, Veriga and I began a crazy romance! Burning with passion, I wrote poetry to her at night. For example: “My soul groans, weeps, laughs. / I fell into the abyss of sudden love. My soul is eager to meet the gypsy, / and I feel the plasma heat in my blood.” I couldn't live a day without my beloved. Until her parents found out about our relationship, Veriga and I had flights in our dreams and in reality. But then came the ban.

On the cover of his poetry collection, the author placed a photo of Tai Veriga herself

- How can you forbid love?! Stanislav Sadalsky intervened in our emotional conversation .

“Her father, Stas, contacted me several times. “I’m afraid of your frantic energy,” he told me. “I’m afraid that you will put pressure on my daughter.” It was in vain that I convinced him that I loved Veriga madly and wanted to marry her. That he was wrong to break her first love in her life. And that she, having submitted to her father’s will, will remember this all her life. Only later did I find out the real reason why we were separated. The point is not at all in our age difference: at the time of the affair I was 74, she was 18. It turned out that her father, when Veriga was just born, married her, the little one, to the little son of a gypsy baron. And then, inopportunely, I showed up, violating all their long-reached agreements. And they “closed” Veriga from me. I was so furious that one day I put a gift from the USSR Ministry of Defense on the kitchen table in front of me - a personalized Stechkin pistol. I decided for myself: that’s it, I have to leave. But at the very last moment, before cocking the trigger, something clicked inside me. In three nights I compiled all the poems that Verige wrote and released a poetry collection called “The Story of a Love.” So little by little I got out.

Currently, in order to create exciting content, Uncle Slava is covering different areas of his creativity. The blogger is interested in movements that are more typical of young people. For example, rap. But the main feature of Grandfather’s videos is their constantly changing background due to chromakey. In addition, Vyacheslav is promoting the following channels:

  • Blogs;
  • Streams;
  • Rap;
  • Reactions.

Recently, new songs by Vyacheslav are increasingly being released on the Uncle Slava - Rap channel. So the blogger is actively promoting the rapper channel.
