Two main losses of Vladimir Nosik

Biography

People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Nosik was born into the family of a working-class, ethnic Pole, Benedikt Nosik.
Later the surname was transformed into Nosik. Before the war, Vladimir’s parents moved from Ukraine to Moscow, where in 1940 their first child, Valery Nosik, Vladimir’s older brother, was born. As a child, Valery became interested in theater; Vladimir, on the contrary, did not strive for an acting career. In high school, he entered a vocational school to become a turner. And only after serving in the army, Vladimir decided to follow in the footsteps of his older brother, who by that time had already graduated from the Institute of Cinematography. His brother helped Vladimir select a repertoire for the entrance exams. In 1966, Nosik Jr. entered VGIK on the course of Professor B. Babochkin.

Childhood and family of Alexander Nosik

Sasha Nosik spent his childhood in an artistic family. Alexander’s parents met in Moldova on the set of the film “Trains Go Past the Windows.” Alexander's father is the popular Soviet comedian Valery Nosik. Mother is actress Maria Sternikova.

According to his mother, when Sasha was born, her husband was incredibly happy and doted on his son. From early childhood, the boy was invited to act in films, but his parents (especially his mother) prevented this in every possible way. But the appearance of their son on the theater stage did not raise any objections among the parents. And if as a child Alexander starred in only one movie (“You and I will go pick mushrooms in the forest,” directed by Sergei Gurzo), then he performed constantly on the stage of the Maly Theater.

When Nosik Jr. turned 9 years old, his parents separated. The mother took her son with her and soon married the artist Alexei Kudinovich.

Theater

After graduating from university, Vladimir joined the troupe of the Film Actor Studio Theatre, where he began to receive roles in both classical and modern repertoire. The audience remembers Vladimir Nosik in the performances “The Fool” by Lope de Vega, “The Miracle of St. Anthony” by Maurice Maeterlinck, “The Comedy of Errors” by William Shakespeare, “Behind the Dead Souls” by Nikolai Gogol, “Tanya” by Alexei Arbuzov, “The Shadow” by Evgeny Schwartz.

After 25 years, the actor moved to the State Academic Drama Maly Theater, where his older brother played for more than 30 years. Vladimir Benediktovich came to Maly as a mature, established master. Having started on the famous stage with small roles, Vladimir eventually joined the main cast of the troupe. With the participation of Nosik, the productions “Tsar Ivan the Terrible” and “Prince Silver” by Alexei Tolstoy, “Our People - Let’s Be Numbered!” were released. Alexander Ostrovsky, “The Feast of the Victors” by Alexander Solzhenitsyn, “The Criminal Mother, or the Second Tartuffe” by Beaumarchais, “Masquerade” by Mikhail Lermontov, “Uncle Vanya” and “Three Sisters” by Anton Chekhov, “King Gustav Vasa” by August Strindberg and many others.

“Vladimir Nosik is endowed with a truly unique organic quality,” says the Maly Theater website about the actor. - It seems that each of us has exactly such a neighbor, friend, work colleague. The images created by the artist are always distinguished by their authenticity, no matter how phantasmagoric, say, the first magician in “Tsar Ivan the Terrible” by A.K. Tolstoy or the would-be doctor Christian Ivanovich Gibner from Gogol’s “The Government Inspector” may seem.

Vladimir’s last works at the Maly Theater were the performances “The Power of Darkness” by Leo Tolstoy and “The Heroine’s Dream” by Alexander Galin.

Personal life

In the mid-70s, Elena Aleksandrovna Zinicheva, an art critic by training, became the wife of Vladimir Nosik. In 1978, the first-born son Timofey was born into Vladimir’s family. After school, the young man studied at the Faculty of Economics of VGIK and began producing.

In 1984, Vladimir and Elena had two more children - twin sisters Ekaterina and Daria. Both graduated from Moscow theater universities and work as actresses.

In 2002, a tragedy struck the actor’s family: Timofey died. He was part of the film crew of Sergei Bodrov Jr. in the Karmadon Gorge.

Vladimir Nosik’s own nephew, Valery’s son Alexander, also chose the acting path. The actor gained fame thanks to his roles in the films “Hunting for the Manchurian Man,” “In the First Circle,” and “Travelers-2.”

Children of Vladimir Nosik

Actor Vladimir Nosik was born on April 3, 1948 in Moscow. In addition to him, his older brother Valery also grew up in the family, who, from childhood, decided on his choice of profession and firmly decided to become an actor. My parents had nothing to do with art: my mother worked as an accountant, and my father was a military man. Vladimir Nosik’s children are no longer all alive: his son died along with the film crew of the famous director Sergei Bodrov.

Vladimir Noski did not immediately decide on exactly how he wanted to go through his life path and what profession to devote himself to. After graduating from school, the guy entered a vocational school, after which he began working first as a turner, then as a mechanic. However, the authority of his older brother took its toll: Volodya decided to follow in his footsteps. The mutual understanding between the brothers was excellent, so the elder helped and assisted the younger in his admission as best he could. As a result, Volodya nevertheless became a student at VGIK. However, after the first year the student was almost expelled: they set the condition that he must prove himself. I had to try very hard to remain among the students.

After receiving higher education, Nosik began collaborating with the film actor’s theater, where he worked for 25 years, until its closure. After this, the artist moved to the Maly Theater. At first, he got very small roles, but then he managed to earn trust and come to the fore. He was again provided with a good job.

At the very beginning of the 1970s, Socks made his film debut. At first I had to play mostly criminals, the roles were small. However, over time, the situation changed significantly and the repertoire began to change. In addition, the actor became recognizable, in demand, thousands of television viewers fell in love with him and were looking forward to a new premiere with his participation. Vladimir himself also loved cinema very much: he acted constantly, did not even take a vacation. The characters he played may not have claimed the main role, but they never remained in the shadows.

The personal life of Vladimir Nosik took shape quite a long time ago. In his destiny there was only one beloved woman: art critic Elena. It was she who became the mother of Vladimir Nosik’s children, who, unfortunately, are no longer alive. The wife is very fond of theater and performances; she constantly spends a lot of time watching films and theater premieres. She also devoted a lot of time in her life to raising children.

Vladimir Nosik’s twin daughters also followed in their father’s footsteps and graduated from theater universities: Dasha - GITIS, Katya - Shchepkinsky School. They have already made their film debut. Their father did not dissuade them from choosing a profession, since from childhood they already had an idea of what exactly awaited them and what sacrifices they would have to make.

The fate of Vladimir Nosik’s son, Timofey, was tragic. The guy died along with the film crew of Sergei Bodrov in the Karmadon Gorge during an avalanche. He had an economic education and worked as an executive director. He has produced a large number of commercials and music videos. Timofey really liked the work, he even thought about opening his own studio, but a terrible tragedy happened. This is a tragedy not only for the family of Vladimir Nosik, but also for the whole country, because it has lost a good professional and master of his craft.
