The future TV presenter was born in Moscow on January 25, 1976 into a family of journalists. His mother and grandmother, a former doctor, were involved in his upbringing. His father left the family when Tim was still a child. Moreover, this happened after his mother was in a car accident, in which her face was severely disfigured: her nose was torn off. Therefore, the son cannot forgive his father for this act to this day.

Despite the allegedly poor academic performance and terrible cruelty of teachers, after school the young man successfully entered the Faculty of Journalism of Moscow State University, albeit in the evening department, from which he graduated in 1998 with honors. At the same time, he studied at the biology department of this prestigious university, where he did not become an excellent student.

Timofey Bazhenov was born in Moscow in 1976. His mother and grandmother raised him. His father ran away from the family when Timofey was very young, and he left for the reason that the future presenter’s mother was very seriously injured in an accident. Bazhenov still cannot forgive his father for this act and believes that men do not act like that.
At school, the boy studied poorly, and practically did not get along with his classmates, the whole reason was the negative attitude towards him on the part of the teachers. However, after graduating from school, Timofey successfully entered the Faculty of Journalism at Moscow State University, from which he graduated with honors. But my studies at the Faculty of Biology were not so successful.

The future zoologist was born into a family of doctors and journalists. At the same time he graduated from 2 faculties of Moscow State University - biology and journalism. In 1998, Bazhenov was hired as a correspondent in the NTV special projects department. Here he worked as an editor, administrator, assistant director, prompter, and also as a live broadcast director in such programs as: “Results”, “Today”, “The other day”, “To print”, “Today at midnight with A. Gerasimov”, “Recent History”, “Profession Reporter”, “For Future Use”, “Newspaper Row” and “Press Rating”. In addition, Timofey took part in the creation of “Special Reports” for the “Today” news program. Timofey Bazhenov created 10 documentaries. He visited many hot spots. He was the voice of the NTV channel and the announcer of the “Vprok” program.

2003-2011 – participated in the creation of television programs about the life of wild animals, known as “Wild World”. Filming this program required a lot of effort, both from Bazhenov and from his team. For example, during filming a rather dangerous experiment was carried out with a viper. A micro-camera was implanted in Bazhenov’s forearm, and the viper was supposed to bite right above the lens. This was done to show how snake venom penetrates the blood and how it affects the human body. At the same time, the presenter talked about his feelings.
2004-2010 – was the author and presenter of the educational television program “Bazhenov’s Tales”.
At the moment, Bazhenov is working on creating an educational program “Bazhenov’s Rating” (channel “Russia-2”). Within the framework of this program, 4 series of films have already been released:

Since 2003, for seven years, in a series of programs on NTV “Wild World”, he provided viewers with the opportunity to observe the life of birds and animals. For example, see a bear sucking a paw, a mother bear feeding her cubs, or a newborn lynx being born. Fascinating video material allowed Russians to witness the expedition's presence in the wild, enjoy its beauty, untouched by civilization, and receive recommendations for survival in extreme conditions. The scenarios for the fairy tales were written by Tatyana Ivanova, Timofey’s mother. After the broadcast ended, the journalist transferred most of the animals to zoos, but Timofey kept the crow Varya, who can imitate his mother’s voice, for himself.

In 2003, Timofey began making a program in which every viewer could immerse himself in the atmosphere of real wildlife and watch wild animals. At the same time, he filmed all the video material in such a way that the viewer felt as if he was literally a few meters away from the events taking place. For example, he hides behind a tree, from where he is not visible to wild animals.
This project was called "Wild World". The program aired on Russian television for seven years. Perhaps during this time there were no interesting places left in Russia that Bazhenov would not have explored.
