One of the main roles in this series is played by Lera Kozlova. Both in the film and in life, she is the lead singer and drummer of the group. True, at the moment the girl is pursuing a solo career. Her collaboration with the group ended, to put it mildly, not entirely successfully. How did a talented singer become part of a popular group? What caused her to leave the group? Childhood and dancing

On January twenty-second, 1988, Lera Kozlova was born in Moscow. The biography of a little girl has its origins in a family where none of the members has anything to do with art. However, from childhood, the baby showed remarkable creative abilities. She never attended music school. But this in no way stopped Valeria from demonstrating her outstanding singing and dancing skills at all home events. Parents decide to send their daughter to some club. By chance, Lera Kozlova passes the selection and becomes part of the once popular ensemble “Pinocchio”. Thanks to the team and the leader of this creative association, the girl learned to dance well and even play the drums.

Many predicted a career in ballet for Lera. However, the girl chose the musical direction. Sergei Milnichenko had a huge influence on this decision. It was he who persuaded the girl to become a soloist of the Ranetki group, popular among teenagers.

The early years of Valeria Kozlova: “Ranetki”

Valeria Sergeevna Kozlova was born in Moscow on January 22, 1988.
She never went to a music school, and no private teachers or vocal teachers worked with her. However, music and creativity have always been an important part of her life. She studied on her own and then improved her skills in the children's ensemble "Pinocchio". She has performed with this group since childhood. Over the years, she managed to learn to sing, play the drums, and also dance a wide variety of dances quite well. Currently, she can masterfully perform many folk and modern dances. Moreover, she handles pointe shoes well and can easily perform several ballet steps. As noted in some sources, it was for this reason that for a long time all of Lera’s acquaintances believed that she should definitely connect her life with dancing. The teachers predicted a great future for her. However, the girl herself had completely different plans for this. She chose music and, confidently settling down behind a drum set, began to make her way into the world of Russian show business.

Valeria Kozlova entered the Moscow State Institute of Culture (specialty “Producing”), and already in August 2005, together with four of her friends, she decided to organize her own rock band. The project was called “Ranetki” and very soon became very popular in the CIS. It is very noteworthy that at the very beginning there was one more member in the group - a soloist. However, a few months after the formation of the group, the girl left Russia, and therefore the functions of the vocalist were transferred to our today’s heroine. And it brought success! The presence of a girl combining the functions of a drummer and vocalist became a distinctive feature of the young group - its main “trick”. At least, it was this fact that attracted the attention of the producers of the Megaliner label, who in 2005 signed a full-fledged contract with the group and began promoting it.

The young team of “Ranetka” first loudly announced itself in 2006. During this period, the girls-band performed at many of the largest Russian festivals - Emaus, Megahouse and some others. A year later, the success story repeated itself again. It is very noteworthy that during this period the girls established good relationships with representatives of other well-known Russian groups - “Korni”, “GDR”, “City 312”. Lera Kozlova herself even took part in the recording of the album of the punk group “Cockroaches”, and also performed backing vocals for the new album of the group “UmaTurman” with the brothers Vladimir Sergei Kristovsky.

Ranetki and Ex-Ranetka-Lera.. LeRa reveals the truth

All these successes became an important milestone in the work of the Ranetki group and Lera Kozlova herself. However, the group’s real success came from working on the TV series “Kadetstvo”. Having recorded several bright hits for this project, the girls immediately topped many Russian music charts. During this period, all of Russia started talking about the Ranetki group.

The popularity of the named group became even higher when the series of the same name “Ranetki” was released, in which Anya Rudneva, Natalya Shchelkova, Elena Tretyakova, Evgenia Ogurtsova and others played. As part of this project, viewers were told the story of talented schoolgirls who are united by a common love for music. In some ways, this story was biographical in nature. And therefore it was always perceived by the audience with a bang.

The formation of a girl band

Natalya Shchelkova and Evgenia Ogurtsova (also members of the group) have been close friends since childhood. The first confidently and talentedly plays the guitar, the second plays the keyboard. Zhenya’s father and Sergei Milnichenko have been friends for a very long time. Looking at the girls rehearsing, the producer comes up with the idea of ​​​​creating a daring girl group. He places an ad in newspapers and the Internet. Thanks to the World Wide Web, the group finds a bassist, Lena Tretyakova. Lera Kozlova joins the team in place of former soloist Alina Petrova. She went abroad and was unable to continue cooperation with the group.

Rise in popularity

The participating girls quickly became friends with each other. The first successes overtook the girl band in 2006. It was then that Lera Kozlova, Anya Rudneva, Evgenia Ogurtsova and Lena Tretyakova performed at several major Russian festivals: Megahouse, Emaus and others. The following year the successful performance was repeated. At the same time, the Ranetki group is already collaborating with such famous groups as Korni, Gorod-312 and GDR.

At the same time, Lera Kozlova took part in the recording of the album of a then popular punk band called “Cockroaches”. She also excellently performs some parts on backing vocals for the famous group of the Kristovsky brothers “UmaTurman”.

Nyuta Baidavletova

Nyuta found the elixir of eternal youth. For being 27, she looks very fresh, and this is reflected in the number of followers on Instagram. There are as many as 740 thousand. This is a record among all Ranetoks. It would seem that you advertise cosmetic brands and smear yourself with money, but Baidavletova is more complicated than you think.

She still gets into music. And last year I even dug up another ex-member of “Ranetok” Lera Kozlova and created the duet “NYUTA&LERA”. I haven't listened to the debut track called "My Boy" yet, but the cover looks very promising. I think the girls have a good chance of success again. Age still allows.

TV series "Ranetki"

In 2007, the STS TV channel invited the girl band “Ranetki” to record soundtracks for the TV series “Kadetstvo”. Producer Vyacheslav Murugov liked the cheerful and interesting girls so much that he decided to make a film about them. After some time, the girls are given the first pages of the text. The series called “Ranetki” brings great fame to young talented musicians. The television product became very popular: many teenagers were truly passionate about watching the film, which vividly and interestingly described the events of the creation and development of a popular group. Leaving the group

As part of the musical group, Lera Kozlova performed many songs. Among them, the most popular are “We are Ranetki”, “About you”, “Winter-winter”, “It’s all about her”, “She is alone”, “He will return” and others. Before the concert in Luzhniki, the girl accidentally finds out that they are going to “ask” her to leave the group. The reason for this was her “cooled down” romantic relationship with producer Sergei Milnichenko. Although many believed that the end of the long life together of the group’s lead singer and leader would be a wedding. Lera Kozlova, however, was no longer concerned with Sergei Milnichenko’s personal life. In 2008, the brightest “Ranetka” left the group.

Personal life

From the moment when the popularity of the Ranetki group rapidly increased, the personal life of Lera Kozlova and other members of the group began to be of keen interest to fans of the girls-band. It is known that the head of Ranetok, Sergei Milnichenko, and Lera had an “office romance.” Even the fact that Sergei was married and had a daughter, who was not much younger than the Ranetki, was not a hindrance. Due to rumors constantly circulating in the yellow press about their relationship, Sergei’s marriage broke up. As they write on social networks, the couple lived in a civil marriage for some time.

A year later they broke up. Various reasons are given. They say that due to her closeness to the leader of the group, Lera began to be late for rehearsals or not show up at all. A conflict arose between her and Milnichenko, which put an end to the relationship. Kozlova left the group.

Nikita Goryuk and Lera Kozlova

The blonde beauty was not alone for long. Soon, on the set of the “Quest Pistols” video, she began a relationship with its member Nikita Goryuk. At first it was just friendship. Nikita helped Lera overcome depression after leaving the group and breaking off relations with her former lover. But then a romantic feeling flared up between them. For some time it seemed to both of them that it was serious. The couple was thinking about marriage. Goryuk introduced his beloved girl to her parents. But this relationship did not result in marriage.

Now Lera Kozlova is not married and has immersed herself in creativity.

Solo career

Exactly a year later, Lera Kozlova’s failed husband married Natalya Shchelkova, who had been playing lead guitar in a musical group since 2005. In the same year, the first solo concert of the former soloist of the Ranetki group took place in Samara. Thus began a new round of Valeria’s life. She starred in the video “He’s Near” by the Ukrainian group Quest Pistols. Soon the producer of this male group invited Lera to sign a contract. The girl happily agreed. And after some time she begins to perform under the pseudonym LeRa LeRa.

With the new producer, the performer received a “second wind.” Already in 2010, two clips of the singer appeared on TV screens at once: “Unpleasant” and “She-Wolf”. The stunning success of Lera’s work resulted in increased love from the public and awards at prestigious festivals. From the RU.TV channel the girl received a prize in the “Singer of the Year” nomination. And exactly a year later, Lera was given a similar gift at the Bravo festival. At the same time, the bright blonde’s first solo album, entitled “Give Me a Sign,” was released.

Lera, many know you as a member of the mega-popular group “Ranetki” ten years ago. Please tell us what you did after you left the group?

After I left the Ranetki group, a lot of time has passed and a lot of different things have happened. I lived and did solo work in Kyiv. Then she left the stage and returned as part of the 5sta Family group. At the moment I have stopped in the musical direction again. I love music very much, but have not yet found myself in creativity. Whether this is a pause or the end of my creative career, only time will tell. In the meantime, I travel the world, visit different music festivals in search of inspiration, and do what I love.

How has your worldview changed since you were in bands? How do you live now?

When I’m in Moscow, I happily visit the gym and stretching studio and take care of myself. I changed my eating style to a more healthy one, I try to surround myself with people who motivate me to improve myself. Now I want to sign up for cycling and I’m thinking about continuing boxing. Lots of plans! You definitely need to take care of yourself. And, of course, I want to launch my online store as soon as possible and finally share this great news with my subscribers!

Do you communicate with former colleagues from Ranetki? What are the girls doing now?

Yes, sure! Zhenya, Lena, and I launched our own video blog on a YouTube channel called KURAGA. Initially, the idea was to give a couple of large concerts, for example, in Moscow and St. Petersburg for our army of fans who remember us to this day and expect something interesting from us, but, unfortunately, we were unable to come to an agreement with all the participants team. What inspires you right now?

Many things inspire me. Nature, music, people. There are so many beautiful things in life, you just have to open your eyes and your heart.

Tell us about the YouTube channel “KURAGA”. How did it appear, what are you talking about there?

I haven’t appeared on the channel for a long time, as I travel often and a lot. And I’m not much of a storyteller, I prefer to listen and watch. Telling and showing is not really my thing. I am more of an introvert who is focused on my inner world. And the girls are great at sharing everything that they manage to try in their lives.

You have a great figure, what sports do you play?

I’m not an athlete at all, I’m just trying to take care of my figure in the most common way for many people. I don’t go overboard with sweet and starchy foods – I allow myself, of course, but very rarely, otherwise it all makes itself felt very quickly. I also pay attention to physical activity. Exercise bike, running in the park, dancing, exercising in the gym or at home, swimming - the choice is huge! You can't sit still. Movement is life! And the whole body should be in good shape.

Is there a sport you would like to try?

I don't have any particular desires like that. Dancing and an exercise bike are enough for me. I hope that someday I will learn to run more professionally.

Tell us about your diet.

I do not eat meat. This is enough for my vitality, and I’m not ready to change anything in my diet right now. I always try to listen to my body and do not act according to some rules and patterns that a person needs to eat animal proteins or drink milk. That's bullshit. All the microelements we need can be replaced with plant foods and the benefits will be greater. But this is a personal matter for everyone and everyone’s body is different. For example, as for the raw food diet, I don’t feel that this diet will benefit me.

Do you engage in any spiritual practices? How do you set yourself up for a successful day?

My spiritual practice is working on my thoughts. No one but ourselves can make our day wonderful. Start each day with a smile and gratitude. This is something I try not to forget now. And it really works!

More than 300 thousand people follow you on Instagram. Do you consider yourself a blogger?

No, I’m just a person who connected his life with music, and my mother gave me a love for photography. I happily run my Instagram page and I am extremely pleased by the attention of people who are interested in watching my life.

Lera, tell us how and where you are spending this summer?

Summer has not yet begun, but I have already managed to go to my beloved Crimea, enjoy the unforgettable landscapes of fabulous Italy, and ahead of me lies Greece and another trip to Italy. This is wonderful!

What country or place do you dream of visiting?

I dream of seeing the whole world!
