In mid-1996, almost all radio stations overnight began playing new tracks by Leonidov, which no one had heard before. As it turned out, a year earlier the man recorded his first solo album, “Commander.” The famous musician Alexander Kutikov, whom he met while still a member of the “Secret” group, helped him in this.
The second album, “Vision Girl,” was released in 1997. Literally six months later, Leonidov performed a concert program at the St. Petersburg Music Hall. Thanks to just one concert, the singer became popular again, so he could be seen in almost all famous television programs and shows. In 1999, fans appreciated the next album, called “Don’t Let Him Go,” and at the end of 2001, “Thursday.” In 2009, the album “Wild Thing” was released.
During anniversaries and significant events, Maxim “returns” to the “Secret” group. So in 2003, as part of the band’s 20th anniversary, he wrote a new song “Nothing Disappears” and performed together with his colleagues in Moscow and St. Petersburg. After 4 years, the group with the old lineup again gave a concert in the Northern capital.
